Beautiful hotel
The elevators do not work unless you use the key card, which is something that the front desk didn’t mention at check in. We were in the elevator for some time trying to figure out why it wasn’t working with some other guests who had just checked in as well. Other than that, the stay was ok.
Awesome place friend Ly staff
The outlets by the bed didnt hold tight. Some of the wallpaper was peeling and cracked. Very clean though.
Good location. The interior is a little outdated. The restaurant is very cool with wonderful views, but food options are limited.
A Couple Badgers vist the Gophers to start 2025
New Years Eve & New Years Day--Pool and Hot Tub were perfect, Dinner at Harbor 360 restaurant delightful, room restful---perfect get away
This place was probably awesome when it was built. The pool area is definitely a bit dated, but my kids loved it and thought it was the best. I like that the sauna is in the pool area. And the pool was surprisingly warm. Our room on the 14th floor was exactly as expected, the view was great. I don’t understand the big deal about the parking garage in a lot of the reviews. I did notice the pigeon corner on the lower level, lol. But seriously, no biggie. Clearly the pigeons won that battle. If you are one of those people who can’t stand a slight weird/old smell in the lobby/elevator, this is not the place for you.
Second stay here. Elevators are a constant nightmare.
Hotel looked to be re-done but showed signs of being pretty old.
Fun place to stay. Can walk to most shops through the skywalk or on street. Older building but 360 restaurant is a must
Not So Enjoyable
Front desk staff was ok except for the person that checked us in, she never looked at me and didn't explain how the elevators worked or offered any information about the hotel. We called down for pillows and never got them. The elevators are rather small and VERY slow. We had to wait 15min one time to just get downstairs. The restaurant never had any reservations or openings for us to eat or even just sit to have a drink. There is no complimentary anything that is worth mentioning. The coffee was horrible, and we saw many full cups left in the parking lot. The toilet paper and kleenex were not soft at all and we ended up going and buying our own. When we went to the pool there was no towels, and it took the front desk over 20min to bring some in there. The hot tub was only half full and the jets were throwing water everywhere and it never got hot like it should be. The shower in my room when you turn the knob on for the faucet the shower would spit water everywhere even without the knob flipped for the shower. Only good part was the room was clean and the view from the room looking at the harbor and Bentleyville lights.
So convenient
Good location, but bad condition & marijuana smell
The hotel has a great location and it’s historic, but the hallways reeked of marijuana smoke and it even kind of felt like the smell was coming into the room in the morning. It is run down and in desperate need of a remodel.
Was the perfect place to stay and eat to enjoy Bentleyville in the wintertime. The walk to Bentleyville was safe and easy, and no dealing with long lines and parking fees. We ate at the restaurant at the top of the hotel too, there was an hour wait but it was worth it for the experience and to see Bentleyville from above. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was decent.
Loved the restaurant on top floor. Pool and hot tub were great!
Revolving top floor restaurant. Great 360 degree view.
Hotel stay
The elevators were really slow and had to wait half hour to get an empty one to get on. Hot tub was barely hot and not enough water in it. Restaurant stopped serving food a couple hours before close and really slow service.
Close proximity to the Bentlyville lights
Loved every part of this place
It was clean but had some stuff on the door looked like a spilled coffee. Biggest issue was that the door that connects the rooms did not dampen any noise and could hear the other guests the entire night
Hotel is very old and not updated, room was not clean and elevators were very slow
N/a
Older hotel that they have tried to give a facelift to. Need more than two elevators for 15 floors. Shortly after check in, another family entered our room. Not really sure what happened but we had both been provided keys and the same room number. They apologized and provided food voucher for the 360 restaurant. Very disappointed that the skywalk was closed. Made the walk to Bentleyville cold and slippery
great walleye fingers and wildrice soup
Beds were surprisingly comfortable. The hotel is ok, but it is definitely showing its age, everything is just a little run down. The revolving restaurant has spectacular views, but the food is only so-so.
I loved the rotating floor.
We had a great time staying at Harborview Radisson. We especially liked the 360 restaurant. They had awesome margaritas for only $10. We were there during a young hockey players tournament. All the kids were so polite and there wasn't any noise from them at all.
Definitely feel the room was over priced. The bedding was super thin and not very warm for winter bedding. Pillows are paper thin had to wait on the elevators for literally 15 minutes everytime we wanted/needed to use them. Pool was decent nothing fancy by any means at all. Probably wouldn’t stay there again do to high room prices and low quality I have had better rooms at 2 star motels to be completely honest
Have stays here a few times and I really like it. Easy access from the freeways and covered parking
Front desk staff is very short with people and not very nice. No soap in the room had to request soap. Capet is stained, shower hot water becomes really hot or really cold as someone next door or upstairs flushes the toilet or open the shower, it is almost impossible to take a shower in the morning. Elevator is dirty and you have to wait 15 mins for the elevator. Ta loud with kids or drunk people
Still a spot, great views of the lake!
Overpriced
For the price of the room, the carpet had stains on it. There was some wallpaper with stains in the bathroom, which always grosses me out, and there was nowhere to sit other than a bed. There was one chair.
