Very good
The stay for me and my family was really nice. The hotel was very elegent in style and the rooms clean. My daughters used the pool and I the fitness center. Very convenient to local shops and attractions. Will recommended this lovely place to everybody.
We enjoyed our stay very much!
The wifi could get really slow sometimes. Other than that, i enjoyed my stay!
It has been the best hotel I’ve been in over 27 years
Clean and spacious rooms.
The property is in a good location, the staff at the hotel are very helpful. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean.
This is my second time staying at the Rose Garden and would return again. Great location, comfortable rooms and reasonable prices.
As others have commented, the street noise is quite noticeable. I really would not have minded had we not had to keep our windows open while we slept. The hotel was so HOT! There was no way to control the temp in the rooms - the front desk told us that it is set to a certain temp and cannot be changed during the winter. There was nothing they could do. Upon arrival our shower drain was clogged - the issue was addressed but not for a couple of days. Overall the hotel was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nice and the shower drain was not a major issue. I cannot, however, overlook the discomfort of the temperature in the room. I am quite cold natured so for me to be hot is really saying something!
Very spacious room, quiet, good location yet walkable to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, lots of restaurants & shops.
Horrible hotel management
Terrible property management. They didn’t have heating working with the weather of 4 degrees Celsius outside. They couldn’t solve the problem rather than to bring me extra blanket at the end for the night. The Consierge lied about the policy, he told me that they are not allowed to activate heating system in all rooms in the hotel. After I asked to activate it my room bc I’m cold, he said that they are not allowed to activate it at all, which absolutely didn’t make any sense because I was staying across the street at grand hotel palace for 4 nights and we had heating working non stop. After I made some noise, he said that he forced the system to work and i will have heating working which is never happened. He was also rude saying they I have no choice and it is what it is. When I requested to change the room he admitted that heating actually is not working in all rooms and that they don’t have technicians. The next day I asked for the late check out, they allowed me to check out at 1pm and if I needed to extend till 2pm it will cost me a 100 euro! When I came back to my room to take my bags at 12:40 the maid was there although I left do not disturb sign outside the door. One of the worst experiences.
Lovely hotel and good location but we had a terrible experience with the front desk. The ac went out for over 24 hrs- they denied it at first, then told us to email a generic address to ask for help (bizarre), then blamed Rome’s municipal law (it was a lie as it had nothing to due with a broken ac), we went thru several emails. If you can - look elsewhere - it’s too bad because if they just handled it professionally -fix it, compensate and apologize-it would have been fine. Also, beware of the front desk’s restaurant recommendations- it was definitely a pay - off - the restaurant was awful -called something 44- run by a misogynistic guy who gave my husband the bill even though it was my card and said “men should sign credit card receipts” Am I in the 50’s??? Terrible food. Go to La Bruchetta a few blocks away for good food and inexpensive.
Love!!
We had an amazing stay at Rose Garden Palace!! We wanted to be a little bit away from the hustle and bustle and we couldn't have picked a more perfect spot! It was so clean, accommodating, the bed was comfortable and cozy, the staff was so friendly, and the breakfast options in the morning were wonderful!! We would definitely stay here again!!!!
The property was great. The bed was really comfortable and rooms were clean. Only 15 min walk from Trevis fountain
Nice, safe, and convenient
Great, safe, convenient place to stay in Rome!
Perfect, quiet, beautiful hotel for rome
Very quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. Very quiet room. Beautiful hotel. Smaller so easy to manage, but did not feel cramped. Still felt spacious. Front desk was Friendly and helpful and quick to call taxi for us.
Very roomy hotel in this central area of Rome. Great restaurant, fab breakfast, easy access in walking distance to most attractions. Hop on Hop off bus just across the road.
Clean, comfortable, and large room. Hotel in great central location near US Emabassy and Spanish Steps.
Good location in a safe quiet setting,
Nice property, friendly staff, but pool area needed towels, constantly needed to ask for them, sauna didn’t work, and very wet floors, could easily slip. Problems with Air conditioner, had two rooms, reported to staff multiple times about AC turning off and or wouldn’t cool, super hot in the rooms, poor sleep both nights we were there. The doors unlocked a few times on their own, we didn’t feel safe with that.
