Hotel was good. Rooms clean. Very comfy even though was hot.

The staff was VERY nice and very accommodating. I had rented FIVE rooms for a mini-group tour by nine people. This gave me an opportunity to get feedback from several people. The rooms are not air conditioned, but we did fine over two weeks with 15 euro fans purchased at the local Cora when the temperatures went to 30C. The hotel did provide fans, but we bought our own before realizing they were available. The cooking area is small and so there is no conventional oven, but there is a microwave. ALL parties cooked and NONE of us found this to be a problem. The proximity to the train station is a plus and there are many nearby nice restaurants. The Pompidou Center is a VERY short walk away. Even the cathedral in the heart of the old city is only a 1500 meter walk. Everyone in the group walked between the hotel and this area at least once - and we ranged in age from 25 to 81. With a two-week rental, we had enough time to discover any problems and other than what I mentioned, there were NONE ... and again, the staff was WONDERFUL!

Convenient but worn hotel near station

I stayed at the Residhome for one night on a leisure solo trip to visit Metz. Pros: very near the station, attentive staff, large room Cons: the facilities were visibly worn, several loose tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, room right on railroad tracks so substantial noise

A nice apartment

Comfortable and well equipped this apartment in a modern building has good, basic facilities. A short walk from Gare and buses handy to main area - or a walk.

Only 3mins from the Gare SNCF ( what a fabulous station) and about 20 mins to city center. Breakfast is a bit expensive but there is plenty of choice.The room was well appointed, plenty of storage space and everything you needed in the little kitchen, even a corkscrew! We only stayed for 4 days and wish it had been more.

Nice hotel, good location

This is an hotel with a great location (+/- 5 minutes walk from train station). The hotel has a great price/quality. For a 3 star hotel as you can expect.

Great stay

Great place for longer stay. I stayed only for one night but i would imagine that it would be great staying there for longer periods. One thing i have to say about it is that there's no air contitioner but the site claims that they have.

Train station noise can get annoying

The room was a basic, utilitarian, room with a small kitchenette in the hallway between the bathroom and the bedroom. As others mentioned, the shower was a bit difficult to use, as the shower head mounts at knee level. There's no free maid service, so take care of your towels if you are staying more than one or two nights. You may need to buy/bring some soap/shampoo, as well as toilet paper. And, they only provide body towels. The real challenge is the noise form the train station behind the hotel. Every announcement is preceded by a three note, attention getting, call. With trains coming in throughout the day from very early to very late, these calls are heard many times an hour. I brought a white noise machine and set it up next to the window. It worked wonders and drowned out the noise.

Great location and comfortable staying

We were visiting the city arriving by train. It's so close to station on foot, and even you could see the train running from outside of window but didn't hear the noise at all. It's a pleasant staying. And the kitchen facility set up is a plus.

Stopover in Metz

Apartment was conveniently located near station for a one night stay however it is a fair walk into the city centre so I would recommend a bus if you are staying out late or if it's raining. Lucky reception had umbrellas to borrow and was also happy to talk in English. Train noise was not an issue for me nor was having no air con as it was cool however check the weather in advance if you are someone who likes air con. Room was clean but know wifi is only in reception area. happy with stay for one night for price.

Not the best, but okay for one night, maybe!

Great to have a kitchenette fully equipped to cook. Room a good size and the bed was comfy. Friendly, English speaking reception. Our room backed onto the train station so all we heard till about midnight was the lady on the intercom with a sound beforehand, then the trains coming and going. This all started up again early morning. Air con, heating and heated towel rail were all available, but not one of them worked. TV channels all in French only. Bathroom is adequate but shower head over bath is not good as you have to hold that yourself due to no attachment on wall. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Nice hotel close to Gare Metz

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast costs extra 10.5 euros/day. However, it does not operate all time. When I arrived in at 12:30pm, I could not get in the hotel because no receptionist there. The reception is closed from 11am to 4:30pm. So I had to wait outside hotel for 4 hours with my luggage and tired body, even I already prepaid my money for 5 days in the hotel.

