Good hotel
The Radisson Blu Athens was very stylish and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant, bar and pool have a great vibe. The entire staff was very welcoming
The hotel staff was helpful and friendly
The rooftop pool was wonderful!
Excellent for my birthday night
My trip was disturbed because I was not feeling well, but when I checked in I got upgraded to a premium room with free breakfast on my birthday. It’s my first time trying Radisson Blu chain hotel and I will deffo try it next time! The swimming pool and sauna room is very good too
rooms are very old in terms of decoration. definately not even 4 star.
Kind helpful staff, free water bottles in room. Free coffee at ground floor. Safe.
Good location and nice breakfast.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit differrent, you needed your keycard pluggedintoaccessthepowerin the room but the service was great. I would stay here again.
Excellent stay
Everything about our stay just worked so well. Recommended.
Fantastic Breakfast!!! A huge assortment of all kinds of fresh fruit, cheeses, breads, eggs, non-alcoholic beverages. Absolutely delicious, with the exception of the coffee. The machines had the facade of "fresh ground" yet I have no doubt that it was pure chemical. Fantastic Pool and bar area, which sadly closes at 7pm and which was way to early for the summer season when it only gets dark around 9pm. Our room and amenities matched the photos, only after we put up a fight! They tried to put us in room #204 that looked nothing like the photos and had a the "wonderful" eye to eye view of the employee's smoking/sitting area. Not at all what we dreamed for our 25th anniversary getaway!! When we asked to change rooms they flat out lied to us over the room phone and told us that they were sold out. With the exception of this employee, the others were quite helpful and displayed very pleasant demeanors! Taxis were plentiful and that was a good thing because the hotel is a bit far from the primary attractions. We found a fantastic restaurant, Ama Lachei, which we highly recommend and was only about a 10 min walk away. We went there twice during our stay!!
I highly recommend Radisson Blu. The Hotel is uniquely situated bedside a major park and museums, with a 360 view of Athens, including the Acropolis. The pool and bar, recently renovated, offer a luxurious experience of great service, comfort, and relaxation. The rooms are esthetically very pleasing with modern facilities, Nespresso machine, and great views (if requested). The front desk staff are highly attentive, professional, and helpful. The only problem I encountered was inconsistent and often late housekeeping services and technical services (the phones did not work and were not fixed).
Average. Nothing wrong, nothing over the top fabulous. Comfortable , good enough breakfast, friendly enough staff. No major complaints.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was ideal and the breakfast was very good.
Hotel was fine, staff was good, property location and neighborhood is off
good place
Every thing was worth than we expected ,The hotel the area and the flight from Manchester to Athens Had 4 hour 5hours delay . Worth holiday which we ever had
Need to improve Cleanness
The hotel location is good and they have upgraded my room as well. But I have issue with cleanness as they have not clean the room next morning and toilet is in bad position when I came back from my Business meeting . I have not complained on that time but they need to improve if they want repeat customer .
Careless room safety
Hotel forgot to deactivate the previous guests access to the room and they tried to come in there late at night. Very scary as we were traveling with my mom who is 83 years old. Also, after finally falling asleep, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. all the front desk and say is sorry
What VIP amenities? This is the second time I stay in a hotel through Expedia and not receive VIP amenities.

The Reception staff were so friendly and helpful and do was the young porter excellent service nothing was an effort
I booked the hotel as I really wanted a hotel with a pool. The pool was not open on either day when I stayed. It was really disappointing. This should have been communicated to me when I booked at the very least. Furthermore, in general, and even though the reception staff were very nice and helpful, the property just seemed badly managed. A lift was out of use and plaster boards were just put up against it to stop people trying to enter, it looked awful.
Lovely staff and decent room. Pool was closed. Loud building works took place during our stay.
This property needs renovation Staff are very lazy for everything I had to call 2 or 3 times The door luck wasn't working properly so almost every night they had to connect a device to the lock and reset it so we can enter the room. Food was very good Area around the hotel is safe and clean
I got upgraded to the room with view of acropolis . All staff are very professional and I received an excellent service throughout. Breakfast was delicious. I will come back again
Breakfast buffet was great. Love the smell of the lobby. Water took a long time to heat up for showers.
Wonderful breakfast, great and kind staff
it was good
Hotel was ideal location for what we needed and a comfortable walk into the centre and all the attractions. Close to Metro and bus links. Hotel is classic in some cases and not all rooms are renovated like the pictures but are great all the same. We had an Acropolis view room and was comfortable and quiet. The staff are superb and Andaras Thanasis and his front of house team what dealt with us were amazing and really did make the stay. They are a credit to the brand. Could not do enough to help, even when I lost my passport.
2-night stay on a weekend. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, but maybe a refresh is due. The decor is a bit dated, the bathrooms in particular. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was really good, but also expensive.