Oasis of calm & luxury
Fantastic hotel in a great upmarket location, away from the busyness of the city centre but plenty close enough to be a great base for exploring. A little oasis of luxury after a busy day of history immersion!
Very pleasant stay.
I will recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome. It is in a safe area and you can walk to several things. They have a wonderful pool that is nice after a long day. The staff is great and we traveled with very small children and this place was perfect for them.
What I like are commented above.
Kind and Provided taxis super fast
Rose Garden hotel was amazing!! definitely stay here!
Close to dining shopping & Spanish steps. $16 Uber to colosseum & Ancient Rome.
Very nice and staff was exceptional.
Very nice hotel with excellent customer service!
The property and staff were very nice. 2 water bottles included in the room, nice toiletries, great breakfast - beautiful and delicious pastries, and the kids loved the pool area. Apples and water in the lobby as well. The restaurant was good as well - we ate there for dinner.
Good place, with very nice staff but they turn off the A/C every night … too hot! I hope they fix as it is a nice hotel and very helpful staff
Lovely hotel, safe location at the US Embassy. BUT… plumbing was very slow, especially drain on the shower and bidet, jets on the small pool at the gym didn’t work, internet was spotty at best both days, room was missing bottled water, coffee cups, robes, and only had one towel on arrival. Had to call for pool towels. Breakfast was nice. The lack of internet reliable service makes this inappropriate for business travel, seriously. Really nice for leisure travel if you have international service on your phone as backup. Expedia rate was 1/2 the regular rate, so a good deal on an upscale location and property.
The hotel was in a nice area, clean and the staff were pleasant. However, the bed was very uncomfortable and the spa was disappointing...the whirlpool did not work and the sauna was switched off...no idea where the switch to turn it on was located either!
Didn't like the breakfast that much.
Best free breakfast in the world!
Everything was excellent, the friendly staff, room size, great food.
The room was large and lovely with a great view. Bathroom clean and modern. Smart TV was a plus even if not necessary. The staff accomodated our room preferences and the front desk was pleasant. The negative - we didn’t get coffee or tea replenished in the room, even when we asked, and when our room was serviced they removed cups and spoons and didn’t leave new ones. The coffee/tea machine leaked then stopped working. But that’s okay - there’s great coffee around the corner for that morning wake up!
Great staff, quite area and large rooms.
The hotel was not understanding when we asked to change our stay. We asked if we could swap the dates and pay the difference, but they refused. When we return, we will not be staying here as they were not helpful.
Perfect place and nice staff
Hotel rooms are nice, they were friendly and upgraded us on arrival. Lunch we had in restaurant was great. However: breakfast disorganized, probably not enough room for all the guests and no service -- all self service including trying to figure out their coffee maker. If you sit with your breakfast in the lounge area there are no utensils, sugar for your coffee, etc. The specific and costly problem we had was we wanted to book a tour and asked about transport to the meeting place. They said no problem, just come 5 minutes before you need a taxi. So, we booked a non refundable tour. On the next morning we tried to book a taxi early and were told, no come back 5 minutes before. Then the man at the desk said ok "I will try to get you a taxi". In the end the two companies they use were either not responding or had no available taxis so we were out of luck and so were another group trying to get to a train. We did try going to local taxi stands but were not successful and missed the trip. The most frustrating and unacceptable part was that they did not even offer other alternatives, try a different company or try to get us private transport - anything! The man at the desk simply said "I don't work for the taxi company". Unacceptable. I have never had a front desk be so completely unhelpful and uncaring. Spoke to the manager -- nothing. Around the corner cabs were arriving every few minutes for guests of another hotel. Only Rose Garden guests were stuck, missing trains, tours etc.
Quaint and close in for walking to sites.
Beautiful lobby and rooms. Quiet.
Good for an EU hotel
Location was great.. very close to Villa Borghese.. rooms were large, clean and comfortable.. very safe area which is important as single mother traveling with my daughter.. only negative was noise could be heard from hallways.. it was only occasionally so not that bothersome.. special shout out to front desk Samuele, I broke my foot at Colosseum and he was very helpful in calling around to help us find a walking boot for it.. very grateful for his help since I do not speak Italian..
Wonderful people! Very helpful with arranging transportation and suggesting great restaurants. Loved our stay!