Nearby to everything.
the view was nice, room could have been cleaner.
Front desk staff did not seem personable. Website taunted skywalk but it was closed even on a night with multiple big events at DECC. Menu at Harbor 360 was disappointing…like mostly bar food. Stay did not include breakfasts like most restaurants do. Overall, it was a bit disappointing.
We had a wonderful suite room!!
Won’t recommend.
The room was set up as if cleaned but clearly hadn’t been touched. The bathroom was disgusting and after pulling the bedding back we found tons of hair and crumbs between the sheets. Don’t do it!
Always a good time
Love this place, so many memories for me. The restaurant upstairs is top notch!
Check in was smooth. The Radisson brand used to be prestigious, now it's ok. This is an older property that could use some sprucing up. The elevators are slow and always seem to be full, so long waits. The bar that used to be at street level is closed, and the one in the 15th floor rotating restaurant is small and spendy and has lousy service. The service in the restaurant is nonexistent and the food is average. The only redeeming thing is the view. We stayed here for its walking distance proximity to the Bentleyville holiday display and because it's cheaper than the $300 a night places in Canal Park.
Enjoyable stay
Fabulous view of Bentleyville across the road. Hotel was nice, not exceptional. Beds were comfortable. No one cleans your room or brings clean towels or glasses or empties the garbage during your stay. It’s up to the customer to search these out. Food in the revolving restaurant was good and the service there was great.
It was a little noisy on my floor a 10 pm last night
It was strange to me that our bathtub wasn't totally functional. It didn't hold water, I told hotel staff and they offered for someone to come look at it which I said I didn't mind that it didn't hold water. I just hope they looked into it after we left for the next guest. I also found a pair of wadded up socks in one of the corners of our room and behind the counter in our room was disgusting, all kinds of trash behind it. I only ended up discovering this when my son threw a toy and it fell behind said counter. All in all it was a decent stay for the price we paid.
lobby was fine and the resturant but room was not
Nice place
The hotel could use some updates. The carpet had stains and the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped. Some of the fixtures could use some repair.
I liked that the hotel was walking distance to where I had to go. Also the staff was great, very nice and helpful. The rooms are a little different being round, which makes the bathrooms very small. But all in all it was a good stay. Would stay here again
The lower parking lot was raggedy! Then When trying to checkin no one was at the front desk. People were waiting and the cleaning person had to find the receptionist. The smell of my room was terrible. The carpet was stained. There was food left in the refrigerator of my room. There was brown splatter stains on one of the beds and headboards. The bathroom door had chunks of wood missing. The tub drain was so nasty and there was brown smelly water water that didn’t go down all the way and it was broken so I couldn’t take a bath. I had a late flight and wanted to come to a nice room but no. I had no energy to even complain but I did take a few pictures. I will never stay there again.
cool rooftop restaurant
Harbor 360 was a beautiful restaurant/bad. Service was great at the front desk. Light inclines on the walk to and from Canal Park which took about 20 minutes. Pool shower did not work. Beds were a little uncomfortable. Amenities were good in the room otherwise. I liked it here because I didn't have to pay for parking in Canal Park. But the price of the room definitely reflects the convenience of the area.
I was told at check in that even the accessible rooms have the shower in the bathtub. How is someone with limited mobility supposed to shower?
Needs some fixes - walls and elevators
The property itself is a bit dated- could use a few fixes of the walls, update of the hot tub, refurbishing of the elevators, and somehow dealing with the combination smell of mustiness and faint chlorine smell upon entering would help a lot. The rooms themselves are really pretty cool (although the one I stayed in showed signs of wear- the phone didn’t work and the TV remote needed batteries). The restaurant on the top of the building was fascinating! - didn’t eat there so I can’t vouch for the food, but drinks were fine and the view was incredible. Sauna was excellent but the hot tub is WAY too small for an hotel if that size and the jets were throwing water everywhere. The staff was very helpful.
Harbor 360 was nice but the hotel itself is aging.
Great location, convenient and central. Good views of the lake.
The elevator took a long time, the bathroom was very small, and the hot tub is not maintained.
ok
Most people who go to Duluth are not going for the accommodations. However, I will say this hotel is a bit run down. We were not on the tower side, but the other part of the hotel in the parking lot (attached by a skyway.) We were there for hiking, so it served its purpose. If you have kids they will love the pool, hot tub and sauna. The kids also loved the restaurant that moves on the top floor. They views are pretty spectacular. Also it's a 15 minute walk to Canal Park and they allow dogs.
Room smelled like smoke
Boooooo
They double booked my suite :(
Fun top floor views
I was generally pleased with our stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the restaurant was good. The only problem is the hotel is dated and is worn. Its time to do a major remodel and update. They also need another level of parking and some security outside as i was approached several times by homeless people begging cigarettes and money. This doesnt bother me much but could be very off-putting to others. The hotel was great 20 years ago and could be grest again with some work.
f
Dog friendly!
