Lovely hotel, staff were amazing. Although check-in was at 3pm we were given a room on arrival around midday. Clean and modern throughout, bar was great with a wide-range of cocktails and drinks. Fantastic area for shops, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Great location for visiting old city and lake

Best boutique hotel in Geneva just book online otherwise prices are more than double if u walk in I book for 150 a night and i had to extent one more night they charge me 500 !!!

A modern hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. The offer of a free drink in place of room cleaning was a nice touch. The large bar on the top floor made excellent cocktails and had a small but delicious bar snacks menu.

The staff was very friendly. There is no coffee available either in the rooms or in the lobby unless you pay for breakfast.the breakfast is good but very expensive - as is everything in Geneva. The hotel is clean but very very dark. Entire floors are painted black - the walls and ceilings etc., so you can’t really tell if things are clean. Also, our room faced an interior courtyard which made the entire experience feel very claustrophobic. The best part of the hotel is the reception area which is on floor 7 and has rooftop views over the town. No view of the lake or of mountains.

The hotel was clean modern & had a fantastic vibe! Breakfast was healthy & plentiful. Barista coffee was a great touch. Galleys were very convenient. Looking forward to trying a Ruby in a different location.

This was a lovely hotel conveniently located near to all things required to visit in Geneva, as well the train station which was 15 mins away on foot. Perfect!

Bougie hotel

Lovely hotel very bougie, check in was all done on iPads so quick and easy. Staff helpful and forthcoming with requests. Rooms well equipped and good size, all shower products had a lovely scent. Pillows not the best but useable.

Great Place

Everything great, except the beds and pillows. Hardly slept for 3 nights, so uncomfortable. A shame as everything else was great.

Lovely reception team - not the same at the restau

Great reception team - need to work a bit more training breakfast restaurant team. A team member didn’t want me to have breakfast unless paid upfront despite me staying 3 whole nights for work at the hotel. Left me really surprised. At the end he told me I could pay the next day but he was a bit pushy. Every hotel would put the extras on your room and no big deals.

Easy no fuss hotel for short stays

Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. We’d never stayed or even heard of them before but would certainly recommend now. It was a very funky & cool atmosphere. Very clean, very organised. Most importantly the staff weee so happy & friendly - they seemed to work non stop but just made it feel very special.

Really liked this hotel

This hotel was fine and served the basic purpose for my work trip, but I wouldn't stay here again. It looks like a boutique hotel but is run very cheaply. The bed was very uncomfortable, like lying on a slab, and I had a hard time sleeping. I'm not sure that the temperature control for the room worked. As I was traveling alone, they only left one towel, one pillow, etc., so I couldn't, say, dry off after a shower & dry my hair at the same time. The shower only had a curtain that fluttered around while showering, so water got all over the bathroom floor. And the one time I got food at the bar, the pizza was partially still frozen and clearly just microwaved. It wasn't good but you still pay CH prices. Pros: it's clean, safe, and the location is great. Close to transport, shopping, and the old quarter. The staff were super friendly and responsive. And I liked the way the bath products smelled. So I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

So clean and easy

Seems like you're entering banana republic/ horror house... on the reception floor you're greeted by a very helpful lady although self check in is possible. When you're on your floor the walls are black... the lighting is black. Feels like you could get mugged. Enter your room and try to set the thermostat... no number to set it to... just 3 levels to press... don't know which direction is hot or cold. Plug your laptop and the bedside socket doesn't work. Go shower and one medium small towel 20 inches wide and thin material. No bidet. Go to sleep.... no flat sheet! Bed is hard. The room is spartan... they spent on marshall equipment??? They could have improved the room instead is spending on music equipment I think this is for young rock and rollers not for middle aged tourists. Location is central though. I however would look for another hotel on my next trip to Geneve.... definitely not 4 star in my book and was a waste of usd300 per night.

Amazing

Hotel was centrally located and right next to many shopping streets. Room was very clean and as represented on website. Would stay again if I choose to return to Geneva.

Nice hotel located near shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Staff is polite and attentive. Easy access to public transportation and taxi cabs. Also, there is a convenient 24hr. rooftop bar.