Convenient hotel
Comfortable, convenient had a commercial feel to the hotel. Préfèred the Stanley hotel in Athens
First & foremost: The staff were very welcoming, friendly & accommodating. They took our luggage & kept it safe until our room was available. The Sauna & multi head shower was welcoming after walking for hours soaking in the sights. The bidet was a very welcoming touch.
It was a great stay
The hotel was very clean. There were not a lot of amenities around so having a restaurant in the hotel was great.
Good location but some of the stuff need to be more friendly and professionally
Very nice hotel in a very good location. Will definitely go back for my next visit in Athens
The rooms aren’t correctly as the description at the site The rooms not good Little disappointed.
We mainly booked this hotel because of the pool and in that area it did not disappoint. The pool is on the roof and it gives you a perfect view of the Athens area. There are a bus station and a subway station near the hotel and that made it easy to reach downtown Athens. Except for the Archeological museum that is close by, there is nothing in the area . The room was ok but it was definitely not a 5 star hotel room. The bathroom could use some updating that way there won't be a puddle after every shower.
Ok
Suite room was spacious, modern and had a balcony overlooking the park. Housekeeping was just about ok. Breakfast was “tourist” standard buffet. There are a Couple of nice cafes open nearby that provide a good alternative. The roof top bar and restaurant was great. Really good for dinner. As a gold member I was supposed to be receive a bottle wine and a guaranteed 2 hour late check out, neither of which were honoured. Location wise, it’s a 20 min walk from the main city center, or about 6 euros in a taxi.
Overall it’s a mediocre hotel. When booking we expected it to be a 5 start hotel with a nice pool and great services. Once we arrived , we have discovered that the pool closes very early. We also asked for one queen bed but ended up getting 2 twins put together. When it was brought up to the attention of the hotel stuff, they were not able to do much about it. There were so many other little things throughout our stay. I have to say it is not a 5 star hotel in my opinion.
Lovely hotel in heart of Athens! Excellent Hotel stuff, very helpful to arrange our taxis and transfers… we’ll be back
This location has a wonderful team on hand to help at any times. Provided additional support to find an emergency doctor, check a friend into the hotel when she arrived from hospital and made sure she was catered for until we got there. The room we were in was very old and need modernising. This photos should be on the website as well as were expecting a modern room. Their is a large seated reception area on the ground floor next to the restuarant which is closed during the day. Would be great if they could serve drinks on the ground floor, You can get drinks if you head up to the top floor by the pool and restuarant. A great location central to many places and good transport links. Taxi's were always available and the Radisson team who were very friendly & welcoming provided excellent help & support whenever help was asked. I would stay here again.
Staff was great but property needs an upgrade.
Long weekend break
It was a great stay as always. However I feel the hotel needs a make over…
I was given a room that was at best a single room even though I had paid for a double. It lacked all amenities - no towel bars, nor room for a suitcase, no robes - barely sufficient space to walk around the bed.
Great rooms - modern and spacious. Rooftop restaurant with an excellent menu and beautiful views of Acropolis. Great location
This hotel is very clean and the service is AMAZING! The staff accommodated an early check-in as we arrived in Athens early. They helped us settle in the lobby while they prepared our rooms, and provided us with everything we needed at our door at any time of day. They helped us book a taxi and learn about public transportation. Very friendly staff and convenient location.
Nice enough hotel, the area isn’t great though
Room is small, wall had a large stain on it. Shady neighborhood
Smallest rooms in the world.
Things i hate about this hotel/my room: 1. They gave me the smallest room in the world. 2. There was cigarettes smell in the night and in the morning even after talking to the hotel staff. 3. Old hotel need renovations. 4. The restruants always change opening and closing time, and some of them are always close. 5. Slow check in. 6. Breakfast was limited and repeated every day.
The staff were amazing especially Dionysius from the front desk and lady in the morning working in the front desk . They were very helpful and the staff in the breakfast were excellent and all the staff of this hotel were remarkable
Rooftop pool with great views.
Maybe it was because of Covid, but the rooftop pool did not open until 10:30 am. Oddly, despite the broiling air temperature, the water was so freezing that I shortened my usual swim and shivered for a while after, The fitness center was good.
Nice clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice roof-top pool, restaurant, bar with great views. Close to subway station and or healthy walk to interesting sights.
The staff and food were ok. However the rooms were small and AC didn’t always work well.
The young lady at reception was extra helpful in everything. Service with a smile.
We were put in an old musty room eventhough we had reserved with totally differently images of the hotel. We finally got changed into a renovated room which was much better. Not worth the hotel at all, would never go back.