Ok location, room is big, friendly people

The location is OK, about 10 minutes walking to town center. We had a roll in shower room, the bed room and bathroom were huge compare with other hotel and come with a small kitchen. Staffs were very friendly, and neighborhood people were friendly also. Parking is not free but very secure. It only took us to drive from hotel to Luxemburg City of country of Luxemburg. But it was waste to spend a day in Luxemburg, not too much to see. Metz has beautiful church and river side walk around the town. I like this hotel. Only complain is if the hotel is closer to town center would be even better.

Fine hotel, close to Train Station

Resid Home is a large hotel, but has everything down to a science. The staff are very formal, but are always helpful with reasonable requests. The room was well.maintained throughout my stay.

great location close to everything

The staff at the desk were very helpful, actually made reservations at a restaurant for us, went the extra mile. We would highly recommend it, it was compact, had a small full kitchen so you could cook there which would be great if staying for a couple of days. Had good safe parking as well

we enjoyed our 18 day stay with friendly service at the desk. we are happy with clean,functional room with apartment hotel facilities. Location is near rail track of famous Metz train station. Much to see in Lorraine related to WW1 and WW2 events. Gastronomy is fine in Metz.

Good place to stay

The location is so nice bcz it is so so near to train station. The room is clean and looks very good. Also, breakfast was nice enough to pay around 10 euros. I would like to recommend this hotel for a short travel or business trip!!

One night stop on way to Germany

Everything we needed for a short stay. Only a five minute walk to the Pompidou Centre. Good that we could park our campervan , too high for the car park , in the front parking.

Close to train station

Great having a kitchenette and some great supermarkets 4 blocks away. Our balcony overlooked the train yard but with the balcony door closed, we never heard the trains. Wifi in the lobby and breakfast area worked well - does not work in room. Biggest complaint was the shower. It was not attached to wall so had to hold the head while showering.

Good, clean, functional

As with any other Residhomes I've stayed in, the rooms are of modern, sparingly furnished design - some would say sterile, but not I. New building equals functioning utilities, including internet (which in this case was wired, which is probably for the better securitywise). There is a kitchenette with hotplates, microwave and fridge. Hotel services are cut to bare minimum and there is no nightporter, so hang on to that key car! Good place for short to medium length stay near the Metz railway station with ample parking next door.

Nice hotel but beware.

This is a well situated hotel with nice rooms. Unfortunately we encountered a number of technical problems which proved very frustrating. The plug-in internet in the room did not work, after some troubleshooting the reception let us use another vacant room so we could access the internet. The electronic key-card worked well for our room door but did not open the laundry room, another trip to the reception... There was no hot water on the first day, another trip to the reception.... There was no plug in the kitchette sink, we had to use a piece of plastic bag to keep the water from draining while we did dishes. And finally, the reception is not always open so good luck getting help with your problems if they are closed. These little problems add up and eventually make a stay very unpleasant. Positives: the reception staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean and well appointed. The car parking is very good and reasonably priced at 8 euros per day.

The location of this hotel is definitely a plus and a minus. Conveniently close to the train station, which on the flip side means inconveniently close to the trains. You could even clearly hear every announcement from the station... Also, the internet in the room didn't work, but they allowed us access to another room to check email, which mitigated some of the inconvenience.

Touring France

Great location - two minute walk from the train station. Easy access to the entire center with about 10-20 minutes walking. Very clean room and nice bathroom. I didn't have the breakfast. Staff was really helpful with giving me a map and directions to the sites and spoke good English. Decent rate.

Really great place. Comfortable. Clean. Good room. Nice facilities. Only two issues: 1. The bed - it's a folding sofa bed. If you're not TOO spoiled then that's not an issue, but it simply doesn't fit the "concept" of the place as everything seems so well designed and in good taste, but then the bed.... also it could be a bit dangerous as some metal suddenly appears out of nowhere and you could hit yourself if you don't pay attention and keep in mind it's there. 2. The fitness gym they proclaim to have is really really poor. Not worth a visit. Old machines. Better not to say it's there than send people over to "work out". Other than that - perfecto.

