Great hotel. Entertainment could be improved.

Beautiful, well maintained property. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The only thing that could be improved is the evening entertainment. A couple of nights the singer was REALLY bad. The entertainment is by the pool and really loud so we couldn’t enjoy our balcony on the evenings with the struggling singer.

We had a fantastic time at the S. The food and drinks were great, beach was awesome (really loved the giant trampolines you could swim out to), pools were fab, and room was great. Just loved every single thing about it. Met a lot of nice people. I will say that the staff, outside of management, seemed a bit put upon. Not sure if maybe they are not treated well, but we were sure to tip them. Super close to airport. Bring a snorkle as the snorkeling trips pull up right outside the swimming area at the S's beach. We say rays, gar, and angelfish. The neighborhood outside the resort was very authentic...would just be a bit careful when interacting with the locals. I cannot wait to go back, this place was paradise. I was very pleasantly suprised with the food as it was much better than other all inclusives I've been to. Highly recommend.

Overall, this hotel was amazing! The biggest strike was making us wait an hour and a half after arriving to get into our room. We got there around 3:15 and check in is at 3, but our room wasn't ready until 4:45. After a long day of travel, that was frustrating as we were excited to get settled. Other than that, everything was wonderful. From what I could see, many experienced the same with check in, so that's an area that could be improved since first impressions are important. I would go back again though because we didn't have any other complaints.

The staff were so helpful and lovely. The dining was top notch! I was not expecting such great dining options and everyone was dressed so nice. Bring dresses for nice dining and dancing! The live mousiest was amazing. The property beautiful, snorkeling was amazing. This is a gem of a place. Easy to get around, rooms to beach, dining, drinks, towels, bathrooms, spa… all conveniently located. Tours from the lobby.

Customer service was the best at this hotel. Each and every staff member was super attentive, kind and helpful. We stayed for 5 nights in the most economic room and we were satisfied. They gave us a 4th floor room that was still amazing and super clean. The cleaning lady tidied up our room every day, which we loved. Food choices varied and most of the food was delicious. Some of the dish options were cold but for the most part, me and my partner loved the options. Shout out to ROAN for always suggesting the best drinks and attending to us.

We visited this establishment for my birthday. I really enjoyed the beach. The staff was amazing!!!! The food was so so. I had to leave the resort for the authentic Jamaican foods. The morning breakfast ( pancakes, waffles, French toast ) were always cold. Cereals stale. Fruits lacked variety… Some days drinks were watered down other days they were good. I think the menu and foot preparation could be improved. The room was a basic…2 full size beds in our room. Which were uncomfortable for 2 adults. We pushed the beds together. The sink in the bathroom only got everything in the bathroom wet when you ran the water!! When you turn the water on it runs onto the stopper and causes spray back onto everything else on the countertop, toilet etc. Overall I still enjoyed my stay and the beautiful island.

Overall, the this hotel is good if you are looking for a small quiet all inclusive stay. If you are looking too lay on the beach/pool and not have a lot going on this is the place for you. Chairs/lounges were readily available and staff were always there to assist. Not many scheduled activities and the ones that are really are not that good. Music starts late and less than 40 people go. I thought the food overall was good. I did hear people voice complaints but I did not understand why. The jerk chicken on the resort is awesome. BONUS: If you love to snorkel this is THE place to be. Great snorkeling right off the beach of the hotel

S Hotel was a nice vibe ,enjoyed my stay. If you are looking for a party type all inclusive resort than its not that ,but they do have activites throughout the day. . 3 speciality restuarants on property an Italian, Jamican and seafood restuarant open for dinner only and they require reservations.They seem to always be booked. These restuarants are not open every day or have the same day every week that they are open. You have to go to the desk to ask what dinner restaurant is open and see if reservation is available... that's the only negative I have to say. There is a breakfast,lunch and dinner buffet open with variety of food options.Bar was open from 11am to 10pm. If you want premium liquor than thats an additional cost not included in all inclusive. There is a grill open throughout the day for pool and beach goers at Doctor Cave.The property is well kept you always see people cleaning and maintaence being done. The room was was very nice and spacious well decorated. The staff were friendly and service was great can't complain. Would definitely choose S hotel again.

