Well located property offering good value for money. Staff were helpful, breakfast was good and use of swimming pool was beneficial. Overall a good value property for our short stay in the city and would definately recommend.

Hotel is on the main Nguyen Hue walking street. Location is closed to everything in the city. Breakfast is great with many good options.Room is dated but clean.Bathroom is in poor condition,things are falling apart. Shower is inside the bath,it is quite dangerous for older people to climb in and out. Room is not noise insolated, can hear loud music from the street below.

Right in the heart of Ho Chi Min City this hotel is close to the action. We had a great room that had high ceilings and was very private and quiet. It was also very clean and comfortable. The breakfast service was out standing and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Recommended

We enjoyed the stay in this hotel and i would recommend it. The staff is nice and the breakfast buffet is full of variety. However, if you are looking for a cosy hotel i would not recommend it as it does receive tourists on tour.

The hotel is located in the central location and convenient. Although the street is busy and it’s quiet in my room. Many options for food and shopping in the area. Room was clean and staff was super friendly. Breakfast was very good. Room was a little dated.

Saigon’s little gem

A wonderful stay. So close to many attractions. Room service is excellent and staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Fabulous breakfast. No complaints whatsoever and I highly recommend the hotel for short or long term stays.

The location of the hotel is excellent! It is very central on a tree line avenue. It is close and walkable to many sites such as Independence Palace, Vincom Shopping Mall etc. The breakfast at the hotel is very good. The staff is friendly and provided excellent service.

This was the second time I stayed at the hotel. As expected, the accommodation was safe and comfortable for a woman travelling alone. The staff at the front desk and at the entrance were very helpful. I would like to use the hotel again on my next trip.

朝7:30に到着しましたが荷物を預かってもらい、チェックイン時間より早い13:00に部屋に入ることができ、大変助かりました。早朝に着いた上、暑さの中を歩き、シャワーをして休むことが出来たので、夕方からまた元気に活動出来ました。ありがとうございました。8階だからでしょう、シャワーの温度が安定しませんでしたが問題ありません。立地もよく困ることはありませんでした。

Starting working way too early. We needed sleep, but the workers already start at 7 or 8 AM! Too noisy.

Old but clean Convenience

Staff were first class. Smiling, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with many varied options in a beautiful dining room. The whole hotel has a European feel to it but with the lustre of Vietnam.walking distance to most of District 1 or a quick Cab/Grab. They also upgraded our room. Would definitely stay again.

After a mixup with room assignments but staff went out their way to give us a free upgraded. Absolutely pleasantly three days stay. Closed to everything’s. Services are first class. Highly recommended.

Older character, Hotel on the main strip

This is a charming older hotel, right on the main strip in HCM. I found the men working the front desk reluctant and unhelpful, but the women were lovely and efficient. Rooms are old style With lots of wood and not very big but everything was there and everything worked. Hot water took a long time to show up. Lots of original art around the place. A decent least sized swimming pool that seems very lightly used. Housekeepers were brilliant. Lots of maintenance workers on my floor that seem to start around 8 AM or so. This insured I was awake in time for the breakfast buffet, which ended at 9 AM! Clean buffet seating was often difficult to find as tables weren’t remade through the breakfast service. Breakfast choices were extensive and above average With a pho and egg station. The large event building projects going on around the outside of the hotel. Were very obvious, but none Of the front desk, men in the hotel could explain to me what was happening, when or why. Eventually, the music started and was very close to my window and sufficient enough to get through my earplugs and both pillows and keep me awake. fortunately it ends by 10 or 11 PM. Watch out for the special events. If you book here you may be kept in the dark and solutions will be limited.

The room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast had enough variety and was very delicious. The location of the hotel is also great.

Staff are super friendly and look to find solution which I really enjoy! Initially my room had electrical problem with the aircon switching off when I turn the light off. They changed the room for me immediately and solve the issue for me.

가격대비 시설이 좋았고, 시설이 최신은 아니지만 클래식하고 그 클래식함이 주변 관광지와 결이 비슷해 운치있습니다. 조식도 맛있고, 주변관광지와 도보로 멀지 않기 때문에 하루정도는 충분히 숙박할 수 있는 곳입니다.

Great hotel in Vietnam

Hotel is great right in the centre of town. The staff was fantastic. They go out of their way for you. One of the ladies at the front desk literally left the front desk and escort to the front front door and onto the street to give me directions to a store I want to visit.

The Royal Hotel Saigon has the best location if you are visiting Ho Chi Minh City. You step out and you have several restaurants and nighttime attractions available. The service was incredible and rooms were great. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I was visiting Ho Chi Minh City again.

Intimate comfortable setting. The most memorable part of my stay is the friendly and helpful staff. The staff greeted me warmly everyday at the door and helped me with numerous items (direction, currency, phone calls to restaurant to verify menu, receive packages etc.)

In the middle of everything and you could walk to Chợ Bến Thành and other shopping places.

The Royal Saigon has a great location with easy access to all shops. The staff were always helpful. I only wish they had a service to exchange money. However the ATM was not to far away.

The rooms were very nice and had good amenities. There was construction in the room directly next to us. However the hotel staff had warned us about that prior to our stay and asked if we were okay with it. We had no problem with the construction because we planned be out during the times they were working. The hotel staff was also totally amazing and allowed us to check in early when they could see we were extremely tired upon our arrival. We appreciate that. The location is great! The breakfast was wonderful. All hotel staff were extremely courteous and always went above and beyond. We would stay there again.

Only good thing about the property was it’s central location. Apart from this it was a very noisy time in hotel. Street noise was understandable but the hotel had renovations somewhere in the hotel but you can hear loud banging and scraping in the room. The bed was really old and saggy made the back ache and despite complaining to hotel staff , the front desk staff were not understanding at all. Staff did not bother to greet guests especially the reception staff. Only one person was friendly who greeted us all the time. We would recommend definitely choosing another hotel in the area.

Bath room is too small and old. Constantly asking for toilet paper and towels since they did not provide enough.

Great location (safe and clean area within walking distance to restaurants and shops), very clean room, nice breakfast, gracious staff, poor WiFi in the room (good in the lobby), very old bathroom facility, staff speak limited English.

It was a nice stay! Superb location in District 1. Hotel staffs are pleasant. Breakfast selection was good too. The only complaint is the restaurant for breakfast smells terrible and smoky, due to the egg frying station was without suction or poor suction. After breakfast, I have to take shower and change all my clothing again, before going for meeting. I don't want to smell like an omelette in the meeting!
