Weekend in city
Overall place was good and convenient, needed a hairdryer and some upgrades to rooms in general
This was a truly a very disappointing stay. Staff were not very helpful or polite. We stayed somewhere different to what was advertised, there was no people around when we left and had to ring the manager. He told us in a very rough (sounded hungover) to leave the key under the mat. It was very loud with a pub playing live music next door. There was no door on the shower. Internet didn’t work.
Good place
Property is tired. There is no shower screen on main bathroom. Parking is a big issue with none at the unit and only street parking if available some distance away. Reception is located 1knm from site. Directions given at checkin were not adequate he night we stayed the property was very expensive.
Difficult check in and out. $200 bond that takes 6 days to be realised back to your account. The owner/ manager let themselves into the house before check out for unscheduled maintenance and housekeeping were in the property at 8am cleaning.
I booked 2 units (One 3 beds room apartment and one 1 bed room apartment) for my family. It turned out they gave us the keys for 2 town houses and there was a 10 mins driving distance in between the 2 houses. It was very inconvenient. The Air-Con could not be adjusted on each floor of the house. Some of my family menber had to sleep in the living room couch as the top floor bed room was too hot.
Needs updating, dirty and broken couches Smoke marks in kitchen table and faulty chair legs. Need to maintain furniture. Beds broken too. Will not return given this
Disorganised checkin/checkout/service
Disorganised check in and check out. Check in hrs are are very short and is a 10 min walk from the unit..... with all of your bags this is not particularly convenient. Apartments are in a good location but neighbours had a really loud party one night till 1 pm... could have called the after he number but that costs $25... website information was different to email instructions... very amateur outfit. Apartments are pretty run down..but have everything you need in them, you get what you pay you pay for.
Nice big apartment close to transport (including the free City bus and the tram) and Victoria market. Only thing is property is starting to feel old.
Love the location with easy access to tram, shops markets and restaurants.
Location, cleanliness excellent. Unsure over check out as the information package listed the office open on Sunday from 0800, the note on the door said 0930, the answering machine said 0800 but no-one turned up until 1000. We did leave our keys in the after-hours box but there were a few people waiting outside the office who advised us that they had read that people were having trouble getting bonds back and as ours was $200 we wanted to make sure that the facility knew our keys were in the drop box. Otherwise a good stay.
Location, cleanliness and lay out of unit, the only possible suggestion I could make is having the queen bed in the room with the on suite.
Very clean and convenient to free city trams. Parking in garage is very tight.
Would not return or recommend to others.
Reported frig was not working to three different people before the issue was rectified.Had to run hot water tap for five minutes without cold to have a shower. Left personal pillow behind. Left phone messages 3 and email to pick up. No response. Spoke to higher authority who said he would find out and return call That was 7 days ago.
It wasn't overly clean. The heating was on cold when we arrived and it was a particularly cold night.
Great location, quiet area, friendly staff, apartment has all your requirements
I liked the balcony, and the lockup garage, nice not having to park in the street or find a drive-up parking complex
Apartment and location was great.
Quiet, close to everything, cheap, spacious and 2 bedrooms is excellent for the price
Position and size of roons Bedroom on ground level with shower room for older people
A great location to the city centre. Plenty of room in the apartment for all my family members.
Like th location and easy access to tram and nearby markets and restaurants.
I would not recommend staying at this accommodation. While the location is excellent, the cleanliness of the apartment was terrible. The kitchen cupboards and appliances hadn't been cleaned, there were marks on the bedside tables, all the light switches were dirty and the bed had dirty marks on it. The bedding was also disgusting. The doona is covered by two sheets that don't keep it off you. The doona was stained and dirty. We found broken glass in the courtyard outside which was very dangerous as we had a small child with us. The bin is left outside the front door. One morning I came downstairs and there was a man going through our bin. This left me feeling quite unsafe in the apartment. I complained about the condition of the apartment and asked for the bin to be moved. No action was taken on the cleanliness of the apartment, and the bin was only moved for one day. For the price we paid, the cleanliness and level of service needs to be greatly improved.
