Best resort on the island, very walkable to the part of town you would like to see
fine
Everything was fine... Just because of the years.... the rooms are needing some maintenance [ windows, bathroom pipes, new towels, bathrobes.... etc]
We have visted this property a number of times over the last eight years and have always enjoyed a comfortable and relaxinh stay. The hotel premises are vey clean, staff extremely helpful and friendly, rooms are spacious with good quality fittings.
Back to Corralejo
Secrets Bahia Real just perfect as always}
I liked the staff and the rooms. The pool could do with more sun beds as at peak times there were not enough. You had to get a towel early. The beach area is ok. The buffet is great with a lot of options.
Amazing experience, wonderful stay
We were very kindly given an upgrade when we booked in, the suite we were allocated was absolutely stunning. The staff were incredible, kind, courteous and efficient. The food was wonderful and facilities amazing, would recommend to Antone
Birthday Trip to Corralejo
It was my husband and I’s first trip to Canary Islands for his birthday. Although we did write in the notes that we were celebrating his birthday the hotel didn’t do anything to make it special which we were a bit surprised about. I would say the pros about this hotel is that the location is great, rooms were fantastic (although we requested a queen bed they gave us two single beds pushed together so at night one of us would sort of fall through which was a bit annoying as we had to keep pushing the two single beds together), the surrounding beach was beautiful, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only con I would give to this property is that on a beach vacation we had obviously only packed summer wear. The restaurants in the hotel (even the buffet dinner restaurant) came with a VERY strict formal dress code which we did not know about and they did not let my husband in as he was wearing shorts which I thought wasn’t fair. There should be at least one restaurant in the hotel during dinner time that does not require a dress code as people don’t tend to bring long pants/trousers to a summer/beach holiday! It was especially upsetting as it was his birthday dinner… we ended up walking to town and actually found a bunch of great local restaurants!!! Therefore, overall it is a great hotel and I would recommend it but do not go for dinner at the hotel - go somewhere local instead! (You’ll pay less, get more options AND there wont be a strict formal dress code)
It is a beautiful property very well maintained. The service is not what I would expect for a 5 star restaurant. The employees are only going through the motions. It appears there is dissatisfaction with the new ownership amongst the employees. The food is average at best. It is the only 5 star resort I’ve stayed with no concierge. David at the front desk and the bellman were very accommodating and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. The rest of the fronts office staff were either unhappy or run off their feet.
Nice hotel, garden view was a real disappointment. Room was nice and overall a pleasant holiday. Staff excellent. Food was high quality and very well presented. Unfortunately the dress code was not enforced, with jeans and T- Shirts common, this would not happen in a 5 star but seems to be the norm in Spain. Pool areas clean and very well cared for.
Book here it is lovely
Fantastic Hotel in every way
Best Hotel in Canaries imho
Hotel was fabulous and we loved the area.
Amazing week in Fuerteventura. Staff very kind. Breakfast buffet not 100% at 5* level. Maintenance of the installations should be paid more attention.
Overall it's a nice hotel with good food, attentive staff and generally very clean. The rooms aren't that modern but they're absolutely fine. The immediate surrounding area is very run down and derelict. Due to rocks on the shoreline this prohibits a safe access to the water. You need to walk a fair way up the coast before you can walk into the sea from a sandy beach. A small thing which was annoying to me was the dress code for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This was not explained at the time of my booking, resulting in me having to purchase new shoes trousers and collared shirts just so I could access the hotel restaurants.
Beautiful paradise. The place to rest and enjoy the nature. Amazing resort.
The facility is well maintained. The service was outstanding and the food was really good. Highly recommend this resort.
We had a great stay at this lovely hotel. The spa is great and the breakfast is lovely. It is a bit of a walk into town.
Wonderful ❗
Wonderful environment Very nice and always clean room Friendly staff Very good service Very good breakfast I would like they improve the quality of dinner buffet food
Perfect Honeymoon!
