I just returned from the Sandals in Bahamas. I arrived on Wednesday evening 12/11 and left Monday morning 12/16. Despite the Expedia and Trip Advisor reviews, I still decided to take a chance on this resort, as I’ve always wanted to stay at a Sandals. First off, the private island was the main reason I booked this hotel and it was closed the entire time. This was extremely disheartening. The smell on the 5th floor hallway in the East Bay building was gut wrenching. I took the stairs a few times and saw several (15 to 20) room service plates/trays stacked. This could be causing the cockroach issue. Yes - I saw cockroaches in the Queens Pearl Bar/Restaurant. In addition, pools and jacuzzis were cold and game room was super hot. Overall, my first Sandals experience was disappointing and not what I anticipated to say the least.
I like everything about it. It was clean. The staff was pleasant. It was very close to the airport, which was a plus. Thank you.
The property is close to the airport and the beach and property itself was nice. The major con of this resort is how it is managed and the customer service. We were only there for 3 nights and could not get reservations at the restaurants The check in process was extremely slow. Service at the restaurants and in general was sub par. As a small example, the water in our room was not restocked and I had to call 4 times before someone brought water. The best run operation at the resort was the food trucks. They were fast, friendly and offered great customer service. Other than the food trucks, service was extremely slow and the staff seemed extremely unhappy.
It was ok.
The private island is the best! Loved spending the day here.
I am usually not one to write a review, but I felt it necessary to take the time in this case. I am well traveled and have been to dozens of all inclusive in a variety of countries. While this resort was clean, the transportation to the resort was seamless, the "service" was terrible. I can understand "island time" and I was never in a rush whatsoever, but when it takes 30-45 min for someone to acknowledge and seat you in a half empty restaurant there is a problem. This happened 2 of 3 evenings, and 2 of 3 lunch times. When you ask the concierge face to face for a bottle of white wine for the room and they say not a problem every single time and it never shows up ever, there is an issue. The Beach = was full of seaweed The Entertainment = Was the worst I've ever experienced at a resort. The Service: Was worst I ever experienced at a resort. The Drinks: Were good, and not watered down. So that was a positive. For roughly $1200.00 CAN / Night I expected more from this resort that's for sure. I am glad we were only stuck there for 3 nights and not a week.
The service was great especially the butler
We did enjoy the deep pools, poolside cocktails, beach swimming, spa, seafood and steak, the view, transfer to/from airport and the staff members were friendly, sometimes crossing the line. The property felt like it needed updating. Hot tubs differed in temperatures, the quiet pool was cold and not enough side tables for drinks. Elevator electrical panels were open (West Side), some walls in restaurants needed cleaning, and there was chipped table wear including milk jugs etc. and we got a cracked poolside table. Our room needed a proper clean. Considerable hair on the floor, bathrobe and in the bedding (the bedding was clean). One of the towels had a hole in it. Stains on the kitchen walls and floor. Broken kettle. We had a young cockroach visit the bathroom. Another visit from an insect in a restaurant cooking space. At one restaurant we had to move tables because I was being dripped on and we discovered a large hole in the extractor fan. Other issues included being locked out of my room for 10 minutes because the batteries had failed and identifying a safety issue (raised with management and then immediately delegated) which the staff member failed to rectify so I removed the safety issue from the outside shower. The Butler Service was disappointing. It was rare to get exactly what we ordered without an issue. The pre arrival survey was mostly ignored. Offered a free night with the condition of an NDA and not to post a review. We declined.
The service was horrible, the staff was very rude, never got orders correct, not worth the money . Will never return there again. A lot of other people said the same thing
The Resort was great! We had a good time!
We enjoyed the entertainment coming to the property. Would like for the workers to speak a little louder in general.
Great property, love the island with boat ride & atmosphere. Fantastic, friendly, and attentive staff. Hope more restaurants to come for more selection and a daily lunch buffet with salad bar/guac nacho station would be great. All in all, 5 stars.
The restaurant choices were second to none.
We arrived to our room on November 24, 2024 8:30 pm. Several things in the room needed repair upon arrival: television, bathroom hot water and shower water. These issues were fixed the next morning.