Comfortable, spacious apartments near the centre of the city, close to the tram and close to Gouger St restaurants, the Central Market & Chinatown, but no interesting outside view to speak of. Downstairs lounge area could have done with more light and the kitchen table surface appeared damaged by previous guests. Crockery and cutlery mismatched, but we're not too bothered by that. There was no "do not disturb' sign for the front door, so the cleaner let herself in while we were still there. Other than the cleaner and the very friendly receptionist at check-in, we had little contact with staff because of the public holiday weekend. One of the master bedroom bedside lamps' globe blew on the last day, so we left it unscrewed on the table so a cleaner would see it to having it changed. Overall a good experience and suited our purpose with a family of 4 including 2 teenagers, would be happy to stay again.
Great Accommodation in a Nice location
The apartment is well equipped, and clean. It is also spacious and very convenient place to restaurants, market, CBD.
Great value quality serviced apartment in Adelaide
Great value quality serviced apartment. Tip: If you bring a car, make sure it’s on the small to medium side if you want to use the garage attached to your apartment. Not sure if all garages are the same size but our rental Mitsubishi ASX would only just fit. Otherwise perfect.
Great location with access to tram, buses, restaurants, market and all the good things that Adelaide has to offer. This place gets my repeat visits.
Felt like I was ripped off
Went downhill on arrival. Booked and paid online $210, on arrival they wanted a further $300 for deposit and no parking was available- (only a small car would of fitted anyway ) so paid the deposit which apparently is in the fine script.. not that I seen, and then told can take up to 21 days to refund it in my departure .. why? Because it’s my bank I was told .. but the bank clarified otherwise that they are waiting for the merchant Responce.. So I don’t like fine script or being lied to or the fact if you rate them five stars you can get rewards. .. beside this room presentation was ok two story. But very hollow so you can hear a toilet next door the curtains didn’t block out the alley lights in the bedroom and bed felt very lumpy and the worse mattress I have slept in the kitchen benches were very worn and it cost me around $46 in parking just down the road so all in all just under $600 and I’m still chasing the dam deposit.
Great place near to the city centre. 2 Bath rooms. Place to put your car. Just a good layout
Great location
We’re not notified upon booking that a $500 bond would be taken on arrival. Poorly cleaned , great location , old misleading information on places to eat eg restaurants shut down. Bins were full and smelly and only one roll of toilet paper. Very dissatisfied
Just right in Adelaide
This 3 bedroom apartment gave everyone their privacy whilst having a great shared living area and kitchen. Well located in the city precinct, this apartment is in walking distance of all the downtown Adelaide landmarks, or catch the free connector bus 1 block away. Also within one block are restaurants and the supermarket.
Living like a local
South of Chinatown, near the free Tram line to Rundle Mall, a garage included too - you have everything you need to live like a local in the city for the time of your stay.
Carpark too small
Bed is main room very uncontrollable. Could feel springs thru bed. Carpark provided was tiny and ridiculously difficult fir large cars to get in. Chose to park in street.
Most Disappointing Accommodation
We found several issues relating to Unit 51 Sturt Street, Adelaide 1. The main bedroom’s bed was quite possibly the worst bed we have ever slept in at any establishment offering accommodation. Not only was the mattress terrible but the bed frame was wobbling both sideways and backwards and forwards. It felt like it could have broken at any time. 2. The doona/quilt provided on both beds were not even in a cover. The one on the main bed had a strange stain on it and was quite disgusting. We ended up throwing this off the bed and didn’t use it for stay. 3. Both toilets upon arrival barely had any toilet paper on either roll, this ran out quickly and there wasn’t any additional toilet paper provided in either storage space in the bathrooms. We ended up purchasing our own for the remainder of the stay. 4. We also booked a two bedroom apartment and were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment by management. This wasn’t an issue however to receive a letter advising if we were to utilise this space in our apartment we would be charged additional fees seemed a little peculiar considering this was a choice by management to give us this space and not what we requested. The bed in the spare room would have been more comfortable to sleep in than the main bedrooms bed. 5. The apartment had a dishwasher available, this facility couldn’t be used because there was no dishwashing tablets provided to utilise this facility. 6. We couldn’t get out of the driveway onto the main road on the Saturday
A good but not great place to stay in Adelaide
RNR was an OK place to stay. It was spacious and had a kitchen and washer/dryer, which we really needed. There are lots of restaurants close by, and its very convenient to buses and the tram. The internet service wasn't very good, and the cookware provided was dirty when we got there, and pans were scratched. I was really busy the whole time there, so I never complained about these aspects, so I don't know how good the management would have been about rectifying them.
Handy location
Staff were very helpful, good facilities and excellent sized rooms
Crap
Terrible reception staff, too busy with themselves than to help. Crap beds, crap facilities, wont be recommending or staying again.
