let’s start with the great transportation great hotel wonderful stuff. Excellent beach view. Very nice parties and very clean property. They take care of every details for sure. I will be back.

The hotel is clean and in a great location. I ate at the Mexican restaurant, the buffet, via room service, and at the pool. Besides the buffet the service was extremely slow. The staff were all very friendly and were working hard but I think the hotel is understaffed which I think is why the service was so slow.

We loved the fact that we could walk to La Isla mall and nice restaurants in less that 5 min. The resort was kept very clean and the staff members were very pleasant. One of the best buffet setups I've been to and the food was always fresh.

Some of the theme restaurants were not great but overall happy with the food. Buffet was excellent and the elite club restaurant was really good. Best alcohol selection over other Riu’s in other countries!!!

This resort was so clean, and the staff were absolutely wonderful!! The food was also the best we’ve had at a resort in Cancun!! The ocean was pretty rough, so I didn’t go in it much. There could have been more games at the pool area. The evening shows and bands were OK.

The room was wonderful

We absolutely loved staying here! Food was great view and rooms were great. There we many siren because we are next to the police station and fire station and hospital which also made us feel safer! Staff was amazing Emmanuel was great all week bartenders, Leo in the buffet every morning, Oscar in the steak house. We got engaged this last week and Carolina took amazing photos for us and helped my finance plan the whole surprise. We will be coming back as soon as we can.

Great property. Thankfully, This isn’t the party hotel you might expect. They do have shuttles to the Riu party hotel down the street. Around 6-7 restaurant options for dinner. Lots of beach chairs by the ocean. Cabanas are available to those in Elite club.

Celebrated my birthday here and truly felt special and relaxed during my five night stay. My boyfriend and I did upgrade to elite club and felt it was well worth it. Would definitely recommend

The staff here were amazing, food was great, location was great, the place was so clean and you could tell they care about their facility. We would reccomend this resort to anyone. If you can I’d suggest getting the elite club!

I have stayed at numerous all-inclusive resorts in Cancun. Real Palace cuckoo con is one of the best. Everything was outstanding, including food, staff, and the property itself.

I definitely would recommend a stay here overall with a few caveats. First, if you want a King bed choose a room that only offers a King bed option. It was a bit misleading when I chose a room that stated 2 doubles OR King. Well, when I got there, there were no Kings available nor was there an option to upgrade the room, so we were stuck sleeping in a very small double bed. Second, the food was exceptional in every restaurant except the steak house. I ordered the New York strip and it was so tough I couldn't eat it. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked correctly. Also, they forgot to bring the side dish I ordered as well. On the other hand, the Krystal restaurant is truly world class, both in food quality and service. The Buffet is also exceptional. The hotel is immaculately clean, and the rooms are beautiful. The beach and pools were amazing.

Clean and fun and relaxing!

I had a wonderful stay at the Riu in Cancun and would definitely return. The entire resort was impressively clean, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It managed to be both fun and relaxing at the same time—a perfect balance for a vacation. There are four pools to choose from, each offering something different: the lively fun pool, a quiet pool for relaxation, the elite pool, and another that offered a mix. I personally avoided the fun pool as it often felt overcrowded and the water wasn’t the most inviting. That said, the variety was appreciated. While lunch options were a bit limited in terms of restaurants, the grill provided a decent alternative. I didn’t try the à la carte restaurants for dinner, but the buffet was excellent across the board—for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The lobby bar was a lovely spot to unwind, and the service throughout the resort was fantastic. I didn’t catch any of the nightly shows, but I heard positive things from other guests. I used the gym, which was just okay. It could benefit from an upgrade—it felt small, lacked modern equipment, and didn’t offer great views. On the other hand, the massage I got at the spa was absolutely fantastic. One of the highlights for me was the room. The views were stunning, and elite club members have access to a private area with comfortable day beds—a great perk. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

The restaurant food wasn't that great but the room and the pools were amazing.

I loveddd this resort so much everything was 10/10 food service views location. My only complaint was our bed was not comfortable and were more springy then soft and comfy. Even with that I’d stay again for sure. Front desk attempted to move me but I would have had to pay more. So room service added more pillows to try to soften the bedding

It’s a small resort, which we liked. plenty of food options. the only bad part is the grill at the pool for lunch. rooms are nice and the beach is gorgeous.

There arent enough amazing adjectives to describe how much i loved this resort. It was fun, on a beautiful stretch of beach and the service was impeccable from the moment we pulled up to the front doors. The rooms are comfortable as are the beds (kind of wish they were queen size instead of double). The views are breathtaking from the beach or the numerous pool areas to lounge in sun or shade with multiple infinity pools. Miguel at the pool and loungers had the kindest attitude while doing arduous work of moving loungers and heavy umbrellas all day. Down to the pepes daily bbq guy who fixed my dads plate just right. Down to every waiter and bar tender. Even the hand sanitizer man was the best. Its a few minutes drive to the coco bongo crazy nightlife area but they have so much entertainment there youll never want to leave. I would say what i hope for next time i go is their own late night DJ adult only party as an alternative to the white or jungle party for those over 30. The night entertainment was also excellent, hence why i think you keep the adult vibes going on the property lol rather than party bussing 30-80 yr olds to a vegas 21 yr old pool party at riu caribe being the only entertainment option on Wednesdays. Just have a dj dance party in white for those wanting to skip the foam party. Property was beautiful & clean and fun! But it was the workers who made it an EXCEPTIONAL stay. Oh and the food was also all incredible. Cant wait to go back!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was top-notch, starting with the outstanding cleanliness—every area, from the rooms to the common spaces, was spotless and well-maintained. The food was absolutely delicious, and the on-site restaurants offered a great variety with excellent service. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the La Isla mall, close to the aquarium and everything you need. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great hospitality!

