The hotel itself was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was cold but nice (sun went about 3pm but could enjoy the sun before then). Limited equipment in the gym but enough to do a basic workout. Everywhere was very clean and enough of a variety at breakfast (even for me as a fussy vegetarian). It was actually a very nice breakfast. The hotel was a bit out of the way. Luckily we had a car but it wasn’t in walking distance to anything other than the two restaurants next to it. It would be useful to have a bus link or something into the centre.

Location very convenient- apying for parking seems over the top though- Breakfast was very good- kitchenette gave multiple options as well as medium size fridge- Wish they had ice machines on every floor and wish water pressure was stronger in shower

The room was so spacious and it accommodated all of us super comfortable. The pool was perfect and so was the breakfast! Staff was so so so friendly and nice, made us feel so good to stay there!

Check in was a little complicated in time-consuming, but once it was done the rooms were wonderful the facilities were clean and bright, the amenities were nice and the breakfast was really good.

Clean and simple

It’s nice, breakfast is excellent. There were ants in the room and no drinking water available, and you have to pay to park even though they have a giant parking lot right out the door? But it is a nice hotel. Pool is great, but no hot tub

We had a great visit. This is our second time staying at this hotel and we will continue to do so. Everything is very clean, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and full of variety.

Great location

The request we placed when booking was provided. The rooms were perfect size and very comfortable. We had the parking view, so e could keep an wire on our vehicle. The only unexpected issues was not using the pool nexause of repairs. We were unable to use it, and Saturday when we were they drained it a little earlier than expected. Other than that perfect location next to highway.

I am a review reader, as I am picky about where I stay, and this place had so many great reviews that I had to check it out. I was not disappointed! We stayed here two nights for a fun concert weekend in Dallas. We chose this location because it was located halfway to everywhere we wanted to go. Perfect location -easy on and off access to interstate. It took us no time to get to concert venue in Grand Prairie, Ripley’s museum and Reunion tower in downtown Dallas. There is an Olive Garden restaurant and Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in the same parking lot surrounding hotel. So convenient. This hotel is so clean and the staff made us feel very welcome. Ms. Blessed at front desk is a delight. The pool was clean and refreshing, not crowded. The rooms were spacious and comfortable the bed was so comfortable. I am most impressed by how quiet it was. Literally never heard any annoying noises from neighbors, staff or outside traffic. Nothing. So peaceful. We will definitely stay here again! Loved everything about this place!

It was an easy check in and check out. Traveling with three children can be overwhelming but it was so convenient with the kitchen in the room and breakfast in the morning. Everything was great and will be returning.

Had all the general amenities plus a pretty pool area with waterfall and basketball. Staff waa nice, greeted each time they saw us and always asked if anything was needed. Room was clean and no problems.

Lovely, friendly people! Large room with everything needed in the kitchen. I had a problem with their electric curtains, but it didn't faze me much.

This was the best choice of hotel and location. The hotel inside and out were clean, and well taken care of. The rooms were clean, well supplied with all the essentials, roomy and just great. Everyone there was super sweet and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, variety of choices and the times were just perfect. Will definitely return to this hotel at our next visit.

The person who checked me in was friendly, quick, informative & efficient. She even provided me with vital information regarding a venue nearby. The room was wonderful! Wish I had more than one night to spend. The only areas needing attention is my room door had a big chip in it & the wood shelves under my restroom sink also had chips which took away from the beautiful aesthetics of the room.

Nice hotel

They were late checking us in, which is necer fun when traveling. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and nice. They refreshed our room every 3 days.They did not vacume the whole time. The front desk ladies were so friendly. I dont kniw whos fault it was, hotels.com or the hotel but we were to check out Saturday and they only booked us till Friday. They were able to let us stay, but that was very concerning.

the front desk lady i believe her name was Blessing. She was very informative and accommodating. She upgraded our room to a king bed suite all on her own. One thing i was stunned over was a $4.99 self-parking fee she made me aware of checking in. On the hotel.com site i did not see that when i did look that up it was listed in a different area. Anyways, we had to check out Tuesday morning early after 5:30am but no one at front desk and lights were off in office area did see a glass jar that said keys so we dropped our room keys in that and left. recieved in an email today 3-15 a reciept for the 4.99 parking fee they charged on my cc # left for incidentals!! strange

I’d stay here again

The young woman at registration was wonderful. She had the ability to exude professionalism and a genuine warmth. My only issue was that I wasn’t aware until we got home that we would be charged for parking. When I reserved the room I thought the description said “free parking”.

