Poor front desk service. Room phone did not work. No hair dryer. Leaky sink. Missing lamp. No extra bed sheets and comforter for the pullout sofa bed. Average breakfast. Only positive was the bathroom was nice and clean.

Had I known that this place wasn't maintained, I woud have stayed further out West of town. These items were nice to have: hot breakfast, small gym, refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The ovethead microwave did not turn on, neither did the overhead stove light, or fan. It would have nice to take a swim but the pool was closed because it was not maintained.

1. Bathroom door couldn't close. 2. Sofa bed mattress so old and thin. no sheet cover, pillow... 3. No phone to contact front desk. Had to walk twice to front desk requesting sofa sheets, pillow, blanket - still no pillow. 4. Shower water is cool, not hot. 5. Toilet in lobby has no tissue paper (good thing I check first) 6. Pool was closed in middle of the summer :(

Front desk not polite and respectful. They don’t care you choose to stay. Room smell bed , carpet not clean , ac was not working and front desk didn’t look serious until I sat in front of them at front desk, to fix the issue. At the end changed my room. Which could have done immediately.

It is in a gated area in Westchase area of Houston. It is walking distance to just about any business you could imagine, variety of restaurants, etc. busy area, lots of other people walking around The rooms were nice, very spacious, and have everything you need.

My name is Sheena Sanchez and I have a serious complaint about my stay I had with my kids over the weekend. First I was told I could check in early and then when I arrived at hotel I had to wait 3 hours for a room to be ready. Then when I arrived in room the room looked nothing like picture online had no tv in living room was small, doors didn’t close , there was no hot water, roaches and bugs in room, no trash can, the remote to tv didn’t work it was the worst experience I ever had with my kids they did not sleep at all.

Old run down. Smells bad. I've stayed a lot of hotels and this was the worst. Carpets dirty. Unsafe feeling. Lots of questionable people in hallways and parking lot. I expected so much more from this part of Houston. Don't book.

Nightmare Stay

The service desk upgraded my room to a suite, which could have been more enjoyable. Unfortunately, I ran into a nightmare. The bedroom has a window A/C unit, but the water from the A/C is all over the window and carpet. The bathroom door was stuck (unable to fully close or open). I asked for a hairdryer, but the service desk told me I had to wait until tomorrow. The following day, I met the room service to ask for a hairdryer; she told me it was okay but never delivered one. There is no A/C in the living room because the controller was broken. This facility would be an excellent structure if the maintenance were correct.

It was a good experience.

Had To Switch Rooms Cuz The Air Didn’t Work In My Original Room

Good afternoon, we have not stayed in several Marriotts but the truth is our stay was not good, dirty jacuzzi, cockroaches in the room, old facilities without maintenance, you smelled marijuana and it is supposedly smoke-free, bad breakfast without variety or attention to the food and dishes that finish and are not pending to change or place more.

Paid for a suite and only had one TV...with two window unit air conditioners. Was supposed to be a gated community but the entrance gate was stuck open. People selling drugs in the parking lot. Entrance doors left open so anyone could walk the halls.

It was the little details

The hotel was nice and clean. Front desk personnel were very professional and friendly. The issues were with housekeeping; there was no toilet paper at all. The linen for the sofa bed was missing and they took it and didn’t replace them. They took all the washcloths. There was also no hair dryer

Red a lot of repairs

Property is run down, dirty, window AC units in some rooms. Even breakfast is subpar. Now what I have seen at other Residence Inns.

The property is an older property. There were cigarette burns on the carpet. Also one building door was not locked. Only 2 pans and dinnerware for 2. Microwave refrigerator and stove worked well. Great internet and nice pool. Breakfast was good.

Loud apartment complex next door. Entrance to building would not close- anyone could have gotten in. Entrance to building not accessible from lobby. $100 non refundable pet deposit charged- this was never mentioned when room was booked.

Relaxing solo trip stay

This was a great solo stay! Check in was easy, although I wasn’t informed that I was paying a deposit at the time. The room was great! Extremely comfortable, had netflix and cable channels, along with other amenities. Housekeeping did forget to come to my room and I was not given enough towels. The complimentary breakfast was delicious each morning. Easy and later checkout (noon). Overall, will definitely be staying again!!

It does not have the new feel but its clean the room are spacious, the staff are friendly the breakfast was good . Near to good eats. Just exactly what we needed. I would recommend

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast choices are extensive and include some Leto options: omelette, boiled eggs, turkey sausage, spinach. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Room was spacious, clean, fresh smelling and had a comfy bed and big desk. Great vibes at the business center. Will be back.

Our stay was super comfortable, bed, smal lil sectional couch, fridge, stove, dishwasher, walk in closet,2 tv’s. The glassware was so clean usually hotels leave water marks and what not but they was spotless!!! The breakfast was very good as well front desk was so amazing i swear when i come back I’ll most definitely stay here!!

The property needs a little updating but was good overall for the price on Expedia.

