SEXY hotel in Munich!
This is a SEXY hotel. Ferraris and Lamborghinis and high heels everywhere. The room was so creatively appealing and just oozed sensuality!
Just amazing location with amazing staff.
Reception team are lovely, thank you. Spa and facilities are good and clean!!!
Convenient stay, the towels were not so clean but the service was great
Roomers Munich has great amenities with an indoor pool and sauna to enjoy at the end of the day. It offers an excellent breakfast buffet. It is a quiet hotel with a tram stop right outside the doors. Staff were efficient and professional.
Very cool property. If you are a night user of the bathroom, you'll need to turn on ALL the lights to get to the toilet and my rooms bathroom was odd (I stayed in room with deck), but super cool place, LOVE the decor and staff. Still 5 star, even with the weird toilet.
Excellent hotel
Funky hotel and great rooms
Style over Substance
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful but hotel is very style over substance. No charging points in the room. Water not replaced, we were told to drink the tap water! Lighting in bathroom terrible. The food however was amazing, breakfast great and dinner in the restaurant, superb. Don’t like the dark corridors reminded me of a brothel!
Very poor lighting, rooms are very awkwardly set up, very tight parking. Coffee machine and safe were not working and in spite of complaining twice were not fixed
Bath was a bit broken. Eye for detail is missing
Our stay was awful. The staff was not very friendly and when we had an issue with a lost item in a cab and asked for help as we do not speak German, they seemed as if they could not be bothered to help. On our final night after showering the room flooded everywhere - we were in the middle of packing at 11pm at night and had to rush to move everything as we had a good inch of water coming from the shower. When we called down the front desk seemed to be aware this was an issue which is even more bothersome. They offered to move us rooms but what a complete inconvenience at night while you’re packing up. The next morning upon check out the front desk was not apologetic in the slightest. When I complained to Expedia for a refund, I was told I cannot get one as it does not adhere to the rules and restrictions - so basically your room flooding in the middle of the night is not a cause for refund? Ridiculous on both Marriot and Expedias part.
Awful service which ruined our trip. There was a severe lack of staff and it was impossible to get in touch with anyone from the front desk when calling from the room - waited on hold for 40 mins on one occasion. The pool area was dirty as there were no cleaners to maintain / pick up used towels. Food in the restaurant took a very long time to arrive. Staff were generally unhelpful and rude. Would never stay here again
Very nice hotel.
.
Service and staff were great. Rooms are spacious and in good condition. Hotel also has a great bar.
Was ok. Not bad but I felt could have been better. Staff ranged from friendly to pretentious. Very dark hallways, but cool hip vibe throughout. Room was tiny. Location was far from main tourist attractions and felt like having to drive far to places we happened to want to see. Wanted to try the sushi restaurant but showed up seven minutes early and asked to come back, yet another couple showed up and seated. So I cancelled instead and walked to restaurant nearby. Like I said was ok overall, but wouldn’t stay there again due to service being hit or miss and location.
It took me 3 days to find my room without difficulty. It is like a very dark maze and the signage for rooms is very poor.
Hard Beds...enough said.
The hotel is very dark and mysterious which can be cool. The rooms are nice but the bed is hard as a rock. Not for me. Also its a long walk from the train station especially when you have walked all day.
Tiny rooms Room wasn’t cleaned for 3 days
Tiny rooms No maid service
Different ambience to most other hotel Pool facilities need improvement Lifts could be improved Hotel geared towards younger generations
Wonderful experience! Classy place to stay for Oktoberfest.
Firstly, the staff at this hotel is absolutely wonderful - always friendly, helpful and prompt. I was most disappointed with the spa. For weeks before our trip I had emailed the spa to make reservations for treatments, and each time just got an auto reply that someone would get back to me within 48 hours. That never happened, so I decided to just make appointments when we arrived. There was clearly a miscommunication at the desk because when I asked about making appointments I was told they were not necessary, to just walk in. When we arrived at the spa a couple of days later, we discovered that there were no treatments available at all, only the pool, sauna and steam room. A few things come to mind here. One, why is the hotel website still advertising these treatments? Two, why is the email response telling me you are getting back to me and then I hear from no one? We were looking forward to our last day in Munich being a day of rest and relaxation after a lot of sight seeing and sadly we were disappointed. Secondly was the restaurant in the hotel. It was Japanese food, an odd choice for a hotel but OK. We actually ate there one night and the food was delicious, so we decided to go back Monday night. At that point we were told the restaurant was closed on Sundays and Mondays. For a restaurant located in a hotel this seems like the most inconvenient approach - many people just like us just want to have a quick bite and go to bed after a long day!
