Very good place to spend a couple of days, very rich breakfast and close to everything
Great place to stay. We were given some pretty clear instructions on how to get there by boat. A couple of hiccups were that we were told to go to dock E, but it looks like the boat took off from dock B instead. Also, buying boat tickets wasn’t directly in front of dock E. It is in front of the train station closer to dock B for those who plan to take a boat to this location. That set us back for about an hour as we were trying to figure it out, but overall a pleasant stay and very accommodating staff.
Excellent small hotel
Lovely hotel right near St Marks square, loved the room and the breakfast was great too, some previous reviews said it was a bit difficult to find but we were sent a video prior to our arrival which was really helpful
The staff is really nice
We literally searched for this property for almost an hour. And we had a GPS with us. It's a pretty much run down b & b and very overpriced in my opinion. The room smelled of ammonia. The staff was very friendly and that was just about the only positive.
The hotel is unique, puta you into the venice vibe! Will return!
The hotel has an incredible location. Staff is super super nice, rooms are super clean. It's an overall great experience.
Lovely little place right in the heart of Venice
This is a lovely, friendly B&B. Very laid back and relaxed, but also very happy to help. Fantastic breakfast delivered to your room, at a time of your choice. The only thing we could pick out to improve would be having a kettle in the room! Would definitely use this hotel again.
Wonderful little hotel, perfect location and perfect for our trip!! What a find!! Lovely staff and what a breakfast!! Delighted! We hope to return one day!!!
Wonderful decor! Great walking location. Excellent breakfast. Spacious room!
We left Italy and the whole trip back home all we could say was "I miss our cute little room and amazing breakfast". This place is a gem and if you stay anywhere while in Venice make it here. The location is perfect and the Breakfast is the best we have ever had. The service was amazing. They really do everything to make your stay as pleasant at possible.
Super cute decor, very Venice. The bathroom was small; you had to squeeze around the sink to get into the shower, so that was weird. The room was also on the small side, but still functional. Friendly staff. Struggled to find the hotel, the map wasn't really helpful, just use google maps. The location was absolutely perfect; it was close to everything. The food places around the hotel seem very touristy so that I would go further out for quality food. My mom and I only stayed one night but I would stay again.
Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and answered our question. Breakfast in the room in the morning was very good. We arrived early before check in and the staff secured our luggage. When we arrived back to the which was a couple of hours, our luggage was secured in our room. The only problem was getting to the hotel. Some of the streets are not marked making it difficult to find. Other than that the hotel was nice.
Excellent gem of a hotel in Venice, staff were lovely and helpful and the room was wonderful. Thank you!
This is a prime location. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend and stay again.
Our room was amazing love the decor the bed extremely comfortable cleaned every day fresh sheets and towels amazing breakfast and was extremely quiet me and my husband loved the hotel and was given a keepsake on leaving
Residenza la loggia
It was one of the most beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in. They brought me a fantastic breakfast to my room in the morning and the owner (I think ) even gave me a beautiful murano glass pendant when I checked out. I'm coming back to Venice in October I would love to stay here again! I was in the blue room-totally beautiful. It's a great area really near to San Marco (St Marks square) which is utterly awesome. I loved it here!
The hotel staff was wonderful including housekeeping staff and woman at front desk. The hotel's décor is a bit out of date but its location and charm make up for it.
A nice place in the heart of San Marco
Great location, however the property is quite hard to find on the first try. Very traditional decor and a nice cosy feel. Although you are right in the middle of everything, it is still a quiet and very comfortable stay.
Hidden Gem
1 night stay following cruise, friendly, professional Hotel, loved it , intend to return, fab location and lovely breakfast served in room, hidden gem!!!
Would definitely stay again
The people at the hotel are so nice and helpful. The location was so convenient. The room was great and breakfast is excellent.
Great location. Very private as only a few guests. Never saw anyone but the host. Breakfast fine. Room large. Bathroom fine. .
