The hotel is old. Stain in the sink bowl and dirt in the bathroom. No face towel, be prepared to have your own towels. There was a stinky smell on the first day of the stay. The location is good, which is close to the MTR and 7-11. The cleaning staff was friendly. Never used their kettle or mugs. The hotel needs upgrade. If not, I will not recommend.

Do not let Expedia rating deceive you. This hotel is dirty, old, crappy and it’s right at the wet market. It’s convenient to the train and bus however it is not worth it at all. I had a non smoking room but the room itself was so dirty and the bathroom was all rusty and whole room smells like mold.

To whom it may concern, This hotel was the worst experience of my entire life. Not a single attendant spoke English properly, and there was a tone of defiance. I was exhausted after 16 hours of flights, with U.S. flights arriving indecently at 4 a.m. After 3 hours to get there, I found no room available. I said I would pay for an extra night, but it was a disaster. They ended up giving me a horrible room with a hard bed and cold shower. Their restaurant served the worst breakfast of my life, and when I complained, they said, "It's not the same company, and we don't recommend it," imagine that coming from employees. The blankets and sheets were dirty, and there was an unusual amount of dust. The location, inside a street vegetable market, smelled awful. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even my enemies. 致有关人士： 这家酒店是我一生中最糟糕的经历。没有一个服务员能说好英语，语气里充满了挑衅。我在经过16个小时的飞行后筋疲力尽，美国的航班总是不合时宜地在凌晨4点到达。花了3个小时才到达酒店，却发现没有可用的房间。我说我愿意支付额外一天的费用，但还是一场灾难。他们最终给了我一个糟糕的房间，床很硬，淋浴是冷水。餐厅的早餐是我吃过的最差的，我抱怨时，他们却说：“这不是同一家公司，我们也不推荐。”你能想象这是员工说的话吗？ 被褥是脏的，房间里积满了不寻常的灰尘。酒店位置在一个蔬菜街市里，四周弥漫着难闻的气味。我绝不会向任何人推荐这家酒店，甚至连我的敌人都不推荐。

Weak cellphone signals.

The location is right in the middle of a street market district so it's pretty smelly when you leave the premises. The decor is like 20-30 years old, toilet handle was half broken, the A/C noisy, etc. On the otherhand, it was cheap cheap cheap. You can't even get a Motel 6 for this price. Sometimes the hotel room is just a place to to sleep in. There's 2 lines at the closest metro station 2 blocks away. The "ding ding" street cars run right through the street downstairs. And there is a ferry terminal 3 blocks away that go to Kowloon City (the new cruise terminal area) but the ships there run on a limited schedule.

The Ramada at North Point is a very good value for the price. it is well run, and the staff is responsive and polite, and it is clean. Managed well. I have stayed here more than ten times over a number of years. Never had a problem.

It’s really good for the price. And it’s a good hot shower and sleep place. The room is good. Furniture is a little old and a little run down, but understandable for the price. Definitely a good budget choice.

I requested to stay in a non smoking room but I could still smelled the smoke most of the time. The staff responded saying that it was because the lower floor was a smoking area.

This is an average hotel that I got a cheap rate on (for Hong Kong). The location was convenient. But the rooms was old and musty (again, common for Hong Kong), the bed was not plush. It was worth what I paid but I would prefer a more comfortable hotel.

Location is very poor, the area outside the hotel is very dirty does not look family friendly. The hotel staff were not polite and the room was also far from a good room. I spent around 30 minutes only in the hotel but that time it was clear that it was not a family friendly hotel nor the right place. The toilet flush was rotating 360 degrees and the water kept flowing. This was during in the first flush. the bed and the interiors of the room looked very poor quality. The view from the room, less said the better.

Property is very convenience to transportation. The room is a very good size for 2. But the carpet in the room needs to be improved so as the washroom, you see rust all around the bath tub and the shower curtain should be a bit longer so that the water does not splash over the bath tub. Once you checked in, one don't interact with the staffs.