Dessue que sur l'annonce ils disent qu'une salle de sport est disponible, alors quelle est fermée depuis le covid ! l'accueil est très bien, plus d'information sur la gestion des poubelles serait le bien venu. Une éponge pour la vaisselle. C'est des détails mais c'est importants pour s'organiser durant le séjours.

Apart hotel agréable, spacieux et bien situé. Par contre petit manque d’ustensiles cuisines: juste 1 petite casserole, pas d’éponge ni de liquide vaisselle. A part ça bon séjour!

Hébergement propre,vaisselle en bon état, matériel et produits de nettoyage. Très bonne literie, grand lit et possibilité d'avoir chacun sa couette comme dans les pays nordiques. Il manquait juste chaise que nous avons pu avoir.

Nuit pour 2 adultes, il manquait des serviettes ainsi que des produits pour la douche, l’entretien des pièces était assez mitigé. Il y avait des cheveux blond/blanc sur la couverture, des carrelages de la cuisine était entrain de s’enlever du sol.

Da das erste Appartement kein funktionierendes Licht im Bad hatte, das Wasser im Handwaschbecken nicht ablief, kein Mülleimer vorhanden war und das Geschirr sowie die Küchenschränke nicht sauber waren, wurde uns ein Ersatzappartement zur Verfügung gestellt, welches dann in Ordnung war.

Wir waren über das Wochenende im Hotel und waren sehr zufrieden. Sehr sauber.

Chambre propre et confortable, une petite peur avec un verrou qui tourne dans le vide et une plaque qui met très très longtemps à chauffer.

Lors de ma réservation j’avais précisé un emplacement de parking arrivé à l’hôtel pas d’accueil. Fermé un samedi à 17h du coup pas de personnel sur place pour me donner l’accès au courage j’ai du garer la voiture à l’extérieur. Chambre convenable pour 1 nuit le fixateur de savon cassé. Sinon l’emplacement à proximité de la gare est idéal

Good accomodation, needing some maintainance

The apartment was very spacious, but would need some maintenance: when showering, water would come also from the bathtub faucet and the shower itself was leaking. The door bolt lock (additional lick from inside) did not work. The room was really hot, also compared to the hall. The building is looking directly on the railway tracks and really close to the station (we could see the interior from our window), which might be a bit noisy, especially with an open window. For an additional price, there is a spacious garage. Position is great, close to the train station and the Centre Pompadour, 10-15 minute walk from the center

The appartment was nice and clean. The room was big, kitchen was cute and equipped. Just a couple of min. to the Central station. Bus station is in the front of the Hotel. The staff was very accomodating and friendly.🇧🇻

Både vårt och vännernas rum vara förberett för 1 person. Fick hämta i receptionen, som, som tur var, ff var öppen. Tv:n gick inte. Kanske bara dosan, men det hjälpte ju inte oss. Trevlig och tillmötesgående receptionspersonal.

Okay.. basically that sums it up.

Basically: It's OK. not great, not bad. It's clearly a cheap accommodation, but the bed and bathroom were clean enough and the room was quiet. Initially they could not find our reservation, but that was possibly a fluke. One chair and one set of towels in our appartement for two, but on request we got an additional set of towels without issue. Location is fine for exploring Metz, close to the train station and a 10 minute walk to the center. Don't expect too much, but it's cheap :-)

Geweldig appartement met prima service! Hele goeie garage. Was het geld helemaal waard. Vind het jammer dat de receptie beperkt open is voor in- en uitchecken.

Super Lage, Service ok

Leider wurde das Appartement bei 8 Übernachtungen nicht gereinigt, liegt vielleicht daran das wir mit Hund unterwegs waren … ansonsten sehr sauber. Mann sollte beim checkin darauf hingewiesen werden das man seinen Müll selber, in den bereitgestellten Müllboxen, entsorgen muss. Aber alles gut 👍

Séjour agréable

Chambre spacieuse, calme à l'intérieur mais beaucoup de bruits dus aux très nombreux trains qui entrent en gare ou en démarrent. Bruits extérieurs également au niveau de la résidence estudiantine. Cuisine sobre mais bien équipée pour quelques jours. Linde de toilettes fournis pour une personne alors que nous étions 2 ! Produits de toilettes fournis a minima. 2 places de parkings spéciales handicapées dans la cour de l'établissement mais occupées illégalement par des voitures ne disposant pas de la carte handicapée sur le pare-brise d'où un gros cassement de tête car pas de places de stationnement dans le boulevard.