There is one set of elevetors and they are super slow. Other than that great stay
wow this was a really bad hotel. its basically falling apart. my room wasn't clean - there was hair on the bathroom floor and the walls were stained and leaking. the bathroom tile was grimy, the hallways are old and need repair. not very happy.
Good location if you have an event at DECC. Nice restaurant! Elevators and parking weren’t great, but perfectly fine stay.
Construction around front of hotel
It was very nice quiet. The hotel rooms news additional renovation.
Proximity to DECC is great.
Then hottub jets seemed to be malfunctioning. The water was spraying 12inches above the hottub. The restaurant was a cool experience but the food really had no flavor. The view was amazing, hotel seamed very safe.
Parking area is not that great! Staff is not friendly
I have been staying at the Radisson Duluth for thirty years. Used to be a lovely property. I understand it can’t compete with the properties at Canal Park but they have done some really dumb things. One very irritating one is the once spacious bathroom was too small for two people to get ready in the morning. Had to walk around the toilet to get in and the toilet was sticking out from under the vanity. I had to take a picture of this because it was so unbelievable. The view in the dining room is amazing but the food was like “fast food”. Short on servers. One to be exact. Reception was also one person. The lobby leaves something to be desired. Paid Canal Park price.
The location is perfect for us when attending concerts etc. The hotel is older but still in pretty nice shape. We like the ambiance of the main lobby and the room decor. The pool is nice and a good size but the hot tub needs some adjustments on the jets, the shower at the pool has a knob that is difficult to pull to start the shower, and you have to turn the sauna on well in advance to get it hot. But that aside we have enjoyed the pool every visit. The revolving restaurant on the top floor is the best and we have enjoyed many meals up there during our stays and it never disappoints. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.
I loved how central this property was for our stay. We were able to walk most places and not have to worry about driving or parking in an unfamiliar city. The restaurant was good and a unique experience giving spectacular views. Overall our stay was great. However, we did encounter a cleanliness issue. We didnt notice it until our final day, which was gross that we had been there for 3 days. I mentioned it at the front desk, so they could ensure it was cleaned for the next guest. The lack of response from the person working at the front desk was disappointing. Zero customer service, didn't even speak to me, just gave me a head nod.
Great location, very dated hotel.
Walk distance to all locations that i wanted to see.
Good
So convenient and walkable to attend concert at the DECC
Overall a Nice stay with comfortable bed. Did use earplugs due to traffic noise. Parking was not secure so be aware of leaving valuables.
I recommend this hotel. The most affordable among other hotels in the area.
Great location for getting around down town . East parking
Good value for money, bathroom shower floor looked dirty could be stained
When we pulled up to the hotel, there was a man on bath salts out front. He was completely out of his mind. Other guest were hiding behind us in fear. He then made his way into the lobby the same time as us. The area in general felt unsafe. When we got to our room, our tv signal was scrambled. We called the front desk, and the maintenance man showed up about 20 minutes later. His fix for the tv was to pound it against the wall 6 times. It fixed it temporarily, but 30 minutes later, we had to call the front desks again. They were able to find a different tv for our room that worked eventually. When we went to the hot tub, it was 3/4 empty and there was a family that had a 3 month old baby in the very hot tub! No one from the staff said anything to them, and we were afraid to speak up. I would never stay here again. We were here for a conference, and next year I will stay off site.
Weekend stay over.
Good size room and good security inside. Queen bed very comfortable. Off street parking is free and you get what you pay for. Years ago, this hotel used to be among the best now only average. Bathtub was original and stained, no ventilation in bathroom. The rotating restaurant is a must experience - unfortunately only two waitresses but they were good as was the food.
Simply a dive
Very friendly ataff
Great location. Easy parking. 360 restaurant is fun but food isnt great anymore. Room was updated except for rusty, noisy ac unit. Some old rusty bathroom accessories. Should be nicer for that price.
yes, outdated, but fine
Liked the 360 restaurant. Disappointed in the pool area having no bathroom or changing area.
Outdated and dingy
Love this hotel, may need a little bit of renovation!
Was clean in rooms but bar area was old and needs makeover.
Friendly staff, clean, beautiful view! Only problem was not enough hotel parking Saturday night and I had to park in the overflow lot across the street. Thank goodness the weather was nice. In the future, it is suggested to build more parking floors. All in all, very nice stay.
Walkable
Definitely was thinking that our stay was going to be nicer than it was. The ceiling paint was coming off. The tub didn’t want to drain properly. The toilet was extremely low to the ground. We were hoping for a nice clean up to date room.
Quick and easy check-in and check out process. Clean and quiet room with an amazing view of the Duluth Harbor.
Great location and easy to reach. Many dining options within a few blocks and a great rotating restaurant on the top floor. Enjoyed our stay!
The hotel shows it's age. The upstairs restaurant's food I would not feed my dog. The server was great but the management was poor. Won't be staying there again as Duluth has more options for my money.

This place is a dump. The people that work there are great, but this is a dump. Why did I pay this much money to stay here, & why would anyone charge this much money to stay here. I will go out of my way to tell people not to stay here. What's more depressing is that I spent the time to type this. G'day.
