The view off our 4th floor apartment was amazing!

Pleasant staff at check-in, large apartment with reasonable facilities, nice view, comfortable bed. However, IMHO not up to scratch for almost $300/night. Stained carpets & table, marked tiles, no tissues, cotton buds or even a biscuit with coffee, no instructions on tv or garbage disposal. A little disappointing and poor value for money.

The Salt Apartments are well located and convenient to everything. The layout of the apartment was good although I always find it strange when there is no door on the toilet.

The one bedroom unit was lovely and very spacious but there was a lingering smell of disinfectant that we couldn't get rid of.

Nice apartments located very close to restaurants, shops and the main beach. Has secured underground parking (2.3m height restriction). Good location to be based for day trips to different beaches etc. Would stay again.

Everything was great except for the bright light that shone through the window straight into our wyes while we were trying to sleep! Very disappointed.

Great holiday stay. Awesome location.

Clean and tidy. Check in a bit long winded. Why have staff in reception if we have to do our own check in. There was a pool but no towels so ended up with wet bath towels. A few things they need to consider

Right in the middle of town near by all the action Great pool space and good water view from room Arvo sea breeze with balcony door open beats the aircon every time

Great location

Very easy being there and worth the bit extra for the view from the fourth floor. Only issues, and this one will sound funny, there is absolutely no where to put anything in the shower. No soap holder, or shelf. Also no salt and pepper, no coffee press, so you do have to have all your supplies. But the million dollar view is worth having to go to Vinnies and Woolies to buy a couple of things to make life more comfortable.

Lovely apartment, bedroom carpet could use a steam clean but otherwise a beautiful room. Comfortable bed and very spacious shower.

This apartment complex is extremely well located. Short walk to the public bus that serves both Rockhampton Airport and the Marina to get to Keppel Island (Which is spectacular). It is also a short walk to the Lagoon beachfront public pool which is as grand as any 5-Star hotel. The apartment itself is extremely well appointed with quality appliances and amenities. The staff are extremely friendly and considerate. Highly recommend for singles/families visiting Yeppoon.

Great place overlooking the beach front and close to shopping and super markets. Modern units with everything you need. Also undercover parking. We were running late so rang them and they gave us a code to access the cards to get in.

High end apartment with everything you need

A beautiful apartment with side view to the water. The apartment was extremely modern with washing machine and dryer within the apartment. Did not need to use the car during our stay given the proximity of all attractions and dining options.

The room design is bad. No door on bathroom or toilet . Its really a bedsit not a one bedroom apartment. View was not sea view as advertised. Its was sea glimpses .shower has no soap holder or ledge of any kind for soaps or shampoos etc.

Always enjoy my stay…Loved the beautifully appointed room, the bed and pillows etc. 5 star for everything except the parking. Some of the spaces are extremely difficult to access if the car park is full. Particularly if there are long tradie utes that make turning even harder.

Very Disappointed

The receptionist was very difficult to understand. When we entered the room we found it difficult to breath the air from the musty, mould like smell coming out of air conditioning. Asked receptionist about it and requested service to bring up something to freshen room and no one came. We put up with the discomforting smell for our stay, which was very I pleasant. Was informed only 1 week before stay and after the no refundable period had passed, that there would be works being carried out on surrounding rooms. We arrived at 2 pm and had to leave the room and sit in a nearby park until 5 pm as the Jack hammer was too much to bear. We were told the works would only be on the day we arrived but we heard and seen tradesmen working for the next two days. Very disappointed for a high end hotel!!

apartments were convenient

The room we stayed in had a terrible musty smell and as there was no reception open I could not ask for something do be done. This meant we had to sleep with the balcony door open and no air conditioning on at it was an extremely humid night which meant poor sleep. Location very good though.

While the staff were very helpful, our holiday was marred by two days of construction noise. We were not advised of the renovation works and we were not offered alternative accommodation. So much for the quiet holiday by the sea which had been keenly anticipated!

Sadly my experience at Salt was sub par. Issues with check-in, room key / fob that didn’t work. Broken toilet, towel racks & air conditioning units that played up. The property needs some love.

Over all it was a pretty good stay. Just a few things. Main aircon in the living room was on its way out and not that cold. Half of Yeppoons places to eat were shut for Christmas break, or booked out. The most concerning part was the fire exit door out onto the main ground level was locked. Not very safe at all.

Top location beautiful view

I liked everything! Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, beautiful view. Within walking distance of town, dining areas and beach. Truly a home away from home.

Was nice and easy

Great location, beach views, shopping and good restaurants near by. The apartments are spacious and very very clean. Two pools just a great place to stay in.

Beautiful views, clean 3 bedroom apartment. Very quiet rooms. Staff were awesome on one night having a guest sleep (no drink driving.) I did have cockroaches in main shower stall that must live under the square drains. Definitely not an easy place to poison roaches. However that is nature it did not stop the relaxing. Gorgeous views.

