Great location. Resort and staff workers were really nice and accommodating. Food was great! The only issue was not having clean towel on hand. However, I will definitely stay here again!!
All rooms facing beach crest , water in room and refrigerator 2 sodas 2 beer. No towels in room and when you call for towels they don’t bring what you ask for . Bathroom overflow every time you take shower water running into hallway . You have to use towels they bring to dry up water . We need to bring your own towels . Staff are very unhappy especially food staff . One staff Renae H very good loves her job in food .

This property doesnt have keyless entry door locks. There no towels, no blankets and no hot water in the shower. The food options were limited and we had to wait for plates and utensil s for breakfast and dinner. The staff were very nice and helpful. The facilities were kept clean.
They do not offer washcloths, the sheets are not changed when they clean the rooms. Everyone is out to extort you as they charge ridiculously in US$ for transportation and excursions. Most of the stuff are very unfriendly and are very money driven. They do not care about showcasing the beauty of their country, they are just worried about how much money they can make off you.
It’s a miracle we made it. Check in: we had to way over an hour to access our room upon arrival no towels in our room. we call from desk several times but no response. We couldn’t take a shower. Housekeeping: we were lucky our room got clean once. Very filthy bathroom. The entire bathroom floated every time after our shower. Costumer service: non existent everyone seems unhappy therefore they don’t provide any costumer service satisfaction. Beach towels: not available, we had to go to the sister property to request some towels and they give us a hard time. Food: not appealing at all and taste less. Big shout out to the team in charge of the New Year’s Dinner Celebration and the fireworks it was magical!!!

What a disastrous approach to customer service. We went to this resort as a family during the winter holiday break in December. It was a busy time of year and they are completely unequipped to organize themselves for a full house. The food and the buffet constantly had empty areas. There were not enough plates or coffee, cups, or cutlery. Always had to wait and waiting for cutlery when you finally have a plate of food is infuriating. Beach towels would run out very early. They are just flat out of things and there is zero awareness or acknowledgement by management of how frustrating this is for guests. With exception of a handful of personnel (a couple of bartenders and a lifeguard) the staff are barely friendly and apologetic, and seem to have no power to fix or do anything about it. For a tropical place the only fruit served was watermelon, pineapple and apples. Accommodations are clean, but very basic. There was only tepid water. Towels need changing they are often ripped and frayed. Only two ala cart restaurants on property and one was closed the majority of our stay. Several days all the showers coming up from the beach were out of water so sand got tracked everywhere, including the pool. We did not get the value for the high price we paid for this vacation during peak season. This place needs a major overhaul both from a service and aesthetic standpoint. I can’t believe it’s a Wyndham resort they should know better. Has tons of potential with the gorgeous beach.
Well , I think the property had the idea of what an all inclusive resort should be , a beautiful beach , a nice pool , and the food everyday for breakfast , lunch and dinner had good flavor . The rooms were also just ok , the one thing that was just lacking was the service of the staff ..for every 5 people that worked in hotel 4 of the 5 people just really did not care to help . And the 1 who did help was helpful … sigh . Example there is definitely a lack of towels for the pool and the hotel PERIOD ! First day at hotel went to the pool around 5pm and went to the hotel hut , the lady had no towels because they ran out & to be fare, it was 5pm and she said they were closed . I came the next day to pool at 3pm , went to the towel hut , , asked for towels and the gentleman who wasn’t mean , but when I asked for towels said they were out , when I asked ok , how can I get towels ? He literally just shrugged his shoulders and said I don’t know ? Which is just not acceptable .. I suggested should I go to the front desk and he again shrugged shoulders and said you can try and juts stared at me which became awkward because he was just not going to do anything to help . Regarding towels in my room, checked, family of 4 , there were no towels at all , so I called from desk, 30 mins later we got 1 towel and 2 face rags. Why Because there were no towels, sigh which I just don’t understand at a hotel. So overall ok hotel, but service was subpar which is why I give 3 stars & more towels
I informed management that i only had 1 towel in my room at check in. I never recied more towels. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. The a/c quit working in the room and took half a day for maintenance to fix it. Limitea mebu for buffets. Also, I did not like the fact that all guest use the same utensils to serve themselves. This is a breeding ground for germs.
The food was some of the best I’ve ever had at an all inclusive! And the staff was phenomenal especially MJ, Fresh, Rose’, and the entertainment team!

