everyone was nice.
I recommend
Great stay! The staff is very friendly, spacious rooms, nice pool and perfect location. I will come back for sure.
Nothing good about this hotel other than the people working there, the hotel need renovations..
Nice hotel with incredible staff. This is OUR place when we stay in Tunis.
They don’t care about costumers. The room was missing everything, I had to request towels, water, water boiler.. network signal in the room was useless, was using my SIM card network all time. You have to call twice to get what you need. It was bad experience and will not be repeated.
As soon as we check in at the hotel we feel like home. We are always well received by Mr Lahdhiri and his team. The staff is very friendly and proactive to make sure your stay is perfect. Thank you again for the kind upgrade! We will see you again in 2 weeks.
All are good except the furniture and nats, I took a suite in the second floor, furniture are in bad status and so are the mats. On the next day I moved to the thrid floor marginally better because of the view otherwise same old furniture and nats. Obviously they need to upgrade and soend some money to be in excellent or good level
Good stay rooms old a bit..breakfast staff very friendly
A great place to stay
Very courteous and helpful staff right from the welcone and check in to reataurant and security staff.
Great hotel Lovelly people
Most of the electric sockets in my room did not work, including the one for the kettle and fridge
Accueil chaleureux
Accueil chaleureux dans un hôtel confortable et très bien situé. Le personnel est dévoué et on aime y retourner car on se sent comme à la maison.
Hôtel et staff exceptionnel
Great place to stay, have stayed here multiple time, the staff are amazing, the food is good specially during summer months.
The breakfast is delicious
Spa is very good
All good
Staff is very helpful and welcoming. No public transportation and area around is remote with no activities other than what is provided by hotels nearby. Shuttle to the airport costs 40 euro but taking a cub is a fraction of the cost.
Horrible hotel, bad service very very noisy, old and not clean.. its been a nightmare.. please rate the hotel right this is one star hotel
The very best: all the staff, from bottom to top, excellent. I have not experienced such an excellent attitude from an hotel staff in many years, starting from the bell Captain, house keeping, guest relations...... that I was overwhelmed.
Quite good facilities, yet some rooms are not easy accessible ( very long walks )
Worst service I have ever experienced they don’t even pick up the phone when you call room service
Bad luck of upgrading the room
Upgraded from standard room to premium room but unfortunately I think standard rooms are better,, toilet was not good at all.
Nice hotel
It was my first time in Ramada Plaza and it was good experience
Very professional
Very bad
The overall experience I had was okay, friendly staff, rooms are clean but not what I expected from a 5 star hotel rooms are so small, poor mini bar, I recommend this hotel for non luxury stays.
I like to stay in that hotel I feel so Comfortable
I’m very happy with the reception and the staff are friendly and the room it’s very clean the view it’s wonderful everyone here make you feel your welcome
Excellent staff and supper Management . The hotel is quite old and half of it need refurbishment .
Fine property that would need serious lift-up
This is a fine property. However, many features are not functioning well in the room or on the premises. The elevator was only working upwards, not downwards due to a malfunction on the calling button. I signaled the fact at the reception but nothing was done to fix the problem! Breakfast was not very good and the service was terrible there!
Very quite this time of the year. If you looking for peaceful time
Hotel
Hotel in bad shape
The location was good, not too far away and on the beach. Pool was wonderful. The hotel itself was tired, bed was a tad hard. The staff was friendly. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was not ideal. The food was often cold when it should be hot (soup, chicken, veggies), there were a lot of flies on the food and in the restaurant, and the tables were generally dirty and food on the floor. Needed someone to clean as guests left to make room for the next customers. The gym was nice but needs a fan and some window shades. It was a green house in there with no airflow and all floor to ceiling glass windows in the sun. We enjoyed our stay but some easy upgrades (take care of the flies, keep food hot, replace mattresses, clean up tables in Buffet area, and enhance the gym) would have made it much more enjoyable!
