Excellent hotel

Modern, clean hotel, spacious room, parking adjacent. Staff was very nice and helpful. Good Italian restaurant in the hotel and great food hall with many choices next door. Across the street from the Cite du Vin which is an excellent wine museum. There are a few restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. It is a short tram ride (10 minutes) to central Bordeaux, and only a 22 minute drive to the airport.

Fantastic! Paul on the front desk was wonderful to interact with. I would highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel. I’ll be going back for sure!

Good, contemporary, comfortable hotel.

Great looking hotel in an interesting part of town. Its a 40 min walk along the river to the centre of town but there is a tram stop nearby. We didn't eat there, but drinks in the rooftop bar were good and all the team were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfy bed and pillows.

Lovely hotel, only minus was there were no towels at the pool when we visited and no way to call service. Otherwise really friendly, nice with a lovely view from the rooftop restaurant.

Limited dinner menu. We were told at check in breakfast was included only to find out at checkout it was not. We would have chosen a nearby breakfast option.

Great location from Cite Du Vin, Market and the tram stop. Aircon could have been alittle cooler as it was alittle humid in the room.

The smells of the food hall came right into our room.

Great stay

Great location, modern building, cosy room, good TV, games in lobby is a nice touch. Robot hoover is also quite cool. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Breakfast selection was not massive and you had to pay extra for omelettes which isn't what I would expect when paying so much. Breakfast also finishes quite early during the week. The coffee machines were not great quality. Also the suggestions for dinner/ activities recommended by most of the reception staff were not great (they didn't seem to have great knowledge of the local area) but were very friendly.

Overall a very nice facility. Easy to get to shopping my taking the metro. Parking is located next the hotel but still easy to get to. The staff was friendly.

This is a modern hotel located in a thriving dockside development. Given that the hotel is a Marriott Bonvoy I would have thought that more would have been provided in the room by way of refreshments than just two complementary bottles of water on the first night.

Newish built in old docks area, staff, room, rooftop restaurant all very good. Just a little way out of city centre. Would definitely stay again !

The Renaissance Bordeaux is a great hotel. Easy waking distance from the waterfront, close to shopping, nice restaurant and pool. Rooms very comfortable and nicely appointed! Can't go wrong for the price !

Inconsistent hospitality

The check-in staff at night were wonderful. We were greeted kindly and helped in every way. However, the morning checkout was very brusque, but I am sure they are trained to be this efficient. We didn’t know about the rooftop Dining and had coffee and croissants downstairs. After we found out, we just wanted to go look and we denied entry just to go look. I was surprised to be treated this way in a Marriott.

A very nice and unusual hotel - highly recommended

Room was clean and modern. Front desk staff spoke English and service was great. Only downside was that my room was facing the view of the museum (2nd floor) and noisy on Sunday night because of the bar and DJ on underneath. Also the fridge did not work and there are not many eating option around like downtown. But super close to the Wine museum :)

The location was perfect for long walks along and sometimes across the river promenade. The Halls of Bacalan and the Cite du Vin were conveniently right next door. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel is impeccably clean with all amenities.

Good place to stay

The staff at check-in was fantastic. Both professional and yet friendly. The room was nice, except for the shower door which leaks all over the floor. The hotel was in a great location and allowed us to enjoy Bordeaux.

Check-in process was easy, quick and great customer service. Room was good, but you could hear next door voices. What surprised me when I checked out the front desk asked to pay the full amount of stay. I have to Explained to her that was prepaid/paid. The little attitude was not comfortable. The fact she didn’t say sorry that she was wrong.

After weeks of often dubious French hotels, this place was a breath of fresh air. Modern. Beautiful. Spacious. Everything I could ask for in a hotel. Highly recommended - IF you have reason to be away from or don’t mind a short commute (tram or water taxi both a 4min walk) to Bordeaux center.

Great location with easy access to the center with the tramway, the pool and restaurant/bar are great and provide a fantastic rooftop experience and the staff was very nice. The room equipment is brand new and high quality. Excellent experience overall.

Lovely hotel in the regenerated part of Bordeaux by the old docks. Fantastic transport links to the centre and other areas. Lovely interior with sense of peace and space. The breakfast buffet was generous but we only had it once as we're vegans and it's much better value for veggies and omnivores.

