it's a very nice hotel, I especially love the restaurant inside of the hotel, but if you want to walk at neighborhood around the hotel, I don't recommend.

Huge Wow Factor

My friends and I rented rooms at the Rosewood as we were attending a party at the hotel bar. We were awestruck by the luxurious accommodations. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with all the amenities you could possibly need. The spa and pool area are also quite stunning, pampering at its best. I look forward to another visit hopefully in the not so distant future.

The service failed terribly for a luxury hotel. Staff has lost their smile, no greetings at night. No replacement of bathrobe, had to call housekeeping for another one. I felt unwelcomed for the entire stay. This was my first and shall be my last stay at Rosewood.

The staff at the Manor club are the best. They make the stay perfect & I recommend people use the Manor Club facilities.

Feels like home. Home, if you lived in a well maintained king's lodge :) A king that keeps up with the times. Watch TV while in bed, or turn on the mirror embedded TV while brushing your teeth. Set the mood with the push of a button, night-mode or full illumination. Hungry late at night? Order in some very delicious meals, all through the night. Maybe have a drink from the wide variety you'll find in the refrigerator and on the bar shelves. Then sleep in. No worries, breakfast is available until 12. Woke up early morning and want to work a bit? Separate A/C for the living area and bed area allows you to feel comfortable on the sofa while she's enjoying sleeping in a crisp cool air. Don't worry, the late checkout option gives you plenty of time to refresh before moving on to your next destination.

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful stay at Rosewood! Our flight was delayed 10 hours and we arrived at hotel 5:00am but Rosewood staff made us feel v at home and was v efficient to prepare room for us. It was so nice that we quickly forgot about our flight problems.

ood hotel wit a sense of fashion and design. LOVE the interior decoration and all the books and even the bookmark left on my desk.All show great taste of the hotel owner/manager. The tv offers a great varieties of tv programs where other hotels wont usually offer. The location is not as convenient as places like wangfujinetc which is closer to city centre though.

Excellent location coupled with fantastic facilities within the building. Rosewood Beijing is an absolute gem for the price. The rooms are extremely spacious and the swimming pool to die for. The place is remarkable and I will be sure to recommend this to my network of people.

Breakfast was very expensive, so we did not include it in our reservation but it is available. Our room was very clean and orderly. Loved the assortment of teas included and the electric kettle was very fast and convenient. The view was gorgeous and the spacious room had a very large soaking tub and separate shower area.

Rosewood Beijing once again proved itself as my current best hotel option in the City. Having stayed at around 30 hotels in Beijing, this is the winner. Location is extraordinarily important in Beijing and this is perfectly central regardless of what you’re in town for. The rooms are phenomenal, food and service is good and Red Bowl is a mighty fine hotpot restaurant connected to the hotel which is well worth an evening’s commitment. The epic swimming pool is among the nicest in China and should be visited even if you don’t swim

A perfect hotel stay in Beijing

The stay was perfect. This hotel has been carefully designed and decorated with artefacts, pictures and books to fully reflect the culture and history of this ancient capital, to allow its guests to immerge into the culture of Beijing. Though I stayed in many different hotels in Beijing in the past, this one is so exceptional that words can hardly describe it. One has to come to experience it itself.

A great hotel with a fantastic gym, a nice bar and very friendly and helpful staff.

I had booked Rosewood Beijing via a travel site after reading the descriptions and viewing the pictures. First of all, this is one of the few places where the place is actually better in real life! Secondly, the staff and service are beyond way beyond my expectations. I arranged the hotel car service to pick me up and they literally were waiting for me AT the gate! I have felt like a VIP since I set foot in Beijing, thanks to Rosewood Beijing. The rooms are impeccable and beautifully designed. The spa and pool are gorgeous. The food is top notch and I can’t say enough about the staff and concierge- beyond helpful, resourceful, and friendly. There is also a metro station nearby which is super convenient for those that like to explore the city like locals do. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back again someday or visit other Rosewood properties in the future.