My overall experience with the staff was very positive. However, I did encountered an issue checking in. The front desk staff did not assign me the room I payed extra for. I ended up having to pay her US $25 to get the room. I’m not sure if she gave the money to the hotel. I spoke with other staff members and was told that’s not the hotel policy.
Hotel room is outdated but the STAFF here.. Wonderful. Good food option within the restaurant. Shops are walkable. Easy parking. We would stay again.
This hotel has filthy rooms, filthy towels, showers, toliets. Food is not so good. Staff doesn't smile. Requests are ignored. I will not recommend this hotel to my pet. The cost was expensive and not worth the money spent.

Charged additional $4 a night at front desk. No bottled water for 3 days, no bath mats, face towels. Floor flooded from shower. Partner slipped at 2 a m...no one after midnight at front desk for 3 nights...staff called in sick and no replacement.. poor quality food, and always out of canned beer. Only Red Stripe. Never heard of the liquor brands in stock. Shows consisted of employees jumping around. Nothing close being choreographed. Do not waste your money! Nothing Grand about De Cameron. Expedia should refund my money.
Upon arrival, check in met expectations. Staff was polite. Night 1-Shower wasn’t working and toilets didn’t flush in both rooms. They would only give us 1 towel one hand towel and no wash clothes. We had a party of 2 per room. When asked for towels the young female would give an attitude. She said they had to go to the sister hotel to get the towels. 2 -3 nights were spent trying to have the toilet fixed and asking for towels . The guys that attempted the fix were nice and respectful. Food was pretty good and the staff was nice at the bar and restaurants. Entertainment by the pool was fun and the staff was cool also. This is a less expensive hotel that has potential. Please fix the mishaps and speak to the young lady about the attitude because it’s not the customer fault that you don’t have enough towels.

The staff are what keep this hotel with a lively atmosphere, thank you to the entertainment team, MJ, ROSE, CRACKERS AND ENERGY! This hotel needs these guys to keep all the guests smiling and entertained! However we saw the same singer 4 nights out of the 7, needs more variety from out of house entertainers, unfortunately we arrived at 3pm on the first day and didn’t get into our room until 4:45pm and we were shown to the wrong room first that hadn’t been cleaned! There should be more staff to assist guests showing them around in the mean time, offering a drink or to the snack bar after travelling! there is no staff that come around for drinks to the pool or beach which I’ve experienced in all hotels in Jamaica! this is a great opportunity for staff to earn extra tips But because of the friendliness of the staff this is what made the holiday!!

I booked three nights at the Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach hotel via Expedia. When we arrived at the hotel, they charged us USD12 (JMD $1,911.00) as room tax for the 3 nights. This is totally unacceptable! There was no note anywhere whilst booking the room that stated we would be expected to pay more money on checking in at the hotel. This put a dampen on what was supposed to be an enjoyable birthday celebration at the hotel. To make matters worse they would only accept payment in CASH. The hotel also charges USD$50 for losing the room key, USD$20 for losing the armband, and USD$25 for losing the towel. Once again, there was no note warning about these charges prior to booking. This practice of having hidden fees was totally unexpected, frustrating and needs to end!

Had to change room 3 times,the first room had no view,second room had only one bed and no blankets. ( i request two beds) and third room the rain falls and the wind blows the water on the door which leaves a puddle at the entrance of the door. No activities for kids. The tv doesn't work,with the remote. No wash cloth,limited towels and bath mats, sheets on bed stain and over used. Friendly housekeeping staff and kitchen staff. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAY WAY FROM THIS PROPERTY. You literally cannot enjoy yourself someone is always walking up to you trying to sell something. The male employee's sexualize the female guests. The rooms are filthy the top sheet on the bed is clean but the sheets underneath are dirty and stained all over. The bathroom smell like pee. The foundation is literally cracking all over in the bedrooms and along the hallways. They don’t provide washcloths. When you call the front desk asking for anything they tell you to come get it. The taxi drivers will not leave you alone they approach you as soon as you’re in the lobby and they want $60 for a 10min round of trip.there are cats all over the property you cannot eat in peace they car even in the dining hall. The entertainment schedule is not true they do not do entertainment that they post. The surrounding area of the property is horrible the moment you leave the property you are rush is 6-10 people trying to sell things. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Although the property was well maintained and the staff had great personalities, refrigerator was not restocked. The food left lots to be desired. Guest were discussing restaurants across the street which to purchase meals. I was disappointed to say the least. The pool was also very cloudy my entire stay, obviously unbalanced… eww

Cornwall lacked drawers in the room, and there were water leaks from the shower into the bathroom. Montego Bay is showing its age. Cornwall alittle newer, shares dining options with Montego. Which are two specialty restaurants and one buffet at each property. Specialty restaurants reservatioms are limited. You have to reserve by 9a. One day, there were no cups available for drinks for three hours, which was quite surprising. There are no washcloths (requested by upper management) and only a few towels in the room. On the positive side, the staff were extremely friendly. It's a basic three-star hotel where you can land, find a place to sleep, eat, and relax—without any extra amenities or excitement.
I like the fact the stuff take time to talk to us, if we need something, and also, the food is awesome everything is on point. We have a good time ,no regret's I enjoy every bit of my vacation.

