Great breakfast and central location with good price
Place was great. Beer a little overpriced and food overpriced. Breakfast was great. Staff was very nice
Es un lugar muy agradable para olvidarse del bullicio exterior. El servicio y la atención incomparable, altamente recomendable para pasar unos días estupendos en Luxor.
Really dirty and everything was damaged
Very safety and clean
The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The rooms and facilities could use a refresh but the property grounds are a wonderful, secluded place to relax. Overrall a good place to stay for the price.
I have very mixed feelings about the property. It was advertised as Hotel and Camp. I don't know what part of the property was camp, but it does have very nice yard in front of the hotel. There are two very clean pools. Very good breakfast was included and the restaurant on premises serves exceptional food very reasonably priced ($8 - $10). We were warned that they serve big dinner but as it turns out this was understatement. It was HUGE. Every order includes big bowl of soup, salad, huge side dish. We couldn't eat it all. The next day we ordered one portion and split it. It was enough for two of us. The location is very good, 5 minutes to the Corniche and in between Luxor and Kornak temples. You can see the Alley of the Sphynx from the bridge that is a few minutes from the hotel. The property has two entrances (metal gates) and it was a challenge for our driver to find them. The main gate is behind a gas station, and you can't see it if there are cars waiting in line. The room itself requires a lot of work. There was water damage on the walls, the small fridge provided was not hooked up and we wouldn't use it even if it worked. It was dirty and looked like somebody got rid of it and they picked it up.
Overall, this is a value-for-money option. I had a pleasant stay and good local Egyptian food for breakfast and dinner, along with hot water for the shower and a comfortable room. The staff is attentive and one of them (not sure if he is the owner of this accommodation) even gave me a lift to the bus station when I could not secure a Careem. There are a few lovely cats around the property that I enjoyed petting. It added a unique charm to the place. Cat lovers can consider visiting for this reason. The one area that could use improvement is the room's cleanliness.
Good owner
Rezelky Hotel And Camp Luxor is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the Karnak Temple, and, most importantly, next to the peaceful Nile River. After a 2-day stay in the noisy Giza area of the metropolis Cairo, the Rezelky hotel area feels like an oasis. The hotel owner personally served you at the morning meal table and was a likable person to say the least. Though the hotel is relatively old, for the service and location, I would recommend this hotel for its reasonable price and great location.
Very friendly staff and great price!
Very friendly staff and great price!
The property was well situated and food and drinks were sensibly priced, The host was very friendly and the buffet bread was very good. Next time I am in Luxor I’ll stay here.
Excellent hotel. Awesome food and friendly staff and atmosphere
The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure that all of our needs were met. The hotel was clean and quiet, providing the perfect environment for a relaxing evening spent in front of the campfire. The food and service were both outstanding, with delicious meals and excellent service. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing stay.
Food was great Service is hit or miss old building
If I start with the hits of the stay the food was great. Really good, specially the dinner even the breakfast was good. Now coming to the hotel it was a good building in its prime but now all the glory days over. The stay was freezing and the room was small. The hot water from tap was not working properly. The flow of water was bad. Service is a hot or miss. One day despite asking to clean the room the room was not cleaned. The owner and the other guys try to compensate with service offered and try to be nice but there are certain things which would still bother you.
Good value for money
The camp is good value for money and near karnak but far from other attractions and the room is good, however the camp receives everyday groups of guests which are very noisy from early morning to after midnight, Mr. Elia the manager and his assistants are doing big efforts to use the place the best use.
Beautiful site and excellent staff and good price value
good stay
overall ok... the wifi initially was not good..but the breakfst was good
Excellent
Great Location and very friendly staff. Special thanks to Abudo, Yhia and mr Elia .
Great location to be able to walk to all the sites on the East Side. Felt more connected with local culture.
Nice pool area and room. walking distance from karnak and luxor temple's.
Great stay for a family
Excellent service. However, the location is about 20 to 25 minutes to the City Centre
The helpful and unobtrusive staff, a nice little pool, excellent location for a walk or short taxi ride to Karnak and Luxor temples, the Luxor and mummification museums, and the ferry to the west bank
It is good for price. But it needs cleaning improvements in the bathroom area. Bathtub and tile were not cleaned at all
I liked everything they were so supportive felt like home
Excellent hotel! 👌
It was really great to stay in this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the hotel has pool, restaurant (delicious food) and the location is excellent, It is close to the main touristic attractions. What I liked the most was the hotel staff <3, they made us feel like at home. Nice and kind people, always willing to help us. 100% recommended
A beautiful with some extremely warm hospitality!