Fabulous place to stay
I stayed here for 3 nights with my 20 year old son and our friend. The hotel is in an amazing location and is excellent value for money. I totally recommend it.
Amazed!
Truly fantastic. We chose this B&B based on its ranking and it was amazing. Matteo is the best!!
I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Venezia! Mateo was very accommodating and the location was amazing! Easy access to all the main attractions and easy to get to from the waterbus stop Rialto.
Excellent hotel the room is clean close to san Marcos good all
Right in the heart of Venice near St Mark’s Square. Clean and well furnished.
Venice
It was a great location however the bed was a little too firm. Food was excellent and host very nice.
Lovely traditional hotel in a great location
This was my first time to Venice with my partner and this hotel couldn’t have been better! The hotel is in a great location, only a 2 minute walk from St Marks Square. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating to you, bringing you breakfast in your room in the morning. The room is very traditional and charming with lovely wooden beam ceilings. It’s a small room but perfectly satisfactory for what you require.
Very friendly staff, very impressive breakfast served in our room and the hotel is in a perfect location.
Small hotel / B&B apartment close to all amenities
Small friendly accommodation. Room was rather small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Not much storage space but adequate for a short visit. Fresh fruit was provided in the room each day. No hot drink facilities in the room but tea/coffee etc was always available at the small reception area. Breakfast service to the room was available but there is no dining room. Nice touches like prossecco left in our room on the last evening and a gift of a merano glass pendant presented to me on departure.
4 days couple getaway
This B&B is just a very few minutes away from Piazza San Marco and with some restaurants and gelato shops around. From the hotel to rialto bridge (where also the water bus from the Airport stops) it's probably 5-10min walking. The rooms are small, but big enough. We had a double bed, a small wardrobe including safe, a table with two chairs, TV, A/C, free Wifi, breakfast and a bathroom with shower. There is no sound from the street. Room and bathroom was both in good condition and clean. The reception is very friendly and very caring, I would even say the service was outstanding. We actually got our luggage lost by the airline and it got finally delivered late night after business/reception hours. Nevertheless, the hotel got called by the delivery service and received the luggage for us. I definitely recommend this place to any other couple. Just one small point, there is no view from the room since it is within the labyrinth of all the small streets.
The best of Venice was
What a fantastic place , location and staff. Close to everything and they go above and beyond to make it perfect
Convenient to Major Attractions
This B&B was 5 minutes to the Rialto Bridge in one direction and to San Marco's square in the other. Convenient to catch the water buses that run frequently thru the canals. Easy access to all the popular tourist attractions. The host spoke excellent English and was very helpful in addressing all concerns and questions. The breakfast was excellent and served in your room at your convenience. The bathroom was modern and clean.
Near San Marco Piazza
Authentic Venice hotel, excellent staff, Matteo was very helpful. Excellent location. I would definitely stay there again.
Great hotel in great location
This small hotel is in a perfect location. A two minute walk to Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square. It is however in a quiet small street so away from the madding crowds! Would definitely recommend this hotel, particularly to couples
Pleasant stay
Very handy to piazza san marco and restaurants, Matteo was friendly and helpful
The location is bit odd around 20 ft down a narrow alley-like side street, but it is worth it with comfortable rooms close to St. Marks and the Rialto bridge. Staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Breakfast cost is reasonable and served in your room. Would definitely stay again.
We felt that the bedroom was small, lacking any drawer space for clothes, had to have our suitcase in constant use, even if there had been storage for it we could not have used it. If we had Two suitcases we could not had managed. That said we felt the breakfast was excellent. Bathroom was a tight squeeze but plenty of good size towels
Lovely
Great location, excellent breakfast, very comfortable in a fabulous city.
Room we had was a little on the small side, but not totally unexpected based on the photos. Location was great, and the breakfast was excellent! Overall very good value for the cost.