How do you take a location with arguably the best view of the sea (main reason I booked location) and destroy the experience? Poor management and an absolute disconnect with the basic elements that guest coming to the greatest caribbean island would expect and deserve for the price they paid. The food quality was worse than a school cafeteria. It was poorly seasoned, overcooked or undercooked and food that's supposed to be hot, cold!!! No culinary quality. Tasteless!!! Staff was inattentive, barely accommodating to request with the exception of one or two. The male bartender at main dining room had no clean glasses stacked and was taking used empty glasses from the counter, barley washed to put my drink into. Hygienically unacceptable. My daughter's room was flooded and her belongings soaked. According to a maintenance person, this occurred when the air-conditioning malufunctioned. Still a head scratcher how that would cause her room to have puddles of water on the floor, dripping from the sealing and her bedding soaked. To the staff's credit, they did change her room. Thankfully we were out on excursions all day. ALL COMMENTS BY OTHER REVIEWERS ARE TRUE!!! The problem lay squarely in the owners and managers lap. Staff who are going above and beyond to welcome guests are sabotaged by the behavior of staff members who are rude and untrained. Maybe they should be elevated to managerial positions. Until these issues are resolved I would strongly recommend you book elsewwhere.
little variety in gastronomy, rooms with dirty sheets, cockroaches and many people harassing you to give them money, average experience. They took a long time to serve the room and I asked many times for more shampoo and cream, but they never brought it.

This was the worst hotel I have ever been. On entering, the lobby area was dirty. The receptionist took for ever to check us in, and to make matters worst, twice she walked away to attend to another guest, which I thought was very rude. On entering our room, we were so disappointed. We were so ready to check out. I went back to the front desk asking for a refund, the shower could not hold the water from getting into the room, rusty face basin pipe was obvious, the toilet have seen better days, the fridge cupboard was broken,{fallen apart}. We were offered a different room, which was the same. Overall, the room was very UNINVITING. . If anyone thinking of staying there, PLEASE don't forget to bring your own WASHRAGS, the hotel does not provide these. amenities For an all inclusive resort, we were only served three meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner so if you miss any of these, you will have to wait for the next one. The staff were the most unfriendly people I have ever seen at any hotel. The dining area was very unappetizing, the food was always cold no matter what time you went to eat. Right at the front of the dining room there is a stage, so be prepared for the loud noise during dinner. The elevator is like being in a sauna not to mention the odor. So please if you are thinking of staying at the Grand Decameron I would think twice. The price may seems nice but it's not worth it.
I'll applaud each and everyone that's working at Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach. From the time I checked in with my family and friends we were greeted with a smile. To the waitresses, waiters and bartenders were excellent especially Mr. Andre also know as Dre you were exceptional. Food was amazing, every single thing I ate I enjoyed, thank you chefs. The entertainment team you guys were amazing, I enjoyed the magic show. My overall experience here was phenomenal. Thank you all for an amazing experience and I'll be back.
Had a very good experience. Drinks were good, got seated for buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner- all very good. Was able to go to Doctor's cave and walk along the beach back to the resort.
The hotel look nice on the internet than in person Bathroom was really disgusting, lack of entertainment It was really boring. I saw a dirty sheet on the hallway one morning when I was going to eat breakfast I went to the service desk services report it they left it there the whole entire day.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! I stayed an additional 3 nights because of how amazing the hotel and staff were. This resort is affordable and great for the price. Cornwall beach is beautiful. I enjoyed a big beach and being able to go out further than I expected. Amazing dining staff. They are quick to help with requests and checking in on you. The tipping culture here has gotten a bit out of hand but nonetheless it’s good to give to those who provide great services.