My husband and I spent 3 nights here in celebration of my 40th birthday. The grounds were lovely, as was our room. We had a wonderful view of the ocean! I also liked that everything on the resort was easily accessible. The AC unit was great and kept the room cool and comfortable. The mini bar included wine, soda, juice, water and tea/coffee. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. Upon entering our room, we noticed that we were only given 1 washcloth. We made multiple requests to the front desk but didn't receive additional washcloths until the following day. We encountered a few issues with the water in the room.It would shut off during our showers, especially during the morning hours. We also experienced some Wi-Fi connectivity issues which the staff was able to resolve in a day. I also had a small issue securing lounge chairs with umbrellas on the beach. It seemed as though all of the lounges with umbrellas were reserved for the guests with butler service. There should be more lounge chairs with umbrellas available for all guests. One of my favorite features was the food trucks, one of which had fresh cookies daily. I loved the oatmeal raisin ones! Overall, the staff was friendly, the food and drinks were good and we enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful stay here! My only complaint is that there aren’t enough seats around the pool area and if you do want chairs, you need to wake up very early to snag them before others start to save them for themselves for later. Everyone was super friendly, the food was delicious and very convenient. Beautiful place to stay with a lot of options!
Overall, the property was nice, and the rooms were excellent accommodations. However, the staff was really hit and miss. Some were fantastic, and some were terrible. The bartenders at the pool bars often ignored guest and you could wait for minutes to get any service at all. We were with a group and one afternoon went to an outdoor lunch spot....we moved a couple of tables together and they were extremely rude telling us to leave. The piano bar was fun.
Although it is an all inclusive resort make your reservations for dinner before arrival. We couldnt get into the best places upon arrival due to being booked solid. Room service was non existent for our room even though we was suppose to have it daily. We had to ask staff for towels daily. In a 4 night stay they never came in to even empty our garbage. Also if your not in a butler room get to the pool early because most chairs are reserved for butler room or higher guests. I can say the staff was helpful with directions etc during our stay. Had to call in room dining several times to get them to finally answer the phone and take our orders, then missed dinner items every time. Over all a less than grand adventure that we saved all year to enjoy.
Amazing resort 5 out of 5. Food and cleanliness is off the charts
Honeymooned here and was a great experience
Great staff but butlers are assigned to many guess at once which interfered with their availability room was much smaller than expected for price with the exception of the private pool but also with very basic amenities such as no microwave no shower door to close no smart tv which means no access to streaming services and charge outrageous prices to rent out of date movies hopefully when I travel to other locations I have a better experience
We really enjoyed our stay! The activities offered are great and the shopping trip that you can add on was a great experience. The resort was beautiful and majority of the staff were very friendly. We wish the resort had an ATM due to vendors coming in and the ATM across the street not accepting our card issuers. We found two small cockroaches in the bathroom during our stay so just be careful so you don’t bring any home. Overall an amazing trip and will be booking another Sandals in the future!
Excellent staff and service. Great location.
The property was absolutely stunning and gorgeous! It was so well kept! Absolutely everyone, no matter what their job was there ,was extremely friendly and kind and willing to do anything they could to make your stay great! The food in every restaurant we ate at was absolutely delicious and servedso beautifully. No matter who served us they were so kind! We were so impressed and we had such a good time. We were there for five days! We were never bored even just meeting someone in the hall, they would say good morning or good evening or can I do anything for you Love the fact that there was a quiet pool and another pool if you wanted more action. Love the fact that it was only 21 and older so you didn’t have to listen to kids. The variety of foods were outstanding and every restaurant was different! I cannot say enough good things about Sandals!!!! They had shows at night that were so entertaining! Everything was just gorgeous! They went out of your way to set things up for you and make everything so easy so you didn’t have to do a thing! They treated us like a king and a queen! Whatever you wanted even if it was more work for them to go get, they did it for you!!! It was the most perfect vacation place we have ever been to! From the resort itself to everyone that worked there to the restaurants to the shopping to the grounds to the wonderful rooms, to the ability to take you to another part of the island. I absolutely highly highly recommend this resort!!!!!
Balls of hair in the carpet, that was never removed after addressing it 3 times. Found cockroaches behind the fridge. Addressed with manager. Nothing was done except spraying the room. Did not provide us with a different room or any accommodation. Told us that him and the director will see us before we leave...never saw them!
We loved the organization. From the service at the airport office, the transportation, the handling of our luggage and the service at check in - check out. We loved the food, the facilities, the pools, the sea. The only thing that was perhaps missing was having someone who speaks Spanish. Luckily we found an intern named Alan who spoke Spanish and helped us a lot. Although the staff who attended to us did not speak Spanish, they made a great effort to understand us and for us to understand them, but there are always some details, especially when one has just arrived that one likes to hear in their own language so as not to miss anything. Once one is enjoying the services of the resort it is easier to make oneself understood. For the rest, except for a waitress who surely got nervous because she did not understand us, everything was excellent. This resort is excellent for couples or groups of friends looking for a quiet and pleasant time.
