A nice place to stay

This is a nice hotel. Staff were friendly, patient, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Every staff member that I interactacted with are multilingual...Very impressive. For your convenience there is a grocery store and pharmacy less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The tram is also about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. My room had a sink with a slow drain. This tends to be a common problem wherever I stay. Inconvenient for sure. The bed in my room had an awkward, downward slant toward the headboard. Also Inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was nice, however, they need to ensure that hot items stay hot instead of room temperature. I recommend staying here despite the problems I encountered and I will stay here again.

Close to the train stop, otherwise isolated

The hotel is perfectly located near the tram and train, and I enjoyed the lovely sauna and fitness room. The staff was also friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is in an area about 10 minutes from downtown Zurich which was easily accessible by tram which is a block away. The room accommodations and property were comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff was pleasant, professional and accommodating. Upon check-in, we were offered water and provided with a local map indicating transportation and nearby dining options. Another rep was helpful in assisting me to print out a voucher needed for a tour when the hotel's sole guest computer wasn't functioning. Following departure, my request for my final charges was promptly answered as well as follow up regarding a lost item. They even called me from Zurich to discuss potentially shipping the item which I consider going above and beyond in customer service.

Definitely not 5 star, I would say high 3 to 4 star, - All staff helpful and friendly, they try their best - Cleaning could be better though, reception area could do with a clean and update, dust, fingermarks on back of computers on display etc., If your gong to have a large book art display in lobby then keep it tidy and intact, please don't brush off food residue from the dining tables on the floor! - Hotel needs updating in public area, carpets definitely need changing in all hallways, painting and decorating needed on walls, brightening the atmosphere around hotel as its dark and dull, the rooms are ok but bathrooms need attention to decor also, outdated interior - AC is rationed as the country try to reach net zero, not great when your on holiday and can't breath in the humidity!, so AC is obviously limited in public areas, perhaps they need to focus on using less plastic etc., and explore other ways to reduce carbon footprint, poor staff sweating in hot restaurants etc ! - Tourists are told AC not working, they must think tourists are stupid...perhaps they should warn tourists before we visit the country! - Birds enter hotel lobby, roam freely in dining breakfast area doors left open, I informed the staff they seemed to accept it was normal, flies and insects buzzing around breakfast buffet too, sitting on the food, awful really, I could not eat there, very poor if they think they are 5 or even 4 star, I don't expect that in a one star hotel. - Hotel management need to

Property is very close to a train station. Too bad they didnt show me how to get there when I got off the train. They say they have a work out room, would have been nice if they had told me about it and when i tried to get in I couldn't. Day two, they gave me a map, would have been nice to get that day one too.

Excellent property in a good location

The property is located in a business zone, but is near to several restaurants. It is conveniently located near the train station. the staff were informative about what amenities are available and provided assistance when needed.

The hotel was nice, lots of phone calls to get garbage cleared up from room,shortage of bathroom amenities.

While located near to a train stop, it was not 'easy' to find. But the hotel was great.

Amazing stay Zurich

Tired coming from LA. Staff were nice and friendly. Im hyped up with the steam and sauna room. Gym was excellent but didnt have time to workout out!

Such a great location! Short walk to the train station and so easy to get all around Zürich and other parts of Switzerland. Not far from the airport, restaurants and other conveniences. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent club and restaurant. Breakfast buffet was great! Safe, clean and very enjoyable!

Though this property is in a quieter part of town, there are trams nearby for travel to Old Town and the main train station. Also we found a market a short walk from the hotel for snacks, sandwiches, and incidentals. The hotel has an impressive breakfast buffet, also.

Very good experience and friendly staff members

It’s out of town. Need to take tram all the time. But the station is close. Not for family or tourists. Very ran down. Very old carpet. More like 3 star hotel quality for five star hotel price. But Restrant food is very good. Most staffs are friendly. One Front desk employee gave us the wrong information for pharmacy location. No concierge!

The hotel was clean. But the room size was small and only one bathroom! Which was adisappontment when you have 6 people in the room!

Although they offer parking, they do not have enough spaces.The bathroom is small and not confortable. Expensive for what they offer and far from main attractions of the city. Do not recommend.

Solid stay in Zurich !!

This is a nice, modern hotel in a cool neighborhood of Zurich. Bars and restaurants close by but also one can hop on the tram and easily head to another district. Staff friendly. Good views. Nice sized and clean room. Gym upstairs is small but absolutely can make it work. Gorgeous view here too.

To far from city center AC not working properly

Staff were very professional, responsive and polite, the site was very clean and the room was well maintained. In addition, health protocols were followed and overall a very good experience.

The innovative art displays were astounding. I liked the bathtub. Haven’t soaked in one in 20 years. Now for the bad news. For a 5 star hotel, there wasn’t a concierge. Many phone call attempts to guest services went unanswered. Thus no room service. Housekeeping was insufficient- no washcloths, ladies’ toiletries garbage bags not refilled, only 1 bottled water left for 2 guests. Restaurant had a very limited menu. Soggy sandwiches and frozen salads in grab and go meals. Front desk wasn’t knowledgeable about street names in area. Spent money on a taxi for a place that was around the corner.

Adequate but disappointing

Service was good. Beds were comfortable. The fixtures and fittings were well worn and the curtains were ripped. The room could do with an upgrade and it did not merit 5 star rating. The shower was also very basic for the price. We also only got one small bottlen if water although 3 people were in the room which was inadequate.