Accueil par un jeune homme sympathique et professionnel. Petit soucis d'enregistrement. Studio de bonne taille. Literie confortable. Salle de bain clairement sale et désuète. Meuble vasque cassé, moisissures le long de la baignoire, dentifrice de l'ancien client sur la baignoire, telecommande tv collante. Pas de nettoyage journalier (nous sommes resté 3 jours). Petit déjeuné 12€ : un café 1 croissant 1 compote 1 madeleine 1 jus en brique et 1 quart de baguette... clairement ca vaut a peine 5€. 3 etoiles je n'en donnerais meme pas 1

établissement très bien situé à 2 pas de la gare et disposant d'un parking fermé et sécurisé. Idéal pour visiter l'ensemble des attractions touristiques de Metz à pied. Les studios sont propres, bien équipés et décorés. Cependant ceux donnant sur la voie ferrée sont extrêmement bruyants. Le rapport qualité prix reste toutefois bon surtout si vous avez un bon sommeil ou un studio avec vue sur la rue.

Week-end à Metz

Pris une chambre pour 2 nuits. C’était une chambre pour personne à mobilité réduite donc plan de travail et salle de bains adaptés en conséquence mais cela ne nous a pas gêné. Bien équipée, calme et propre. Avons passé un agréable séjour. Grand lit confortable. Avions pris également le parking pour 8 euros la nuit mais aucun regret : parking couvert, sécurisé avec accès direct au hall de l’hôtel. En plus bien situé : sommes allés sur tous les points du marché de Noel sans utiliser notre véhicule. Super week-end. Nous y retournerons !

Eine Reise in die Vergangenheit mit einer sehr ang

Es war eine von langer Hand im voraus von mir geplante Familienreise von insgesamt 13 Personen und somit 7 Zimmern für insgesamt 3 Nächte. Der Grund unserer Reise war ein Familientreffen dorthin, wo meine Großeltern väterlicherseits 47 Jahre gelebt haben und dann 1919 das Land verlassen mussten. Mein Vater ist um 1900 in Lothringen geboren, demzufolge war die älteste Mitreisende auch schon 86 Jahre alt. Wir haben in diesem Hotel die letzte und einzige Möglichkeit für ursprünglich 8 Zimmer genutzt. Ich konnte bis 48 Stunden zuvor noch ein Zimmer stornieren. Ich persönlich spreche ein gutes Englisch und ein befriedigendes Französisch. Das hat uns bestimmt weiter geholfen. Ganz ohne Englischkenntnisse ist es gar nicht zu empfehlen, mit Französischkenntnissen kommt man natürlich wesentlich besser klar. Aber man kam uns mit sehr viel Freundlichkeit und Umsicht entgegen, denn man stellte für unsere gesamte Gruppe die entsprechende Anzahl Tische zusammen, so daß wir gemeinsam als Gruppe zusammen sitzen konnten

Nicht gut, ist der späte Check in. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber für einen kurzaufenthalt ausreichend. Freundliche Rexeption die kurzfristig einen Ventilator besorgt hat.

Appartement confortable à quelques minutes du centre de Metz. Petit balcon avec table et salon pour profiter de l'extérieur. La partie cuisine est située dans un sas entre le couloir et la chambre ce qui isole bien du bruit j'y retournerai sûrement !

sehr gut gelegen, relativ ruhig! Sauber, wenn auch nicht frisch renoviert. Aufzüge schnell, Rezeption wgen der eingeschränkten Öffnungszeiten mit Wartezeit, Parkplatz preiswert im Haus, Frühstück nicht von uns getestet, sah aber gut aus.

Je pene que nous reprendrons cet hotel

Fijne accomodatie, goed gelegen in nabijheid van treinstation, ook lekker restaurant in de onmiddellijke omgeving, centrum op wandelafstand. Studio basic, niet luxueus, zeer rustig en netjes, voor herhaling vatbaar.