One of my favorite hotels in the world.

I discovered the Rosewood Brand a year ago. It has now replaced Taj, Oberoi and Ritz Carlton as my hotel of choice.

Beautiful hotel, poor service

We stayed at this hotel over a long weekend. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable and the spa/fitness center was lovely. However, the service was very disappointing. Staff was borderline rude and remarkably clumsy. We visited some of the competitors and the service was far superior, so this is definitely something they need to improve on.

Beyond exceptional

Fabulous staff, wonderful hotel, can’t say enough good about it. Already recommended to a Friend for her trip next year. Best hotel I’ve stayed in - and I’ve stayed in many.

Best ever

First time to write a review but compelled to do it as this was the best hotel experience we’ve had - and we’ve stayed in a lot of great hotels. The staff are definitely the differentiator. They think and act for you so you can relax and enjoy. Nothing is too much trouble including taking us, personally, to a restaurant (recommended by the hotel) that was hard to find. Special thanks to Crystal and Miffi and all the staff at Rosewood Beijing.

Must stay!

The hotel was amazing (pool, restaurants, bar), and the rooms totally worth the money spent. The service staff spoke good English and we were very helpful throughout our stay. Definitely recommend staying here when in Beijing.

OK Stay

The condition of the hotel turned little bit old. They used to use VOSS water, but they have changed it to some Chinese Local brand water, which was bad. The computer in the room has the keyboard broken, but nobody fixed it. A little bit disappointing.

The hotel will steal your money

Even after falling terribly ill and going to the hospital the hotel would not cancel my booking. I believe they must be going through a very bad financial period if they need to steal their customers' money. I highly recommend you do not stay here.

Birthday Weekend

We had a lovely stay from start to finish. We celebrated my birthday by staying at the Rosewood on Friday and Saturday night. Check in was efficient and the staff was gracious. The hotel is beautifully decorated and we loved to layout of our room. We enjoyed the club access at the Manor. The fitness studio and spa were top notch. We enjoyed a couple's massage at the spa. While we did not try all the restaurants there, a highlight was the brunch at Bistro B on Sunday. It is the best brunch I have been to in Beijing. I would definitely come back and have already recommended it to friends.

Everything was fantastic, including the food! Rosewood Beijing is a must-have experience if you want to enjoy true luxury hotel services.

Superb Hotel and exceptional staff

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, our experience there was superb in every sense. The thing that impressed me the most was the exceptional staff, they are by far the best I have experienced for many years, while traveling in America, Asia and Europe in 5 star hotels. They handled everything and anticipated what I needed, which made the holiday a real delight. Special mention goes to the concierge team, what an asset you all are to The Rosewood, in Beijing.

Manor Suite

The manor suite included daily buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, happy hour, complimentary laundry (4 garments/day) and butler service. Our butler brought a stuffed animal, a robe and slips for my daughter, which was a nice touch. The sodas and beers at the minibar were also complimentary and was restocked everyday. It was well worth the extra $150/night. Since it was not peak season, we had the pool to ourselves almost everyday. The pool was beautiful. It was part of the Sense Spa, so it was very relaxing. For comvenience, we ate at the Chinese restaurants in the hotel and both meals were very good. The prices were not outrageous expensive. However, we were charged 110rmb for each bottle of water. Make sure you ask for "tap water". The manager was nice enough to take it off our bill. Michael at the concierge was very helpful. He arranged for a private sedan to drive us to the Great Wall and back. The driver only spoke Chinese, so he made sure the driver knew where to take us and told him to call the concierge desk if there was any problem. The driver was very polite and professional. He waited for us for 3 hours and took us back to the hotel. It cost us $830rmb, which was less than paying for a tour bus for the 3 of us, or a hotel car (a Jaguar) with an English speaking driver for $7,000 rmb. We will definitely go back to the Rosewood on our next trip.

Modern luxurious hotel, convenient and professional.

