Excellent location, nice and clean. Friendly personnel . Quality breakfast. I would definitely come back in my next trip
Awesome
Great service, great location, awesome free breakfast, free reliable internet, within 10 min of walking distance to Larcomar.
Friendly staff
We had an amazing stay. The staff is very friendly. Special thanks to Nancy, she made sure our rooms were ready and that we had a nice stay at San Agustin hotel
Nice property in convenient Miraflores area. The staff was great! They changed money for me and even helped me get an Uber when I could not download the app. They have a GREAT breakfast too! My room(s) were freezing cold, however as they don't heat the hotels. And, the beds were a little too firm for me. Otherwise, it was a great experience and I'd stay there again and recommend this San Agustin Exclusive hotel.
The hotel was very clean. The breakfast served was very good and had both Latin American dishes and North American classics. The staff were helpful and many of them spoke English.
Staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was really good. I found the layout of the bathroom a little difficult as I had to go under the sink to sit on the toilet.
Location, fast check inn, nice breakfast
right price right location
It was what I expected.
Wonderful place
I like the place, decoration, staff, the breakfast, good location too. I will be back again.
First time in this property, the proximity to everything the Miraflores district has to offer is quite unique.
Great location. Ceviche/ seafood restaurants across the street, anything you want within waking distance. Free breakfast, left a lot to be desired considering all the great places to go eat. Clean, older hotel, very quiet, peaceful in the middle of everything.
Room were super clean. Miraflores is a nice area.
Customer Service is not good.
The hotel was mid range on the comfort level. The beds are pretty hard and take some getting used to and the sheets are like sand paper, all of which I could excuse if the customer service had been up to par. I stayed there for 3 nights and definitely had some issues. My check in was a full 2 hours after the time stated on Hotels.com, a room service order for coffee was completely forgotten about, my wake up call that I requested 3 times did not happen, and I was woken up the night before I was scheduled to leave by a "your transfer is here" call. That happened before my scheduled wake up call, so clearly if they had been paying attention, they would have known I was not leaving at midnight. Just not a very good experience at all and I'll be letting the tour operator that booked us here know.
Great location, GREAT food, free wifi, close to shopping centers and restaurants, free breakfast, great rate.
The hotel is conveniently located. The bathrooms are nice. Linens are very pleasant.
their location is in the middle of the shopping and restaurant areas of Miraflores
Stayed at the hotel with a tour group and several others had issues with their rooms, not just me. Only one light bulb in the room worked (excluding bathroom lights), tv remote didn’t work, despite trying everything I could not get the water to come out of the shower head.
Perfectly situated in Mira Flores. It was as nice a hotel as you will find in Peru. Clean, safe, near a small market and within blocks of the Pacific Ocean. Nice easy walk anywhere there.
Hotel lobby area nice. Rooms okay a bit worn. Staff friendly helpful. Buffet breakfast had a large selection but seems items may have been out for while.
Hotel and staff were great, walking distance to all amenities and great restaurants.
Location and helpful staff....would recommend this hotel
Staff was very helpful and some spoke English. Location was perfect with Tourist Indformation office 2 minutes’ walk, banks, restaurants, and the ocean was just a 10-minute walk away.
San Agustin Exclusive Hotel review
The check in was prompt. The room was clean and spacious. The room was on the third floor facing the street so it was a bit noisy. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly but needed to improve their English if the hotel wants to attract more English speaking tourists. The breakfast was very good with enough varieties. The location was quite central within walking distance to the beaches and other major attractions like Kennedy Park. Overall it was a very pleasant stay for us.
Loved the location in the heart of Miraflores , close to great food, entertainment .
Good hotel
Good hotel clean & good location
Great service-every one so helpful. Location safe but could use more local flavor- the area is one of high end conds, stores and apartments.
Very Yummy Breakfast!
Be ready to buy water
The staff was friendly & they had s great breakfast, but the road noise could be loud. Free bottled water, @ least for brushing your teeth would have been aapreciated. Nice walking vacation to the beach.
Uncomfortable bed, to noisy. Definetly, not what I expected
Good location and breakfast
Good location and breakfast
It is a good place to stay for a reasonable price. The facilities could improve; needs some ventilation.