This resort was everything I have dreamed of. I enjoyed the food, drinks, pool atmosphere, the room and activities. The staff were professional and friendly. I will be booking here every year.

Small hotel with big amenities. There is nothing I don’t like.

The wait at the pool bar/grill was extremely slow and often non-existent even when standing directly in front of the bartender or waitress. Constantly out of water, beer, mix. No mixed drink was ever the same twice. Road sounds in the room all night. Hard bed and lumpy pillows. Roof bar and lobby bar were often not open or again out of beer, mix, ice - it differed from hour to hour. The restaurant food was excellent. property is beautiful. room was beautiful with excellent housekeeping staff. beach was beautiful.

Very relaxing stay. Various activities, nice beach with attentive staff. Everybody seems to be smiling and helpful. One couple we were speaking with said they have traveled to many Caribbean resorts and always seem to come back to this one.

Beautiful beach views. The curtains in the bathroom did not allow for any privacy otherwise the room was exceptionally beautiful

This hotel is very clean & stylish but the entertainment, food and drinks were average. Some of the works were very nice & helpful and some had poor attitudes. This hotel, in my opinion, is for tourists who want to chill & relax cause the entertainment is lacking. Good location

S Hotel as a small boutique hotel was great for travelers who are looking for an intimate, quiet vacation property. Service was great, although somewhat understaffed at times, but the staff always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that the guests needs were fulfilled. Food was great; rooms and property were extremely clean. Overall, it was wonderful for a very relaxing stay.

This resort is very laid back and perfect for someone who wants rest and relaxation. I definitely recommend the spa services. The Massage from Khadijah was superb! And the hot and cold pools after were a good send off . The Italian restaurant on the 5th floor was excellent ! I loved it . We also tried the seafood restaurant on the 1st floor and that was good too . Shaniel was our service at both places and we loved her ! They offer water aerobics , sip and paints ( $22 fee ) , karaoke on wednesdays ! Beach access from the resort was a major perk ! Again my friends ( ages 37 to 40) and I loved this resort we enjoyed the rooftop pool deck , the outside bars and buffet ! This spot is known as a boutique resort but the reviews do not give it it justice ! Thank you S hotel !

Super staff and good food, just limited dining options that were not open every day. Rooms were nice. Not a fan of towel cards. Also, all inclusive apparently did not include the upcharge for “premium” liquor.

The property was the perfect size! Food was great. Beach was wonderful. Loved the rooms and the night-time entertainment. Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I loved this boutique hotel. It’s quiet, close to the airport and the staff goes above and beyond. The beach is super clean, it’s organized and the food was delicious.

Everything was great. The gym, please expect a limited amount of items to have for a weight workout. The beach was great, the restaurants on the property were great (taste and service). I wish the portions were a little bigger at them but overall the food and experience was great. The different views the property offers are immaculate as well. Very adult, grown and sexy vibe here - not too much party.

The best part of this hotel was the pool and beach. However, there is a lot to be improved. Most of the staff wasn’t that friendly or accommodating. Service was beyond slow whether it was at the pool, bar, restaurants, etc. Drinks were super sugary. There is pretty much nightlife activities. I stayed there during the weekend and they had someone singing jazz music on a Saturday night. Nothing fun to do if you didn’t plan on leaving the resort. The surrounding areas of the resort look run down and scary. Finally, for some fun, the pool had a DJ on Friday but refused to play any song requests. I was looking for good energy and relaxation but it’s more like a nursing home. The food was bland at every restaurant on the property. DONT BOOK ANY EXCURSIONS WITH THE HOTEL- ITS A RIP OFF. And lastly, the house keeper went into my friends personal belongings and stole her credit and debit card. I would not go back to Jamaica or this hotel.

S hotel was amazing all the staff is hospitable and personable and they treated you with care. The food was great and service was great. I would definitely stay here again.

At first the hotel seemed small as I was used to big resorts that I’ve been to in the past, but the charm of the place won me over. I enjoyed getting to know the guests and staff since it is a smaller place. It’s also Jamaican owned which I love! The snorkeling right off the beach is great and the sunsets are beautiful! Overall a great stay!

My favorite thing was how professional & friendly the staff was. Also, the rooms are really nice.