I was initially impressed by the hotel's exterior and the beauty of the beach, with plenty of outdoor activities available for purchase. However, my experience quickly turned into a nightmare. The taxi drivers associated with the hotel overcharged for short rides, and the hotel staff does nothing to stop this blatant exploitation. We had a terrible time with basic amenities—no towels or washcloths were available despite our constant requests. We eventually had to buy our own, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a supposedly luxury one. The food was another major letdown. Breakfast options were limited, and dinner was bland and unseasoned. We ended up leaving the hotel several times just to find food that represented the island's cuisine. The dining staff were shockingly rude, making us feel unwelcome and ignored. Our room was neglected throughout our stay. The sheets were never changed, and even after being out all day, we returned to find the room uncleaned and no fresh towels. I regret choosing this hotel. Having visited Jamaica over 12 times, this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This property was so dirty , I wish I got pictures. The curtains look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. Under the bathroom sink had yellow stains. There were roaches! Save your money and don’t come here! Definitely not worth $300 a night. The staff were sooo rude. They were complaining about not getting paid which isn’t guests problem. They have to get blankets from a whole other resort! Which is so inconvenient. My sister slept without a blanket with her 3year old! Staff told her it wasn’t his problem and sucked his teeth at her. I’m traumatized just from being here. They do have a beautiful beach, so maybe a day Pass to enjoy the beach. But everything else is dirty. I would never stay here or recommend.
I liked the beach and the location of the hotel. However, the staff needs a customer service training. If the hotel can’t provide basic essentials for the guest, they should book appropriately. We had no bath towels or wash cloths. No beach towels were available at 10am in the morning. Provide small bottle water… that’s a basic hotel provision.

The property was just ok. They never have any pool towel for my 7 days stay. Same stupid food everyday, the staff seem tired working there. The staff never seem happy to serve even when my husband keeps tipping to get Berger service. After the third day my family was tired of the service, we had to go out to find other food options.
When we got to the property, we weren’t able to get access to our room until 5:00 even though check in was at 3. When we finally got to the room, the ac was barely working and dripping , the bathroom floor was extremely wet and the bedroom floor wasn’t swept properly. I called the front desk twice and asked them to someone to mop the bathroom floors as I didn’t want to walk around in my shoes and make the floor messy… no one has showed up. The ac wasn’t fixed until the afternoon of the day before I left so for most of my time there the rooms were barely cool. Apart from this, the food was good. Some food items were better than others. The staff in general didn’t provide the best customer service. They were just.. okay, but there was one chef who served dinner who was extremely nice. I’ve been to this hotel before and like it enough to go back again in the future. I was just mainly disappointed with the room situation.

The property is huge. Customer service was awesome. Tevin Checked us in and he made sure that everything was perfect. He even asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. In the dining hall the waitresses sang us happy birthday and gave us a there is not much entertainment and there is nothing fun for kids. There are quite a few pools to choose from but there is nothing special about the pools. The choices of food is great especially from the buffet. The Alacarte was lame. imagine sitting in a restaurant, placing your order and waited over 2 hours to get the food? That was misery but overall, I would say this hotel is average. I also love the craft vending stalls on the beach.
Cave Beach was beautiful. The staff was nice but the man they are very sexual including the staff I was asked multiple times to be slept with honestly if you’re a girl, they’ll let you get away without other stuff because they want to try to have sex with you other than that it was a nice place to go to in the beach. You can stay on all night. You never had to worry about seating for the beach. I went during their Independence Day and I’ve never worried about what I was gonna say my stuff there’s always seats and places to have fun.
Customers service is lacking. Some staff members were unnecessarily aggressive and rude and acted as if it was a bother for them being at work and actually having to help the guest. The front desk manager Mr. Smith was amazing. Rennay, Godfrey, Tevion and a few other members were exceptional while others were obnoxious and treated the black guest very differently from the white guests. The food options at the beach bar can be improved. The entire snack process needs improvement and luckily it appeared as if they were repairing the hurricane damage. Bathroom mats are hot commodity which were always unavailable. The rooms, the furniture, the paint, the tiles, all need to be addressed by a professional and not whomever it is that obviously only knows how to do patch work without much experience. The bathroom mirrors were damaged from the inside. The bathroom had a moldy cord draped inside the shower which should be used for the washcloths but that would definitely kill you or give you a serious infection. The mattresses smelled like pee. The food was obviously recycled from day to day so prepare to have the remixed version of whatever wasn't eaten in the morning. The gate security all need retraining. The beach and pool were well kept. The pool towel section could use proper signage. If you're interested in subpar, underwhelming experiences, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, pay a few extra dollars if you can and go somewhere else.

It was my second stay there and this second time was much better than first time. Resort is down the street from airport and there is so many shops around my friend and I went outside of realtor for lunch and shopping and we loved it.
The ocean view was beautiful, the grounds were kept very clean. Buffet food was good for what it is- buffet food. Lots of issues with housekeeping, towel availability. Leaking showers etc. With the exception of a few staff made me feel almost bad for asking for drinks. The bartenders in the swim show bar at the sister property literally made our trip. The employees in charge of entertainment were also great and high energy. It was mainly just the bartenders and dining room staff that did not seem happy to be there. Alcohol selection was minimal, I was unable to get a martini, and the bars didn't carry lemonade or sprite which I found odd.
Great location right on the beach. And close to the airport and hip strip. Rooms are clean and service was provided each day. The buffet was enjoyable and plentiful. The staff are amazing! So friendly and attentive. We will be back.

