Too hot to sleep!

We booked a 2 bedroom suite, but they switched us to 2 connecting rooms because apparently the A/c wasn’t working in the suite we booked. They presented it as an upgrade because we would have 2 kitchens, but it did not work well for us because there wasn’t a specified area to congregate. And it they connecting door closed on you, it was impossible to go back and forth. Plus, the AC didn’t seem much better as the rooms were too hot to sleep. The A/C is on a motion detector so if you are in the kitchen area (or in bed!) it does not sense movement and turns off. The windows don’t open at all so it gets HOT! The room still smelled from cooking odors. And one of the blankets was ripped and stained, otherwise room seemed clean. We ended up leaving the second night even though it was too late to be refunded because we wanted to just drive home early to get a good night’s sleep.

Had a great stay. Room service dinners are not great, but breakfast were fine.

The property itself is safe & thie hotel takes precautions to ensure safety, which was good. However, I will not stay there again because of the amout to park $54, a night!!!! That is CRAZY! So on top of the cost, you will pay more to just have your car parked. Then there is the issue of this hotel not maintaining the up keep of rooms & elevators. The walks have torn wallpaper, chips on the shower floor & walls, chips on the doors. These are all easy fixes, but lowers the value. So, I’ll be going back to the AC, where parking is cheaper, rooms are cleaner.

The location is perfect in reference to the airport and the shuttle is very convenient. My Mom loved the huge suite rooms with kitchenette.

I was able to check in to the hotel at 11:30 PM as the escalators or the lifts were not working. All of them were switched off for maintenance and it did not work the whole day. we were asked to walk up the stairs if we had to check in our rooms. So we literally lost one whole day. I had my parents with me who were 75 years old and had heart conditions it was very difficult for them to climb up the stairs. We decided to climb and they had shortness of breath after climbing up three floors with luggage. I want expedia to speak to the hotel and get me the first night that i stayed refunded as the escalators were not working and we had to wait solid 6 hours in the lobby.

The hotel was clean, and the room was spacious. The only thing i want to comment on is that the room was booked for 5 people, but there were no pillows allotted for the pull out bed and not enough towels. Just a minor issue.

The rooms are pretty quiet being near the airport, and I found the place surprisingly clean

Quick stay

Our checkin experience was wonderful. Cheyanne (not sure if that the correct spelling) was a great help and very nice and personable. She was awesome. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

The water temperature of the shower could be described as tepid at best. I requested that maintenence look into it, but even after they supposedly fixed it the water temperature was only moderately better. I doubt that i will ever stay there again if i can't even take a hot shower

The girl at the front counter Tasha was extremely helpful. Above and beyond.

Great property for families. Huge room, impressive continental breakfast (including GF bagels!), close to stadiums and shopping. Pool was small but still was fun to use a couple times. Not walkable but getting an Uber places was totally doable.

The check-in went smoothly. The hotel was really nice, complete with a pool and a little fire pit patio area. The room was also very nice and clean, with full kitchen appliances. Overall a really nice place.

Great location but not for longer stay

The room was very spacious and clean. Just for one night stay for next day flying out from LAX. Not many restaurants around. Had to go to nearby hotel’s restaurant for dinner. No grocery stores or pharmacy around.

Close to LAX, really nice rooms, AC didn't get cold enough.

The only complaint I have was at the air conditioning was not working properly so they had two large fans inside the room to try to keep the room cool and we were traveling with children so it was not the safest

It's an airport hotel, so not much to walk to, but there is a lot of shopping (Target, Kohl's) just 5 minutes away on Supulveda and several places to eat in the hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms. About $50 extra for parking. You might be able to park directly at the garage and pay less than doing it thru the hotel.

Property has a shuttle that can bring you to the airport.

We did not get the room because the "hotel was over booked". We were adjusted to another hotel without the requisite number of beds. Settled by 1:30 am. We lost vital sleep hours and peace of mind. Residence Inn management should look into the inconvenience this has caused after an international travel of 23 hours.

Everything was good except they didn't provide water bottles in room its first time i saw in our traveling history.

Breakfast was very good Irma and her crew were very helpful, I accidentally dropped my plate with food (Breakfast) and Irma brought food back after it was time to close already. Receptionist was very helpful in checking out and very responsive when asking questions 10/10 service overall. Thank you to all your team.!

Some sort of machinery outside room 201 was running and made noise all night. It was not in room AC.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Soundproofing of the windows is just bad. Airport and the century blvd are very very loud. Anyone visiting will need earplugs to sleep comfortably. Breakfasts are also of poor quality. Big plus is a shuttle going to/from airport.

Convenient if you have a flight at LAX. It has shuttles to LAX 24/7. The room we stayed was very clean, spacious, and had variety of amenities. I will definitely choose to stay there if I have a flight at LAX again.