Comfortable and great location. Overall friendly and helpful staff.
Fantastic staff! They helped me with every possible enquiry. Looked after me very well. Highly reccomend to stay here bathrooms are very good. And housekeeping is on point. 👌👌👌 highly reccomended hotel.
Modernisation needed.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was a little on the small side with a very small wardrobe. The breakfast was adequate and overall an update on the property wouldn't go a miss. The staff however were pleasant and helpful.
Good hotel shame about the mis-leading info.
Hotel was in a good location, comfortable and breakfast was OK though not a great choice of hot food but this seems the norm in many Peruvian hotels. Hotel was busy so lots of coming & going at all hours. Good, safe area. Main let-down was that there was not an airport shuttle service provided to or from the airport & nobody waiting at the airport on my arrival as I requested!, unlike a cheaper hotel I used in Peru. The details state "airport shuttle service" - If you stay at this hotel you will have to add onto the price a taxi to & from the airport. The staff on the whole were quite helpful & some bi-lingual. I would unfortunately not stay here again because of the false "airport shuttle provided" - this needs to be removed from the hotel details as it is inaccurate & /or mis-leading.
Very good location, very good breakfast, problem with wi-fi
Good place to stay
Convenient hotel with good shower and nice room
Plain is good
Not high style or “hip” but very clean with good sevice in good location On of best breakfasts i’ve had in South America
Good access to Kennedy park and the coast views.
Clean, well appointed rooms. Good location, safe neighborhood, access to shops and restaurants.
Exceeded expectation
I was not expecting the quality of accommodation, on all fronts. It was a wonderful place to rest and relax and was within walking distance to a beautiful park, a shopping mall, and the beach. Would definitely book here again.
They were not organized at all and they could not find a reservation for a long time went back three times
Very disorganized.
Took over 1/2 hour to find our reservation. Good central location. Breakfast wasn’t very good
Excellent place to stay
A very friendly and helpful staff group, great location, very comfortable bed and pillows, quiet - thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast especially - so much choice to cater for global travelers.
This is a good hotel, the wifi works great and the breakfast bar is fantastic. Would stay here again.
Loud and bad hotel
I stayed here in the past and it was loud. There was a good deal on expedia so I thought I'd try again. This place is awful. Loud street noise all night. Throngs of package tourists getting ready to leave for Cusco wake you at 6 am. The welcome drink is a joke, had to be a pisco.sour and wouldn't give me a water. Overpriced taxi pick up from the airport.. Twice what it should be. This place is awful, got one hour of sleep. Bathroom was dirty, shower scalding hot and couldn't use it. Lame place to be avoided at all cost.
breakfast is no. 1
Staff is friendly and wonderful. Excellent breakfast. Local area very convenient and restaurants coffee places and parks very near and even the beach
A good place to stay exploring Lima
The Hotel San Antonio Exclusive is excellently located on a quiet side street in central Miraflores between the Kennedy Park and the Barranco. The reception area looks very fancy compared to the small rooms with old furniture. The breakfast is ok.
Lovely kind stay
Our stay was lovely and they let us extend our visit by another day due to flooding in Lima. Thankful for such kind staff. Visiting from the USA
As expected
Service was as expected. Bathroom was really small. Breakfast was really good.
Miraflores, where the hotel is located is a long way from the airport and from the attractions of downtown Lima but it is a very pleasant area with numerous nearby restaurants. Breakfast was good with a wide range of hot and cold items. Front desk and concierge staff were always pleasant and helpful. Rather than hailing a taxi on the street, it was far better to have the hotel call a hire car and driver. The cost was comparable to a taxi and inexpensive and the vehicles were better. On two trips I arranged for the drivers to pick me up several hours later to return to the hotel and both times they were prompt.
the air condition and the internet was no working
was bad experience because the air condition and the internet was no working . i am traveling for business and i need to keep communication with my customers . the room service menu is very little
Convenient to main plazas etc
Used the hotel 3 times in two weeks. Total of 5 days. Would use it again.
Good experience at the hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Close to shopping, waterfront, restaurants
Good hotel, but had hot water problems for a short time, but were rectified quickly.
It was great!
great introduction to Peru
Ideal hotel and friendly folk. only point for improvement is that Lounge/bar area needs more comfort.