everything here is just perfect. Beach is awsome, you can find space on the beach or around the 3 pools at any time during the day.

I truly can't say enough good things about this place. My wife and I just came back from a 5-night stay. I chose it because it was only 3 years old and had received many great reviews. We had a full ocean view room. The food was good and so many varied options for the buffet area. As usual during our travels, it truly is the staff and people that make the stay awesome & memorable. This place will truly be a "Go To" when in Cancun or at least when we need a short stay away from Life.

The property clean and well-kept and the beach views were stunning. The staff was incredible, in particular Antonio and Montserrat always greeted us with a smile in the dining room and went out of their way to make our stay special. I would definitely go again!

The property is excellent from the food to the staff very accommodating. I would definitely recommend and definitely would stay again. The entertainment was amazing too, I’ve seen reviews that said they don’t have enough entertainment but they give you just enough because there is party events at another Riu property. They shuttle u there and back to the property. Most people go to the parties. But this property is 10/10.

Everything was great accept for the room. Staff were kind and helpful. Food was delicious. View and pool were amazing. However, the bathroom did not have great ventilation so it made the room humid and the air stuffy. Each morning, my wife woke up coughing because of it. However, the staff changed our room, and the ventilation was better in the second room. Aside from that hiccup, it was a great stay.

The property was beautiful. Very clean! Attentiveness was very good! Liked the variety of available restaurants on site. Some of the food at the restaurants were overcooked. Not a lot of activities to do o property. Did not like how the transfer to and from airport/hotel were arranged

Beautiful hotel, immaculately clean and absolutely the best staff service. The property is lovely, and the restaurants offer excellent and delicious food choices. The only downside is the noise at night from the partying which was annoying and surprisingly loud. I guess that is the downside of going to an adult only resort, I would rather hear children’s laughter, my bad!

Loved the resort, the staff, and the location. A mid to upscale mall was in walking distance, the airport was about 20 minutes away. Loved this place. Will definitely return.

All inclusive! Only bad experience was sometimes servers wouldnt acknowledge us when we would try to ask for drinks or even beach umbrellas

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful, modern, great food, amazing staff!

Excellent stay, great service and newer, clean resort. Great pools with plenty of lounge chairs and shade available. Quality of food is good and readily available. Only issue was with over cooked steak, excessively salted steak, bland overcooked lobster tail. Room service was also excellent as was keeping the room stocked with drinks and snacks.

The staff was accommodating and the food choices were a lot better than expected!

Property is beautiful and rooms are nice. The entertainment though is the same every night and when it's not, like casino night, it just felt half assed. Just feels more like a property where older people go tonpretend to be in their 20s again. The food at Pepe's is also the same every day with 1 special item like wings or ribs...but always hot dogs and hamburgers. The staff is super friendly and security was prompt when we called at 3am about someone next to our room singing and blaring music on the balcony. This is the 2nd year in a row we've been here and probably will not be back.

Very clean excellent service great food great drinks and entertainment definitely worth it 10/10 definitely recommend. Would absolutely return and tell family and friends about my great experience.

Went for a quick trip to get away and relax. Was a very nice place to stay, clean, great service, and friendly staff. Being from Chicago, we are good lovers so food at restaurants could have been a little to match the atmosphere. Overall great quiet place for an adult only stay.

Great adults-only hotel in Cancún!

This hotel was a great find! The facilities were excellent, offering everything I needed and more. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, and I appreciated the attention to detail. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The restaurants were good overall but the service was excellent and the Coffee bar was my favorite! Pools were good and the view of the ocean amazing. Gym was great too. Walking to La Isla mall was okay but there was not much that was walkable near the hotel so Taxi or Uber required to get around town.

Overall happy with stay at this resort. First visit. I would return. Great view of beach and ocean from all pools and hotel. Beach access easy and plenty of chairs. We spent most our time on beach rather than pools. Was neat to have three pool choices. Beautiful grounds and trees. Food was ok, typical of resort all inclusive style food. The Asian and Italian restaurants were our favorites. They are small but we only had to wait for a bit one night and was able to sit right away three other nights. Service is fast and polite! Enjoyed my stay here in Cancun!

Clean and beautiful. Though there are odd banging of pipes? in the middle of the night.