The stay was terrible I tried to check in multiple times I had to attend an event I was told that people had a late check out is why I had to attend and was told I couldn’t check in even at close to two .The stove didn’t work.Room wasn’t very clean. I checked in at 5:45 pm and asked could I do a late check out and was told no .This place has went down hill

What I didn’t like is that a lot of things in our room did not work. Contacted the front office on several occasions and no one ever showed up. The good things the rooms are very spacious.

The vents were extremely dirty where dirt came out when ac was on. First night i had ti run water for almost 15 minutes to get hot the second night the water didn't didn't get hot at all even after an hour of running. So took a cold shower. Then i got charged 6 dollars a day for parking. Never staying there again.

No hot water

The hot water did not work in my hotel room. Unfortunately, I found this out an hour before a dinner meeting with a client and was unable to be as presentable as normal. I called the office to inform them and they said they would have maintenance look at it. When I returned from dinner nothing had been done. I was then offered to move to a new room but it would have been more effort than it was worth at that time at night.

Old building, old window unit ACs, queen size beds in all the rooms, no option for king size bed, old small elevator and unkept! The rooms are detached from the lobby/front desk, in all, the hotel was unconvincing!!

A little disappointed…

I was disappointed with this location. I’ve stayed at many Residence Inn’s and this one wasn’t too cool. Microwave was too tiny. Critters crawled all over the counters, in the closet. What happened to the hot water - shower took way too long to heat up, if it ever did. Water trickled out of that shower head, very disappointing. That mobile remote for the TV was a joke; couldn’t get the TV to turn off until a timer shut it off. “Sleeps 4” - uhh, where were the extra bed linens? My son and I had to share one blanket and a top sheet (sigh). Only nice thing was the front desk lady; she was pleasant and very helpful. Don’t think I’ll stay here the next time I’m in Texas.

I like the way that the property was a fenced. So you’re parking your vehicle behind a gated entry. The property is older, but you can see where there is a lot of updating. Our room did still smell pretty stuffy, older but was clean to the touch and appearance and nicely stocked. We had a full mini kitchen. It would be a great place if renting for a week. No roaches that others mentioned in the reviews. So maybe it was the building they were in? The outside door latch was broken. The beds are what are normal for Marriott. Decent, clean and a bit firm. I liked how close we were to the location we needed to be at early the next morning.

Be very careful because this property has a severe roach issue. Although the staff are very nice and the suites are okay the roaches are horrendous. They don’t even run when the lights turn on. The second you put something on the counter, they come out from everywhere.

The entire stay there was no hot water. The area around property did not feel safe for walking. The staff was super friendly which was the only plus side of the stay.

Excellent location and delicious breakfast!

The hotel location is fantastic, restaurants, supermarkets, and the Galleria and Post Oak not far away. The hotel offers a gym and a swimming pool.

The property and staff members was really nice I just have one complaint and it’s that the hot water in the bathroom doesn’t get hot luckily it was hot enough for the cold shower

Outdated, poorly maintained property. I do not recommend staying here at all.

Door to the lobby of rooms broken , unkept , trash on floor , pool closed for 4 days due to cleaning , charged parking but not informed there was fee , breakfast sub par , cold eggs , no pancakes , waffles, no yogurt . Door is jammed and must use all your weight to open . Requested new towels many times from housekeeping never received them .

I live this Hotel too many times. Hotel very good. I like very much only this time I have to waiting in lobby 45 minutes for cleaned the room. Any way I still like to stay this hotel in my future.

Stains on sheets and mattress, noisy air condition unit, odor in room and outside areas. Breakfast was mediocre, overall facitlity is in need of TLC. Over priced and would not book again.

4 nights, business for Houston Horror Film Fest

Awesome hotel. Amazing staff and comfortable room. When you travel often, and need to be in a city for an extended stay; it's places like these that make it feel more like the comforts of home. Thank you to all. Next Houston trip in October will be staying again.

check in too long but the girl was really nice and informational! yet never could get housekeeping nor clean towels i had to wash my own and clean my own room it was a joke. breakfast was not pleasant it was a mess and food was made horrible. room was smelly and kitchen was dirty. space wise was great.

The room was nice area was good however the bathroom was terrible hair was on the floor by the tub,hair in the shower on the wall the sink mirror had spots that hadn't been cleaned either from someone washing their hands or from brushing their teeth

The office staff was super friendly, the room was exceptionally clean and well stocked, the grounds were clean and the gates were working properly. We had a window unit A/C, which wasn't super, but worked very well. Only complaints were that the hallways had a strange smell and that the toilet kept running, even after jiggling the handle. Overall, we had a nice experience especially for the rate that we paid.

The suite was not stocked well. There were missing utensils, plates, bowls, etc. The worst part was the AC was not working. We switched rooms multiple times. The AC would blow cold air for a few minutes and then stop working. It was in the 100s the week we were there. We finally had to check out and find a place with AC.

Hotel is clean in a very nice area. Kroger next door is very convenient given that the rooms have kitchens. Even the studio sized room was plenty big. Confortable bed. They kept it very cool in the room too! The only downside is that the pool closed at 8. I would expect 10 or 11.