Property was amazing! Most staff was fantastic! Room could be a little cleaner but overall great !
Great facilities…. Beautiful and well kept. Restaurants had very good food. Overall service by the staff was good, but not great…. They were all very cordial, but didn’t go above and beyond…. Except for our departure…. We were early for our shuttle so the staff offered to have us dropped in on a new Rolls Royce…. It was excellent and the lady that made the arrangements would not accept a tip…. This left a great lasting impression…. I will be returning.
Excellent
This All Inclusive Resort was an amazing
The property is very clean to include the hotel rooms. Good products are provided in the bathrooms. And unlike other all inclusives you include the room beverages. That's a plus. And the employees are absolutely wonderful and go out of their way yo make things right. We really enjoyed ourselves.
I’ve been to Sandals five times. This was the second time here. The Staff is friendly and everyone in all the restaurants are very pleasant and accommodating. The only things that I didn’t like was that there were so many steps everywhere. For people in their mid 60’s like I am, it’s hard without ramps to get around especially if you had an injury as I did. They had some ramps. The thing that I don’t like about Sandals is that even if you go down to the beach at 6:30 am all of the huts for shade are taken by the butlers and we had to stay at the pool because there wasn’t any available huts at 6:30 am even though it was empty and no one was down there but us. The room was very nice with a great view and the only thing I didn’t like was that I had requested the water to be refilled each day because we don’t drink Soda and I had to call each day because they didn’t refill the water. At Sandals Antigua they sent me ample water each day.Other companies give you a large bottle and have refilling stations all over, they didn’t. I would think They’d like the guest that didn’t drink alcohol all day. Everything is included so that was surprising. There were 5 bugs we killed in the room which surprised me because it was on the fourth floor. I know it’s the Caribbean, but maybe they need to spray more. We had a nice time. I’ve been to Bahamas twice, Antigua twice, and Grenada. If you change anything, don’t let the butlers take every hut on the beach. Antigua was my favorite so far.
1st and foremost, its very nice to have all you can eat and drink. Food was great in every restaurant. There was no actual Bahamian food. It says it is but it just as plain as you can get in the states. The music playlist is from the early 2000s and I i think I heard Bob Marley as the only Caribbean music. If you want to do any excursions, better to do it with getyourguide or somewhere else as they upcharge a ridiculous amount. All staff were very helpful and nice.
Needs Improvement
The food is Horrible!!! Need more luxury shops for clothes and shoes. The resort is in need of renovations
The staff was amazing!!! Would highly recommend staying at any and all sandals resorts.
Would rate our stay a 9.5 The staff is amazing and a beautiful resort.
The resort was wonderful, relaxing and we had so much fun on our anniversary.
Food service was horrible. Everything else was amazing!!!!
Finally got it in❤️
My overall stay was great. A bit short but memorable. Got my room upgraded cos i believe i had paid for another suite. Food service was geeat.. didn't get to attend the japanese steak house but wud do another time
Did not like shower with one glass door. Enjoyed entertainment. Restaurants closed too soon.
Decent trip overall. Price point is high for what you’re getting, preferred our trip to Sandals Grande St Lucia. Service needs to be improved at this location, phoned multiple times to get bathroom refreshed and no one would come. Had to go the last morning with a couple of toilet paper squares since no one would give us more toilet paper.
i was turned away at check in because i was recently separated from my wife before getting there and was told i could not be there alone
Overall the stay met expectations. The food was average to very good. The main pool was heated, which was a plus because it got chilly at times. The off shore island was beautiful, but due to weather conditions we were diverted to a bus and then a choppy boat ride- took over an hour to get there, and then they closed up early- the last shuttle was listed as 4 pm but they made everyone leave at 3:30. To top it off, there was only one small bus waiting to take us back to the resort- hotel guests were stuck waiting with the rest of the staff who hadn’t grabbed seats on the first bus! When a guest asked a staff member why the island was closing up early he shrugged and said “well sometimes it rains”. It was not raining and did not rain that evening… The hallway carpet in the hotel smelled awful. The rooms were clean. It was noisy due to construction at the resort. Also staff was very loud in the hallways in the mornings.
