The room temperature was a bit uncomfortable, as we couldn't adjust it. It felt too warm at night, otherwise great stay.

My second time staying here and it’s been a great experience both times. Clean, quiet room and walking distance to just about everything including a grocery store and two pubs. I would recommend this hotel

Beautiful location right on the water. No one in the office at check-in or check-out. All done on-line. I like people and some people don't have cell phones.

I"m outraged that you quoted the price as $69.52, then debited my account $96.12 !!!. This is sharp practice. You owe me $26.60. Either the price is $69.12, or it's more.

It’s an old building, spiderwebs everywhere, no one cares to clean. The power outlets are loose, hard for me to have my phone charger connected. Cabinets smell horrible, and utensils are not cleaned.

Older building but some updates inside the units. Exterior could use painting. No microwave. Lamps would be nice rather than relying on overhead lighting in the sitting area. Location is good and there is plenty of parking. Good value for the money.

Good, clean, convenient option

A good, clean, easy stop over on a long road trip. A very economical option. Lucked out with a beautiful lake view- thank you. Unfortunately, the online self-serve check in App did not work, so i had to wake the manager when we arrived (late) to gain access. She was very friendly and helpful, in spite of having been woken up by a tired and cranky customer. The rest of the stay was perfect.

We got a lot of hair from the bed at time of check in. We think they’re not cleaning properly after check out the customers

Lady at front desk was very nice and let us check in a bit early and even gave us a lakeside view room! What an amazing view it is! Hotel is older but very clean only complaint would have to be the shower head was awful and needed to be replaced. Located with water on both sides is pretty awesome as well. Close to everything and would stay there again.

It was perfect for my family and I. The sweet facing the beach was awesome. My granddaughters loved it. Stacy and her husband were very attentive to all her needs. We will come and stay there again in the future. Thanks for everything, Stacy.

Location is right on the beach, which is great. However, this motel is in desperate need of a Reno/refresh as the nightly rate is excessive given its current state. Plumbing needs to be addressed. Multiple rooms had plugged toilets and no plungers in bathrooms.

Staff was very friendly. Room was a bit old. The kitchenette was not required or useful. Thought it was wierd that we had to take out our own garbage. The air conditioner was old and did not work well. Had to go ask for a fan.

Nice location. Would stay again. Beach access is close and great in the summer. Close to lots. Would be nice if back windows had screens so the window could be open at night to hear the waves and keep the bugs out.

The room was dirty, the table was sticky, floor dirty, patio was very dirty. Lights were burnt out and the television did not work. The "resort" looked nothing like the photos.

Beach front is great! Nice sand. Big swimming area. Room had amenities for cooking etc. Cute place.

Loved how it’s right on the beach. Rooms were so nice and cool with the AC. The only thing is that it was so hot there that you couldn’t sit on your balcony or touch the metal railing as it was way too hot. Parking was easy. My recommendation is to bring an umbrella for the beach as there wasn’t shade. Water was lovely and warm and you could float out forever.

Place is very accessible to the beach since it’s just beach-front. Rooms are decent and complete amenities. There’s so a free common grill for everyone. Over-all would recommend the place, will definitely be back!

We spent one night here on a road trip. We absolutely loved the location, but it was the most expensive accomodation of our road trip and the least up-to-date facilities. It was also a bit challenging that the office was staffed for such limited hours, especially when we had a problem with the toilet. Overall, I would say this is budget accomodation at resort prices.

It just seems this place was washed out a bit. I know its a motel and all, but small things make the trip better. For example, the bathrooms do not have fans. Small things like seeing the ceiling dirty, almost like it had mold that was painted over wasn't great. The room was newly rennovated, but apparenty by a non-professional as the flooring did not meet up with the bedding and you could see the green underlay. The air conditioner does not look like it was cleaned in a while. So just small things like that in the room were slight annoyances. To be fair, we had just come from a 3* model to this 2* motel and perhaps were expecting too much as the previous place was immaculate. The good is that this model does in fact sit right on the beach. The bedding was clean and the room got the job done. I just would not advise this room as a "romantic" get away lol, but more a beach bum paradise. The area around the model wasn't that nice though. It looked like the main building was falling into dis-repair and the model had the whole main building sealed off, curtained all the windows. It just looked ugly. There were other small things like old used cars in the back of the parking lot, an old looking defunct ice cream truck completely packed with bags of empty pop cans and the such, looked almost like a exceptionally efficient homeless person was hoarding pop cans in an old truck. I took a small walk over to the Coast hotel like 2 doors down and wished I had booked there.

Lots old appliances around, just needed some TLC on the grounds. Great beach area. Rooms were adequate bathroom window broken, ceiling peeling but room was generally clean.

The room was hot, no fan in the bathroom, space under the door for mice to crawl in so put a towel under the door. Couldn’t get the tv on, the air conditioner is held in place with broken shingles and only stays on for a short time and had to be restart often.