Good Place to stay near things
Was good. Hotel though needs a bit of an upgrade but all good..
Nice hotel helpful staff good food clean and tidy rooms close to beech and centre of mirflores
Room is nice compare with hotels in the same area, price is good we pay $82 . Breakfast is very good, water is hot, service people are nice, we like it .
Hasnt change since my last stay 5 years ago
My stay on May 31st was kind of bad, I booked a room with king size bed but when I arrived I was in a twin bed room which I claimed immediately with lobby staff. The room was given to my partner who arrived earlier than me that day and the staff at counter saw the printed reservation details but said the only room available was a twin bed one. When I went to the lobby with another staff member, I told her there is no reason to downgrade a guess, that is just plain stupid. She agreed and upgraded us to a Junior Suite which are the only ones with king size beds but expedia showed standard rooms with king size beds which the hotel doesnt have. Then came the problem with the toilet not flushing, the shower you had to be an expert to calibrate hot and cold water, 1 inch less it would go dead cold and 1 inch more would go insanely hot. Breakfast is ok, has lots to choose from but not lots like a 5 star hotel, still enjoyable.
Friendly and helpful staff, nice hotal in a good location at a reasonable price
Hotel near central point of modern Miraflores area
Staff excellent, friendly and helpful. Good practice for my Spanish. Close to good-excellent restaurants. Safe and convenient area.
Nice neighborhood
Great safe place to walk around at night
Centrally located yet quiet.
Our (party of two) stay was for two nights at different times while in transit. Registration was handled efficiently and we were provided with complimentary drinks. Our porter was very friendly and spoke very good English, as did the desk staff.
A great stop over hotel.
A great stop over hotel. Wonderful bathroom! Nice breakfast.
Used for business meetings. Great location, safe
Quiet street, safe Stayed 3 days, staff helpfull, great breakfast,I could acomodate visitors as well Nice decoration, very clean, Twin room excelent Only disappointed thing the hair dryer very old ,and no iron ;however could use the laundry service Larcomar shopping and restaurants close by ,as well as several museums Inka market by waking distance.
Decent place at Prime location in Lima
It was a comfortable stay, good service and great location in safe and happening Miraflores district in Lima.
Not for a quick overnight stay if departing early
Not the place to stay if you are arriving very late (early hours of the morning) - or leaving very early. Whilst the hotel is not a million miles from the airport, it may as well be. Over an hour at 3am to get to the hotel with minimal traffic. The staff are friendly and try to assist (but if you speak Spanish you will find it more helpful). The hotel is somewhat tired and positioned rather down a back street, We had a not so delightful view. The rooms we had was perfectly adequate for Lima (if a little overpriced). Good size, scrupulously clean. Adequate bathroom - again scrupulously clean. If you want to make the most of the included breakfast, get there early.
Not Happy
My last night at the hotel...there was a huge problem...no water coming out of the bathroom sink and bathtub. It went on until in the morning around 5 am. There was a sound/noise somewhere coming from I don't know where but I could not sleep because of the noise. The bathroom smells a little bit. No sources in the lobby of what to do things in the area
excellent location in a safety area
very satisfied with the staff hospitality and the food service
Don ArturoVegas
I stayed for two days at this hotel. This is very good located hotel in the middle of Miraflores district of Lima. I would like recommend this place.
Convenient
The hotel staff is very helpful, rooms need some bit of improvement for heaters during winter. Good location near to good restaurants
Excellent neighborhood
The best location for a good price
120 USD to have used toilet paper in a basket next
The title sums the experience. I am prepared , and have put up with. sitting next to a basket full of soiled toiled paper - but not in a big town, nor anywhere near this price category. But the experience started before I got the room. The bleek outside augered the dismal reception area with stone faced staff. Had I not paid in advance, I would have made a u-turn immediately. The room was also gloomy and the sound insulation was terrible so the 1st night we hardly got any sleep. The bar would only have attendance after you walked around asking staff to send somebody. The breakfast was in a (you guessed) gloomy lit room and was commensurate with the rest of the experience. HEAVILY OVERPRICED PLACE for the quality and state of the establishment and the impersonal staff. I would not return even if it were for free.
fair
I was not impressed with the hotel. It was a fair stay, not a first choice for me at all.