Central location, zero noise, clean, great service
Matteo met us at our water taxi, walked us to the hotel and was always on hand to offer help. Better than a concierge! Hotel very clean, great location, and despite being central, has zero street zero noise. Has to be 5/5. The red decor room is fantastic with a brilliant clean bathroom and a high powered shower. Both myself and my girlfriend thought it was quite romantic.
Hotel was delightful
The hosts were fantastic very helpful at the same time they didn't impose. The breakfast was delicious very substantial and fresh. The location was great everything you wanted to see in the immediate area turn left or right and you were in the centre of everything. Loved the place would definitely stay there again Thank you for making our stay great
Lovely hotel
Staff were lovely and very helpful. Room clean and tidy. Substantial breakfast served in your room at a time of your choice. Fantastic location but look on a map before you travel as a bit tucked away
This is a very quaint hotel, ideally situated near St Marks Sq.
Fantastic location
Hotel was in the heart of everything, a few minutes walk to St Marks Square, shops restaurants and water Taxi's. Matteo was very helpful, my friend and I had a lovely time.
A truly lovely hotel
My wife and I returned yesterday from a 7 night stay at this lovely hotel. This was our third visit to Venice and Residenza la Loggia was by far the best hotel we have stayed in there. Very well situated just a short stroll from both St Marks Sq and the Rialto Bridge. The hotel is very Venitian in style with modern facilities. Very comfortable rooms, clean, and very quiet with excellent quiet air con. Nice modern bathroom. The hotel is owned and run by Matteo and his mother who are perfect hosts. They looked after us so well. The breakfasts served in our room were absolutely delicious. A perfect stay.
Cosy and friendly
What a wonderful place to stay, location is perfect staff are very very friendly especially Matteo, with good communication before our stay offering to meet us off the waterbus etc. A great place to stay, we will be back
Superb
This hotel is suberb and cannot fault it.Everything about it was excellent. The location for San Marco is great. It is very 17th century with a modern twist. Matteo was very professional with outstanding hospitality skills, couldn't do enough for us and took time to assist us with our questions and queries, he is a true gentleman. Breakfast was outstanding, so much so that we asked for less but we're told we were on holiday so enjoy. We would suggest to use the Rialto stop not San Marco as it's closer, more direct with less tourists. The location is very quiet amongst the hustle and bustle of Venezia.
excellent location, with morning breakfast brought to your room.
Convenient and clean hotel
That hotel was in a great location. Close to everything.
Wonderful
Had a lovely time in Venice. Beautiful City. Couldn't fault the hotel. Room was lovely. Bed was very comfy. Fantastic shower. Breakfast was amazing!! So close to main attractions. Perfect!!!
Great location and wonderful staff!
Staff was more than accommodating and made sure we were comfortable our entire stay. The rooms have a traditional Venice feel, but that's what we loved. We wanted to take in all of the local sites and traditions we could. This hotel was a great location from the water taxi station and close to just about everything we wanted. Great place to stay.
Fantastic place to stay!
We were on our honeymoon and were so happy with our stay at Residenza La Loggia. Very central and was large enough room to relax and open the windows and listen to the sounds going on in Venice. Breakfast in mornings brought to the room was excellent and Matteo and his mom were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Matteo was great at pointing out restaurants that locals would go to so that it was the best value for money and the food was amazing and less tourists. We highly recommend!
Nice small hotel in perfect location
Even if it is hidden in a small street it is easy to find if you follow the directions send to you by the hotel. We were received by a very friendly man who helped with our luggage and was very attentive all the time. Room was ready small like most hotels in Venice but very clean and supper quiet so after a full day of walking was rxcellent to sleep. A simple continental breakfast is served in your room. I will come back.