We chose this hotel for its location that is away from the Bordeaux city center's hustle and bustle, yet not too far away. Tram stop is about 5 min walk. Take Red line to Pessac to go to city center (about 20 min tram ride). The hotel is next to La Cité du Vin. And parking is also right next door which is a big convenience if you come by a car. The hotel validates the parking ticket for a discount (Eu15/day). Also next door: Les Halles Bacalan, a big food court! We had a Gallery room which have a panoramic view of the river and La Cité du Vin.

The room was very clean. The staff was very accommodating.

Having Les Halles Bacalan next door is convenient, but between 2 tram stations is not quite. The bathroom is good with a proper shower unit (but water still leaks out at the bottom door hinge). Overall an enjoyable stay.

Unique and up and coming area dining options were limited nearby.

Love this exciting new property. It is located in a great are that is close to La Cit du Vin and a vibrant food hall and market. The rooms are beautiful! The roof top restaurant and bar are excellent!

Très bon séjour à l'hôtel Renaissance. Très bien accueilli, la literie est très confortable, les chambres propres. Le seul point négatif est la température de la piscine qui n'était pas très chaude (25°).

El hotel está en buenas condiciones y tienen un gran servicio en general. Tiene un bar y un restaurante. Los dos excelente servicio en general. La comida de muy buena calidad y ofrecen servicio durante todo el día.

L'accueil a été parfait, agréable, sourriante, polie, l'hôtel est magnifique les décorées sont magnifique. Cetait pour l'anniversaire de mon chéri, javais appeler l'hôtel pour avoir une chambre au 6 ou 7 ieme et vue sur le pont. Ils nous ont reserve une chambre magnifique vue sur le pont au 6 ieme étage. Un room service au top aussitôt appeler il vous donne un temps pour vous amener ce que vous souhaitez c'était super rapide. Un personnel toujours tres disponibles. Nous sommes vraiment tres bien chouchouter. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisirs.

Ar condicionado e geladeira do quarto não funcionavam, cobraram 50 euros de garantia antecipado sendo que a estadia estava paga,não foi uma pré autorização, agora preciso aguardar reebolso.

Excellent hôtel à recommander !

Un excellent hôtel avec un personnel exemplaire et souriant. Je vous le recommande sans hésitation : allez-y les yeux fermés, c’est magnifique !

Une bonne adresse

Une nuit sur Bordeaux dans cet hôtel new style au cœur d’un quartier reahabolite façon hipster. Nous avons eu droit à un surclassement. Une chambre au septième étage assez cosy. L’aménagement y est fidèle au style loft. Les baies ouvertes sur la salle de bain ont leur petit effet quoi qu’il faille adhérer au principe du « no intimacy. Le restaurant GINA aux accents italiens est plutôt de bon rapport qualité/prix. Mention spéciale en revanche pour le petit déjeuner. Seule ombre au tableau : un front office assuré par des jeunes gens de bonne volonté mais pas à la hauteur d’un quatre étoiles. Le couac du parking est assez symptomatique de leur manque de professionnalisme.

Otelin odaları temiz ve güzeldi. Odalar çok geniş değil 2 kişi kalırken yatakları ayıracak alan yok. Kahvaltısı güzeldi ama kahvaltı salonu yetersiz alana sahipti. Çatıkatında barda çalışan otel personeli kaba ve saygısızdı.

L hotel est bien mais dans cette gamme de prix il y a des details qui clochent : - juste 2 bouteilles d eau a l arrivee non renouvellée - les peignoirs ne sont pas presents il faut les demander en option payante alors qu il y a une piscine - produit douche vide le 2’ jour Mais surtout le bar au 9’ est un désastree absolue Il a faliu 40 min pour avoir un cocktail servi Carte incomplète quand je demande ou sont les eaux de vie On me repond en derniere page Mais il y a rien Reponse : allez voir le barman Au final rien de fameux Je prend un cocktail dont le glacon fait les 2/3 du verre minuscule Dans l ensemble le service n est pas au niveau du standing que souhaite se donner l hotel Le bar est a eviter

Séjour au top

Magnifique hôtel, Accueil agréable, chambre très confortable (et spacieuse pour mettre le lit bébé de notre fille), salle de sport très bien équipé, piscine au rooftop et restaurants avec une vue magnifique sur le port ect … Vieille ville accessible très rapidement à pied. Nous recommandons à 100% et nous reviendrons 👍

Très bel hôtel

Petite soirée en amoureux dans ce très bel hôtel ! La vue depuis le restaurant et la piscine est juste parfaite ! Le petit déj est très complet et le jus d’orange excellent ! La literie est très confortable et l’hôtel est silencieux malgré la proximité des Halles. Les sanitaires sont grands et propres. Les produits nikel (gel douche, shampooing et même après shampooing) La déco est très sympa. Salle de fitness super si le séjour est aussi sportif.