Good enough without pretensions
Quiet, clean, well located, nice breakfast buffet, superb "lomo saltado"
Terrible
Awful
GREAT HOTEL
This stay was a GREAT one. The girls at the desk were very HELPFUL. I didn't speak much spanish and needed them to translate for me and they had no problem helping.. They were very friendly. The men at the door were also very HELPFUL and everytime I left and came back to the hotel they ALWAYS greeted me. This is a NICE, HELPFUL and BEAUTIFUL Hotel and yes I will tell everyone what a great stay I had here..
No problems here
Just spent the one night here after flying into Lima from the UK. No problems whatsoever - clean room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast, helpful staff. And complimentary pisco sour each on arrival.
NOT 4 STARS??
WE MADE A CLEAR BOOKING FOR 2 ADULTS AND A CHILD OF 8.AFTER WAITING FOR 1/2 HOUR TO GET TO THE ROOM,EVEN THOUGH WE WERE THERE AFTER CHECK IN TIME,WE WERE GIVEN A ROOM WITH 2 SINGLE BEDS.IT TOOK ANOTHER 45MIN. TO GIVE US AN APPROPRIATE ROOM.BATHROOM HAS MILDEW GROWING ON THE CEILING,FLOOR IS WOBBLY DUE TO HUMIDITY DAMAGE,AND THERE IS NO VIEW FROM THE ROOM.THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL WITH THE EARLY BREAKFAST.SURELY NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!!
Definitely not a four star hotel.
This hotel was featured as "Expedia Pick" and it was listed as a four star. I would disagree. Although the location is quite convenient, the hotel lobby did not look presentable, there was no internet on the 7th floor where I stayed, plus it was cold in the room and the heating did not work. When I told personnel about the issues I am having - they told me they will try to fix them but nothing happened. I regret staying there for three nights and feel like I could have either stayed in the better place for the money, or paid a little more for a better hotel. I would say its a two star hotel and would not recommend anyone staying there given other options.
A month in Miraflores/Lima at a nice hotel
I stated at this hotel for a month in May. I was concerned about how much I would spend and found this hotel reasonable. My room was not big but it was adequate. Most importantly, it was near everything. The free breakfast was pretty good. It took a while for them to figure out a room for me with the best Internet service but once we did that it was good. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. The front desk staff were really nice and helpful!
So so
Excellent location, clean room but too small, weak breakfast same food all week long
Pros: -This hotel was at a central location in Miraflores so moving around by foot was easy and convenient just off the main Avenue. - The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke English. - Great water pressure for hot shower - Good Buffet Breakfast - Safety box in room along with fridge Cons:- - The room itself was small and had a strange smell. The wooden floor didnt have a clean feel and after walking around with a wet towel under my feet, I was able to confirm this. - Room didnt have any bath towels when we arrived and I had to call twice to get towels - Shower floor was grimy. - SECURITY ALERT:- I was disappointed to see that a fax that was delivered to me to my room had the personal credit card details of another guest ( the pages had been recycled). AND that they gave out room numbers to any callers. I trust that my review would allow the Management to easily address their security and housekeeping issues as the hotel is comfortable and in a convenient location.
Good location / small rooms /
The people were nice and service prompt but the A/C did not work (they set the temp), 110 V outlets did not work / and bed was very uncomfortable.
A room full of mildew ... NOT very nice.
The hotel appears nice and the restaurant is okay. But the room was full of mold / mildew, which we did not expect from a 4* hotel. [...] (the taxi ride was US$18.-)I travel approx. 80 days/nights per year and stay in MANY different hotels around the World. The San Agustin Exclusive in Miraflores did NOT make it onto my list of favorites. In comparison, the San Agustin Eldorado in Cusco, Peru is quite nice and much better value.
Close to restaurants, stores.
Excelente.
The service of the people was great, Specially the front desk girls. They work 24hrs, They make lunch bags if you have to go to a trip at dawn. Right in front there are 2 sea food restaurants, and a tourist information center (very helpful). Its close the main street and stores of Miraflores and the rooms and bathroom are very great. Something we didnt like was that at night or evening you hear all the street noises, perhaps they could instal anti-noise windows. Other than that, excellent stay!