Lacked closet space

Right in the heart of Geneva within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the lake. Room was clean and modern, although a touch small. Had to crawl into bed as there wasn’t really room along the sides of the bed. Modern shower, fixtures, etc. The bar/cafe on the top floor was nice. Friendly staff and a great Paloma! Only 2 small issues… parking (as with many European hotels) was a few blocks away. Also, the hotel isn’t the easiest to find. The entrance isn’t on a street… you will have to navigate a small shopping area to find it. Signage could be better. Took me a few minutes with Google Maps.

Everything was perfect! Only downside was that on our last night we didn’t have warm water, but other than that, it was great

This hotel was perfect for a short stay in Geneva. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Our flight was delayed which meant we didn’t arrive until 1am but check in was easy and we were still able to order food from the bar which we were very appreciative of.

Great staff to welcome and at breakfast, and great general atmosphere. Well located in Geneva : would require additional specifications in directions as located within a mall ( within Center of mall) and not clearly indicated from street. Room relatively small but contains all required amenities - comfortable bed. Good breakfast buffet with variety of tea/ coffee choices. Quick check-in / check-out - great overall experience.

Nice boutique hotel that is much cozier than a regular hotel in a great area for shopping and walking to old town etc.

This is a hidden gem right in the middle of Geneva, I will definitely come back and also check out this chain of hotels in the other cities

Put a Hotel Sign on Rue du Rhone please..

Signage on street Rue du Rhone 46* -needed to direct guests to hotel- hotel is inside a shopping centre and is difficult to locate from the streets outside. People can enter by Globus sign entrance.. Hotel was comfortable and warm and close to attractions. Breakfast was quite good, fruit, banana bread, croissants and apple or orange juice/ tea/coffee/ bread / savoury salad items/ ham/cheese/ cereal/boiled eggs are the hot items on offer, no fry ups..

overall I enjoyed my stay. The room was smaller than I thought but we made it work.

Hotel was nice but could be better, was on floor 1 so no room view , felt very closed in, aircon wasn’t great, no storage for pants ect just a few shirts so room looked messy , was a great location tho..

The property close to everything and 15 minutes walk to train station. It can be noisy depend how close your room is to roof top. Overall it’s a great location and decent room

Great place, rooms are small

An excellent choice for Geneve

My pet peeve is street noise. Here, there was none, even though we were facing a very busy street and were only on the 4th floor. The blackout curtains and the shower (my other two requirements) were great. My partner LOVED being able to reserve a guitar (& cord & amp). The outdoor bar was very nice too.

Really nice boutique-feel hotel. Room was really nice, bed comfortable and the location excellent. Really nice bar on the 7th floor with a terrace and the bar serves food until late which is great if you are out sight seeing all day. Highly recommend

This is a clean, quiet and comfortable place to base yourself to explore Geneva. The flexibility to decide about breakfast day to day worked for us. Cocktail bar is good. Prices are fair (for Geneva)

Fun Stay Reasonably Priced

The Ruby Claire is slightly difficult to find. It is located inside a mall, and you must ascend to the 7th floor to begin self checking. Self checking is easy and because it is located at the bar and there is always someone to assist if you need help. The hallways are painted black but the lighting works. Room was clean and comfortable. I wish it would have a sofa rather than two chairs, but the decor works. It is quite so rest comes easy. The breakfast is included with your reservation and it is outstanding. The options include vegetarian items as well as healthy items like Ginger shots. Coffee is excellent and there is a barista available for you. The other plus is that the joyel is located in the middle of Geneva with easy access to transportation, restaurants, shopping and iconic sites.

Very convinently located in the center of Geneva, walking distance to the lake. The breakfast was really nice. The hotel provides Geneva transportation card which is really good.

Nice location. Quite hard to find as it is inside of a shopping mall. The rooms were *SMALL* to the point where two people were tripping on each other getting around. I expect smaller rooms because it is in Europe, but this was the smallest I've ever been in. This was our final night before we got on a plane home and were hoping for a room to sprawl out and pack in, this was not it. Staff were very nice though, newer room and shower. Mattress was a bit hard. Overall I guess ok for the money.

Overall phenomenal location. Solid staff. Beautiful, large room. I do wish there had been a coffee maker or tea kettle and a refrigerator in the room. Free WiFi and nice terrace. Enjoyed a delicious espresso martini compliments of the hotel by opting out of daily housekeeping. Would recommend. Would stay again.