A bit tired and tatty but ok.
Located near the Glenelg-Entertainment Centre tram. Near a Coles and an IGA, in a quiet area. Self check in was easy. Apartment was reasonably clean and adequately appointed. Bedding and towels were clean. Carpet a bit grubby and the black sofas had white blotchy stain marks that left you wondering what or who had been conceived on them. No housekeeping for the first 2 days and not more than 7-minutes on the 3rd day, after I phoned reception to ask why they had not come. If you don’t need a pristine place and are happy making your own bed and emptying your dustbins, the worn feel of the place and lack of service won’t bother you.
layout very good. Great location.
Parking is very tight- took several attempts to reverse into garage ( receptionist's advice) Although I notice in other reviews they claim to have valet parking but staff did not tell us this. I only read about it in my apartment after I had parked the car. Office hours are advertised until 8 p.m on website and information brochures. On second night of our stay I needed assistance from Reception. I was told I had arrived just in time ( it was before 6p.m.) When I questioned about Office Hours being to 8 p.m, I was advised that they were changing to Winter Hours ( Friday night and the first night of the April school holidays) An unusual time to change and nowhere did it mention Winter Hours. Unfortunately our oven did not work. The Receptionist came to have a look at it and rang the Night Manager for assistance. At this stage the best he could offer was to come and look at the oven at 10 p.m.that night. (a little late for dinner) We were given the key to another apartment to use the oven. Unfortunately only the grill worked in that apartment. Another guest was also using the clothes drier in the apartment as his was not working. When I returned the key to the other guest as we could not use the oven, I rang the Night Manager to let him know who had the key. I found his manner to be abrupt, almost bordering on rude. He did eventually offer to come and look at the oven but as it would have been too late to cook dinner, I declined. Not the best experience I have had on holiday
Do not stay here.
Do not stay this hotel. Shocking all in all shocking. They don’t even give you your Bond back. They make up lies to keep it!
Very comfortable, great location, close to trams and other facilities. Not happy about my credit card being charged a bond in advance (in case of damage) and would not be recredited for up to 10 days or more, also not happy at having my credit card and driver’s licence photocopied otherwise all good
r n r apartment adelaide
Surprisingly big for a city apartment all the facilities you need not too far a walk to city restraints and shops
Perfect location for City and eating places
Loved the spacious apartment with all facilities as described. Close to all amenities especially restaurants and shops. Quiet location. Would be rated 5 with a little TLC on paintwork and decor. We had a great 6 days away and a wonderful experience in Adelaide.
Good stay
Fit our needs very nicely. Plenty of room. Easy walk to everything.
good location, easy to catch bus and tram
spacious room and very comfortable, good choose for family with kids
A few mozzie, aircon below standard, car park to small
Great apartment in a great location
Great apartment in a great location, needed a little TLC
Watch the neighbours
Watch out for the neighbours, fancy not being able to go out onto the balcony after 10pm. It was hot night and my 21 year old son and I went out there for about 15 minutes, talking quietly/no music or anything - came back inside to find a voice and text message from the night manager advising us of the complaint he'd received and threatening a $100 fine, wow what a Christmas message. Place good do with a refresh/good clean, was ideal for our three adult children and us, three bathrooms, three bedrooms, good sized kitchen/living areas.
fantastic spot for any short city stay
Perfect place for the Pageant
Nice hotel but not for fun people
After getting back to the apartment from having dinner, my partner, myself and another couple, put some music on inside on a small Bluetooth speaker, nothing crazy, after 20 mins of sitting outside at around 10:30pm, we get a bang on the fence and an angry request to go to the front door, i was than give a clear written warning for breeching contract for being outside under (our private) patio after 10pm, not even aloud to go our our private balconies after 10pm. i was never shown this contract, nor did i sign it, but being told if i or anyone wants to smoke after 10pm i must leave the premises to do it, being warned in an angry manner any threatened of being fined for not knowing in the first place and for something so small and petty, ruined this experience for us, in all respect this stupid rule in the contract needs to be changed because its bulls@$t to be honest. Other than this the place is ok
Great Location
Very short walk to tram stop; staff friendly enough; we drive a Pathfinder and whilst parking was tight we backed in and drove out without too much hassle. Staff did ring me 3 times in 2 days to double check what time we were checking in including 1/2 hour before we checked in. Apartment was neat and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Street noise was not an issue at all, large bathrooms and block out curtains. Comfy mattresses. Pretty good price for a CBD apartment will definitely be staying here again.