Outside of building looks worn down, but rooms are fine. The A/C worked well, but having a bedroom meant that space doesn’t benefit from it. Front desk gal was helpful. Close to everything: restaurant, beaches, shops, etc.

Very nice, will be back

There was no staff at all. We picked up our key from a box. The bed must have slept more than a 1000 people before us as it was so uncomfortable. There were used beds sitting in the parking lot so it appeared they were changing them out. Unfortunately our room got missed. Shared with the staff in a personal review but the reaction we got was a very "Who cares" attitude.We personally would not recommend this property.

We were not happy with room we got . Because we booked room with queen bed . But were assigned room with two twins beds in it . I came with my wife .So twin bed was pretty small to actually fit two persons. Staff was not available while checkin process so we have to live in that room.

One of the 2 parking lots looked like a homeless area. There was NO ice,you had to go a mile into town on a 90 degree day to BUY ice. There were 2 stair wells,one had so much bird poop on the stairs that it was horrible.Some of the poop had been there for a long time,there were kids running around barefoot.It was very UNHEALTHY… Our room was clean,that was a good thing.

It reminds me of a hotel I stayed at in Tijuana, I don't remember the name of it. I will not remember the name of this one either. Five Star Location. Two Star Hotel.

This property both inside and out does not look like what Expedia is advertising here!!! While the managers did communicate after our stay about concerns , the Inn is in a state of disrepair. No working locks on doors / over flowing garbage cans / collections of junk on the property. We weren’t able to find other vacancy and cancel night one so had to stay. This property is far too much for two people and a small staff to keep up to a decent standard. Yes the beach is stunning to access but the room was filled with damages/ cob webs and dirt. Not having any type of internal door latch or dead bolt was a very real safety concern and we were dismissed and asked “where are you guys from to worry about break ins ?” If you are travelling to Osoyoos really do your research. Expedia is falsely advertising this Inn. Expedia won’t refund the money, beware their policies !!!! RICHTER INN IS FALSELY ADVERTISED ON EXPEDIA. The photos shown on Expedia website have to be YEARS old.

Beautiful scenery and lake view. Could have had paper towels or napkins available in room..maybe even a wide table in the kitchen for more counter space.

Clean enough but very small and some things didn’t work (the sink). Location was good though

Our experience at the Richter Pass Inn was truly outstanding! The hosts were exceptional, and our room was prepared ahead of time. The three-bedroom suite overlooking the water was ideal and spacious for our family, and we had a full kitchen and dining area. We highly recommend this place and would love to visit again! Great place to stay it’s an older resort but clean room friendly helpful staff and absolutely amazing beach and lake. We took electric scooters to get to the restaurant we wanted to go to so no need to drive anywhere. Will be back again.

Pros: decent rooms, decent toiletries, foot wash for beach, live entertainment, let us check in early! Cons: exterior needs work as it looks abit sketchy from street, no hairdryer, no water in pop machine, garbage all over the guest beach area.

Clean, but very small, small TV, small dining table, 2 plastic library type chairs was only seating in the room. No electrical outlets in the bathroom, just 1 bedside table with lamp. We were there for the beach so that was great!

This was a no-frills accommodation, they honoured my request for no stairs, very friendly. The bed was good, beach good, good value. The first motel I have found to have good lighting.

Nice location, reasonable price

This place has the best location with the best beach. It's great. The staff are excellent as well. It's a motel, not a five star resort but otherwise it's great.

Such an amazing spot. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the staff were incredible. The rooms were clean and renovated. There was a live band n the Saturday! We travelled as a family and will definitely be returning.

Arrived at 4:20 pm. and told room was not ready and they did not know when it would be. They have a early and late chech in or check out policy but do nothing for you if they are not ready. Another traveller arrived and his room was still occupied. Very poorly run.

Our family like the location and the beach nearby. Convenient to any of the amenities, clean and safe for kids to swim. There was a band playing music. It was our first time in this motel, the check in and check out was fast. The person at the front desk was very nice.

Great value for the price! Private beach access right off the property and rooms are clean and updated. Great location. Would stay again.

Love the beach

Our room was in very poor condition. The A/C made lots of noise but did not cool at all. There was no TV remote in the room and no one around in the early evening to ask. The exterior of the building and parking lot in bad shape.

Average place. Nice we didn’t have to muck around with key cards as it was a pin pad to get in to room.

The skillet was greasy and the Teflon was scratched. Baseboards were dirty. The sofa was soiled. Leaves and debris were at the front door. Appreciated the 100% cotton towels. Needed paper towels in the kitchen.

Comfortable beds,bbq for people to use, right on the beach!

We booked one suite through expedia, which was very easy but the problem came during check-in. We called the motel reception 5-6 times, but they didn't pick up phone and no call back received. After many attempts got text message about check-in. Same thing happened during checkout. No front desk staff to help during checkout. Location is good just close to beach and the lake and the area is walkable.