Fantastic hotel
The team at Roomers Munich went above and beyond for us to have an amazing stay. Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Everything was perfect.
My favorite hotel - and I travel a lot!
I travel a lot and have stayed in many 5-star hotels in most major cities across Europe, US, and Asia. Roomers has become my favorite! The rooms and decor are great! The people and the fun vibe make it a really fantastic experience. And Izakaya restaurant has really great food.
Munich trip
Lovely hotel
Suboptimal room service
Stayed solo for 4 nights. One the second night the coffee pads were not refreshed - solved after calling the reception. On the last night the room was not cleaned fully - morning coffee empty cup was not cleaned and stood dirty on the table exactly as I left it in the morning. I didn't bother to call for the second time. I didn't expect to be pointing at these for this hotel.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff and posh rooms. I didn't get to use all the facilities as I was working but I would definitely stay here again. Very posh and sophisticated hotel.
lovely hotel
Very modern and spacious room.
Room is very small and don’t have place to place you staff if you stay more 3 days or more ....
Always an amazing stay! Recommend!
I always have a great stay at Roomers Hotels! Such a classy and pretty rooms! Service is amazing the friendly!!!
We like the design but the staff could be more welcoming and room could be cleaner. It was overall a good stay.
Amazing hotel - staff very hospitable and welcoming; breakfast buffet was sooo amazing; room is very vintage style and fun!
Absolutely lovely staff, wonderful spa and unique interior design
Urban cool luxe. Perfect 100%
Fantastic hotel. Very cool decor. Great food. Great staff. Perfect for the Christmas markets as only 4 stops on the tram To the main karlstadt square. Staff gave local tips and were very helpful.
there is no water for customers and the bed sheet didnt changed.
Room is too small It’s clean overall, only it’s too small for a family with a three years old kid
Boutique hotel, style is everything, practicality not so much. A round bath on the balcony in Munich? Really?
Great customer service. Very cool style and decor.
Breakfast was satisfactory. Happy eith doorman, very polite & helpful. Extremely disappointing with house cleaning, it is 3pm & the room has not been clean everyday. Entertainment, no movie channel or pay perview, concierge services are non existent, could mit book trip for guest & no room serbice during the day.
Beautiful boutique hotel
Decor and rooms are on point and very comfortable. Love how housekeeping can be requested via a touch panel when leaving your room so you don't get those awkward housekeeping door knocks. Rooms are great for solo travellers and couples as bathroom is open. Great stay in Munich and the tram stops right outside!
Rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. The spa was lovely and very relaxing.
Oktoberfest
perfect stay.... but a little too expensive
Service was horrible.
Overall a good choice. Only downer was the relatively high deposit of EUR100 per night. Close to centre of Munich. Starnberg easy to reach by train. Tram right out the front
It was good hotel, nice room but very small room..
Hotel was excellent.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant and room service options. Stylish, well built and functional rooms. Great location in central Munich.
Very good, but not quite a true 5 star experience
Roomers is a very new addition to the Autograph Collection of Marriott hotels, and it does indeed feel new. As for whether it passes for a true 5 star hotel experience, well, I think it'd be better classified as a 4.5 star property. For one, like most European hotels, you always get the sense space is at an extreme premium. From the valet area to the positively compact lobby with its low ceilings, it's clear Marriott's goal here above all else was to maximize the number of rooms. It makes for a less than lux impression on check-in. As for the rooms, they were a great value at an off season rate, but unless you get fairly far up the upgrade chain, don't expect much space. Our 330sq ft king room was perfectly OK, but the layout prioritized Roomers "apartment" aesthetic over maximizing usable area (you have a kind of useless entryway, a bedroom, and a rather large bathroom). During peak season, I expect the value of this property would be substantially less attractive. The restaurant bar had some great cocktails (we didn't try the food), and brought in a pretty glitzy crowd. This is, for the moment, a hotspot for some of Munich's young money. That said, noise was never an issue. Just know you're more like 1.5 miles from old town Munich, and that's a good 30-35 minute walk. I'd stay again, for the right price - I just wouldn't call this a 5-star property.
The room was very clean and tiny! The breakfast buffet was very good. Great selections and food was fresh! Staff was tremendous
The rooms are lovely, well designed and make good use of the space. Great water pressure in the shower, a lovely bathtub and great bath products. The gym and spa are not to be missed. We also ate dinner at Izakaya, which is very delicious and experimental Japanese style food. Great trip!
