Brilliant hotel

What an amazing hotel/BnB - the location is perfect everything is within 15 minute walk, the room was super clean and had everything we needed. Great information provided by the hosts prior to arrival and during our stay. I cannot fault anything with the hotel definitely deserves 5 stars!

Lovely room

Our room was lovely and clean with little touches like the chaise lounge amd jacuzzi bath, plenty of space. There were some items left in the fridge for our use as well as breakfast items

Perfect little place

Great spot for a short stay in Pisa. Set in a vibrant square, easy access - even late at night after a delayed flight. A/C in both rooms made it a comfortable place to relax and sleep. Light breakfast provided was a great touch and set us up for exploring the city.

We used this property to stay either side of travelling to a wedding. The accommodation was impressive for a b&b. Nice and secure and good instructions from the host re access etc. was nice and quiet even though above a small square. Plenty of restaurants within close proximity. Room was nice and clean, welcoming touches, refreshments and breakfast was left for us. Would definitely use again or recommend if needed. Easy walking distance to Pisa station.

Great little hotel in centre of old town

This is a very small hotel with just 7 rooms and an entrance hall room, but was perfect for our stay in Pisa. There is no restaurant or meals provided, however there are abundant restaurants nearby and the manager was able to provide a basic in-room continental breakfast free of charge in our room each day. There is good air conditioning and the room is completely quiet and dark with shutters closed. Lovely historic building and rooms and the location is superb. Great for a long weekend in Pisa.

Fantastic hotel

We arrived very late but the automated check-in setup and attentive service on WhatsApp reassured us it would all be ok - and it was! If you arrive after dark make sure you block the light above the QR code beside the door as it can interfere with scanning. Ten minutes’ walk from the Leaning Tower and right in the old city - next visit we’ll be back!

Great spot in a very central part of Pisa, yet a couple of streets off the busiest part making it quiet and calm. Spacious, clean and everything we wanted. Will return whenever I come back!

Enjoyed it. The room was lovely and clean, the breakfast snacks included were a lovely touch. Staff were friendly, central area to be in. Walking distance of everything.

Stayed for one night en route to the airport next day. However we could not sleep due to the loud noise from bars right outside, which continued until 3am. Then noise from people shouting on their way home. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, breakfast was basic and hot water had to be fetched for drinks. We had asked for a quiet room but it was far from that, we would not return to this hotel.

Complicated stay

Driving to the hotel through old town Pisa was challenging. I’m amazed we found it. It’s near the tower and right in the heart of the nightlife. The bed was good. The room was spacious. The bathroom needs a shower. The spa bath took too long to fill. The hand held sprayer didn’t work. I wasn’t too impressed with the breakfast.

Nice property in a good location for accessing Pisa's attractions. Clean and tastefully decorated. No elevator, so some stairs to climb--just something to think about if climbing stairs with bags is an issue. Breakfast is an in-room self-serve light continental breakfast--apples, yogurt, packaged buns, and juice boxes--inadequate. The in-room coffee was poor--particularly for Italy. The water pressure in the shower was virtually non-existent. Even with the shutters closed, the room was noisy until 1-2 AM. Earplugs solved the issue. The room was okay for a short stay and the location is good for sight-seeing.

Should not be called a B & B. Breakfast was in the form of packaged pastries, fruit, juice and yogurt in the room on arrival. Bring ear plugs as it is next to a bar outside and things are lively till the early morning (we stayed a Friday night, so may be different on a weekday). Thank goodness our room was locked the morning we were departing as a few people tried to get into our room before our departure time. Positive is the location- very centrally placed and convenient. Walked to the train station without any difficulty.

We enjoyed our stay here. Check in was very easy and the hotel was in a very good area of Pisa that was close to everything we needed. Our suite was very comfortable and we would stay here again!

This is a fabulous place to stay in the best part of Pisa. The owner could not have been more helpful. Although this is a DIY B&B it met all our needs perfectly. We loved Pisa and if we get the opportunity to revisit we would definitely stay here again.

Small (6 rooms) well appointed hotel. Good buffet breakfast although it is only available between 8 am and 9.30 am. We stayed 3 nights and 2 of the nights we had to leave at 7 am for tours and plane flight, but staff supplied a breakfast in our room for us to consume before leaving. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Much better compared with other properties in Pisa. We have had a late check-in and the owner was very flexible.

The property is tucked away just off the main shopping street through Pisa. A stone’s throw from coffee, wine, pastries, restaurants and new friends. There is an excellent pizzeria very nearby and many market stalls just around the corner.

Very nice B&B. Hostess was friendly. The property was in great condition, large rooms with tasteful decor. Positioned in a central area tucked away just meters from the main drag in Pisa where there were lots of excellent cafes, eateries and places to shop.