Absolutely loved the feeling of it! It was very spacious, quiet, and pleasant, and all the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We loved our room and the food was amazing! We got welcomed with a glass of cava and the buttler took our bags to the room whilst we enjoyed the lovely views of Isla de los Lobos from the terrace next to the Rendevous bar. At the room, we were surprised to see another bottle of cava there waiting for us! We were so happy! The mini bar was very well stocked and even the snacks were re-stocked on a daily basis. The Balinese beds were outstanding, and with the preferred club upgrade, you could use them every day. That was definitely a highlight. We also went to the beach with the sunbeds and parasols at the back of the hotel, and it was lovely! There was a bar nearby to get drinks from (Pina Colada was a favorite!) It was difficult to get a restaurant reservation for the first night since most slots get taken very quickly and we didn't check in until 2 pm ish. However, the buffet was available and it didn't disappoint. The pork chops with the chimichurri, and the variety of cheeses, potatoes, vegetables, etc made up for it all. We sat on the outside courtyard and it all felt to romantic. We would have loved it if the spa was an outdoors one, to make the most of the weather. But the pools were enough. One thing we didn't expect was for other guests to be reserving sunbeds by leaving their towels there. There should be a rule against it.
Quiet, good food, good gym, own beach and pier
Staff and amenities were lovely. The heated pools were freezing - around 23 degrees even though it was really hot - around 30 degrees whilst we were there. I think the pools could have been warmer but would still stay again if we were to go back to Fuerteventura.
Beautiful hotel with very attentive staff
This was a repeat return for us. Very relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel. Everywhere is kept totally clean and our room was very comfortable with a really nice see view. Lovely pool area with well designed planting and trees so it never feels too crowded. Really enjoyed the high quality main buffet area and themed restaurant options. Staff were all consistantly friendly. Great direct access to the beach which offered walks into the local town or along the long sandy beach.
Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay! The staff was amazing, the room was spacious and comfortable, food was very good, and the pool/beach area were great. We came in February so the hotel was only 1/3 or so full, which was perfect for us. A very relaxing time and hope to be back!
Not a good experience
From the first day it was bad, booked Priveledge club and was expensive, should of had Chromecast in room, it was missing, was told that it would take possibly 2 days as engineer was off for the weekend. Weather was awful so needed to watch something on TV. Moved room to another suite and noise kept us awake all night, had to sleep in a different room that night , sounded like boilers going all night, quite loud .staff said they knew nothing of the noise but engineer heard it . Moved again to a quiet suite , much better, battery went in the door so we could not gain access to the room, this happened a few times and the final time they had to change the mechanism, we were left waiting outside the room in bathrobes for 30 minutes after coming back from sauna. After our first move we left our swim stuff tied to the clothes hanger on the balcony. we told the staff this and they took 2 days to come back to us saying it was not there . These items were quite expensive. Preferred club gave us an exclusive seating area in the restaurant , when diners had not paid the extra they were moved. One Polish couple sat down and because the waitress was Polish they were allowed to stay. I got 100 euro back off an over €3k one week stay . Never again Ants in rooms, safe batteries gone . Overall management was very lacking, one great staff member Nati helped us out so much . Food in mornings was good , in evenings in the Market cafe the food was simple and not so good
Overall nice - spa needs updating
Overall this hotel was very nice - rooms were spacious and well decorated, staff were friendly and it has some nice sea views. Only "faults" were that it was difficult to flag down service staff for pool side drinks, food was just ok and the spa was quite dated and didn't look very 5*.
Great property. Highly recommend it.
Great hotel. Right on the beach. Pool area. Several restaurants to choose from. Spa was a welcome treat when weather wasn't the greatest on our first day. Staff are friendly and helpful. All good. Would recommend.
Relaxing Time.
Due to a delayed flight, i arrived very late to check-in, but the staff were more than helpful and the hotel bar was still open until 12.45am. I was able to relax and felt great throughout my stay, thanks to the wonderful staff.
My stay was absolutely amazing! Couldn't have picked a better hotel. Everyone was friendly, it was cleaned everyday, service was 10/10 and I would recommend to anyone wanting a beach holiday. This was perfect!!!