Everything was great except sink in bathroom took forever to drain and Dominique was an exceptional employee! Would stay here again!

One sad part of this hotel was the pool. It was cold and not heated. I complained, but they said it was heated. It was NOT! other than that it was a nice hotel - especially for families.

Needs a major upgrade. Stains on the furniture and walls gave the room a dirty look. Room also had a weird smell so I Lysol’d and wiped it down. No one came to replace our towels or clean the room the second day. No fans in the bathrooms so they were muggy and had water stains all over. Just felt dirty.

The air conditioner is not cool enough. Have no toothpaste and toothbrush.

Checking in was a breeze, rooms are cleaned every other day and staff is always helpful and friendly. Coin operated Laundryroom is open 24 hours a day.

- Clean and has access to airport/ kitchen staff and cleaning staff is very respectful. - There is no option drinking water in rooms. Reception area staff is coarse, expected more politeness and amiable nature and parking is so expensive, could consider discounted rate for the residents.

Staff was very nice. Location was not walkable. Pool small. Breakfast was fairly good. Liked the fire by the pool. Unfortunately it had to be turned on again every 30 minutes by staff. But they were helpful. I liked the sun place in the building. Room was big!

Very clean hotel! Room was great for our family of 5 with plenty of room and beds. Breakfast was good..and it was nice having jersey mikes and Starbucks right there in the same building! We ordered pizza from the restaurant below as well and it was VERY GOOD! Cons: Parking was a pain, you have to park in the building behind.. sketchy at night and not many spots designated for the hotel.. elevator in the parking garage smelled like urine. The hotel room had like 3 lights in it and was very dark. It was great overall for a few nights before heading to the airport. We would definitely stay again, and the kids loved watching the airplanes coming in to land out of the hotel room window!

Nice hotel, beds could be better!

The hotel itself is nice, and our room was exactly what we were looking for in terms of space to relax at the end of each day. Our view was over the dumpster area, so we didn't look out much. The hardest part. literally, was the beds. They were like sleeping on wood planks. I've stayed in less expensive hotels that had more comfortable mattresses! The free breakfast was fine, but we only did it once because the options didn't seem to change. But for free, you can't really complain. If the mattresses were more comfortable, we'd stay there again. Good sleep is just too important!

Clean hotel with great breakfast options. The breakfast staff were also very nice. The 4th floor hallway carpet was ready to be replaced and my room had a few signs of wear and tear but it was very clean and cozy. I didn’t use the kitchenette but I’m sure it comes in handy if you don’t want to eat out.

Area around property is rates terrible, but that's not the hotel's fault - it's near the major LAX airport - so don't stay for vacation. It's best as a layover / airport related stay and it's great for that. Shuttle was great to LAX. Staff was friendly. Everything was clean. Beware of the additional parking costs. Other than that - it's perfect for an LAX trip.

House keeping and morning breakfast staff are very helpful and friendly. I really recommend this hotel. Front desk staff are also great!

Hair in the shower floor

Vacation stay - Located central to our itinerary.

We stayed four nights and it was a pleasant stay. The staff was responsive to our needs and the facility was clean and well located. (Our only issue was we came back late at night to a room that had not been cleaned. Called down for fresh towels and they never arrived so had to call again early morning at which time they promptly arrived.)

Great location for LAX travel!

AC did not work. It was cooler outside than in the suite we stayed in. Management was not supportive and despite of complaining multiple times all they offered was two free nights of parking as it was not free. And, a promise that they will try to serve better for guests in the future. Wow - that’s all we can say. Not a good experience. We are very disappointed in Residence Inn.

Hotel near LAX

When we arrived room was not properly cleaned. Rooms has finger nails and shower has some hair.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott LAX/Century Blvd! I was in LA for a week to visit my two oldest sons. My room was exceptionally nice, clean, and comfortable! The continental breakfast was also very good! The staff was very cordial and helpful throughout my stay. If you’re a light sleeper, the incoming and departing flights at LAX might be something you want to take into consideration. Other than that, I would highly recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott LAX/Century Blvd. for your stay in Los Angeles!

I was in a 2 bedroom with my family and for sure it was quite clean and spacious. We did not struggle to get to the Airport since the shuttle was on time. Overall stay was impressive 👏

I didn’t like my room because the shower was handicap, shower and water went all over the floor when I showered

Room had a great setup and kitchen. The electricity was not working on our room upon arrival but the staff quickly fixed the problem. The airport shuttle worked great.

This is where i meet with friends from different states and country for a place to stay during a reunion weekend. Spacious, comfortable, modern rooms. Shuttle is good. Breakfast is nice variety.