What do I say about this place! We absolutely loved this, and it was all down to the brilliant hospitality that the owner and the staff offered us! The place is located wonderfully, its pretty close to both Luxor & Karnak temples. It had ATM nearby, and some nice little shopping areas too (True local Egyptian places, and not the ones that quote in USD, to extract more money out of tourists). The room was okay too, nothing major to complain about. Nothing grand, but given the price you are paying, you seriously cannot be expecting 5 star level rooms. But what we loved the most, was the hospitality of the owner. They truly were amazing hosts to us, gave us great company for dinner, and talked to us about the local history of the place, and what all we should definitely see. And this was followed, with some brilliant, freshly made local food, that was so sumptuous! (Also, the freshly prepared food also gives you the option to choose between veg. & Non-Veg). By the time we finished the dinner, am pretty sure we'd gained a couple of kilos! Next morning we were offered another specially made breakfast, and needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed that, while having another round of conversation with the owner. Our only regret? That we couldn't stay here longer! Thank you, Hotel Rezeiky, for hosting us! :)
Although I often stay on the West Bank, this is my favorite place on the East Bank of Luxor. It may, at first sight, appear a little rough around the edges, it is after all a campground type place. That said, the rooms are very, very nice and the staff is excellent. They have strong management who attend to every detail and are always on site to look after guests and supervise things. I travel with a lot of gear and like the feeling that when I am here, all my stuff is safe. I don't have that feeling in other local economy hotels near the station in Luxor. It is also worth noting that they serve a very nice breakfast here. It comes complete with boiled egg or omelette, fruit, a little vegetables and some cheese. I highly recommend this place.
OK for the money!
Good location walk-able to many places. Very old and needs some freshening up. Cleaning leaves a bit to desire, and had not been dusted or cleaned very well. The man who runs it is friendly and will help with anything you need. He brought a doctor to see my grandson at the room and cost only $25.WiFi is useless, get Vodafone!
Nice stay
I've stayed at Rezeiky 2 times and both where good. The staff are very nice and helpful. The location is great, very close to Karnak temple.
The internet is very very slow and often doesn't work at all. There is no hot water. The pool is used to teach local children to swim but is available for guests also. The hotel is not near any markets or restaurants, but has its own restaurant area. There is no written menu but their chef will prepare Egyptian dishes for guests.
calm, safe place on East Bank with caring staff
As someone who stays in Egypt often, I was delighted to find such a nice place on the East Bank of Luxor. I usually stay on the West Bank, but this time was planning on just a short stopover on the way to Aswan. As soon as the gates swung open the night I arrived revealing well-kept grounds, pretty trees decorated with lights and kids playing in the swimming pool, I knew I had found an oasis of peace not far from the railway station and close to Karnak. I had wanted to avoid the small hotels near the train station and this place was perfect; just a very short ride from the downtown area where you can unwind in a very clean, comfortable room for an extremely affordable price. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to accommodate my every need. They were very attentive to suggestions and even improved the quality of the breakfast at my behest. Overall, a very nice stay with warm, caring people. I highly recommend this place and they deserve to get loads of business as they welcome people with open arms.
Excellent Hotel in Luxor
We read a lot of reviews before booking this. And I've got to say, I wasn't disappointed, not even close. Some people on here have complained that the hotel isn't good quality - well, that's because it's not a 5-star hotel! We had a very enjoyable 2-night stay at Rezeiky Hotel And Camp between 4-March-2018 to 6-March-2018. The large room was clean and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Hotel could do with a little touch up here and there. The hotel's location is fantastic and very convenient for Karnak temple, Nile Cornish and Luxor City. Dinner was delicious and fabulous; The best Egyptian food I ate for the entire trip and certainly not to be missed. We took transport to airport pick-up at mid-night, the driver was waiting for us on the name on the board on arrival.(What a relief ) and visit to Luxor. Elie suggested us to hot air balloon as well and booked on reasonable price. Owners Elie & Tony are very friendly (especially Elie jam of a person). highly recommended, keep up the good work. Looking forward to our next visit.
When we arrived here it was refreshing to meet the nice kind manager. We found the hotel to me nice and relaxing as well as quite.
Perfect location in Luxor and the price is good !
Freundliche Gastgeber.
Zentral und trotzdem ruhig, Pool und Pflanzen, freundliches Personal, komfortables Zimmer. Preiswer und gut
Avis très favorable.
Personnel très accueillant, excellents repas, situation idéale, on recommande chaudement.
great food in the restaurant, great owner and staff

Great Location, Good Price, 3 Star Hotel
Hotel is in a great location in Luxor, super central with the opportunity for a river side Nile walk all the way down to Luxor Museum and Temple. Not the highest standard, but for the great price, fine for a couple nights while exploring Luxor.