Excellent location in the centre of Pisa for a short walk to the river.

Great location in the centre of town. But don't bring your car ! use taxi. The BnB has 23 steps to the first floor, which is OK. The view from the bedrooms overlooks the courtyard, where there is a fruit market in the morning, then restaurant tables in the afternoon evening. Staff at the BnB are very helpful, breakfast is European style, very good.

Excellent apartment in a fabulous location

The booking, welcome, location and overall stay was an easy 5 stars. As soon as I received confirmation of the booking, the owners were in touch. The location is right in the heart of Pisa (less than 10 minute walk to the leaning tower) but tucked away amongst the locals, with fresh fruit and veg market stalls nearby and great cafe's and restaurants on the doorstep. in the evening there's people out and about without it being noisy so a relative early nights sleep (10.30pm) wasn't a problem. The apartment was clean, modern, and a good size. The breakfast was great with a great choice of food and drinks. Highly recommend, have already recommended to relatives who live in Tuscany who sometimes need to stay in Pisa to get an early flight out and will definitely be returning

The location was central for everything, Carly was extremely helpful and went out of her way to accommodate us. Even helping with parking . Nothing was too much trouble. No negatives, room was hot but air conditioning is fitted just not in use as too early in the season. Would recommend.

Great stay in Pisa

Great size, comfortable and high quality room, good central location. Very welcoming hosts and impressed with the breakfast. We stayed in a family room, only word of warning is that the shower cubicle is a little small - I'm 6ft, average size, anyone of a larger nature might struggle! Before travelling was a little concerned about noise from nearby restaurants but the balcony window was soundproofed and even Friday night wasn't an issue

Great place to stay

Everything is great. The receptionist and the hotel owner are very nice and helpful. The room is large and comfort. The breatfast is delicious. The tower is within the walking distance. Good restraurants are also around. Overall it is a great place to stay.

The hosts were helpful and welcoming. The suite was clean and nicely appointed. The bathroom had a sewerage smell and as we were there on a Friday night drunken students in the square kept us awake till 4am

This hotel was lovely and clean. It was like an apartment there was a sitting room with a tv, a microwave and fridge in a large cupboard. The bedroom was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The only problem was finding the hotel as it is within the town centre which is great but the roads are very narrow and the hotel hard to find if you arrive by car. The young lady who works there took the time to meet us and direct us to the hotel, she was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I would stay at this hotel again

Great time in Pisa

One night stop-over.

The hotel is very conveniently situated. Once through the front door, there is a large flight of steps before you reach the lobby-come-breakfast room. The rooms are comfortable but noisy during the night - mainly with people shouting in the courtyard area below and, once in a while, with motorbikes. The window glazing is very poor.

Everything and more

The location of the B&B was excellent for getting around Pisa and to train station. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, the breakfast offered exceeded our expectations, complete with homemade items and the room was exactly what we had seen online. Clean, tidy, well appointed and in such a wonderful area. We had a fresh fruit/vegetable stand and bread stand right outside our door as well as a variety of restaurants and markets. We were pleasantly surprised to find how good this property turned out to be. Good and comfortable rooms. Nice neighborhood. Great breakfast. No complains. Would like to visit again.

Lovely little hotel in a nice square that serves as a market in the day but transforms into a lively outside bar and dining area. Location is excellent near the river and the cathedral / tower and easy walk to the station. Slightly noisy in the room if you are not one of the patrons of the bar so be prepared to keep the windows shut. Overall a sweet little hotel with attentive staff.

Pisa de résistance!

Nestled away in the corner of Piazza Sant'Omobono, Relais dei Mercanti is a hidden gem that delivers an unforgettable experience. Upon our arrival we were met at the door and assisted with our luggage to the lounge. The whole building was wonderfully decorated and clean - it seems to exude an old worldly charm yet appears to have been refurbished recently; clearly the owners have taken some time to ensure a traditional yet comfortable experience for their guests. Whilst checking in we were served a fresh espresso and were given a map of the local area. The room itself was spacious, immaculately clean and, again, had traditional character despite the fact that everything appeared new upon closer inspection. The bathroom was well lit and had an excellent power shower installed. All in all I'd highly recommend this place - the location is great, the staff are courteous and the room was meticulous. Brilliante!

Great family run B&B, Room 1 & 2 were gorgeous and had a nice balcony, Room 6 faced the main road and got loud at night. Breakfast was especially nice

Small and luxurious, with warm personal service. Great location and good breakfast. Only downside is that you must schedule your exact time of check-in/out in advance as there is no reception 24H.