It was convenient to the train system. Ice makers did not work on any floor. That should have been conveyed when we checked in.

Beds are super uncomfortable and old.

Overall experience was good.

The ceiling show was clever but the outdoor area feels as if you are sitting in the parking lot. Extra pillows would be nice as well.

Bit away from the city center and our meeting locations. However, the price of hotels closer and of similar quality are much higher.

A night in Zurich

Pleasant staff and nice rooms. Zürich West was quiet but a short tram ride gets you wherever you need to go.

Great hotel

Classic, high end, top 5* hotel. Nothing was amiss, a couple of nice surprises were the 24-hour wellness... sauna on top of Zurich at midnight after a heavy day ? With an amazing view? 15th floor, please ;-)

Great hotel. Very close to tram station. Staff were so nice. Room was perfectly prepared.

The hotel itself is quite nice. The decor is modern and it's clean. The only downside was when we went to check in they said housekeeping was in our room and it would be ready in 30 minutes. We said no problem and left our bags to go explore the city. When we came back 4 hours later, they said housekeeping was in our room and it would be ready in 30 minutes. When I explained we'd heard that before, the young man told us the hotel was overbooked and they were doing their best. Not what a customer wants to hear.

Modern and clean. Location a bit isolated from lively center. Breakfast average. Cheese is basic in breakfast and surprisingly not varied. . Parking is super expensive 29 CHF per day. The disadvantage is the iverated price for the stay.

Everything was perfect. Room, Staff, clean, comfortable - just perfect. The only problem is the location. There is a tram and a train but they are not so close and the tram drive takes too long time to get to the center.

It's a great, clean hotel with lovely staff - especially reception. A bit off but close to local train station and trams, so easy to get to the city. The rooms are wonderful with great wooden floor, smart design and very practical. Perfect beds and good for all people that wants to have a quiet room! Have stayed there a douzen times last two years and always fine. Weekends always at good rates, great value. Lovely health club high up with big windows and a nice view to the west.

Great hotel to stay

We chose to stay in Renaissance Zurich by random. But we loved it so much after staying there. The hotel is really clean and comfortable. The room was really huge and stylish. Though it is not located at the tourists area, but public transport just opposite the hotel. It was really convenient for us to go anywhere by just catching tram.

Can’t send an Email

Pro: big room and comfortable Cons: Asked the reception two times to send the invoice by email and did not get it. Had to lost half an hour more calling them and after 4 tries i got it. How hard is it to send an Email ?

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Excellent service with a smile. Christoph, the front desk guy was excellent in giving us all the guidance and help.

I only stayed for one night, but everything was excellent.

Check the area and tram before you arrive

Dennis in the restaurant was prejudiced refused to serve women in line before men took the men first. However in evening the restaurant servers were better than anywhere in the world they knew what you liked treated everyone equally service exceptional

Location not great but everything else was perfect

Location was less than ideal. A good 10 minutes out of the city (€40 taxi fare!) In the business district. View from the window was pretty grim. I arrived late in the evening and considered getting a sandwich room service. The sandwich was €35 with €5 delivery fee. No thanks! The shower was lush though and I appreciate a good shower. The breakfast buffet was great - if you're familiar with Raddison - it's exactly the same. Plenty of choice. Beds were comfortable too. They also had dressing gowns which I liked. Staff were friendly.

Aircondition is poot , too hot, only 1 restaurant- not open for punch ON Saturday , operator said it’s open

Good hotel with a gym in Zurich

The hotel was good overall. The reception people were very helpful in providing reliable information. The hotel is not central but is very close to a train station and to the tram. The main limitation is the inability to open a window in the room.

Great Stay

Proximity to the train and tram stations.

No swim pool. Aircon not the best. No privacy on the lower floors as there is a flat next to it.

Ok hotel. In a concrete jungle. Close to tram so easy enough to get to the city. But dining facility inadequate under pressure.

Its an OK Hotel. But with two crazy lacks even if it's a new building: 1. Very Bad Air Condition 2. Poor Water Pressure. It went completely down at the shower if someone was on the bathroom. Zurich is expensive, but this one is a bit more with those poor details.

It's near by rail station but not central station. We can go out by tram and its also convenient. Room is clean and big. Toilet and shower is separated. Bed is comfortable. Overall experience is good

We stayed for a couple days at this hotel, charged us over 1000 dollars for 2 days. They did not even make the bed for our kids, we had to do it on our own. We stayed in way cheaper hotels that have us exceptional service. Our reservation said breakfast was included but the hotel did not honor it. The bathroom was ridiculous, sink was clogged, water in the shower was leaking out. Poorly designed hotel. Moreover they have 15 free parking spaces and the rest of spots are filled with nothing but rocks. They could have utilized the area for more parking but they were sending customers to a parking lot where they could be charged. After paying so much, this is not what you would expect from a big hotel like this.

Very helpful service right from check in. I love the modern style of the rooms with floor to ceiling windows. They were great in helping us with directions for using the tram to central downtown and an amazing lunch suggestion of the restaurant Terrasse near the Quaibrucke bridge.

Very friendly and helpful staff ... clean rooms ... nice fitness and spa on the top flooor with view of the city.

Overall, nice hotel. A good location, walking distance to Zurich lake (30mins) and only two stops on the train from the airport which was really convenient.

The shower wall didn’t make contact with the edge of the tub so all of the water poured out on to the floor. Bad design flaw. Otherwise terrific hotel!