Desk clerk went above and beyond

My husband and I were given a terrible, cramped, dark room overlooking an air shaft. Despite the fact that the hotel is near capacity, the lovely desk clerk, whose name I believe is Alex (?), worked hard to make us happy and gave us a much better room. It changed our whole visit!

I really enjoyed my short stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, check in was straightforward. I had requested for an early check in and was pleasantly surprised my room was ready considering the time I arrived. I booked a cosy room - perfect for a solo traveller like myself. A telephone in the room would be a nice touch but I didn’t require for my stay. The location is very convenient too: I would stay here again!

It was convenient to transportation

Check in process was tedious and unnecessary. Had to re enter information already given during reservation. Took unusually long time. Staff was indifferent. No drink credits given for “green choice”. Lots of construction around the property

Good location for exploring old Geneva

Quirky hotel, nice, modern rooms. Hallways are very dark and a bit confusing to navigate. Check in receptionist was a bit surly, but the gentleman on check out was very helpful and pleasant.

Super-stylish hotel with lovely rooms, cool bar and dining area, and very helpful and friendly staff. We even played a board game in the bar and got a free drink, which is a nice touch and does help in Geneva, which is an expensive city for many people. Loved the hotel and the convenient location so close to the lake, and would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean enough, the location was really good. I never did get use to the black hallways and the long hallways. Some of the staff were not very good. We waited for about 20 for our order in the bar to be taken and another 10 to get it.

We needed a place to stay in Geneva overnight from where we could sightsee as well as conveniently get to the airport. Ruby Claire Hotel checked the boxes for us. Staff was helpful and friendly. Check in and out were easy. And they had a patio/bar that was nice too.

Great hotel & location

Staff from front desk to bar and housekeeping is very friendly and accommodating. Great hotel in a great and convenient location in Geneva. Love the decor and design of the hotel but the rooms could be larger as it’s even hard to open luggage at all and we got an upgraded room. The bar staff Jacky, Briac, Erwan, and Clemence served us/made our complimentary drinks. But overall, all hotel staff was great and I loved how modern it looked too.

A boutique hotel. Definitely different. Tucked away inside of a type of shopping mall. Best way to describe it. The entrance is not on the street. The bar area had lots of texture and interest. Just note the “outdoor/rooftop bar” doesn’t actually overlook the street. The hallways are super dark…on purpose, which is just a part of what makes the property unique. We got the “cozy” room bc we were only there for one night. And it was definitely cozy. The bathroom is in the room, so you need to make sure you’ve got a close relationship with whoever you’re with! Overall, it was fine for us for one night. Liked the location. Easily walkable to the sites and streets of old town.

Great location, beautiful hotel!

Hotel has a wonderful roof top bar and restaurant with great ambiance. The rooms are well appointed, and clean. The only drawback with the rooms is they have poor bathroom ventilation, so the room gets humid and warm when a person uses the shower. The location is in a walkable district close to the river and lake.

Staff great

In the center of Geneva but was hard to find the place bec it’s inside the mall. No sign outside unless you walk inside and you will see the sign next to McDonald.

The area is very helpful because it is accessible to important tourist attractions. Staff are very, helpful, kind and approachable. The only thing is the aircondition is not very strong. Otherwise superb hotel.

Clean room friendly staff Difficult to find the hotel. Checking out is too early

This is a great location, though somewhat hard to find being in an indoor mall shopping hallway. Here are my complaints: 1. The room never got cold with temperature set to the lowest and fan speed on high. Complained, No Help. Outside temperatures in the 80's. I never opened the window. 2. There was no phone in the room. What if we had a medical emergency? You needed a map to find your room, a 5-minute walk from the elevator with stairs. 3. Went down to the bar at about 8pm and asked for a beer and attempted to charge it to my room. Unable to charge anything to your room, hotel policy. I then attempted to pay with cash, unable since they do not deal with cash. Since I didn't bring my credit card, I couldn't purchase the beer without returning to my room to get my credit card, the only way to pay, hotel policy. 4. Staff was excellent. Hotel policies not so much.