Amazing resort! 10 minutes walk from high street with lots of dining options. The staff was amazing and the property is very very clean. Very high standards. I would definitely recommend and will be back!
We've had a great stay at Bahia Real. The ultimate luxury package was good value as it included all food, cocktails, drinks etc. during our stay. Food was ok overall but we really preferred the a la carte dining options in the Canarian and Japanese restaurant. We also enjoyed the sun beds at the Sugar Reef lounge, overlooking the sea with excellent service. Room with free minibar and sea view was great, too! Had a great stay and would recommend when travelling to the Corralejo area.
Excellent hotel and will be back, near sand dunes, walk to centre about 20 minutes or less than €4 by taxi
Top of the range price wise but worth it.
The breakfast choice had something for everyone and is the best selection I have ever been offered. Some areas were not open or restricted because of covid and we chose to go out for dinner in the evening. Staff around the pool also very good and the porter was very helpful on arrival. Room clean with sea view.
Nice property located on a great beach promenade that could lead you to the city center in about 30 min. Could say that some facilities and amenities might deserve to have light renovation.
Very large, relaxing hotel. Amazing breakfast
Fab U Lous
Fabulous sea view room, hotel exceptionally clean. Breakfast was delicious. Would love to go back. Excellent hotel in fabulous location.
The hotel was lovely the staff were very friendly the breakfast was fantastic
Amazing staff and very clean hotel
Despite all the challenges with Covid this hotel has done its very best and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is immaculate and being kept clean constantly
Brilliant hotel
We stayed for three days for our 20 year wedding anniversary. Had a small issue with the room, went to reception and was immediately upgraded to a sea view room with no questions asked.
Great staff , facilities, and location, enjoyed our 4 days stay
Convenient location; sizeable suites; general comfort; unobtrusively attentive staff; wide range of amenities; excellent food. Perfect venue for a week away from UK damp and gloom.
A lovely hotel in a brilliant location on the edge of Corralejo. It overlooked an exclusive beach and the sea across to Isla De Lobos and Lanzarote . It was close enough for us, to walk into town as often as we wanted but also had great amenities including a health club and spa when we wanted to just relax.
was a very nice hotel food was ok breckfast great the rest of food very average staff excellent thougn
Superb! Superior! Idyllic! Family friendly but sophisticated!
Very clean hotel and very friendly staff throughout would recommend to anybody We are already looking at taking our grandsons later in the year
Nice location by the sea but quite a long walk into the centre. The hotel is very tired and in need of refurbishment. Firmly geared towards the older generation rather than families.
Whenever you have any interaction with any of the Hotel staff , they are all exceptional .
The rocky beach was a bit unfortunate. however, nothing you can do about it. Staff very friendly.
I really enjoyed my stay at Bahia Real! The atmosphere and staff were awesome
Brilliant in every way ! Cant fault it. Loved the rooms, loved the food, loved the staff and their professionalism. Had the most incredible week holiday with the family, and cant wait to go back.
Excellent , attentive, friendly and professional taff we will return
Extremely friendly and obliging staff. Nothing too much trouble. Very good food. Comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Will return
No activities. Not even any bikes to hire. Very dangerous beach area
This is one of the best hotels in the island and deserves its 5 star rating. The hotel is airy, spotless and well provided with all the amenities that anyone wanting a relaxed beach Holiday could ask for. While the hotel beach front is a little rocky it is possible to swim if the pier steps safely without the Royal of being bowled over by the surf.
Staff are very welcome and friendly. Food was OK, good bit overpriced...
The hotel was amazing with beautiful views and amenities. The service was wonderful. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
There is nothing not to like about this hotel. The staff work tirelessly to ensure you are happy and the cleanliness of the hotel is second to none. It always smells lovely! We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the choice of food was excellent. The beds around the pool are super comfy and the hotels own beach was also a favourite. This was our second visit and I hope not our last.
It a very comfortable hotel to stay but the rooms we had 114 and 115 needed refurbishing urgently .