I was so happy with the Reception and the manager was a nice person and all the stuff the are so friendly view of the hotel wonderful so clean room I am very very happy we had a nice time with the family
I really love the view and see it was wonderful time
It was wonderful hotel and staff amazing views clean room
Avoid like it was a plague!!!
Avoid like it was a plague! Terrible service! If you don’t speak french it is hard to converse with staff, they don’t understand you and try to avoid you. We felt like we were discriminated because we speak English. Horrible breakfast experience!!! No supervision no organisation no service. No clean tables no cutlery no plates. We have to clean table our selves and get all we need by our selves. Boiled eggs were uncooked no matter the sign boiled for 10 minutes. Rooms were dirty and worn with broken shower head holder. Changed rooms and it was dirty again with broken balcony sliding door which is very hard to open or close. Electricity keeps disappearing throughout the day. Nearly injured my self trying to get out off the shower in the dark. We made a complaint to reception desk, rooms were cleaned but problems with power and balcony door could not be fixed. We complained to reception manager who was also duty manager. He apologised and promised to improve but there was no improvement. Except complimentary mineral water, wine, fruits delivered to the rooms. On arrival our passports were taken away and kept at reception. We were told we will get them back after we pay for the rooms. Few days later we came to pay for two rooms for two weeks and asked reception manager does he think it is fair to charge guests so much after all inconvenience caused. His answer was yes it is, bad things happen and it is normal. Checking out experience was horrible!
I highly recommend it, its very nice location and I just love being there
this hotel is totally amazing if i found ramada again i will book into it
Great facility, nice and clean. Spacious rooms with bottled water every day. Breakfast was quite extensive with the nice addition of an omelet and crepe making station. Check in was a bit delayed but the staff was kind. Pool is big and clean.

Next to the beach; excellent location; quiet, surroundings all green.
Great hotel for my short business stay. Taxi to the airport in partnership with the hotel at fixed rate of 17 TND.
Good
Generally good
Good Breakfast Buffet
We found the hotel clean and the breakfast amazing. It is really out there... not close to anything, really, although there is a Carrefour (supermarket) not too far from the hotel.
The stuff is not very friendly this time I visited
Fantastic
Very good
not a 5 star hotel
I wasn't able to sleep all night due to the loud music in the club next door, it was horrible, i had to wait till 5 am to go to sleep, i had to wake up and go down to the lobby to complain, they gave me a new room to go to sleep, but still, I'm very upset.
Fine
Was fine
Overall the hotel is good, however the room furniture and view was not as expected. So I rate the room 3.5/5
Nice hotel
staff are nice and rooms are clean 24h room service
Strongly not recommend, too bad experience.
If you have booked it, please cancel your booking now. It doesn't worth the price. You can choose in the same area other better hotels, even with cheaper price. The hotel facility is in a very bad condition. The room I have spent 3 nights has no shower curtain even, so you can imagine after shower water runs everywhere. I feel so bad for the cleaning ladies, but I can't stop wondering why they just want to save some money on the shower curtains!!! Second, the hotel receptionists always lie, my card doesn't work, 5 times I'd have to climb down and get it fixed and then climb up, each time they refused to come with me and check, they lied to me that it is my fault that I shouldn't keep the card together with my phone, but the fact is that I didn't. Then I found the duty manager and he sent someone checked, the problem is the battery of the lock. But they wouldn't listen and lied to me so many times. I can't stop wondering again that is it so hard to check the problem and solve it instead of lying???? They are rude and not helpful at all. Especially for asians, please don't go there, they might look down on you. Anyway, I won't come back again. Ramada chain, Ciao!
Micro maintenance required badly.
Micro maintenance required badly.
Nice hotel with proximity to beach
Excellent staff and courteous had a memorable stay . Very helpful in arranging even a car for sightseeing with English speaking driver
Quiet place
Nice hotel with nice staff
Nice and courteous staff
Good view on the pool and sea, nice and comfortable room
Close to the beach and Carrefour.