Property in an older neighborhood! It’s on a market st staff members are helpful and knowledgeable of their work functions! Hotel is in good condition but too much second hand smoke ! Buffet is all traditional Chinese food no western options ! Beautiful views from bedroom windows ! I was in the 25th floor ! Affordable hotel though! Location is great for visiting Macao ! Cost 40 uSD for. Taxi to the airport! Area felt safe day and night but always noise pollution

Not Comfortable and Clean to Stay

The renovation seems not updated and the facilities especially in bathroom are old and not clean enough. In particular, the towels were found dirty and not thoroughly cleaned for use. The mattress is too hard for sleeping and the quilt is too thin to keep body warm. No service for baggage movement even no provision of cart at concierge for guests' use. Lot of improvements are considered required to satisfy the customers.

This is my third time stay in Ramada because it is conveniently located and close to my extended family members.

Easy access to transportation wether bus or train. Wet market & multiple stores in front which can get crowded or noisy.

the countertop in the bathroom is too small, no hanger to hang up the towel . The bath towel is poor material.

Not a good hotel for the price. The stench in the lobby is eye-watering, smells like rotten meat which lingers in every nook and cranny of the first and second floors. We needed to hold our breath to avoid gagging when running to and from the lifts. Room was small, but that's to be expected. The bed however, was as hard as the floor! It was so uncomfortable, we woke up multiple times during the night due to the hard beds. Good thing the hotel was able to provide more pillows when we asked for it though. One thing to note, housekeeping did not vacuum the carpets in the room (or if they did, it was a bad job) for the 6 nights we stayed. "Rooftop Pool" was closed, so we couldnt even enjoy that view...which was a bummer. Location is OK, about a 10 min walk to the MTR station. Wouldn't be staying here again (or by extension, any other related properties) that's for sure.

Need renovation

The power of exhaust fan in the bathroom is very week not enough to exhaust out the humidity after shower. Staff in all areas are very friendly and helpful. The property would need a major refurbishment in particular bathrooms where we can see rust and wooden deterioration. A microwave provided instead of a stove would be more functional in family suites. One more last thing which caused us a bit inconvenience: during our whole stay, we always had two USB cables out on the table of the bedroom for recharging our phones / ipads. One in perfect condition and the other one was taped with sticker tape. On Thursday 16/11, we found the good perfect one was gone missing. We searched everywhere without any luck. We do not intend to blame anyone but just have something for your notice.

Room need maintain and upgrade, no tissue paper, power plug not working. Staff are friendly and helpful.

During our 7 nights stay, the beds are comfortable and is quite at night. We enjoy our stay. We stayed at this Hotel 4 years age and we will do the same in our future visit to Hong Kong.

1. Did not like the fact that the hotel was near a Wet-Market. 2. Room has musty odor. 3. Rest room caulking around toilet, bath tub and wall tiles were severely moulded. 4. Draperies were moldy and dirty. 5. Beds were super hard.

The property is poorly maintained. The pictures in the website were taken in grand opening years ago. Actual room condition is totally different from the pictures in website. We were cheated by the website’s pictures. It was smelly in the room. We just stayed one night and cancelled the rest of the nights. Staffs were friendly and helpful. It should be rated as 2.5 stars and not 3.5 stars. Toilet in the washroom was not in good condition.

The room was dated and felt very dirty. The elevators broke down a couple times as well. We won’t be returning to this hotel.

Avoid at all costs

This was the second hotel of our 2 week stay in Hong Kong and by far the worst one. The location itself is situated on top of a fish and meat market which has a permanent smell. That's not too big of an issue, chalk it up to how some areas are. But at night when we headed back to the room and theyre hosing down the streets are when the giant cockroaches come flooding out. There are also sex workers actively soliciting people on the streets out front. The room itself is the worst. It was a non-smoking room but the smell of cigarettes was so strong we consistently had sore throats and allergies every night we spent there. May not be just the smoke itself when we look at thr room. The vents are dusty and mold is all over the vents and walls. Possible toxins being breathed in. Stains and rust everywhere and wallpaper is peeling; cracks like that allow for bed bugs and other insects to breed. Saw one of those on the bedding. Absolute nightmare if we ended up bringing bed bugs home. Ended up checking out early and losing the $ spent on the reservation. Had to additionally pay for another hotel just for health and sanity reasons. Not the best part of our vacation and defeats the purpose of a place to relax and rest after a long day exploring the city.

the staff worked on July 24 around 2pm at the luggage dropped off was very helpful. He helped us to call the taxi and also carried us to carry the luggage to the taxi. Much appreciated.