From start to finish it was a fantastic experience staying at the hotel. Beautiful beach and sun beds right outside the hotel. Friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Fabulous gym and spa facilities. Spacious and comfortable bedroom with lots of storage space. There was nothing negative.
Just a lovely, luxurious hotel with excellent food, drinks and service
Lovely hotel, nice room, great food, impressive spa. Pricey but worth the money.
Great place
Great hotel - very big but the layout leads to you feeling that it’s not as busy as you would expect. This hotel is kitted out in a traditional style which is pleasing however whilst extremely clean it was a little tired in areas and would benefit some redecorating. Good points - spacious rooms , nice views, excellent pool and beach area - always sun beds available so no early Morning grabbing a bed thing going on (bliss) - good gym - excellent breakfast selections. Can walk into town,20mins (about 1.5miles or taxi at 4/5euros a trip. Christos one of the front meet and greeters was excellent and pre empts your needs on a number of occasions he would Notice before we did that there were no taxis in the tank on approaching him he would already be on his way over to say he had ordered a taxi and it would be there in 2mins - and it was! He also took time to ask if you had everything you needed etc. Great guy. Book club was good idea too. Poor points - on arrival you get 1free complimentary bottle of water , thereafter you have to purchase it and it’s not cheap! Bar prices are expensive too ! Nearest supermarket about 0.5mile walk away. Beach bed cushions all need replacing, thin, tired and have all seen better days. Beach bar waiters did not often come around the beds so u had to go and order your drinks etc from the bar. Gift shops really expensive - you can find the same identical things in the local craft market at better prices. Would I go back ? - most definitely
The property was first class however the area is a bit remote & several surrounding buildings are derelict creating an eyesore for guests. The entertainment was poor as I've stayed at other hotels in the Canaries & the evening entertainment was very good. Our package was half board. Breakfast offerings were excellent however dinner was poor on some days. Also although the room was lovely it had 2 single beds pushed together instead of a double bed which we were very unhappy with.
Plenty sunbeds until lunchtime no towels left on beds for hours with nobody using them. Breakfast choice was amazing.
fab
great hotel
Great hotel! Very clean, great service and friendly staff.Looking forward to come back.
Amazing location, beautiful decor, lovely polite helpful staff. We shall definitely return.
Something to be experienced in every way - delightful hotel / services / staff
Staff polite and very helpfull, food was fantastic, service was really good, excellent facilities, private beach area, no reason to leave the hotel if you didn’t want to.
Beautiful hotel, great staff and excellent buffet breakfast.
really peaceful place. Couldnt get over the sounds of the birds in the pool area all day. just great. Nice staff, great room and good food.
A superb 5 star hotel, great staff and a superb location on the seafront
Beautiful site with fabulous ocean views. Staff is amazing. Lots of restaurants to chose from.
From the first day to the last, everything was absolutely fantastic!
everything including the staff outstanding. breakfast buffet is sensational.
Fabulous Hotel on the beach, we only booked Bed and Breakfast but have to admit the Breakfast were just brilliant, lots of choice of very well cooked and presented food. The spa area also super The Pool and Gardens very relaxing The Beach area brilliant, especially as bit windy when we were there but there were wind breaks at each bed. Most of all I must admit the staff at every level where so friendly and efficient always with a smile and making you feel so welcome.
Staff are fantastic, reception, bar and restaurant areas really good
Really nice hotel. Excellent service and lovely friendly atmosphere. All facilities are great. Will definitely return!
A very enjoyable stay staff were attentive without being intrusive .There was a good atmosphere in the hotel food and restaurants where to a high standard . Lovely sea views a nice place to have a holiday for a special occasion or just to relax rewind and be pampered .
Spot on and amazing views from our sea view room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic selection at the buffet restaurant.
On the beach, wonderful facilities and just a proper 5star hotel
Superb quality hotel and I will be back at the first opportunity
Great place for the perfect rest!
Excellent spa facilities, great customer service, very comfortable bedrooms, lovely sea view and amazing breakfast!
Very relaxing, beach right outside.