The highlight of the property was the private island, which was a wonderfully relaxed and calm place to visit. The overall highlight of the holiday was the quality of the service and hospitality. Absolutely everyone on the staff presented a sunny and helpful attitude making it almost unique in our experience. Amongst a universally excellent team, special mentions have to go to - Selina in customer relations Nichola and Logesh butler services Nicole on the beach Joel on the island Alejandro (sic?) in water sports. Our first sandals experience, but will not be our last
Excellent property. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious and plentiful food and drink options.
Was a great place ! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful all week.
food was limited. No buffet,
Great location and excellent service
Incredibly attentive and helpful staff which made the holiday even more enjoyable. Everything was accommodated including providing a temp room to change in on last day after checkout because flight was not until late evening.
In 39 years of travel, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I would suggest staying anywhere else. Waste of time and money.
Trying to sell us on everything from pictures to future stays. Was too much soliciting. Beach was not great on property. Best experience was private island. Staff seemed very disorganized and unmotivated. Service was spotty at best.
Liked the excellent service, choice of restaurants, cleanliness, comfortable beds, spaciousness, 'all-in' vacation, choice of pools. Meet and greet service. Transport to airport. Didn't like? Lack of toilet provision in open areas. No sun loungers available for those with mobility issues. At times, the loud music. Overall it was excellent
good
My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were escorted to our room by our own private Butler. The room was decorated with roses, balloons and champagne. The butlers were amazing set up cooler by beach/pool each morning based on our choice where we wanted to spend day. Throughout the day they would callus on private phone they privided us with just to see if we needed anything. I would definitely return to one of their other properties to stay again.
We booked this place for a week for our honeymoon, this was our first Sandals experience and it felt more like a cheap Mexico resort to be honest. It was very disappointing, expensive and we would never go back. The pros: the island is really the only great thing about this place. Overall the food at the resort was decent, nothing really stood out. We went to every restaurant. Most of the staff was friendly. The cons: our hallway to our room was absolutely disgusting our entire trip. There were many leaks during our time, at one point there was 9 holes in the walls (fixing leaks), we had puddles of water that we walked through in our hallway many times, they just let the water sit and air dry so I’m sure there’s mold all over this place, it smelled so gross we dreaded going to our room, at one point someone set a plate of eggs down on the grass at the resort and no one picked them up our entire 7 day trip, the island was shut down multiple days, the bartenders don’t know how to make drinks, the ratios were terrible besides 1 person who we tried to do most of our drink ordering through. The entertainment at night was just disappointing. There was no night life. If I could do it all over again, we wish we wouldn’t have booked this place. It was so expensive and a complete waste of money.
I was really excited for my stay at Sandals Royal Bahamian to celebrate my 20 year anniversary. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the experience I feel I should have had based on what I paid. There are pros and cons to this visit. The Pro’s - the employees are very polite and smiling all the time. Food options are good and better than most all inclusives I have been to. Activities at the fun pool were great and a good time. The Sandals island beach was great with a great setup. Cons - when I arrived I asked at the front desk if I was able to upgrade to an ocean view room and that I understand I would have to pay the difference. The room wasn’t available through Travelocity but sandals customer service said there was a room available and I would have to ask for it at check in. The person checking me in said they would let me know about the room and then never called or got back to me. There was a room that must have had a bad plumbing leak that caused the entire hallway area by our door to be soaked. Every time we came and went from our room it smelt and we had to walk in a saturated carpet. We had dinner at LaPlume and when we arrived the dining area was extremely hot. We asked the server and she said yes it is hot and the AC must not have been working. We were assuming that it would come back on soon but I didn’t. So we had to be in formal clothes (long pants for men) and had sweat dripping down our faces while we ate.
Very lush and clean. Able to take walks.
Great resort
We were very disappointed in our stay at Sandals Royal Bahamian resort. 1 of the 2 rooms we booked was awful. The air conditioning was leaking the entire time we were there and the shower was only providing scolding hot water. We asked several times for both to be fixed. It took them two days to fix the water issue and they never fixed the air conditioner leak. The day before we left, the scolding hot water was back. So, technically, they never fixed it. We were not provided to move to other rooms or to be upgraded due to our issues or even money back. Additionally, my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and were supposed to have something special done for us in our room. They screwed that up as well by delivering the surprise to the wrong room. That was never rectified either. Based on this, we will likely never stay at another Sandals resort. The only thing good about the stay was the fabulous beaches and water, and the very nice Bahamian people.