Quaint Hotel
Very memorable place to stay that gives you a good Venice feel. Its a little hard to find but worth it as its close to the action. The rooms are cute and historically accurate, which helps give a unique experience. Bathrooms are more than adequate and the hotel staff is willing to help as best as they can. The hotel staff leaves at night so if you need things like an iron, ask for them when checking in. Helpful advice, if taking the train get off at the Venice Santa Lucia stop then find the water taxi to Rialto "A" on platform 1. After that its less than a 4 min walk on Per S. Marco street crossing two small bridges. After the second bridge its the second left hand alley, door is 10 feet on the right of the alley.
Excellent location & peaceful
Friendly reception. Matteo was very helpful with sightseeing advice. Also was flexible with breakfast time which was much appreciated. Nice vibe, close to everything yet tucked away from the noise.
Charming historic feel
Charming old building, room is cosy but fine for one person.
Good overall
No major complaints! Room was tiny and shower didn't drain, but the staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Centrally located, easy to find thanks to the directions(for Venice standards - make sure you have the directions handy when you arrive). It is off a quiet side street. Close walk to all Venice attractions. The rooms are really cute and comfortable. The European style breakfast (breads, fruit, yogurt, meats) is amazing as it comes on a beautiful tray to your room at the time you would like. The front desk is very helpful, friendly and helped with recommendations for restaurants. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay and would stay here again.
Good location, lovely hotel.
This was a very small hotel and therefore breakfast was served in our room. We were very pleasantly surprised by the variety of choice of food served, all beautifully presented. The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great Stay
Very gracious hosts. They met our every need! Breakfast was fresh, delicious and plentiful
Residenza La Loggia is a true Venetian Hidden Gem
First off, the room was stunningly beautiful. You truly feel like you're staying in Venice - in style, with a truly Venetian look. The room was gorgeously decorated, bedding was very comfortable, and the room is about 2x bigger than any other room we had stayed at in Italy- extremely spacious and comfortable. I am American and I require certain amenities to make my stay comfortable. Residenze La Loggia offered all of them and then some. They even deliver a large delicious breakfast into your room every morning, which was truly unbelievably amazing. The location is unbelievable. It can be tricky to locate at first (like everything in Venice), but once you do, you realize how easy it is to get from the hotel to just about anywhere of importance in Venice, especially San Marco's square, which is about two minutes from the hotel, and your whole Venice trip will revolve around that area. Best of all was the staff. Matteo and his mother were extremely welcoming and friendly. We arrived early in the morning from a night train and not only did they hold our bags until our room was ready, but they prepared our room as soon as the night before's guests left, and allowed us to check in several hours early for a much needed power nap. And they were extremely friendly about all of this. Staying here was one of the most comfortable stays we had in Italy. Worth every penny, I only wish we had stayed longer. Thank you Matteo and your mother! Residenza la loggia was amazing!
A great place in the Rialto
We had a nice 3 day stay in the heart of Venice's historic district. Easy walk to San Marco Square and all the great shops & restaurants. Very compact hotel, but well run by friendly staff.
A Gem in the heart of Venice
Absolutely charming hotel with the rooms decorated in 16-18 century style, color and fabric. Matteo, the owner, is gracious and very helpful. We came to Venice for our wedding anniversary and were surprised to find our room/bed decorated with the rose petals , a heart made of red rose petals, and a chilled bottle of Champaign with the strawberries. Upon check-in Matteo gives you a map of Venice on which he points the main attractions in a city. The lobby also has on display the flyers and brochures to the local events, museums and concerts. We went to Vivaldi concert and absolutely loved it. The breakfast is brought to the room every morning on a tray with the fresh white rose in a vase, nicely arranged and tasty. We liked it.
Great location
Lovely little hotel, great little room and breakfast in the room is nice touch. Excellent location only 2 minutes from the main square and surrounded by many lovely restaurants and shops. Would stay here again if visiting Venice!
Cancun Guests Viva Venice!!!