Staff very helpful. An amazing holiday in every way. Short walk along beach to restaurants and bars. This was my 3rd visit and will definitely go again .
Luxury at its best
Excellent hotel , with lovely staff, will return at some point
Everithing perfect
Stunning hotel with private beach.
My daughter and I have just returned from spending a week in this beautiful hotel. All of the staff were friendly and hardworking. The buffet breakfast was simply delicious. Our room overlooked the pretty swimming pools and gardens. We enjoyed relaxing every day in the spa. This holiday was an early eighteenth birthday present for my daughter and it exceeded our expectations. We would love to return one day.
Great hotel, fantastic staff.
Our first trip to the island and what a wonderful relaxing experience we had as a family. We will return
Nice hotel but not a 5star
The hotel was very nice but i think it was let down by the employees, mainly housekeeping and reception. Every day we will come back to our room and empty dirty glasses or with a bit of water left will be not clean and replaced back. When i told reception and housekeeping they were just telling me excuses why they were not cleaned instead of just doing it. Also, the amenities will not be replaced every day. That it is not a 5star in my humble opinion. At the check out we were not asked how was our stay either, she just print the invoice and there you go. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is nice and has nice pool and spa but in need of those extra touches which makes it a 5star.
Spoilt
Brief but great stay , staff fabulous . Great beach front location a little bit of luxury ! Definitely be back
We loved our stay! We just wish we had more days to spend here! We had a sea-view junior suite. The suite was on the ground floor with a wonderful terrace looking out on the ocean. The staff was wonderful. In particular, our porter, who explained all the amenities of the hotel and our room when getting us settled in. We walked into town a couple of days, once following the shoreline and another the sidewalks, both walks were very nice. The pool and pool area are beautifully kept with wonderful loungers. The shoreline is more lava than sand, but there is a nice walkway with stairs that make it easy to get into swim. This resort lived up to its 5 star rating and we would love to visit again!
Pure class
This is one classy hotel. Lovely decor, loads of comfy areas scattered throughout to lounge around in. Our room (sea view, standard) was bright and airy. Bed was a comfortable king size (not 2 conjoined singles, that is so common in Europe - even 5-stars). Buffet, breakfast and dinner, is to die for - you'll be spoilt for choice. Great restaurants. Really nicely laid out pool lounging area with lots of green foliage in the centre of the complex, therefore protected from the strongest sea breeze. Fantastic spacious spa all part of the package. They sent the wife a birthday cake despite us never asking or mentioning it was indeed her bday. Caveats: 1. The beach is sandy, but it's a fundamentally rocky beach, so not much swimming / water sports to be had. Minus one-star if this is important to you. 2. The hotel itself is somewhat removed from the centre of town - a good 15 minutes walk. We liked the seclusion but this may not be to everyone's liking.
A little oasis
Enjoyed a lovely week bed and breakfast at the hotel in may. Weather was very mixed but wonderful hotel facilities more than compensated. We had a beautiful sea view room on 3rd floor. Very spacious and comfortable. Excellent maid service several times a day. Staff all very friendly. Fantastic spa. Good selection at breakfast. Only negatives - location a little remote. In a residential area and no bars or restaurants within a 30 minute brisk walk and although 5 star, bedroom decor is a little dated.
best hotel I've ever stayed. Would definitely go back there
Lovely hotel with great food & facilities . The room was very clean and tidy. Not really enough room for the childrens sofa bed to go down though the coffee table had to be squeezed to one side which blocked the patio doors for access this also gave us no chairs/ sofa to sit on in the evening orherwise the room was a great size for a couple. Need a larger room with an extra sofa for a family room.Apart from that we were very happy with a lovely seaview.Thank you.
Lovely hotel
This is a great hotel, staff are lovely nothing is to much trouble. Only comment is, birds are able to fly into the dinning are, and they do a lot, found them feeding on the bread/cakes in the dinning room, also occasional bird droppings on table linen. It was lovely, booking to go back again.

Expecting a better room in this category of hotel and specially in this price