The room service staff is ok. They kept asking us cleaning the room even though we don’t want sometimes. The room hygiene is bad. My daughter was bitten by something. I complained to the hotel but they have no response. The room service staff helped us to put more bed sheets to the bed. The front desk staff and back office staff are very unprofessional. One early morning, the front desk called our room. He should have called the wrong room. He didn’t even say sorry but I was awakened. I felt so bad. Overall, I won’t stay in the hotel again.

I like the employees. They were very nice. My room was mouldy, and it was smelly. I told the reception, and he sent the cleaner to clean my room immediately. Because it was mouldy, the smelly didn't go away, so I had to ask to change room. The hotel needs to be remodeled because the wall was peeled off, and the carpet was stained. The room looked dirty, The equipment never worked right. The refrigerator wasn't cool enough. The outlets were not convenient.

Dust string hanging down in the exhaust van very dirty tuber stand for bathing so I took it off and never used it again. Worst of all, I woke up in 0235 and found SIX bed buds in the blanket and I killed them all, all of them is full of blood,must be mine! I went downstairs ask for change of room from1904 to 2302. When I went back to take my belongings,I find out that the manager himself stripped the bedding cover and the blanket s tout to his office. When I try to use the new room’s safe to keep my passport and money I don’t need for short 3 days trip to China, It cannot open and the manager has to ask the mechanic to use the master key to open the safe and change the battery’s. I had a a horrible and sleepless night 。 THE. HOTEL IS SO OUT OF SHAPE and YOU still rate a 3 STAR what a shame

Comfortable living and great location

The location is great, right at the downtown area, walking distance to shopping. Metro station is right under the building, a very comfortable stay!

Booked the family room for our family of 3 which includes a 6 year old. The condition of the room would be best described as decrypted. Carpet was heavily stained and coming off the floors, wood on the doors and walls split and peeling, ants crawling on every surface, and the USB charging ports all not functional. To say the hotel was not worth the price would be a severe understatement. Avoid if you have other options and be aware if you don’t.

Suites with 2 separate sleeping areas were spacious, though very dated. There were no amenities - no hair dryer, no cutlery (not even a teaspoon) despite having a small kitchenette. Views on the 27th floor were impressive. Windows opened wide for ventilation. However, the beds were rock-hard. The room reeked with an overpowering cigarette smell despite air purifiers. This forced us to relocate for the remainder of our vacation. We booked in 2 day trenches via expedia and were able to cancel our remaining 8 days.

This hotel do not offer house keeping service. we need to clean up our own trash and place it next to the door. no need to mention about the toilet or bedding, all DIY !! I don't think it is a big deal during the COVID period, but they have to mention on their website about the house keep service is suspended, so customer have other choices !!!!

Fair stay

Everything is ok except wifi sucks and no bottle water provided. You have to pay for bottle water. Hotel is a bit old, but the price is decent so can't complaint too much. I spent my 14 days quarantine there which makes water and wifi more important since you cant go out.

I did my 14-day quarantine here. For what I paid, the stay wasn’t bad at all. In fact, the staff upgraded my room upon check-in, which provided more space. The hotel itself is a bit outdated and I do wish Hong Kong wouldn’t allow smoking in its buildings. The smoke certainly travels through the ventilation system and is a bit annoying for someone who doesn’t smoke. Overall, my stay was a good one.

My maid stayed there. We found their service very good and the staffs are extremely helpful and understanding.

It is quiet and clean. I was going my quarantine there so amenities were not applicable to me.

cleanliness in a Hong Kong Hotel I have ever seen!

As soon as I entered the hotel, I was greeted by the security right at the door. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is spacious compared to a lot of the newer hotels. The only thing that put me off is the total lack of cleanliness. The room was a like it had not been used for many years, cob webs and dust and dirt is in every corner seriously! The most disgusting thing is when I turned up the glasses in the bathroom for bushing my teeth, the 2 glasses both were so dirty!!!! One with dried toothpaste marks at the bottom, the other one was with black mold at the bottom! So disgusting that couldn’t believe it is under the Ramada brand! Well, understood the the rate has hit bottom due to the instability in HK but it should trade of with the hotel basic.

The room had a strong wet towel smell which i think there had no one staying in the room for a long time. Spacious for Hong Kong Standards. The view from the roof top pool is amazing.

Hotel was great! They upgraded us to a suite for no extra charge. Housekeepers were wonderful. Good selection of breakfast items. I would definitely stay again. They also offer a shuttle service.