Confirmed booking was a lie!!!

I reserved my 2 queen bed room on Sunday for my Friday night trip and hotels.com contacted the hotel and confirmed my booking. Upon check in we were told there were no queen beds. I attempted to contact hotels.com and due to hotels.com computer answering que having technical problems I could not get help with my booking. Since this hotel was non- refundable my family was forced into a king bed. My son had an important event and needed a restful night. Unfortunately it was anything but restful. I have used hotels.com for years and never had an issue. Unfortunately I will not be able to trust my future bookings through hotels.com and will share my experience with others. After in our room, I was finally able to speak to the virtual assistant and he offered 36 dollars off any future booking but I will most likely not trust hotels.com to get the type of room I need to rent. In addition, the lady at the front during check in was very rude and didn’t care about the room situation. She seemed like this happened often and she did not care how this inconvenienced our trip. The beds were hard and the open door shower concept had water all over the wall and floor. Very displeased with hotels.com. And residence in by Marriott.

The hotel staff are excellent and friendly. They made me feel at home even though I was not. The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and had lots of options. Highly recommend this hotel whether one night or more.

The front desk staff were excellent!!! My room was very clean, comfortable and convenient. I had an excellent and very relaxing stay. The only downside was the occasional traffic noise from the nearby freeway, but I'm becoming a little old man now, so I still slept like a baby.....a really really really old baby!!

The hotels condition is a good 6/7 out of 10. But what makes it a 10, is the staff. The manager was so sweet and helpful even after I checked out, she let us use the pool and treated us so well. Will definitely be staying here again.

This Hotel Encourages the Spread of the Flu -Avoid

I booked a room at this hotel through Hotels.com and my son started running a high fever the afternoon before we checked into the hotel. It turns out he had the flu. I called the hotel, cancelled, and asked for a refund for the night so that we didn't spread the virus throughout the hotel. We were told that we would not be receiving a refund for the night. because we booked through Hotels.com. I got the same message from the people at Hotels.com. I think that is a horrible management and business decision to rather have us stay at the hotel with the flu and potentially infect other people at their hotel then issuing a refund. We did the right thing by not staying at the hotel, and it is disappointing to not have a refund issued in this situation. If this is their policy for sick guests, then I can't imagine what else is going on behind the scenes at this establishment. I also don't see the purpose of using hotels.com if they cannot or will not help when a situation like this occurs. I definitely will not be booking a room with this hotel or brand again in the future and will never book a hotel through Hotels.com ever again.

The morning person Mary was amazing I kept Missing breakfast and she made sure I ate I was only 15 mins late but she did great. The shower is open so it's cold I didn't like that. Also the three soaps one was missing it needed a refill we just got little sample bottles.

Snobby and sleazy

The truth is common I booked this through hotels.com but it was an accident I was meaning to book another hotel. I tried to get this reservation canceled 3 times finally the manager got in contact with them and told them they would not be refunding the money, even though it was an accidental booking I would never purposely book this hotel because that is just trash. Conflicted

Accommodating and friendly front desk. Madd early check-in and 1pm check out requests were met without any static. Frequent fliers know the drill. These are great places for long stays... one nighters, not so much. Full kitchen, miniscule living room, tiny bed and standard bathroom using all the efficiently expected from tiny home floor plan. Nothing extravagant, nothing sub-par. Save the living room couch that was slightly more comfortable than the floor. Med sized flat screen serving both living and bed areas on spinning rotation. We had a window that looked directly into the adjacent side of the building. (Full disclosure: knew that going in as part of a questionable "upgrade" decision on my part.) An east facing room on the 4th floor would have a decent view of the skyline. Nice small pool with fountain, bb court and a grill area which didnt get see traffic during a Dallas cold snap. Breakfast was good, as free hotel breakfasts go. Everything was fresh and hot even for late attendees like ourselves. Buff wild wings, Olive gard both on same parking lot (devided but walkable). Quik trip right across the street. It's the best thing going in that area but you can do better for the money if west dallas isnt where you need to be. You can also do far, far worse. For an extended stay it would get two thumbs up but for a night my thumb stickes sideways.