The shower tub had a 1/2 wall, not a door. The shower head was nice, but could not get it to stay directed in one way. It kept turning to spray out the tub...made a mess. The did not seem very clean the 1st day, and there was no soap. We got it the next day. I had to wait 10 minutes to get a towel for the pool one day. The staff was OK. Some were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Good service. Nice pools and lots of lounge chairs. Someone on duty to get pads for the loungers.
Good Stay for a fair price
we were only there 2 nights so we didn't get to use all of the facilities. but hotel was clean, staff quite friendly, breakfast (included) was good though I found the bed to be too hard. AC works well! Let us checkout at 1pm instead of noon.
very very nice hotel for Family
Really we enjoyed our stay in the hotel, rooms, pools, food, specially the staff was very helpful and friendly.... Tnx for cleaning rooms Ladies as they try to do their best.... Soufyan, Libya
nice hotel, bad customer service UNFORTUNATELY
Every year,I use this hotel, which is my stopover for my next connecting flight, this time will be my last time I will use this hotel. I was given a room outside the hotel, the hall way to get to my room was at least quarter of a mile, I was walking and smelling the sewage very strong with the heat which was 110 degrees., and it was dark. I am a senior walking for me is a challenge, I had to go back to the receptionist who assigned the room, and told her about the issue, she was very rude and mentioned that she can't accommodate me for another room, until another receptionist recognized me as a customer using this location for numerous time, he required from her to give me another room in the hotel the 3rd floor, he was very nice and he apologized for her while accompagning me to my room .
Friendly staff, welcoming environment
I was surprised with the free room upgrade from a standard room to a suite. The staff was friendly and very accommodating although I only spent the night and had to leave early in the morning I did not have a chance to see the amminitity overall its great place.
Hotel is ok but Far Far away from 5 star hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED. Will not be back
dOESN'T DESERVE 5*. tHIS SHOULD BE RATED 3*
Very old facilities. The bathroom smells very bad. We had to close its door.
This hotel used to be good and my favorite hotel .
I used go to this hotel a lot and used to be very nice and clean hotel but my last trip was horrible bad service , old furnitures , old TVs , the breakfasts is sucks.
Friendly staff, but old facilities. No wifi
This hotel is supposed to be 5 starts, but it is more like a 3 or 4 stars one. The facilities are quite old (for example, the carpets are really overused and dirty). The wifi doesn't work. The facilities like bathrooms are ok, but not to a 5 stars standard. However, on the positive side, the staff are very friendly and helpful
Nice
Take care from the mosquitos specially for the kids when opening the balcony door
Beautiful hotel, close to beach
This is a beautiful, clean hotel with friendly staff. It's family friendly, but perfect for a couple on a getaway too, which is what we were. The pool is a nice size and clean. A short, beautiful walk to the beach. Multiple options for eating. I would definitely stay here again!
Nice Hotel but distanced from City
Good Area and good stay. I enjoyed the stay. It is a good hotel for quit holiday and it is recommended for the summer stay
Nothing to add , hotel is good in general and i recommend for others to be there
Comfortable with beautiful views
Clean, spacious room. Beautiful view of the sea. Many delicious food choices. Friendly staff throughout. I would definitely stay here again.
Good hotel
I recommend this hotel, it's good in every aspect except for the breakfast, it needs to be with more variety.
Ok
Good hotel, food average but a willing friendly staff
nice staff but bad housekeeping
nice staff but bad housekeeping
Bad housekeeping
Bad bad housekeeping, Good breakfast buffet. Not a 5 start hotel
Bedbugs!!!
On top of poor service, bad food, and unfriendly staff, this hotel has bedbugs.
Nice hotel close to the beach, with good potential
Good hotel, but unprofessional and wanting service and services for a Ramada
Overall very good. Pleasant and attentive staff and good food.
Not for Tunisian people
If you are Tunisian and thinking about staying in it just don't do it. They ignored me the whole time. I stayed 3 days and they never clean my room. The sink is clogged, the balcony door does not close, when I request something they answer okay we will do it right now but I was waiting until the end of my stay.
