Our stay was very good and satisfactory, my only issue was the aircorn was not working which blow me off a bit . But overall the place was clean, convenient, neat and check it was very easy.

The Standard Must Improve Immediately

Overall the place was clean and well prepared. The reception was efficient in assisting to check-in. However the room’s Air-conditioner was not working. So it was unimaginable to sleep in a Lodge in which the Air is not functional on this kind of weather and you paid. Other rooms next doors were occupied by young adults who made noise throughout the night busy drinking. Other noise maker were at sitting in front of the Lodge busy drinking and smoking. So I do not think I will ever sleep at this place again. Because I would to believe that there’s security in the area and they must also control noise level for the benefit of other customers. It felt like sleeping at a R500 per night B&B. There was no lotions and shower cap. Also the room had one power plug which implied that if one uses it to Iron clothes, you can’t charge phones or laptops.

Road Lodge Rustenburg

I had a comfortable stay. Reception friendly and helpful. The room was tidy. However, the aircon old fasion and somewhat noisy and the showerdoor not sealing properly causing a wet floor. But, I will make use of Rustenburg Road Lodge again.

It was generally a good stay, clean rooms and great food.

Hospittality was excellent, but for what you pay it was lacking amenities like basic fridgerator and up to date airconditioning. Breakfast should be inclusive what you pay at that price too.

Convenient location. But there was some noisy patrons somewhere on the property.

The service is good, especially from Tumisang at reception. We were given rooms close to a tree with nesting birds and the noise was unbearable during the night and early in the morning.

Noisy hotel

I have stayed here a couple of times, and on almost all these occasions there'd be guests maing noise in the passage in the middle of the night. I have never heard anyone reprimand these noise makers. And it's not as if the noise can't be heard from the reception

Horrible conditions of the room, a very uncomfortable bedding,, No proper room keep up, There was even no toilet brush,, Just a regret to hve booked at this place,,.

The Lodge was not up to the standard I was expecting. Very noisy. You can hear people taking in the rooms next door and in the hallway. There was an ant infestation so if you left any perishable items on the counters you would find them full of ants. No bar fridge. Only beds with torn sheets to sleep in and old towels in the bathrooms. Oh and coffee and tea are on offer. I would not recommend the place.

My room was 2 floors up and in the morning I had to go downstairs to get an iron because there are no phones. Worse when I got to the receptionist I was told to back and get my ID or Drivers license and before they help me. The breakfast is also bad, no variety.

Very noisy

It was very noisy...one could not rest well due to the noise. Sadly the are no phones in the rooms to call and report such noises..

The shower doors need to close completely so the water doesn’t escape on to the tile making it slippery wet. It’s just a suggestion. And the birds on the trees make too much noise in the evening and in the morning but it’s a beautiful stay

Service was bad. I checked in on 26 june 2021. I wanted the extra towel, they said i must bring dirty towel from the room. Which really poor service. How can guests bring down dirty towels. There was no phone in the room to talk to the reception. Staff was very arrogant. Only 2 sugar , 1 coffee and 2 teabags available. We will never come back in this Hotel again.

I liked that it is close to the mall, I could walk to the mall. What I did not like is the inadequate stuff in the room like there was a time when I had finished the toilet paper and all the reception people could say was 'it will be delivered', by house keeping and I had to wait until I could not anymore and went out and bought myself the toilet paper.

The best thing about the road lodge is its location within the waterfall mall shopping centre area so you could easy walk to all the shops. The wifi is free and fast, TV station selection not great, airconditioning is noisy. Otherwise great place

Good Stay-Over for Business

Hotel very well located in terms of close by restaurants and mall. Also not far from client where I had to do business. Pleasant view from window into the small garden. Accommodation was competitively priced and good value for money.

Had a wonderful stay in. Near to the Mall. Will definately come back again

Bad experience at Travel Lodge Rusterburg

I had book a disability room and was told that they will confirm the availability and they didn't do so.. Then I had to drive there and only found the room booked and was disappointed. Also it looks like if you have booked through booking sites they can't help you with other preferences. I really didn't enjoy my stay at all.

A night in a snooker”s room

As a none smoker and having to spend nights in a smoking area was 👎 for me. The 1st night could not sleep, found room stuffy as the carpets absorb the smoke

The property is very close to the main road so it’s noisy in the room, no elevator and no bath as advertised on Expedia. The staff however were very friendly and efficient

Everything was fine until some children started running and shouting in passage ways in the early hours of a Sunday morning and nothing was done about it. Televisions should be adjusted to fill the whole screen.

Good stay but noisy

Nice room, was clean and comfortable, just small. Had everything you will need for a night’s stay. Didn’t have drinking water in the room which wasn’t nice. Our room was close to reception and the dining room and there was a crowd of people Saturday evening who were quite loud, so we had trouble getting to sleep.

It was a good stay

Room air conditioner sounded like a lawn mower on steroids. On the afternoon of check-in I asked the guy doing the check-in whether breakfast was included, he said that it was and then provided the times at which breakfast would be available. The next morning at check-out we were told that we had to pay for breakfast as it was not included. This is no on!!!

Rooms was basic but fitted our need. Very noisy travellers that kept us awake all time and phone in room did not work so could not phone reception to ask for assistance in getting the noise levels down. Love the pool area and local is great

I enjoyed my stay there except for the swimming pool that was not cleaned at all and I was disappointed.The breakfast was so good including the fresh fruit salad to die for.The staff were clued up and friendly.I went out for a day and when I came back my access control card was not working so I went back to the reception and it was sorted immediately so I was not sure if it was part of security precaution or not, but if it was, then I am so impressed with security measures.

my stay was horrible. there was just to much noise throughout the night for the 2 nights I spend there. Room 16 which I was staying in was one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in any hotel. this was a disabled room and nobody ever said anything about the room and I had the shock of my life to learn that I have been booked in that room. I did not have value for my money at all and feel like I have been ripped off.