Lied to me
I would never stay there again, they said they needed to put my credit card thru just for a security thing, for 200 , and they said it won't come out of my account. It went out straight away and has not gone back in. Then they denied it , after arguing with them , they finally said they did and it won't go back in to 5-8 working days. They are a bunch of liers . Worst experience ever
Good place to stay nr CBD
Booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 employees, and they said it was a great place to stay
Nice, clean room. Good location. Carpark handy but very small and hard to drive in.
One night to chill
Rooms were nice, happy to have a nice comfy bed and a place to chill for a night... ordered some Uber eats, all good
Overnight stay
Good location with good facilities. Great stay for a trip to the footy!
Top appartments close to city
Great staff with exellent knowledge of the city .Clean and tidy appartments with exellent facilities
Good location great for families unfortunately the lounge had springs coming through so not very comfortable
Broken bed, skid marks in the s bend, short change
Could not access the car park. $30 per hour for late check out, even after sleeping on the floor due to a broken bed. Ripped off on the wifi. Couldn't access the car park I paid for for an hour afte check in.
Budget accommodation
Arrived on a public holiday and was told the keys to the apartment would be accessible with a code, the code box did not work so had to call the night manager. He tried to charge us a surcharge for calling him out when it was no fault of ours. We were then given the keys to an apartment on Wakefield st instead of the Sturt street we wanted for access to the trams etc. the Wakefield st apartment was an inconvenient location to what we wanted. It was a bigger apartment than what we booked. 3br 3 bathrooms. One bedroom didn't have a door which was weird. The 2 bathrooms up stairs need a good clean, grout is filthy and mould in the silicon. 2 out of 3 beds were super uncomfortable as well as the lounges. They told us this was their biggest apartment and cost more than what we paid but would let us stay in it for no extra. I wouldn't have paid extra as I believe it is definitely budget accommodation. It does the job but there are definitely areas of improvement required.
Convenient location
Location is close to the area's that i need to go to. spacious enough for a family of 3 or 4 with 2 bathrooms, split levels and comfortable.
close to tram and eateries
The location is good and the place itself was fine. But the service was well below par. We had a walk in wardrobe with only one coat hanger. I asked 3 times for some more hangers to hang my business suits and shirts but they never came. There was also what looked like blood splatter on the side of the walk in wardrobe. I asked three times for that to be cleaned and again it didn't happen. What's more on the final request the lady on reception said to me that she was trying her best and couldn't do much more. Unbelievable. I travel to Adelaide for 3 days a fortnight as I have a business there. I won't be staying here again. I always stay at Franklin Apartments and find the staff there incredibly helpful. Due to fringe festival they were booked out. I can see why R&R were not.
Great apartment in a perfect location
RNR Serviced apartments let me stay close to Vic Square and Hutt Street for a series of very difficult meetings. The perfect place to relax, keep ahead of my schedule, and even enjoy a meal at the best restaurants in Adelaide.
Unexpected joy - just next to the Kings Head
A remarkable place so close to Victoria Square. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge and kitchen area, and a laundry with washer and dryer. Could not believe how comfortable and convenient it was. Will be staying again at my earliest opportunity.
comfortable and convenient
Good location
Can be very noisy at night due to a discotheque just next door.
The appartments were in a great area, close to the city etc. The first night the bedding was stained and somewhat untidy. The second night after rebooking due to circumstances, the apartment had cockroaches in the kitchen and again was somewhat untidy. The car parking on both occasions was very tight. I have a twin cab ute and the second night I had to remove the bar from the front of my vehicle to get it to just fit in the garage. It is quite close to a live music venue and this was very evident on Wednesday night.
Great Freindly service nice location very priv
Great service and support. Very friendly staff.