Had a great stay here. The people here were super nice and accommodating. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
We had a great time at this property as a family of 4. Comfortable King bed and sofa bed for kids. Walking closet and nice size bathroom. Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Max and Natasha. Max went above and beyond to help out! Great stay, great location!
Once you get use to how to communicate through the Spanish Stairs ration down the hill it is very convenient to go to the center of Rome. Located in a nice neiborhood and the facilities are nice, high quality.
Good value for money
An excellent property across the street from the US Embassy and near Via Veneto. A wonderful and refreshing pool in the lower-level fitness. centre. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Rose garden palace is located in an upscale neighborhood in Rome, but very walkable to a lot of places. The staff were friendly. I overall enjoyed staying there and recommend it to everyone.
The location was good. Felt safe as the US Embassy was across the street and guarded 24/7. The room was nice, small for a Superior room'.
Lovely location and excellent services.
Everything was really great! Love this place!
It was really one of the best, I highly recommend it Thanks
We loved being on a quieter street that was around the corner from everything. Comfortable, clean and with character. Lovely staff, easy breakfast, nice touches.
The hotel was in the middle of reparations, the view from our room was not good to say the least. We were extremely disappointed when we tried to open the curtains and saw the sight. The hotel is a good hotel but they should let their clients know when they are under renovation.
Front desk (Barbara) was fantastic. So helpful. Hotel property excellent. Great location. Great shower!!!
Great place with AC! with 98 F outside getting back to the Hotel with Good AC was superb!
Outstanding hotel with a fabulous staff and a rare garden. I was extremely surprised and I rate the hotel at a 9 out of 10 scale! As we say in Brooklyn, what’s not to like.
They don’t turn in air conditioning in the hotel or your room till 6 pm. Towels replacement is smaller towels only and the pool area has no towels, the list can go on and on about the shower placement, but other than the location everything is substandard about this hotel. If you have an alternative choose that
So so
Not so great - service at the restaurant was great with very good waiters. « Family » room was kind of ok, but could have been bigger. A/C is noisy. Couch was extremely, extremely uncomfortable so my kid could not sleep in there and we ended up switching. I experienced how uncomfortable the coach was as well then! So glad my week in this room is over! Positive: location is safe and 10-15min wake from Piazza do Spagna; it is safe. Great pool area and fitness area (but surprisingly quiet, made it weird). Cons: dining options not so good around the hotel; beds not good; was told that no towels are provided at the pool and that I should use those in our room (= those used for our showers).
Flat pillows and sunken beds
The beds and pillows are wore out and need to be changed. No WiFi on the last three days. Staff and service was excellent.
Convenient location.
Excellent!!
Location
Great location
Could be better
We traveled with children, and choose this hotel as they have sauna and swimming pool, but they were out-of-order for 2 nights. Big and comfortable room, but the air conditioning was not working properly.
Great location, very clean
The hotel has a great location, I was impressed with how clean it was and that it didn’t have a “hotel smell”. My kids enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed that it was warm and didn’t have a strong chlorine smell. I wish it had a complimentary breakfast even if it was just coffee/ tea and something small. I also wish I Asked for better pillows as they were very flat Overall I was very happy with my stay at luxe garden hotel
This hotel was amazing! So beautiful! The staff were incredibly welcoming, polite and helpful. Great location. Gorgeous rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
Great, welcoming staff. Beautiful, clean hotel, helpful concierge. Great location.
It was alright!
Overall average and definitely not 4 star. Location was fine. Rooms were basic. They don’t offer milk or cream with in room coffee and tea. Pool is clean but smaller than I think and the whirlpool function doesn’t work. Front desk took her time checking us out when there wasn’t even a line.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, comfortable stay!
I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Rose Garden hotel as I assumed all European hotels to have small and old rooms. Our stay was fabulous, right from the big spacious room (deluxe room), the breakfast spread, the friendly staff - both Marco and Barbara. They made us feel right at home. Any need, any request of ours was met. The rooms are luxurious and the bathrooms have a great shower! The hotel seems newly furbished, with a big lift and nicely smelling corridors! They even have a fitness centre. The location is lovely, opposite the American embassy. It's a quiet area, yet not far from anything. I have no complaints and I would be back here again!
staff were very helpful and location was perfect for exploring Rome
Amazing!