There are many positives about this hotel, including its location, tours, and excursions, and a wonderful spa. This said it was a noisiest hotel that we have ever stayed. Further, the staff is somewhat friendly, and most of the furniture needs to be replaced. How this hotel receives awards is beyond our imagination. And to top it off, the snorkeling and scuba diving is terrible.

Beautiful property, excellent food, perfect weather, absolutely the best place to do nothing.

Wanted a brief getaway from the snow and this was a fun time. Check-in was quick and was able to get into our room earlier. Loved the warm welcome and drink upon arrival. Easy to get to; only about 5 minutes from the airport. The room was spacious and the separate living room area was nice as well as the minibar. Restaurants, both the buffet and a la carte ones had great food and a nice variety. I really enjoyed the cafe, with a juice bar and pastries that you could access throughout the day. The concierge was helpful in booking me a dive trip. Easy access to the beach, and never had an issue getting lounge chairs. Both pools were also fun, with the bars right next to them. The drinks were large and delicious. There were a few things though I think could be improved. For one, the drink service on the beach is limited to just fruit and rum punch which is disappointing. They also won't allow you to bring food out there from the grill or order food out there which is limiting for people that just want to hangout on the beach all day. I also wish there were more activities as it was pretty minimal. The S Club was only open on Saturdays and sadly wasn't able to check it out so they could have it open a few more nights. Some of the restaurants were only open some nights which meant it was difficult to get reservations to them and I know there were a bunch of other guests that struggled to get into the restaurants. Overall though, it was a pleasant stay and a fun/relaxing time.

S Hotel has its own beach, which is very unique and convenient. They have a lot of beach drink servers which is very good too.

I love the S Hotel Montego Bay. This was our 2nd stay at the hotel. The art, food and vibe is on point. Love that it's adults-only, boutique and the staff makes the stay so easy and enjoyable. We'll be back.

The property was clean, food and drinks good. This is not a hotel for a girls trip and party vibes. More so for honeymoon or adults for relaxation.

Coffee makers need updating. Room Towels and pillows are tired. Beach lounges tired. Staff very helpful. Over rated for price paid, otherwise pleasant.

This is our second stay at the S.Hotel, having visited in 2023, and we loved it so much, we couldn't wait to return. We adore the boutique vibe, the delicious food, the convenient access from the pool to the beautiful Doctors Cave beach, the stunning ocean-view rooms and only being 5 minutes from the airport. The staff is fantastic! . I worked with Monique, to have our daughter's room decorated and have a bottle delivered for a friends bday. Her attention to detail, personalized communication, and exceptional service reflect the outstanding people who work here. See you next time S.Hotel!

Awesome hotel!

Friendly staff

Lovely hotel very close to Mo Bay. Staff were kind and accommodating. Christmas was very well done. Food, Caribbean or otherwise was excellent and choices plenty. Service around lunchtime sometimes sketchy but other times excellent. Live band is great, rooms spacious, bed comfortable. Servicing of the room was hit and miss. Overall a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

The rich Jamaican history and culture

The manager- Marlon- was amazing. He was always around checking on things. He helped tremendously when we had a medical situation. The staff were all friendly and kind. My only criticism would be the limited menu options at the pool.

Beautiful place to stay, definitely recommend

This property definitely could use some upgrades! Staff was helpful sometimes most of the time acted like they didn’t want to be bothered or were bothered by you asking questions. We paid for a top floor room on the property and was told at check in the 5th floor was apart of the top floor rooms. The hotel room was average, nothing fancy! We did enjoy the Bob Marley memorabilia, there are 3 private restaurants on the property and 1 buffet, at check in we were told they were completely booked and buffet was only available until 4 days later after our arrival, so we needless to say we ate several meals off property! Room service has 4 options! The pool was nice, lots of seating but there was only one open bar during the day at the main pool of the property, that you had to self serve because they never had enough staff. Food at the pool grill was great! Beach was beautiful but you had to self serve yourself with drinks there as well! They did have one wait staff for the whole beach property serving the beach area and the beach access was only available during certain hours. You couldn’t walk to the beach at your leisure or you will be locked out of the property, beach closed at 9pm. My suggestion instead locking the guest out, hire a security guard to assist guest who would like to stroll the beach after hours! Property was completely smoke free to include the beach access so if you wanted to smoke a cigar you had to sit with the locals, which was ok. Upgrades needed!