Although the Hotel was horribly difficult to find...the charming Italian decor and ambiance..friendliness of the Mother-Son owners was spectacular!! The kindness and mannerisms were outstanding! The son helped us print out Train information and even made necessary confirmation calls to help us run our First Trip smoothly..We loved the Welcome greeting and coffee/cookies to start our stay. Bathroom was terribly tiny and uncomfortable...but the charming Italian decor and pleasant attitudes of the owners more than made up for the negative!! We would love to stay there again and again!!!
Safe and secure; centeallylocated
A must! Place to stay. It's in the middle of everything
Beautiful stay. Picture worthy room :)
Everything was perfect. I will come back! It's a bit difficult to find, but if you call reception they will come out to get you :)
Cute boutique b&b in the heart of Venice
Lovely little b&b in an excellent location near st marks square. Very accommodating staff.
location and staff were great
the locations was so good. straight up from water taxi stop and close to san marco piazza. matteo, our host, could not have been more helpful, sharing info about weather and good places to eat.. we were there when the piazza flooded and without the info he provided the night before we would have been ill prepared in the morning. the in room breakfast was wonderful..far above our expectations.
I absolutly loved the room I stayed, it was very nicely decorated and maintained. Our host was very nice and he gave us excellent suggestions on restaurants and stores nearby. The breakfast in the room was great as well, everything was delicious and the whole experience was wonderful!
Absolute gem in the heart of Venice!
We had such an amazing stay here - the room just oozes with old world charm but is modernly-comfortable. Staff was very friendly and had amazing advice & recommendations for the area. The location is absolutely superb being just a short walk from St. Mark's square. I would highly recommend La Loggia to friends/family who are looking for a real gem of a stay in Venice!
Return visit to same hotel
return visit to Venice
Charming hotel, well located
Utterly charming in all respects, lovely staff. Small so no breakfast room, breakfast bought to your room. Even that was terrific. Great location, a couple of mins from San Marco square.
Amazing B & B hotel and excellent location
We stayed at this hotel 3 nights. The location of the hotel is really central ( less than 5 min to San Marco square and Rialto bridge). The rooms are well decorated and the staff are very friendly "They upgrade us for free to a bigger room as we have a child and the first room was quite small". It is highly recommended.
Cute B n B in the heart of Venice
The b n b was gorgeous. In centralised location but quiet. The breakfast in bed was delicious. The room cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would stay again.
Perfect location in the centre of Venice
Lovely really helpful staff, yummy breakfast and room was great definitely recommend for a short break to Venice.
Way above expectations!
Understanding that normally rooms in Venice are small and Italian Service not always to par with their star rating, this hotel was a gem. Staff is splendid, location was simply ideal, room was large and clean. Old style, comfortable and large room; fresh and delivered to your room breakfast; quiet and clean.
Awesome hotel and service!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Matteo, the owner was very helpful, friendly and went out of his way to give us the best service! Breakfast in bed was great. There were more than what one could have for breakfast!!! The only one thing that I did not enjoy was the way the bedsheets were prepared. They were very lose, and the only bedcover was also very light and lose so these move around when you move, and create creases when you sleep (my son bed cover was off on the floor when he woke up), so it was very uncomfortable. But, this is from a person who likes to sleep on smoothly made, tight bedsheets, so if you don't care for that, then that may not be an issue. BTW here is a very quick and easy way to find the hotel (as I noted some previous guests had a difficult time locating this place): If you take the waterbus line 2 direction Rialto towards San Marco Lido ( NOT towards San Marco Zaccaria) and get off at Rialto station. From there take Calle Bembo (a tiny street right in front of you as you get off the water is station) and walk straight until you reach a little bridge where there is a restaurant called Bistro de Venise. Cross the bridge and the hotel is on first left after that bridge (Calle Ramo Primo Gregolin 1008). All in all, should be about 5 - 10 minutes (at most) walk.
Great B&B in center of Venice
Brought our 1 year old for his 1st trip. Matteo was great and accommodated our needs for outlr little guy. This is perfect B&B next to st marks and rialto. Highly recommend !
