A good choice for a stay in central Porto Alegre!

We got off to a rocky start when our hotels.com reservation could not be found in the Radisson system! It took about 1/2 an hour to get it organized, but the staff were very friendly and apologetic throughout the process. The bonus was when we finally got to our room we had been upgraded to a King bed without prior notice. The room was quiet, very basic, but clean. The bathroom was bright with a good shower. All-in-all considering the convenient location, this Radisson was a good choice for us, reasonably priced, with very courteous, friendly staff. We would stay there again.

Old hotel with bad infrastructure.

The hotel is very old, the room badly decorated and not comfortable at all. The service was great though.

Rooms are in poor condition for the price. Laghetto is cheaper and much nicer. Ibis is much cheaper and of the same quality. Sheets had holes and the bathroom was horrible.

Fine hotel and reasonable price. The other 4 start hotel in the city (Sheraton) are nicer and is closer to restaurants

Great stopover hotel

Stopover on the way to Gramado from the US, but it was perfect. The front desk staff helped for Porto Alegre info and went out of their way to orient us for the rest of the trip. If you need anything, ask for Bruno!

Great location

Great location in a very upscale residential area.

Nice hotel close to restaurants. The area is clean and safe. Easy taxi stand right outside. Supermarket is a block down the road.

very accessible, client friendly and gorgeous hotel

This was my third stay at the Melia Jardim Europa. The location is very handy for meetings and restaurants and the hotel is fine but not exceptional. The AC in my room this time was not particularly effective but otherwise a decent stay.

Overall great stay with great service. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very friendly. I will definitely go back again. One thing is the cable tv does not cater for international people i.e. Movies not in English so wanting to relax in the room was not fun.

My First but not Last Stay.

This was my first stay at this hotel in Porto Alegre but I have stayed at Radisson's in other parts of the world. Everything was above average except for the beds in my room. I had two single beds that had large lamps attached to the headboards right beside the pillows. The beds were comfortable except for knocking my head against the lamp throughout the night. The neighbourhood was fine too and not too far from the airport, restaurants, etc., via taxi.

Simple And Comfortable

Good quality hotel. The only problem is that there is some construction is going on the top floors (or somewhere else) and the noise is omnipresent... The staff refuse to acknowledge that. But the noise is there and is pretty annoying. Otherwise everything is clean and working, though it is not luxurious place by any means. If you are looking for one - look somewhere else.

Good hotel

Great hotel, but it is a bit far from the downtown. Not much within walking distance, but a quick taxi ride from the popular Moinhos district. Hotel staff was very friendly and courteous, checked me in early and got me a room on a higher floor. Overall, very pleasant experience.

Good hotel for business travel, nice staff

Rooms are spacious and clean. Concierge and attending staff very attentive and cordial. Hotel lacks in-house gym, pool, spa. Maintenance problems: Pumps and filters of watering system are very noisy.

Consistent and upgrading

Hotel is undergoing rennovation both physical and operational. Working on upgrading experience which will be welcome as Porto Alegre has very few good options. Have stayed here several times and have always had consistent experience.

Great location, getting remodeled, bad food

The breakfast was horrible, the staff seemed to be very unhappy complaining about the management. One of the employees actually came up to us to apologize for the way the lady from the front desk had treated us. He also explained that the management staff would be changing sometime soon and that the food they serve was second hand, bad quality and I could definitely tell when eating the breakfast. The hotel is still under construction, everything seems to be remodeled which is good. Awesome neighborhood. No gym, no pool. For Porto Alegre it is still a decent place to stay.

Good neighborhood.

It is a good hotel. At the moment we stayed there. It was under modification, it was a little bit annoying but there was nothing they can do about it. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is really healthy. Porto Alegre is a beautful city.

I stayed here before. The hotel in nice and rooms confy but the current construction is an issue. Hopefully they will be done soon.

Good hotel in great neighborhood

The hotel is not up to international standards for comfort, but is nice. Large rooms, good bathroom and great (free) breakfast. AC is old and bedding could be much nicer. Some employees don't speak great english, but some do. Good neighborhood for Porto Alegre. Quiet for sleeping.