What we loved about the property was the view from our room, the space inside. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean

Checked in after hours but we were left an envelope in a security box with instructions that were easy to understand. We really enjoyed our stay just wish it was a little longer.

Outstanding in all regards: wonderful apartment, large, very clean, well decorated, and very handy to everything in central Yeppoon. The staff called us to provide arrival instructions on the day we were due to arrive, and they gave us a mid-week housekeeping service. Vue restaurant on the ground floor of the building is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in Yeppoon, and the only one of the up-market waterfront restaurants that is worth the money. The accommodation was not cheap, but it wasn't super-expensive either, and provided excellent value for money.

The apartment was large and clean with excellent amenities. The beach was across the road and easy acess to shops and restaurants.

This property is beautifully located and the 2 br apartments are spacious and well appointed. Reception and staff are very welcoming and made our stay even more enjoyable.

👍 - Location is very good. Friendly staff. Spacious one bedroom apartment. Ocean facing rooms. 👎 - Musky smelling room. Cigarette smoke into apartment from nearby balconies. Non smoking rooms not applicable. Wear n tear requires attention.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Lovely pool area, easy walk to lagoon, restaurants & shops.

Overall, our visit was lovely. However our room smelt terribly musty and mouldy.

Awesome couple of days great location and accommodation

Great location and very well equipped apartment. The only down side was two deliveries by refrigerated trucks, one at 6am and one at 7am both loud and woke us up. As the restaurant’s they were delivering to are part of the complex perhaps they could arrange deliveries that don’t wake the guests.

Reception staff Caitlyn at the desk was very helpful and accommodating, apartment was presented very nice.

Tv in bedroom had no remote

The only thing we were disappointed with was the bed. The mattress wasn't very comfortable as we kept rolling into the middle.

Great spot, perfect for walking to lagoon and water park with kids. Clean, modern apartment.

Extremely convenient location.

Was very good as to position close to restaurants, beach,shops etc, unit we had was good nice views however did not like the wardrobe in the bathroom could not access the power points in the bedroom as the bed covered them and the exaust fan in the bathroom was useless as everything still fogged up with it on. Not major problems but overall good.

great place to stay

One of my favourites 4th stay we have had there 👍 great view,next to beach restaurants etc👍

The room facilities and view were great. But all the art works on the walls were teeming with mould, which made the room smell musty. There was a strong smell of disinfectant in the room when we arrived, so didn’t notice the mould at first. But when we got back from dinner it was awful. The paintings were fixed to the walls, so we couldn’t even put them on the balcony overnight. I know it is hard to get rid of mould. But I feel this issue was fairly obvious and should have been dealt with.

This property is exceptional in a great location.

The view was amazing and the quality of everything in the unit was top.

We enjoyed an ocean facing apartment for three nights. The view was lovely, the apartment huge and clean. Local shops, cafe’s and restaurants all within east walking distance.

Parking was not great car parks too cramped especially when the next car parks in your space as well and there is nowhere else you can park. The car park we had was too cramped to take our car had to park between posts. Unit was great

Good position and nice views of the coastline. Busy restaurant below but no noise in unit. Excellent sound insulation. Friendly helpful staff. Easy underground parking. I would gladly go there again.

Location was excellent. Facilities were good, but little things like not shelf in shower, no where to hang a tea towel, no placemats to put on glass table, would have added a nice touch.

Room 401 toilet seat needs replacing as slams shut. Great location. Tight parking spaces likely to get door damage. A compendium would be nice. We left room keys in room on departure as no rectionist.

The location is fantastic The ocean views are great. Management and staff very helpful, polite and friendly. Recommend anyone to stay.

Great customer service and very nice room with fantastic ocean view however, the location of plumbing from unit above leant itself to hearing waste water flowing through pipes particularly whilst in the bedroom. This was really the only negative and not an deal breaker. I would stay hear again.

Fabulous!

My husband parents and I had a wonderful stay at Salt apartment's in beautiful Yeppoon. We stayed in a 2 bedroom panoramic apartment. Loved the big wrap around balcony. Looking forward to returning in the summer. Vue restaurant downstairs was fantastic for dinner.

Great location and easy stay, but some car spaces are quite tight.

Disappointing room

We booked a room with a panoramic view, and were unfortunately disappointed with how low our room was. Given the description we assumed it would be higher. Nevertheless, still a nice view. The bedrooms had blinds rather than curtains, and with the street lamp directly outside the bedroom window, it didn’t do a very good job of keeping the light out at night at all. This was a stopover for us on a very long drive, so we wanted to treat ourselves, but my partner ended up being awake for most of the night with the light in his face. In room tea and coffee in the morning was also under par. We payed a decent amount of money for this room, and it definitely was not worth it. The expected comfort was not there for the price.

A great place to stay

Lovely apartment, great location. Comfortable bed and good facilities. One small criticism was nowhere in shower to place soaps etc had to put on floor also a simple laminated instruction sheet for the hot plates would be great as I have never used induction cooktop.