Had a wonderful experience! ALL of the staff provided amazing service!
Our stay was excellent. Would recommend Bahamian Sandal.
It was great
The best thing about Sandals Royal Bahamian was the staff. Mickey at Butch's Chophouse made my birthday dinner INCREDIBLY special (one I will never forget) and brought the whole staff out to sing to me and bring a special cake. Rio was our photographer who was incredibly generous with his time and made us feel very comfortable while he posed and worked with us. His photography skills were amazing too! Finally, Prince served our private candle-lit dinner at the beach. He was so charming and funny. We are so thankful for all of the staff and service members who made our time at Sandals so fun and memorable.
SANDALS was wonderful staff was great
My wife and I had a phenomenal experience here. The service was fantastic, the entertainment and restaurants were top notch, and because the resort is couples only, it is very romantic and a great for a honeymoon or couple’s getaway.
Sandals was top resort. Everything food staff everyone there was good. Top top. I’ll go again.
Loved the trip
The staff were all super friendly and attentive. Especially Dior and the bartenders at Coconut Grove bar: Vincente, LJ, Major, Shanda, Tino, Terry, Crystal, Mark, Chutkan and Tino. They were a lot of fun and made excellent drinks for everyone!
Staff was very service-oriented. It made everything care-free and comfortable. Wonderful place.
Great vacation. You have to wake up early in the morning to find an umbrella on the beach, which was a bummer. Definitely need more umbrellas on the beach. You may want to look into getting a butler, who would reserve an umbrella for you. Don’t know how much more you would have to pay for it but if reasonable, definitely worth it.
If someone asks me the pros & cons, I would say this property is all about PROS & NO CONS. The staff is super friendly. Everyone has a million-dollar smile on their face—so many food choices. If you are vegetarian, you don't have to think twice if you will get vegetarian food. Just make sure some of the restaurants need a reservation. Look at the restaurant list before you leave & as soon as you get there, make reservations. Don't forget to go to the small island, also part of Sandals. It's about five minutes ferry ride & the island is beautiful and grand for quite a time. To summarize, if you plan to go to this resort, don't think twice; you'll enjoy every moment.
Great courtyards, pool area and beach area.
Always a great place to stay and forget all the stresses of home. Nothing to do but enjoy and relax. Next to the beautiful waters, staff very friendly and professional!! Only caveat if deciding to venture out to nearby areas via taxi, fares very arbitrary. Best to pre-arrange rides.
I loved the property and also the private island they have. The entertainment they had at night was good except for when they do the headphone nights and you listen through headphones and if you don’t have headphones their is no music. We hated those nights and there was 2 of them. They seemed to be a little understaffed as the restaurants were a little slow.
The property was clean & well maintained.
Overall great experience
Best of everything. Relax, fun in the sun, and night excitement full of entertainment. Love it!
You’re on a vacation the moment you arrive at the Sandals airport desk. They take care of your suitcases and receive you with champagne at the hotel. The room was spacious and the dining options were very good. We enjoyed the private island very much.
Beautiful beaches.
We had the best vacation at this absolutely gorgeous resort! Our butler’s Lushano, Darmondo and Shanelle went above and beyond to accommodate our whole family! They were ano helpfully and so nice! Every single staff member we encountered were so nice and welcoming! The food is absolutely phenomenal at every single place! We can not wait to go back!
Had a great time.
great place to visit. would definetly visit this resort and other sandals again
All the staff were great for the most part some that stood out were the Piano Bar Bartenders, especially “happy” when he was not there Thursday people would aske for him and when they were told he was not there they would leave. He is great with people, has a great personality and someone can explain a drink to him and he can make it. The other young lady, I can’t think of her name, had been there a short time was also awesome with a great personality. Carlton the Bar manager was great and we seen him at different places all day helping out and making sure the bars had what they needed. There was Female Bar Manager, the night of the 24th, that was the most un-professional of any of the staff we encountered our entire trip. She was not concerned about what the bartenders needed but upset about people leaving the pool and dropping glasses off at piano bar. When the bartender tried to take them out she made her return them to the piano bar. All in front of patrons at the bar. Two hours before we left Dante, from loyalty and travel, found us by the pool and explained to us how the process worked to book another stay without actually locking in a specific date. Without him doing this we would not have scheduled one, because of our changing schedules. On our way out we were fortunate enough to talk to Ricky Ricardo and he was one of the nicest people we met here, that is saying a lot. He was a wealth of knowledge about the island and solidified our decision to come back.