Property was nice and we had a pleasant stay. I would say it’s a three to four star hotel. Staff were best part of it and made our stay worth while. Glad we came but not a trip we will redo.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in an ocean view room that also overlooked the pool. The food was good, especially the Christmas dinner buffet! The service was excellent. Everyone was very nice. The only negative was the fire alarm went off for a few hours after the Christmas dinner, but it was resolved before bedtime.

Stayed here over the Christmas holidays with my family and it was a great experience. The hotel has great modern decor (especially in the lobby area which is quite inviting), the rooms are spacious and clean (the bathrooms are spectacular, and the beds are quite comfortable), the beach is very nice, clean and accessible, and the restaurants have great service with excellent food. Gym facilities are great too. And there's a rooftop pool with awesome sunset views. Overall, a great experience. Would recommend.

For the money it was just ok to be honest. The pictures do the hotel a better service than in real life. The food was below average. Service was slow even though there weren’t many guests at all. The beach was very quiet and nice, which was easily the best part about the hotel.

I have only great things to say about S Hotel Montego Bay upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and pleasant conversation from the staff. During my 4 day stay every interaction with the staff members was pleasant and they went over and above to accommodate anything that was asked of them. The rooms and common areas were all up to standard and clean at all times. The food was always good at the buffet they always had a selection of cultural dishes to try that made the experience of being in Jamaica even better.I ate at 2/3 restaurants for dinner which was made by reservation with the concierge and the better of the two was the Jamaican Restaurant . My gripe with the Italian restaurant was the portion size that was served and the food being cold so it had to be returned but once returned it was nothing spectacular. I loved that the beach was apart of the hotel it was beautiful, clear of debris/seaweed and I took plenty of naps after many drinks right on beach. The hotel does its best to keep you entertained with games and activities each day and you can win prizes, I won a 20 minute foot massage at the spa located at the hotel. The drinks weren’t strong enough to my liking but you have access to drink as much as you want I didn’t get a buzz at all from drinking multiple drinks daily and it wasn’t top shelf liquor. They also need a 24hour food area serving mini bites because after 11:30pm room service is over and the cafe closes at 12am so there is no food/snacks available.

Offered weed and women at the airport while my wife was in the bathroom and such a great way to start! Received an upgrade and got to check in 15 minutes before we were supposed to! Hip Strip sucked. Homeless bothering you and everybody trying to sell you something. Not too pushy but still would never go again. S hotel very noisy in our 6th floor room on Saturday until 2am. That was horrible. I did not like most of the food but my wife enjoyed it all for the most part. Loved seafood restaurant and steakhouse but only able to get reservation for 1 night each. Buffet sucked for me in all 3 meals but did love the cheeseburgers off the grill. Expensive trip for cheeseburgers to be my favorite food! The beach is aw and many said it is the best beach in all of Jamaica. I also loved the beach in Negril so I would rate about the same, but you are bothered a lot more in Negril. At S hotel you are on Doctors Cave beach with a little section reserved for hotel guests. It fills up with cruise ship people when in port. I guess you can get a day pass and use the beach and other amenities at the hotel. Pool area was nice and clean but freezing water and the pool on the 5th floor was freezing as well. Water in ocean was cold but got used to it fast. We had a great view on the 6th floor. I would say our view was perfect and the beach was perfect as well but food for me bad and hip strip bad. A couple people like Zaria and Paula were very nice but others never smiled.

Some staff members are great, some are too relaxed (no help with on-site restaurants reservations, ineffective help with ordering birthday flowers). Room is somewhat worn, scratches on the floor, ill hang drapes, odor and very poor lighting in the shower. No hangers in the closet…The view from the balcony was great. Average food and drinks, we had dinners in off site restaurants (staff gave good suggestions). Enjoyed live evening entertainment. It’s not a top notch exclusive experience but it’s ok for a short getaway, it’s near the airport.

ummmmmm literally the best the place in Jamaica. there were 8 of us girls in total who just wanted to relax and this place just made us have so much fun! from the staff to everything here (the views, the food) was all beyond my expectations. will be coming back here with my boo ☺️