One of the most incredible in comfort and service

This hotel was one of the best hotels I have stayed in in my entire life. Hands down exceptional above and beyond realistic service. Food in restaurants was incredible. Truly beautiful rooms and an incredible experience! Major hotel chains like Marriott, Hilton etc. need to stay here to see how a hotel should be run.

Fantastic, chic hotel in Beijing

This hotel was amazing. The room, the service, the dining, just fantastic. We loved the design and architecture. Used the pool quite a bit, also the club lounge. Breakfast was fantastic. The Country Kitchen is one of the best restaurants in the city. Staff were all extremely professional and friendly. Interesting and fashionable crowd. Will definitely be back. Truly enjoyed Beijing.

Incredible, thoughtful, caring, thorough service

On my last 2 days in China, my husband and I got incredibly sick. The Rosewood staff went out of their way to help us be comfortable and navigate the healthcare system. They sent people to the pharmacy to pick up OTC medications, sent bottled waters to our room, placed an air purifier in our room, and really went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed. We happened to be staying over Valentine's Day, and the hotel had rose petals and a dessert waiting for us. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are well designed without feeling overly trendy. Many native English speakers are on staff. And the doormen are better dressed than most businessmen. I can't speak highly enough of this hotel.

A class by itself

My wife and I have stayed in many fine properties around the world. Without a doubt the service and room (Manor suite) we received at the Rosewood Beijing were a head and shoulders above any other place we have stayed... anywhere! Our personal butler was super efficient,, prompt... a great, great help in putting us with a perfect guide of the city. The restaurants recommended by staff were both outstanding. One.. I believe was called hot plates... just magnificent! You simply cannot go wrong with this hotel. top drawer I am, as I write this, trying to think of some excuse to fly back to Beijing just to stay at this hotel as a vacation.

Nice hotel, great staff

The hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly. Every time I went to the pool, the staff would bring snacks and drinks and leave them next to my chair. The rooms are extremely nice and spacious.

Wish I can afford to stay longer.

Only there for one night for a business trip, but it is easily one of the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Very well designed space. Friendly hotel staff, and everything just screams luxury. Fun fact... that bathrobe in the room cost $100... I only paid about $400 for the night. The same hotel in Manhattan will easily set you back over $1000. It is located in one of the most populated Beijing neighborhood, so naturally great view out of the windows. The way they designed the lobby make you felt like you are isolated form the noisy city. Great Place!

The BEST hotel in China with up to standard servic

I need to fly often to China for business and I have been to Beijing for many times. I would say Rosewood Beijing is so far the BEST hotel I stayed in China and the service is professional and up to standard. The high quality of rooms and facilities, the quality food and the professional and hospital manner of all staff (front desk, concierge, fitness centre, dining) all gave me an excellent impression of your hotel. I have a very pleasant stay at your hotel and the best hotel experience ever in China. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to all my friends!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE

Where do I start? Words cannot adequately describe my stay at the Rosewood, Beijing. The hotel is Beautiful, elegant and modern, but very unique with real personality. Every single inch of this hotel has been styled to perfection with an attention to detail one would expect to find in a high profile private home.  I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. I booked the Premier Room for one night to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and I have to say that she and I both were blown away. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels around the world and I have to say that this one definitely exceeded my expectation on all levels. The hotel is fabulous, so impressive and luxurious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure of making some special arrangements for my stay via the Concierge (Bella Han); let me just say she made everything happen. I was and still am overly impressed by her help to make my stay special for my girlfriend. Every request that I made was granted. So, if you have the pleasure of making arrangements with Bella you will not be disappointed. We felt really pampered. The room decor was very stylish and spotless. The bathtub is huge, the bed and pillows are so plush and comfortable. We ate dinner at the Red Bowl which is excellent within itself, and I will certainly be back. Few places live up to the hype, The Rosewood Beijing far exceeded my very high expectations. This has to be one of Beijing's finest. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay.