My wife and I went for our 5th year anniversary. Overall we enjoyed Everything! The food and the entertainment were top notch. The Staff was great. Everyone went out of the way to make sure you had everything you wanted, needed. I would highly recommend this property. Couldn’t have wished for a better anniversary trip. Thank you Sandals
limited tours of island
Pros: The resort and room were very pretty and clean. The staff was extremely friendly/helpful. The grounds are lovely to stroll and felt safe, with a clear division of “party side” and “quiet side.” The heated pools with swim up bars were fun and it was fairly easy to find lounge chairs despite so many being pre-reserved. There were lots of small games/activities throughout. The transfer from the airport was seamless and checkin/checkout was easy. The view of the ocean was beautiful and the beach was well kept. Cons: our mattress was super hard. My husband and I are young but we both woke up stiff and unrested each morning. By the end of our short stay our backs and hips were killing us. No idea how the older guests survive! The all-inclusive meals were very disappointing; we tried every eatery at least once and the food was generally mediocre and bland. Most of the alcoholic drinks we requested were watery or lacking because the bars were out of common ingredients. I wish there’d been a written chart as to which restaurants required reservation or formal dress, only served dinner, etc. as I had to constantly refer to the website to plan each meal. The shower water was clear but smelled strongly like sulphur, recycled maybe? The TV options and signal were awful, we rented a movie and it took nearly 2x the runtime to get through it due to constant buffering. Maybe our expectations were too high but this was our first “luxury” trip and not what we were hoping for.
Overall very good resort. Staff is friendly and food was decent The island is probably its best feature and I knew nothing about before the trip
Not the experience we were expecting. Long check in process, luggage took hours to get to the room and tried to extend stay and followed up 3-4x without definitive answer. Requested beverages to the room 2x and didn’t get anything delivered. Drinks at the bar were subpar. Got a card for a complementary photo shoot for a date after departure. Then upon check out our luggage was misplaced which held up the shuttle to the airport. Overall experience wasn’t anything special.
We had a fabulous time at Sandals Royal Bahamian. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds were lush and beautifully maintained. The gym was very impressive.
Loved the food and the music lover options like sing along, piano bar. also liked the other activities. Didn't like the boat to the island being cancelled several days nor the long process to get a shuttle to the island when it WAS open.
The staff overall were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and plentiful. There was jack hammering on the property which did take away from the experience to some extent.
Staff amazing, Dinners were fantastic, Property was clean and safe,
For as much as we spent on a room/all inclusive. Not all that impressed. There were ants in the bathroom. We were pretty underwhelmed by the bathtub/shower combination. More like bathtub/shower you’d see in a typical hotel stay anywhere. The toilet did not flush when we first got there (had to reconnect the chain so it would flush). The floor/carpet was filthy. I had to clean my feet before getting into bed every night. Housekeeping just couldn’t get it together. They kept forgetting to re-stock hand towels, wash cloths and kleenex. On a more serious note, my husband got food poisoning from eating at the Soy restaurant. His entire birthday was spent with frequent trips to the bathroom. We did tell several staff members that didn’t really seem all that concerned or surprised. Thank goodness he starting feeling better after a full day. However, it wasn’t all bad. There was a lot to love. The resort itself was beautiful and there were multiple places to eat. We loved the Gordon’s on the Pier and the private island. We met lots of amazing people and made alot of great memories.
This property is awesome. The rooms and property are clean. The staff is great.
I loved the culture and number of activities to do on and off the resort! The island view was phenomenal as well and great food! Will visit again!
Property was very nice Experience getting there and when we arrived was horrific ! Expedia never put thru our booking!!!
Food was average. Alcohol choices were poor. The resort was clean and beautiful, but old. I’ve had more for less as far as food and drinks go at other resorts. We won’t be staying Sandals again.
Shower cold
The room was not up to par, very dated. The overall resort was subpar at best, old and outdated. Beach was not as beautiful as the pictures portray. Difficult to get to the island, staff was not all very friendly as you can tell when it is all inclusive and they cannot accept tips they tend to act different and are not as friendly. Bell man picked up our luggage at departure and did not have it at the expected area where we were to be picked up bu the taxi so we had to wait a half an hour for them to bring it back, very frustrating. Although they did cover the cost for the taxi ride to Baha Mar.
Our housekeeper didn’t clean our room but overall it was fun
To many pool chairs taken by the butler service and then not being used by the guest, while other guests were left with no chairs to use around the pool.