Great for walking to China town restaurants & convenient to free tram travel within CBD
Negatives 1. Road noise 2. Carpets stained and dirty 3. Kitchen floor not quite clean and kitchen had a pervasive aroma of grease. 4. Lounge furniture worn out. 5.Matress needs replacing
Shonky stay and then charged my credit card extra
Stay was disappointing, garages cannot fit anything other than a smalllllll car, bed was like sleeping on a plastic sheet, AC barely copes with any weather, dog barking next door, workers at 7.00am needing vehicles moved, then a parking ticket to top it all off after I moved the car for workers
A good but disappointing promise/
Great concept - disastrous application. A real pity because it really would not take much to make it fully acceptable. Start by making the room numbering sensible. Having the hotel's own room numbering on 50mm high stickers on the door in darkness clashing with large numbers of the surrounding apartments (which use the actual street numbers) make finding the room when checking in late a real challenge. Next easy fix is to throw out the couches on which what little padding the originally had has collapsed and replacement - It should be easily possible to get better couches for $50 from the local op shop. finally and most important give the place a thorough clean. dirty cups in the cupboard on arrival suggest poor performance from the cleaning staff but only management can arrange to have the carpets cleaned and walls washed once or twice a year. Great location near Adelaide central market, handy to the tram but easy walking distance to everything of interest in Adelaide. We had problems with construction work making a noise but that was a one-off and should not be considered as a problem, particularly as we were offered a move to a different room.
Unit looked a lot nicer in the ad
Started by getting the hurry up to check in as the check in closed at 6pm, I originally thought 8pm. So we checked in found out there was a $ 150 security deposit, we werent told about that, no problem, dont know why it takes 7-10 days to refund though (pretty sure thats what they said), wnet to room and a dog was barking in another unit, couldnt fit the car into the garage so had to leave it out in the courtyard, like 2 others also, so we were boxed in all night. Bed was horrible, solid plastic mattress with no underlay just a sheet on plastic, come on !!!. workmen arrived around 730 am so I moved the car out into the street so they could get access, got a parking ticket. terrible experience the whole lot and will never stay again. Sorry but thats the truth.
Great location
Great location, free transport 20metres from apartment, walking distance to all CBD attractions
Central apartments in Adelaide
The space was a luxury and we had an attached garage which we didn't need .
Great Townhouse, close to all venues.
Excellent place to stay. Walking distance to the City and all dining areas. Excellent for what we wanted.
Nice rooms, secure parking, short walk to cbd
Had a great stay, great location, tram stops out front or short walk to cbd. Clean and well set out. Very reasonable pricing too
Great stay
Very nice big spacious place
Nice and clean hotel close to the market
All you need in the apartment and close to all the facilities in the cbd
Repeat customer
Stayed here before and will do again. Practical unit for families and well priced.
Lovely appartments
Beautiful appartment, easy to get to and lovely staff
A great location to get to the market and the many restaurants in the area and to catch public transport. Well organized kitchen with comfortable surroundings. The garage is extremely tight to get into. If you are renting a car, make sure it is small.
Excellent position and value
The appartment was excellent value and well positioned to all services and tourist attractions. Your own garage made having the hire car easy for the country tours. Everything else needed was in walking distance. A great place to stay for seeing the football.
Excellent
Very clean comfortable accommodation in excellent central location with fantastic friendly helpful staff
apart from difficulty getting into parking space was a very enjoyable stay.
Had an issue with no cold water in shower but it was dealt with quickly. However maintanance man just let himself into apartment without knocking.
Overall good value for money
Service: half service one room not;
Quick trip to Adelaide
I thought these apartments were great :) more then what I expected :) When I first arrived I honestly thought I made a bad decision booking to stay here, the receptionist I thought was pretty rude and she was acting a little put out by her job. She gave us the wrong roller door key and when I returned it she was annoyed and wanted me to go back and close the wrong door. Other than this particular receptionist I thought it was great and the staff on the morning of departure were really nice, I just wish I had same people on arrival :) I would recommend for people to stay here but say don't bring a large car as the parking area in the town houses are very tight but no fault of the business :)
Facilities: Basic; Value: Fantastic; Service: Sufficient; Cleanliness: Pleasant;
great location
The apartment was well equipped, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The under cover car park attached to the apartment was great, no worries about the safety of our hire car, but a little small, glad we didn't have anything bigger than a corolla to park!! A 10 minute walk and your are in the city. Definitely recommend!!
Facilities: Nice , Two bathrooms. Good AC. ; Value: Affordable; Service: Professional; Cleanliness: Lovely; Good pub next door
Facilities: Nice ; Value: Great deal; Service: Pleasant; Cleanliness: Pleasant; There is quite a bit of room in townhouse. It would be good for a small family. There are stairs though.
Facilities: Tired; Value: Average price; Service: Polite; Cleanliness: Lacking, Smelt like stale smoke;

No contact as yet from manager
Property was just what we needed for weekend away. Close to public transport and Dining options but far enough away that there was no noise overnight.