Hotel agréable avec une belle vue sur la ville.

Des prestations à la hauteur. Un endroit agréable. Piscine ok. Manque peut-être un sauna en ce qui me concerne. Apres un peu plus de deux ans d'activité certaines moquettes dans les parties communes ont souffert, a changer pour ne pas donner une impression de laisser-aller. Dans les chambres on se sent bien et il y a une recherche au niveau déco et matériaux. Personnel agréable et serviable sauf les femmes de chambres aux etages qui ne savent pas répondre quand on leur dit bonjour... ça m'est arrivé avec 4 personnes differentes, c'est dommage. Petit déjeuner parfait et complet avec une vue au top.

Déçu

Mon mari a été obligé de détartrer le pommeau de douche manuellement car l eau coulait mal. Il voyage partout dans le monde et ce n est pas du standing de cet hôtel. Et la piscine est sombre et pas de lumière dans l eau et nous nous sommes cognés à plusieurs reprise vers l escalier et les bancs sous l’eau.l eau était froide ainsi que la température de la pièce. On se faisait une joie de venir pour Noël : quelle déception pour Noël

Reserve este hotel porque tenia una piscina interior y cuando quise hacer uso de la misma el agua estaba fría. Me dijeron que ese era la temperatura establecida para el agua. Con razón nadie usaba la piscina. La verdad esperaba que me dieran una mejor solución.

Impeccable

El hotel es muy lindo, cuartos muy limpios, sin embargo el servicio estaba algo flojo, llegamos de pasear a las 4pm y no habian hecho el cuarto aun ni arreglado la nevera que habiamos dicho desde la moche anterior que estaba dañada....algo desatentos pienso...pero el hotel muy lindo

Adoramos a estadia no Renaissance. O Staff foi super simpatico e disponivel para ajudar no que precisamos. O Hotel fica na zona nova de Bordeus, mas a 5-8 minutos de Tram para o centro. Muito boa opção para quem quer visitar a Cité du Vin ou o Bassins de Lumieres. A piscina tinha uma excelente vista e era óptimo para quem quer relaxar no final do dia. Pequeno almoço era muito bom, com muita variedade. Celebravamos o nosso aniversario de casamento e o staff do hotel fez questão de nos mimar. Muito obrigado

Parfait pour du tourisme dans Bordeaux

Bel hotel moderne et bien situe. On a pris le déjeuner payé en avance mais après deux jour nous sommes arrivés en retard de quelque minute et on nous a refusé l'entré..ok mais aucune solution alternative nous a été proposé, nous avons trouve ça decevant et nous avons fait canceller les autres déjeuner après discussion avec la directrice. L'autre point qui nous a deçu est qu'ils fournissent de l'eau en bouteille seulement au check in, et nous étions a cet hôtel pour 7 jours...nous avons du à nouveau discuter avec la directrice pour avoir de l'eau a chaque jour. Nous trouvions illogique de ne pas avoir d'eau mais la situation a été regulée. Au restaurant Gina nous n'avons pas réussi a souper parce que toujours complet...et notre chambre, la 124, bien que très confortable, nous offrait une vu sur les bac de vidanges et les employés en pause qui fument, et surtout impossible de se levé tard dans cette chambre parce les livraison et service se font tous à la porte juste a côté. Donc pas super...mais la chambre elle même et le lit sont très bien. Très cher selon moi avec tout les petit soucis que nous avons eu.

Hôtel bien placé une très belle vue sur base sous marine et le musée du vin une piscine également avec une vue exceptionnelle par contre privatisée le jour de notre venue une excuse par mail mais aucun geste supplémentiare

El hotel esta totalmente descuidado en la limpieza tanto de la habitación en la que un día tuve que pedir que me la arreglaran como en los pasillos de acceso a las habitaciones. Por otro lado en la piscina no tenian toallas secas las que había estaban usadas y sin recoger ya que no había nadie de man tenimiento y en cuanto al restaurante, es demasiado pequeño para el volumen de gente que había, en definitiva demasiado caro para el precio elevado de la habitación no lo recomiendo.