Nice enough hote but a bit swanky. 37 euro for a burger and fries though 😂
The best stay ever
One of the best hotels I have stayed at. We were visiting from Canada and had 2 rooms. All of us felt that Roomers is our favourite. Great rooms, lovely washrooms and impeccable service. I would specially like to mention Felix Hasimi who was very helpful in organizing our tours and dinners. Ms. Ana at the reception and the bell desk were specially helpful. We loved eating at the Asian restaurant in the hotel. Very good food. And great service. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Stylish hotel with a design feel
Without a doubt one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Loved all the small touches in the room and it was very stylish. The tram stop is right outside to get you to the city center, but plenty of beer houses, shops and bars within walking distance too. Get a superior room, the one with the huge baths in the room!
Nice interiors. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.
Lovely weekend away
Had a really fantastic stay where staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The swimming pool / spa was really nice touch and made for a relaxing weekend! Small suggestion for improvement is to increase their room service menu for breakfast as there was only one choice.
It is well located, and the staff there is so frendly
Extremely clean. Excellent bed. Excellent air conditioning and air quality. Good sound insulation. Friendly staff.
It is a very cool experience to stay there. Unusual Atmosphere. Fine dining.
James+Claudia's stay - great hotel!
Really was a great experience - rooms are quirky cool and staff are very helpful. Great music systems in the room. 2 small things. We did have to change room as the balcony door handle wasn't there and we wanted our balcony! Secondly, the staff on the most part were excellent, expect one in the pool area who really didn't go above and beyond and was to be honest rude and unhelpful.
Excellent staff service; very friendly and accommodating. Hotel facilities throughout were of a high standard, particularly the hotel bar and spa. The room itself was elegant and stylish, and extremely comfortable. Would be my choice of stay again in Munich.
Staff friendliness, facilities, spacious rooms well equipped, great spa area, great breakfast
Interesting Design Hotel / low service level
Interesting Design Hotel / Service clearly unsatisfactory
Very modern. Up to date technology ie IPad control in rooms. Nice design features ie lighting and bathing. Breakfast expensive but excellent. Staff very friendly and still utterly professional.
This is the amazing hotel it’s not 5 star but say 10 star hotel with full service
Incredible hotel! I'll be back!
This hotel was spectacular - I ended up booking a few more nights with them the following week when I was back in Munich as I loved it so much. The hotel is sexy and far enough from the crowds as to not be overwhelmed. The beds were very comfortable. The service was fantastic - everyone was very attentive and helpful! The hotel gym was great (for hotel gym standards). The food and drink options were delicious. I will absolutely stay here again when I come back to Munich!
We loved our stay at Roomers....great hotel with cool vibes and delicious food in the restaurant! We will recommend it!
Interesting concept: Designed for young couples.
The hotel was very nice. It was interesting. The rooms were different buy interesting. It had a hallway that divided the bedroom from the bathroom. This was nice as you did not disturb anyone that was sleeping if you wanted to take a shower. The part I did not like was that it was not close to the activity. We had to either walk or take a train to all the tourist areas. Not that big of a deal since the S-bahn stopped right in front of the hotel.
I loved the premises and the staff were efficient and professional
Loved this boutique hotel. Short uber from thr center or a great 40 minute walk. Loved the decor, comfortable bed and ambiance.
It’s a great hotel, highly recommended! Cool design, nice location, pleasant staff.
Great hotel!
Loved this hotel! Very cool design and great amenities.....the room decor is awesome. The centre is a short tram away. Very friendly staff and the restaurant is phenomenal. Great vibe and atmosphere.
Great hotel, can't wait to return
The hotel is amazing. Staff are excellent, rooms are modern, comfortable and well equipped. This is a very high end hotel but the prices felt really reasonable for what we got.
Chic and sophisticated for the see and be seen crowd. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the room was stunning and the food was amazing.
Great stay
Had a great stay - very friendly welcome and the room was really cool. Large, well designed and comfortable. Try to get a room that’s not on the roadside - it’s not that noisy but might be for some.
Sexy Hotel!
Very sexy and fun hotel. Bar scene was great, good German restaurant and beirhaus across the street. Room was quiet, shower was awesome. Spa was also excellent.
Beautiful room
Amazing room, with comfortable bed and loved the free standing bath in the room.
Best hotel in Munich
Just a great hotel, one of the best I have ever stayed in.
Interesting place
Our 'deluxe' room had an ultra-modern flavor, including electronically controlled mood lighting, black floors, bathroom decorated in black color (walls, tiles, etc), complete with long hair area rug in front of bed with accent lighting. Hotel hallways were also decorated in black paneling. It just wasn't what we expected when we made the reservation. Very stylish hotel, but definitely NOT a family oriented place... unless your kids are into goth culture.