Amazing! Will definitely come back again!!! Great spa and pools.
Great Hotel in Rome
This hotel was a pleasant surprise as hotels in Rome can be very dodgy unless you pay the big bucks. This hotel was not as central as other hotels but it was only 15 mins walk from all the good stuff in Rome and was located in a nice and safe neighbourhood (across the road from the American embassy). The room was a good size, comfortable and very clean. There is also the bonus of a ‘whirlpool’ in the base meet which was a nice place to cool off after a warm August day in central Rome. I did not eat at the hotel as there were a number of good restaurants within 5 mins walk of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful hotel in great neighborhood
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Luxe Rose Garden hotel. The location (close to Via Veneto) was great -- just across the street from the American Embassy - and within walking distance of the Villa Borghese and other great Rome sights.
Wonderful staff
Small, quiet boutique hotel. Rooms were lovely and extremely comfortable, clean, and spacious for visiting. Quiet, leafy street. 15 min walk to Trevi fountain. Staff was warm and helpful.
Another beautiful hotel for our third city and first trip to Italy! Safe, clean and the staff was so helpful! No matter how many times I went to the front desk for help, they were always polite and went above and beyond! Several times at night (10 -11 pm) my daughter and I went out, and felt completely safe. I guess it helped being in an area where there are so many embassy's. The other hotels we stayed at had breakfast included, unfortunately not here, 20 euros per person! But the food was good!
Lovely and clean. It was raining and one of the 2 of us asked for umbrellas. They wanted to be sure it was raining then gave us one not 2. Really obnoxious.
perfect in every way! We were especially impressed with the front desk staff...and our upgrade!
The room was light and clean and airy, the pool facilities were fabulous and the children could access the spa freely. The children were made to feel very welcome and were given a book each as a gift. The hotel was well located for both the train station and the main attractions of Rome. Despite an early arrival our room was prepared for us so we could check in by 10:30am.
Location. Lots of resturants mear by. Safe neighborhood next to American Embasy.
great location, safe, and the property is well kept.
Its location is considerably great. Walking distance to almost everything
Elegant and comfortable hotel in the heart of Rome
We really enjoyed spending time in the pool and were very well looked after by the staff and especially Marco on reception.
No but was close to the US embassy and public transportation.
Nice Hotel
The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you needed a taxi you would have one in less then 2 minutes. The hotel was not centrally located so if your pressed you would have to use a taxi get around.
A lovely hotel in the best location, though it is right opposite the US Embassy. The staff were all pleasant and the room and food were lovely. The sauna didn't quite work properly but that is a very small concern for such a good hotel.
Good location. Quick walk from restaurants and the train
Hotel is across the street from the US Embassy in Rome. It is about a 20-30 min walk to the Colosseum or Trevi fountain. It is in a pretty quiet neighborhood and you will need to walk 15 min to restaurants. The hotel staff is great along with the beds and rooms.
Very convenietly located close to city center and attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Rose Garden Palace, everything was great, room, staff, food and the beautiful pool hidden away!
Great location - walking distance to many attractions. Outside of tourist area - easy to access for vehicles.
Everything was as expected. We’ve stayed here before and our check in went well and acknowledged. We will definitely stay here again.,, great area, close to many sites and shopping,
Coming from the United States this was an eye opening experience at the Rose Garden Palace. We booked a room with two twin beds for myself, my wife, infant child and mother. When we arrived we were told that the room was only for one adult which I thought was strange considering the two twin beds. The front desk staff collected our passports and took what felt like hours to finally come to a conclusion for our stay. They forced us to buy an additional room and split up the family during the stay. Other than the initial experience the hotel was extremely clean, staff was very friendly and helpful otherwise.
Warm, safe and comfortable
Very warm staff, and they were able to accomodate our needs for an extra put down bed very quickly The hotel american breakfast, and all you can eat, was very good. The pool was great, until the second day when the heating wasn't on, but that didn't dampen our stay. The area is opposite the US Embassy and a safe area to stay, very pleasant indeed.

Gem of a Hotel!
Excellent stay. Fantastic staff and great location. The pool just topped it off for our kids!