They kicked me out of the hotel on the evening of my first day of check-in. As a solo traveler, they left me out for the evening and did not care at all. Only because of a misunderstanding, because of the exaggeration and slander of their own employees about me, did the hotel manager let me out of the hotel.. While returning from the pink party outside the hotel, the working animator girl told me harshly that the girl sitting next to me was drunk so dont talk her not kiss smtg . İ also mood I was a bit drunk . Thats normal thats why we choose Riu . and I tried to tell her that I hadn't done anything anyway and that the drunk girl had kissed me too. There was no forced situation. After all, the girl fell asleep and we didn't do anything and I wasn't doing anything at that moment anyway. The animator girl held my arm and spoke to me and I just pushed her hand away so that she would let me go. It was only a 5-minute conversation. We had arrived at the hotel. That girl exaggerated this incident to the manager and they took me out of the hotel. We are coming for a vacation. Everyone can drink alcohol and get close. There was nothing to exaggerate here and they sent me away because the animator girl told the incident differently. I am very sorry. I was really innocent but they left me without warning me. They didn't return my money either. Doesn't it upset you at all to do such an injustice and leave us in a difficult situation? How will you sleep soundly? They are heartless

This hotel is a solid 7. Pros: Location, food Cons: Service, they never actually solve any issue, and make mistakes all the time. The resort is ok but for the money you can find something so much better.

The property was on the must beautiful stretch of beach. Pools were small, food was pretty good for an all inclusive. We would return if looking for a resort in this price range.

You can hear a lot of street traffic even on the oceanfront side of the property. Beachfront was fantastic. Food was ok. Asian and steakhouse were good. Italian and dinner buffet I’d skip. They should Move the crepe station To breakfast instead Of dinner. Shower in the room was the best feature

Wow... what a fabulous resort. My taxi was met by an attenndent who opened my door and whisked my bags to the lobby. Check-in was fast, while I sipped on a glass of sparking champagne. It just got better from there! The food was exceptional, and the buffet was an ever changing delight. Beaches were clean with attendants who grabbed chairs, umbrellas, and drinks for us. The lobby bar was filled with laughter, and there was always something going on. Pools were great! Rooms were clean, and the refrigerator was filled daily with beer and plenty of water. Therenwere full sized bottles of alcoholic hoices in your room and mixers. ***** Too much to describe. It's a very classy place! Did I mention 24hour room serice?

Great location, excellent service, great pools and service at pools. Food selection is marginal. The specialty restaurants are nothing special and do not offer the extensive menu that is at each entrance. You get s very small selected option, it’s misleading, and not very good. We tried them all, and always ended up at the Buffett which was better tasting and had more of a variety. The specialty steak restaurant has larger rubber steaks…

Had an absolutely terrible experience here. I would never stay here again and I definitely wouldn't book here through Expedia. They made it clear that they hate it when you book through Expedia. Our flight was delayed overnight. I messaged Expedia, RIU and the ride company that my flight was delayed. After I land they say you missed your scheduled pick up and you cant get in. Cost me $130 to get from the airport to the hotel. Unbelievable. RIU tells me they cant do anything about it because I booked though Expedia. Finally get to my hotel. They say our room isn’t ready. How is it not ready we were supposed to be here yesterday and had to pay for last night? "You booked through Expedia that’s their problem". Its our honeymoon so we paid extra for a King room with an ocean view. We got two double beds with a partial view. Again "expedia,expedia, expedia". Two double beds on our honeymoon. Thanks allot. Front desk staff was the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Its like they took enjoyment in our misery. Would not help with anything. The hotel in general was pretty small. All 4 pools are right on top of each other. Basically like one pool. Elite club is laughable so don't do that. Restaurants were very mediocre. Every meal we had off property was better than anything we ate there. And the RIU credits are a joke. $800 credits got me $15 off a $600 spa package. It would take the rest of your life to use your credits. In general stay away from here.

Not enough entertainment and games within the hotel. We had to pay just to play at the pool table.

All in all very solid - nothing amazing but nothing Terrible - relaxing and what was desired. Bonus was no one pushing excursions or timeshares

Drink and party

We spent our anniversary here for a nice long kid free extended weekend and it didnt disappoint. The staff was so nice and attentive. The pools were always clean. Lots of seating around and a good mix of the party people and ones who wanted to lounge. I loved all the options for food and miss that breakfast buffet. Definitely missing it but already looking into our next trip.

First time staying at a RIU resort and this one definitely did not disappoint! Beautiful resort with surprisingly great food for an all inclusive. Will definitely come back.

Place was very clean. Food options were very good. Rooms were great. Views outside the room are hit or miss depending which room you get.

I recently stayed at this resort, and while the experience was okay, there were a few notable disappointments. The staff was often rude and pushy, which made the overall experience feel less welcoming. The food was a major letdown – it was bland, uninspiring, and not what I had hoped for from a place like this. Overall, it felt pretty underwhelming, lacking in the quality I expected for the price.

The rooms and hotel were really nice. The staff were incredible and very kind. The pool and beach were definitely a highlight. The alcohol options were good. However, the food was NOT good. Very poor quality. We went to some restaurants off the resort that we walked to and were good. The food by the pool from noon-5 was the best because it was freshly grilled but still not very good quality.

Very nice location, remodeled rooms nice oceanfront place! Love adults only. Would definitely come back again