Not worth the bucks
Whilst the infrastructure of the hotel itself is pretty great, the hotel is lacking the service, from check in to housekeeping alike. Not exactly the friendliest people at the reception where everyone tries to redelegate to each other simply because they are so called "busy" with whatever they are engaged in, and end up having you stand around like a lost child trying to get attention (for quite some time). For housekeeping, they never really replenish the supplies in the room, and would still not cater to half of your request even after calling them for it. Most absurd thing was my balcony door was left open fully wide when I stepped into my room, which I felt the security was challenged. All in all, I might be paying the premium because of Oktoberfest, but shall I decide to come to Munich again, this hotel may not be the obvious pick.
Great Experience
As with all Autograph Collection Hotels that I have experienced so far, the hotel was very beautiful. We had our Oktoberfest tickets delivered there because we didn't think they'd arrive to the states in time and they were very accommodating about holding them for us. Check in was easy, valet service was fast, and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was great! If we are ever in Munich again, this is where we will staying.
Very nice not too far from Anything. Staff is awesome
nice luxury hotel
I had to wait until 3:45 pm to get my room... but I guess the hotel was very busy due to Oktoberfest.... that’s the single negativ point.... for the rest... everything was wonderful
Fantastic
From check staff to the cleaning lady was absolutely amazing. Friendly staff great ambiance at the bar. I have nothing to critical about my stay. Marko the door man was great recommended a great restaurant to go for dinner as we wanted to have Italian dinner.Edwina the housekeeper was amazing and very friendly. We are already planning our next weekend away and will be staying at the same place again.Room was fantastic clean and all the amenities in place.Florian steinmaier Hotel manager absolutely hands on in every department. Thank you for a lovely weekend.
Everything was great except for the lack of a desk and chair
Great for business
Fantastic hotel! I stayed here for business and loved the layout of the room and friendliness of staff
Gem
Always a pleasant experience. Very helpful staff and great trendy location near some amazing restaurants.
Just perfect!
Amazing hotel! Great service! Everything was absolutely fabulous!
Excellent staff, standard rooms a tad small
The hotel design is very qwerky, a good hotel for couples. Basic rooms are a bit small but sufficient and well layed out. The have a nice spa will a small pool too, good for resting tired legs. The location is very handy, 2 minutes tram ride to the Munich central station. The staff are the superstars of this hotel, I’ve never met a more efficient, young and friendly group, congrats on that. We would definitely return again.
Good hotels, beautiful rooms but poor service
It’s a beautiful hotel. Good rooms and comfortable bed. However the hotel can improve a lot in terms of their service. Some people on the front desk are very rude. You take security deposit of 100 Euros per night, the front desk misguided us to pay by card and said it will be returned the moment you check out. I checked out on 25 July and today is 16 August, I haven’t got my money back. I chased you guys multiple times, called you send several emails and this morning I received an email stating that you released my money on 6 August and couldn’t do it earlier because of technical issues. You guys take security if 100 Euros per night and I paid 300 euros for 3 nights.
Hotel right in the tram line which made it convenient to the city center. Very clean and nice.
Great hotel in Munich
The hotel is fairly new. The area by the check-in desk was nice and had a cute candy buffet that my kids would have loved. The bar was great and had an amazing staff. The sushi was very good. The hotel is a decent walk from the historic area of Munich. The hotel had some quaint restaurants within walking distance. The bed was too firm for us. We did find the hallway a little dirty. Our room was very clean. We had a nice patio off our room.
Great, but a little warm
Wonderful hotel near train Station. High-design rooms, cool little roof top bar and excellent restaurant. Service impeccable. Could not turn off the heated floor in bathroom and air conditioning was not strong enough.
Cool and quirky
Cool and quirky Breakfast was good We knew the hotel was a little out of the way, but there was very little in the local area. I felt the room was a little small.
Nicely done new hotel
Lovely new hotel with beautiful rooms and decor. The bedand bedding were very comfortable. The Japanese restaurant on site has a very nice atmosphere although it is a bit price. I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a quiet stay.
It was fine for the value but definitely do not recommend for families. The area was also inconvenient and we had to take cabs everywhere
Disappointed
Lovely and modern hotel and very nice rooms. Located on a busy road. All room info such as room service menus was on an iPad which did not work. I reported this and they said someone would come immediately and no one did. The minibar had the previous occupants half eaten food still in it, and was half empty. I reported to reception and nothing was done despite saying they would sort it. They were still there when I checked out. I had a room with a very large circular bath which took around 40 minutes to fill more then 1 inch. The air con did not seem very effective and had to leave the terrace door open all night as it was so hot. The double bed was covered with two single duvets. Not a great experience.
Great location and excellent breakfast buffet. Courteous staff. Need better orientation to room features ie lighting and how to order room service etc. Tram transportation conveniently located across the street.
Crowded but ok for a one night layover. Charged us for two rooms instead of one, still waiting on the refund…