This is the WORSE, CATASTROPHIC, DISASTROUS, & DANGEROUS place to stay. Most of the foods were undercooked, what was edible was LIMITED, and it’s like pulling teeth or groveling to get some. The daily menu is almost the same. The FRUITS, SALADS, and PASTRIES are swarmed with BIG FLIES, so UNHEALTHY to EAT. You have to wait in a line for long periods to be seated, as if you’re begging for food. You’re ordered not to take any food to your room. The curtains in my room had SEVERELY BLACK MOLDS/MILDEWS on them & though they were pointed out to the staff & manager, they were not changed. Water was constantly seeping into my room, of which I slipped numerous times, this was also pointed out to reception and other staff but was not rectified. I was staying on the 2nd floor & the door to the balcony could not lock, and although the maintenance guy tried to fix it, to no avail (I slept with one eye open). The bathroom door rubber was worn and falling apart, so it couldn’t close, so water kept running out on the floor. There’s no bathroom mats & the shower floor was dangerously slippery. It took days to get towels & when they came, they looked like floor rags. It took 4 days b4 my sheets were changed, and when I go to the front desk to request a sheet or blanket, I’m told that there’s none available. Some of my CLOTHES were also stolen. Mgmt DON’T care about GUESTS, this is my WORST NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE EVER! DON’T GO THERE!❌🚷😭😡🤮
This hotel service and amenities in the room was like or below the level of a motel. Wash rag based on availability, requested an iron and iron board about 3 pm on Friday and it did not arrive up to check out time on Sunday. No coffee pot in room. Shower has nothing to rest soap. Cleaner start room and just left and never returned until the following day. Bath towels looks that those of a motel rather than a top class hotel. I always wanted to stay at this hotel from the night i was invited to the grand opening but i now feel like i woukd fire the owner. Yes the owner. How couks one allow something that beautiful at start to run down like this.
Started on the wrong foot no towels in the bathroom Around 11pm the woman at the front desk went above and beyond and found us towels and water! But this didn’t derail our stay in a beautiful setting nice and pleasant staff ok entertainment ( we were there weekdays probably better on weekends) and let’s not forget our amazing chambermaid who supplied us with large supplies of fresh towels remainder of the stay. We had a blast

I fell and went to hospital all day and couldn’t drink or do any excursions due to hotel not placing wet floor sign . Slope to rep and all of now I haven’t received confirmation or Refund I’m so upset please call me 7733556453 or respond via email ofcbki@yahoo.com I’m still in extreme pain and look for compensation for this trip
I had a bad experience. My room wasn’t ready until 8pm. Once in the room there was no towels no pillow cases. Day two, there was no WATER for hours. To top it off, NO AC moreover, the staff was rude except Dwayne

The entertainment staff was friendly but was too sociable with clients, one staff wanted me to set him up with my daughter another worker kept winking at my other daughter. Inappropriate behavior. The food options were horrible, the Jamaican cuisine was the bare minimum and when available was tasteless. Showtime games were inappropriate for a family resort. We did not get rags the whole time we were there, the water kept running out the shower and we only got one floor towel. (I brought my own rags). Some of the waitresses were kind and the event staff especially MJ was awesome. Rodney the beach attendant was accommodating and kind, he was awesome. This is my third time coming here for the past three years, will NOT return. There were general managers/cooperate people present but I did not see what they did.
Shower enclosure need fixing. Everytime you shower water runs all over the bathroom and hallway. No small rags provided.

Very nice spot, close to the airport and close to everything. It would be great if it gets a renovation . The bathrooms leak every shower time.. if a renovation is done this place would be excellent.. food is basic no flavor but the beach is nice.
House keeping was terrible after they serviced the room, they did not give as towel. we have to ask several times for bath towels. I have been so many Hotels in my life never experienced something like this.
My room had cracks all over the room and the ceiling. Mold spores on the ceiling and mold in the shower. Patio door didn’t lock and curtains did not close as if they were too little. When we ask for wash cloths we were told that they were out and would have some in the morning. When we asked again we’re told that they didn’t offer washcloths and we have to use the big towels. All eating areas were outside therefore you were hot all the time or you got ate up by mosquitoes.

Amenities was great
