Our stay at Saladin Boutique was excellent. This is the closest I have stayed to Masjid up Aqsa in my four times visiting, and out of the different hotels, This was the most accommodating as well as clean. The staff were amazingly helpful and when a staff member changed, the new one already knew our needs and requests. You can tell they do a good job of communicating with each other and providing a comfortable experience. We met Abid, the manager, and he gave us a complementary extra mattress for our group of three people. I would recommend this hotel to everyone especially those visiting Al Aqsa. In light of. Recent events, InshaAllah we will be able to visit soon.
Really cute little boutique hotel in an amazing location, so close to Al- Aqsa. Really clean hotel with welcoming staff. I would definitely recommend the hotel and look forward to staying there again.
Just a great spot owned and ran by Palestinians , very clean and close by to Alaqsa mosque. Direct views to the holy rock
Not a 4* hotel experience
This hotel was close to Al Aqsa, which was a real positive. There was lots of stairs at the hotel, which was hard on the older members of the party. No lift. Perhaps worst of all was that there was a mouse in one of the three rooms I booked. It scuttled around and left droppings. This was quite a traumatic experience for the poor inhabitant of that room. The hotel manager couldn't care less and refused to even talk about it. There was also no restaurant/cafe/food as advertised. A poor example of a 4* hotel, in my opinion. A real shame.
This is a small, well run hotel with very friendly staff. We flew overnight from the UK and arrived early on Saturday morning (~7 am). The receptionist arranged for us to have breakfast at the Armenian restaurant across the way since it was early on Saturday (Shabbat) and not much was open. The restaurant was not open yet, but opened especially for us. The hotel stored our luggage until check in and then put it directly into the room before we got back from sightseeing. It was small touches like this that made us feel welcome. The location is in the heart of the Old City with all its hustle and bustle. Very well situation for walking the Old City, about 10 mins or so from Damascus Gate and 15 from Lions Gate. I highly recommend it for those who want to see everything and be immersed in the city environment. Staying in the Old City has its complications for using taxis to get to/from hotel. When we arrived on Saturday there was not much traffic, but the gates to the Old City were closed, so our driver had to drop us off to walk to the hotel. When leaving, there was too much traffic, so our booked car refused to enter. Once again the same receptionist came to our rescue and arranged for a taxi to help us meet the car somewhere easier for him to access. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to those who want to be a part of all the Old City has to offer.
The Saladin boutique exceeded my expectations the staff was extremely helpful place was extremely clean and as an American with very limited Arabic language I felt safe. Abd Al Roman Was beyond helpful and went above and beyond helping me book day tours and restaurants
I arrived into Jerusalem very late on Friday night / Saturday morning (3AM). I was met at reception by Isaa who made sure I was checked in quickly. In the morning Gofran and Abdul-Rahman at reception showed me a great local place (30 second walk from the hotel) to have breakfast and provided some tips on how to best navigate the Old City. I was only staying in Jerusalem for one day, but would happily stay in this hotel for longer. I was allowed to leave my small suitcase here for the day as I went out and took in the sites. The hotel was super clean, well furnished and the central location is perfect for site seeing. Most definitely worth the stay.
The only thing I have to say is that they didn’t offer any tour when I asked.
Amazing. The staff are welcoming, answering all of our question. Location could not be any better, walk distance to Masjid Alaqsa Clean, good sized rooms Would definitely recommend it, and will book it again
Saladin boutique hotel is perfect for anyone visiting the old city of Jerusalem. Its 6 min walking distance from Dome of the Rock. Very clean and up to dated. There is always someone at the Reception. I met Ghufran at the reception. She was very helpful and great in answering any queries. I highly recommend to everyone.
Saladin boutique hotel is at great location near Dome of the rock, just 6 min walk inside old city. Its newly built and everything is updated. Its very clean and cozy. The air conditioner works very well you dont feel warm inside room. I will come back again. Ghufran was really great at the reception. Always helped with everything. I recommend it to everyone visiting Jerusalem.
Extremely well located 5 minutes walking distance from Damascus gate where the minibus coming from the jordan/israel border stops. Very beautiful room small but very convenient very clean , modern, new and excellent bedding. We have been welcomed very early and our room was ready by 11;00 am. We would definitely come back again if we have the opportunity to come back to Jérusalem. Thank you very much we had an excellent stay. :-)