Hotel was great! The only complain I have is the pillow! Aside from that the place is really nice and clean. One more thing to check, and that is with Hotel.com, is parking! It was supposed to be included but we got charged for it.

Dishes in the dishwasher upon check in were ran through cycle, but had food on plates, flatware and wine glasses. People were not wearing masks in the lobby and breakfast buffet line and no one is enforcing, even though the sign on the front door requires masks in public areas

The bbq grill was not working supposedly but then someone was using it after I was told it was broken. The stove tops are too small.

We had to go downstairs to get towels and toilet paper because they did not clean the room until we left but I understand with covid still around. We enjoyed our stay and the people were the BEST.

Room was not ready when we arrived at check in at 5:00 pm. Front desk stated they only had 2 housekeepers. Friends we traveled with had to sleep in room with us because their room on 3rd floor was infested with roaches, and Marriott would not give them another room. Our room was clean and had no roaches which I’m grateful for. I will not be staying at any other Marriotts

Comfortable stay. Friendly staff

Property inside and outside was clean, and friendly staff. Easy access off the highway, was great.The only thing I didn't like was to be woken up by a large dog barking in the hallway. I will say there was no animal smell. You will hear the highway noise if your room is closer to the highway. My room was on the backside of the property, so the noise was minimal.

The tv did not work in the room and when I called the front desk they said that they couldn’t do anything about that

I’ve stayed at this residence inn location 2 times now and both times I wasn’t 100% comfortable with the stay. We never feel comfortable enough to sit on the couches because they’re always so dirty and it just grosses me out. The fridge has had some dirty spots inside where it wasn’t wiped down and the bar of soap in the bathroom had clearly been used and they still kept it in there. The dish soap only had a quart left in the travel size bottle. We paid for a suite but couldn’t really use it we literally just stayed in the bed room because the couch is so uncomfortable to sit on when you can see all the stains. Not to mention when my husband and I first got there we were trying to tell the guy we were checking in and he was being rude because for some reason he thought we were visiting someone in a different room. Like sir do you not see all of the luggage in our hands? And on top of that he gave someone else the room we were suppose to be in because he didn’t properly check this persons ID and we both had the same last name. I really like where this location is but I just hate how unsanitary they are.

There are better Hotels for the money

I didn't enjoy having to pay for parking on top of paying for the room. It was a nice Hotel. Would I stay there again? No. Just not nice enough for the price and to have to pay for parking to park in the parking lot of the Hotel is ridiculous. I could hear the road noise from the interstate in my room and the AC/Heater fan bearings are going out so it mad awful noises all night.

It was a good property. The receptionist was nice. It was odd to come in after dinner and find all the linens laid out on foyer counters - it looked like they might be folding them - I was not sure. Just odd to see.

This place is worse than Texas itself.

This location is ridiculous. First, more than $25 with hidden fees on top of the cost of the room. Second, “Pet friendly” really means you pay a $106 mandatory cleaning fee per animal per day. “Breakfast for two” means you two options; 1) sausage sandwich, orange juice, hot cereal, 2) you don’t eat. There are no accommodations for guests whom don’t eat the food served. Hotels.com provides the “fine print” but knows damn well they are being scandalous with what they provide and how they provide it. Don’t stay at this hotel. Its not friendly, the rooms aren’t great, and for the money you can get a breakfast that you will actually eat.

We stayed once before and enjoyed our very much. This time we had only one problem. We had a late check in. The young man on duty that night was playing on his phone was not at all polite. However when we were checking out the ladies on the desk remembered us was delighted to see us return. Was not at all happy with that young man
