Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location

Beautiful, sleek, high-design hotel in the center of everything. Room was on the small side, but was well designed and well appointed and very comfortable. There was ample storage for clothes and luggage, and the bathroom was spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Madrid.

Clean, great staff, centric.... Will recommend and will stay again

The hotel is very well located, right at the entrance of the Chueca neighborhood, which might seem a bit "dodgy" at first but turns out to be very safe. The surrounding restaurants were fantastic. The proximity to Gran Via is definitely a big plus. The facilities were very clean, the staff attentive and helpful, the rooms spacious, with excellent noise isolation, and the blinds effectively blocked out the light. The rooftop was excellent and actually became my last stop each night after going out for a walk.

Decor in public areas very unusual, also lighting in corridors very dark. Not to my taste. However, room very bright/clean.

Great location, lovely hotel and staff

The staff is very standoffish. They didn’t seem to care about their customers almost border lime ignore them, but when they were changing shifts, they were really pleasant to each other so that means they can be nice if they try a little harder.

Funky style hotel

It’s a funky style hotel. The style size and comfort seems suitable for a younger crowd (in their twenties). The room felt like a cruise ship cabin, the hallway felt I was in a submarine.

Our stay in the mini suite was fantastic. The room was spacious and well designed. The very large balcony overlooking the plaza was amazing. The location is perfect for nightlife!

Not clean at all. Rated 4 stars hotel but I give them not more than two stars. Extremely dark in the hall and in the room. One of my request for the hotel was having AC unit. However they told us it is turned off in November. We were extremely hot and miserable.

Highly recommended, excellent staff, a block from Gran Via and chopping areas and close to restaurants very good.

Had a great stay at roommate Oscar, the hotel has such a cool vibe and decor. Very well situated and the rooftop bar has both good drinks and views. Bed was comfortable and room was large and clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Modern hotel located in the heart of Chueca. Very easy to access from Atocha or Barajas airport. Loved the size and comfort of the rooms. Beds were super comfortable. Overall a great option to stay in for its central location and yet very quiet.

great location, awesome to have a rooftop pool. our first room didn't have functioning AC so they moved us to another room which ended up being a little smaller and had an off-putting smell. other than that, the staff was very friendly and the hotel was a great stay. i will be back.

We found the room quite adequate. It was clean. I would have liked some USB charging points in the room, however, front desk staff were super helpful with device charging.

I got a room that is on the lowest floor in the atrium where the window faces an inside wall of a small atrium withno direct light. The issue is I was paying €200 per night which is same as other nicer rooms. Management should consider charging less for poor rooms than nicer rooms....it is unfair to charge same price for rooms of different calibre

I found a salamandra in my room and the staff insinuated that it was mine; rooms very small,carpet dirty.requested for a new room but I was denied Need a refund

Un hotel super cool y divertido, pero también muy cómodo. El staff fue muy servicial y abierto, la alberca en la terraza nos encantó. Lo único que no nos gustó mucho fue que las llaves de la regadera fueran tan confusas. Todo lo demás perfecto. Volveremos a hospedarnos ahí y en los demás hoteles de Room Mate en nuestros próximos viajes por España.

Limited space around the pool. Had 3 consecutive days where we were unable to sit by the pool in the afternoon. We chose this hotel specifically for the rooftop pool. Disappointing.

The staff was friendly, the rooftop pool is a great place to relax after walking the city. The room rates were competitive to larger hotel brands, and the room was equally as nice.

The hotel appears run down and the area around it is dirty. Very poor lighting on the floors. The music was unnecessarily loud. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Check in was smooth, good area if you want to hop into the bars and close to Gran Via. My room was on 7th floor, where guests can access rooftop bar (pretty cool view of Madrid ) from the stairs on that floor. However, lots of noise at midnight as people just talked on the floor corridor, and the noise from the bar bled in through the window.

Alvaro at the front desk was very helpful Room is standard; shower is great; they brag about eco friendly policies, but follow thru .. well, i never put a towel on the floor to request a replacement, but every day they put in fresh towels ... this in a country that struggles with drought ... pool deck is lovely early in the day, overcrowded in the afternoon .. hallway noise and bumping from above and alongside is notable

Lovely staff both upon checkin and bar..to breakfast. huge room! Management- pool side was a but shabby with a whole section reserved but nobody used it for 2 hours.. shame as guest i’d like to relax rather than the idea its being saved for evening use. would highly recommend as overall stay was fab! thanks

The location and service was excellent. The breakfast was nice and the room was sufficient for 3 people. The accommodation was modern but a bit more basic than expected. I would recommend it.

Nice stay in the middle of Downton Madrid

The rooms were excellent, guest services were very helpful and the rooftop pool and bar was a hit. The bartenders were very kind and friendly. They made us feel very welcome and we were in fact sad to leave. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I'm a regular customer. Location is great if you are acquainted with Madrid. It's well known as the gay area, although it's much more diverse than that. The hotel staff are always helpful and very polite. On the other hand after 10 stays, it's time for management to refresh the rooms.

Was a wonderdul stay. Loved the suite that overlooked the plaza below. Full of life, stores, restaurants and parking right there. Even happy to grab our starbucks for the drive home kn the way out!!

I fell and seriously injured my foot away from the property and hobbled back. The staff were all helpful and solicitous. Beside that, all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Would recommend this without hesitation.

Okay/Good hotel...odd room...uncomfortable pillows...excessively slow/overcrowded elevators....breakfast buffet not worth it (included or 14.95 each) same exact nasty scrambled eggs, baked beans, uncooked bacon, cut up hot dogs, cold quiche, rock hard breads, three cold cuts three cheeses, donuts, cereal, yogurt) all lacking flavor, not cold/hot, no variety....all warm food (luke warm) nasty or uncooked...vegtable mix was the exception...avoid it...cheaper better options than 30Euros for two breakfasts....if your gay it is central to all clubs/bars...right off Grand Via....it was an okay stay....would not return...better options all around same exact area.

Good But Not Great

Nice hotel, very well located in Madrid'S center. My room was a bit disappointing considering how much I paid. I expected a view on an upper floor. Instead, Iwas placed on the first floor in the rear of the hotel. Benefit: it was very quiet. The breakfast was only so-so. And service on the terrace was extremely disappointing: Very hot, a bit crowded and the server I had was slow and disrespectful. On the bright side, the front desk attendants were nice and spoke English.

This was a great place to stay in Madrid. Very central to all areas. The breakfast was really nice as well. We ended up briefly mentioning this was our honeymoon when we checked in. On the 4th night, we got a nice bottle of sparkling wine and a card in our room. That was a nice surprise. Ruben and the other staff were very nice. Would definetly stay again.

Very spacious and modern junior suite with an extremely comfortable bed! Good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Only disappointment was the roof bar being closed.