Primeiramente hotel se diz pet friendly. Cobra taxa de 115 a diaria e nao oferece vama nem pote de agua e nem tapete higienico. Nao pode transitar com pet nas areas comuns, somente se for no colo. Relamente NÃO É PET FRIENDLY. Piscina fechada em obras e no site nao consta aviso algum. Alias essa obra nem no com3co eeta.

Era uma repetição de experiencias excelentes, mas desta vez não tivemos a mesma sorte. Tivemos problemas com wifi. No café da manhã muita gente no mesmo horario.

Bom para viagem com pet

Estávamos com pet e fomos muito bem recebidos. O kit pet é excelente, tem tudo que precisa (caminha, mantinha, tapetinho higiênico, potinhos e até um brinquedinho). O quarto espaçoso, bem iluminado, com uma excelente sacada. Atendimento cortês e eficiente.

Tranquila, confortável, bom atendento, com um serviço de room service impecável. Cafe da manhã bem servido , com variedades deliciosas inclusive com um "shot da imunidade" e produtos especificos para intolerantes e alérgicos. Um senão para a tapioca, onde espera-se uma delícia tenra, macia e saborosa e tivemos o que parecisa ser uma tapioca de aço (tão dura e sem gosto era) Espero poder retornar e viver dias prazerosos novamente...

Minha estadia no Hotel Art Transamérica foi excelente! O quarto era bom e confortável, e muito bem equipado. A cama proporcionou noites de sono reparadoras, e o ambiente acolhedor superou minhas expectativas. Além disso, a localização é excelente, e o atendimento foi sempre atencioso e cordial. Ter um salão de beleza no hotel foi bem útil. O café da manhã super completo. Recomendo este hotel para quem busca conforto e qualidade!

Ficamos em um quarto reformado , amplo vô mobiliário novo e bem decorado. Bom chuveiro e funcionários da recepção muito atenciosos. O restaurante é muito bom, mas teve uma confusão de pedidos mas nada que estragasse a experiência. O preço é compatível mas é não barato .

Decepcionante e barulhento: não consegui descansar

Infelizmente, minha experiência neste hotel foi bastante frustrante. Durante minha estadia, não consegui descansar ou dormir devido ao barulho incessante vindo do quarto acima. Era como se alguém estivesse andando de salto alto e havia muita gritaria, o que tornou impossível relaxar. Liguei duas vezes para a recepção para informar sobre o problema, mas a única resposta que recebi foi que iriam falar com os hóspedes para diminuir o barulho. No entanto, nada mudou. O barulho continuou e minha noite foi completamente arruinada. É inaceitável que um hotel não consiga garantir um ambiente tranquilo para seus hóspedes, especialmente durante a noite. Eu esperava mais e, infelizmente, não voltarei a me hospedar aqui.

Não foi a primeira vez que ficamos neste hotel. É uito agradável, nua regiao silenciosa. Tem bem proxio um excelente supermercado. Nao reservo com cafe da manhã, compro sempre algo no supermercado e levo para o hotel. Hotel limpo, estrutura muito boa.

O quarto é maravilhoso, mas o serviço deixa a desejar. Escolhi este hotel para noite de núpcias, pedimos café da manhã no quarto e isso não foi atendido. O hotel também não tem concierge, já que pedi flores para minha noiva e não tinham nenhuma opção.

Minha estadia neste hotel foi excelente! Recebi um atendimento impecável na recepção, o quarto era espaçoso, limpo e tinha uma varanda com uma bela vista. A disponibilidade de um ferro de passar e uma tábua foi muito útil. O café da manhã oferecia uma grande variedade de opções deliciosas e a localização do hotel é ótima. Recomendo fortemente!

Ar condicionado não gela, péssima instalação dele em cima de um televisão sem dar vazão para o quarto, 2 horas após o check in peguei minhas coisas e fui embora .

O hotel é muito bom, mas o check in foi péssimo! Cheguei 1 da manhã para dormir com 2 crianças e o atendente insistia que não achava a reserva e questionava porque fechei no hoteis.com. Demorou 30 minutos!!!!!