Friendly and welcoming
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Very narrow single bed, generous queen bed. Welcome fruit & lollies, thank you gift on check out. Good location.
Wonderful Venetian hotel
Perfect Venetian Hotel! Amazing decor and breakfast was served in your room. Wonderful host and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice.
Venice hideaway
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Great position. But difficukt to find! Rooms are comfortable but small. No wardrobe.
Romantic spot in Venice
We had very good time the location is in the heart of Venice. This is a little hotel authentic Venetian style, we really liked, it was clean and quiet. Matteo was very helpful and stay in contact before our arrival. If we visit Venice again we will stay here for sure!
Great hotel in the heart of San Marco
Welcoming and attentive staff, great hospitality and a lovely clean room full of the character of Venice.
Decent hotel very good location
In venice on honeymoon - we do not recommend the city for honeymoons as it turned out to be one huge tourist trap. However, this hotel, despite being relatively costly as compared to the rest of italy was fine. Great location in between the two major spots in Italy. Also they serve you breakfast in your room which is nice.
perfect location
this place is a stone throw from St. Marks, it was clean and the staff was helpful and courteous. I would definetly stay here again
Great location, very friendly
This hotel was a great choice. It wasn't the easiest to find, but was minutes from St. Marks Square. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was served to the room and included a great spread of pastries. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very quite atmosphere. No elevator, but you only have to walk up to small flights of stairs. We had backpacks so it wasn't even an issue. Felt very safe, you need a key to enter and leave the building.
Perfetto!
I had a wonderful stay here and will be back again. The room was lovely - beautifully appointed in a style that evoked the building's ancient past. The family owners are so friendly and accommodating, as is their staff. The breakfast, served in the room each morning, was the perfect start to the day. The location is superb - just a few minutes' walk from San Marco as well as the vaporetto station near the Rialto Bridge. I suggested to the owners that they post a sign for the hotel, which is down a narrow side street off Calle dei Fabbri. The side street is called Ramo Primo Gregolin - it's the first street on the left after you cross a little bridge called Ponte de le Pignate (if you're walking from the Rialto area toward San Marco). This place is a hidden treasure!
Charming B&B, ideally located.
My wife and I returned to Venice for the second time - after an absence of almost 30 years - and were pleasantly surprised by La Residenza. The room itself was gorgeous, with fabric covered walls matching the draperies, bedspread and other features. Our room was the "gold room" and was truly impressive. It was furnished with antiques, lending a very "Venetian" touch. Although the establishment is a bit hard to find, the website provides travelers a detailed map and description on how to find the accommodations. And the location cannot be beat - just a minute's walk from Piazza San Marco and a five minute walk from the Rialto bridge. The surroundings are chock full of a wide selection of restaurants at varying prices ranges, but of excellent quality. The staff is warm and friendly, including a father and son team, who make travelers feel right at home. A great experience!
Amazing!
The hotel (I would rather say it as B & B, in a positive way) is really amazing. Good location, nice room, warm and helpful staff (actually the owner and his son), and perfect in-room breakfast. I even extended my stay in Venice one more day, because of it. Highly recommend!
Worth the find
Wonderful hotel, great city. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was a delight, and the breakfast, to our room, was heavenly. Worth every penny. A bit hard to find, as not really on the calle as named, but down a little side calle, but that is Venice. It was a true delight, and one place we really hated to leave. Such happy and energetic staff. They made our stay so pleasant.
I'd love to choose it again for next trip
Excellent location, great staff, well-equipped facilities, everything is just perfect, I would choose it again when I travel to Venice next time.
it was nice
very nice. small cost hotel. good value. i recommend it.
Toll.
Very nice hotel
Great location and very friendly staff. The room is small but comfortable. The breakfast is really really good. The decorations is very nice.

Great service! I’ll come back.