A nice place to stay
Good hotel. Great service. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
Great hotel
luxury hotel with great location and reasonable price for the service you get. the stuff is friendly and the room is spacious and clean. Nothing bad to mention except the proximity to the capital center.
Needs attention in areas
Generally, the hotel was good with a nice pool and a short walk to the beach on a board walk. My room was kept clean and tidied each day . I was not too impressed with the gym - No air con, no fan, water machine empty, no music, no disinfectant or anti bacterial spray to wipe down machines after use. For an international brand of hotel, very little english was spoken and understood and on my day of departure, I was promised a free taxi shuttle to the airport but ended up paying the driver 40 diner and he had not even set his meter.
Good but service can be better
Generally, the hotel is located in a quite neighborhood but the service needs some improvements. For instance, room is not clean even after room service. The same can be said for the restaurant areas.
Budget 5 star hotel
Had a pleasant stay at the Ramada. You can't help but feel it is a shadow of it's former self, as the facilities have not been well maintained over the years. Still, the price is fair.
15 years old hotel, you dont have to expect much
There is two type of rooms in different buildings connected to each other. Try to stay in the main building.
Internet very poor
Rooms clean but internet poor
quiet and peaceful
we stayed in tunis for 4 days in total...2 days in the ciy center and 2 days in gammarth. our stay in ramada was very plesant. the staff at the hotel are very friendly. our only issue was that we went in the month of Feb from the UK (where it was -1 temperature at the time) to Tunis where it was 26 degrees and the hotel had only heating and no air conditioning .we were told that it was winter season and hence there was only heating available in the rooms. we didn't have too much of a problem since we kept the balcony door open and the breeze from outside was cool enough for us, overall a very nice stay.
Very nice and clean hotel
I recommend it. It's relaxing to stay in it. The staff is very polite and helpfull. The food is good and the service too. Rooms are clean and well served. The facilities are well preserved.
Recommended
Rooms were comfortable & the location is great.
What we needed
The staff was great - everyone was polite and helpful. If you're looking to be out and about in Tunis, this hotel is probably not for you. It's pretty far from the city. If you'll just be in Gammarth and La Marsa, you'll do fine here. The hotel room itself was nice and felt clean. The hallways had pretty dirty old carpet and generally felt like a neglected 1980s hotel.
Good hotel on a budget
Overall I thought the hotel was very nice compared to other places. I would ask that room service clean the bath/shower area and not just take the towels. Also, the TV was rubbish. They should have more channels, especially movies and sports, ideally english speaking.
good one
i spent good time there, the problem was with the restaurant, it takes a lot of time to bring your order and men at bar are slow too but i like the place so much
Ramada Plaza Gammarth, Tunis, Tunisia
Wonderful quiet hotel on the beach. If you wish to be somewhere romantic then this is the hotel to stay at. The city centre is about 15 mins away by cab and cabs are cheap. If you are looking for cheap restaurants then this hotel doesn't really offer that, you would have to cab it to another city. Check out Cite Bou Said, is a cab ride away and its amazing.
Ramada Plaza - Gammarth
Hotel very clean, and beautiful decor. A/C did not function very well. Hotel very quiet considering it was still September. Food great but pricey Breakfast & Dinner (buffet) selection very limited. Only 1 A La Carte Restaurant - Expensive and selection very, very limited - Not good enough especially being that the hotel is remote.
Great hotel
it was excellent vacation but there is 2 points which i didn't like: the air condition unit is not performing well the internet is very slow
Months for April/May quite cold
I was given a room on the ground floor of this hotel and it was extremely cold during the night. The hotel switched off the heating of all rooms during the month of April/May as they consider this summer time. It was freezing with high wind speeds, my nose was cold I had keep warm under the covers. I then changed my room to the 3rd floor and it was much warmer as heat rises. It is indeed a beautiful hotel and peaceful.

The toilet was not clean, and the sheets was not clean also And wondering why always when people book online get bad rooms while the opposite when you book at the property