Great location, good hotel - room to improve
Overall a great hotel in a central location. We walked to the Metro (Biktoria) to get around. The breakfast was ok re: options. Not many hot food options. Breakfast can get busy quickly. It isnt big so if you come during rush you may need to wait as we did. Consequently, cleanliness (in particular, the floor) was affected due to a speedy turnaround. There is a pool on the roof (right side of breakfast area). Unfortunately they ran out of towels. Never heard that before during travels around 30+ countries! Ive stayed at various Radisson Blu Hotels - this one is good due its location. However, it could be great if they focused more on the service related details to make guest experience better.
This is a great hotel in the center of Athens. High quality rooms and fantastic bathrooms. Large TV, fast WiFi, great breakfast buffet, very clean. The only downside was the parking situation- hotel located on a very busy street and there isn't the usual pull aside space in the front to unload, you basically stop in the bus lane or on the sidewalk. Paid parking in garage in the back, accessible from a narrow one way street. Garage is strange with no clearly identified spaces and very narrow but we found that this is normal for cities in Greece. Other than the parking, everything else was excellent.
Location is acceptable, but it is close to unsympathetic refugees, they are in park near the Hotel and in Victoria Square. Also the Hotel isn't modern and can't be rated as 5 stars hotel.
Very friendly staff. Beautiful hotel
Great stuff but the AC at the room is not cooling.pool is off winter otherhotes got heated pool
Pool was great. Food exceptional especially the club sandwich. Drinks are expensive though. Gym facilities good.
isa but was ok not Fabulous!
Nothing wonderful and Defo not 5*!
Excellent hotel had such a great time. They upgraded us for free to the standard room to the premium room with park view which was nicer and bigger. Any time we asked the reception for something for e.g an extra bed sheet, someone would do it within 5 minutes. The staff are very polite and attentive especially in reception and in the restaurant. The breakfast is amazing and is absolutely worth paying to have it included!!! They even have fresh honey inside the honeycomb on a rack out of the beehive which they cut pieces off. There is cooked and continental and you can have as much as you like. The view from the restaurant is amazing you have a panoramic view across the whole city including Acropolis. The swimming pool is lovely and the view is amazing again a panorama of the whole city 360 degrees. I watched the sunset from the pool area and it was lovely. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to Victoria Metro Station and then 1 stop to Omonia and 2 stops to Monastriaki or a 20 minutes walk to the centre down 1 straight road so it is an excellent location. Covid wise, the hotel is very hygienic and you can smell that cleaning is constantly taking place. The staff wear face coverings at all times. The only downside to the hotel is that the rooms at the front of the hotel can be quite loud at night with cars and sirens so I was woken up a few times in the night. It would probably be a good idea to request a room that faces the back of the hotel.
Me and my wife were absolutely blown away by this hotel. We came here as plans for our original honeymoon to Santorini were cancelled at VERY short notice. But we couldn’t be any happier with our choice. Immediately upon arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We checked into our Akropolis Suite room and the view definitely didn’t disappoint! Even in the current restrictions of COVID-19 we found the room to be incredibly clean and tidy. When it came to eating out on the Rooftop bar/ Restaurant we were amazed by the quality of service and the food and drinks were exceptional. The staff treated us as if were were old friends - in particular Giorgos the barman who was super friendly, charming and charismatic and also Vassiliki who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We even had an instance were one dish in particular ran out of an ingredient for the day but another staff member, Despina, made something custom for us that wasn’t even on the menu! As a constructive criticism there were about 20 or so light switches dotted about the room and we couldn’t find out what they did! We spent a good few minutes with many lights flicking on and off from every direction! Maybe if these were labelled or simplified that would make things a little easier. All in all, it was absolutely amazing stay - the room, the staff and overall experience were phenomenal and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
Satisfied overall
Very positive stay - probably due to a room upgrade. Nevertheless, service and facilities were satisfied. Breakfast needed some improvement in respect to the freshness of some food.
Around 25 mins walk to restaurants and bars and the historical sights. 5 mins walk to nearest metro for a two stop journey - so in a good location. Facilities are good, roof top pool with limited space for sun beds however and many were broken. We were pleased to be upgraded to a premium room with a balcony which spacious and had a large comfortable bed and a seating area. Room was cleaned but tea and coffee and cups never replenished so had to ask at reception for this to be done everyday! Breakfast was ok. Not a huge choice and the service was hit and miss. Drinks are expensive. Reception staff were great and really helpful.
The staff were so friendly and very accomodating.
Good location, amazing rooftop pool, about 30 mins pleasant walk to Plaka area, we loved this hotel
Excellent hotel, staff, room very clean , perfect overall
Overall, good value
Nice hotel, a bit tired and could do with a refurb but OK generally. Nice pool area. Breakfast was chaotic as not enough staff. The staff that were there tried really hard and were very pleasant despite being under pressure. BEWARE solo travellers if you walk to the Metro - the hotel is close to a dodgy bit of town with homeless people. We didn't have any problems there but I would not advise walking alone at night.
Amazing view, great meals, and awesome service. And nice pool!
The balcon of my suite, the Park view. The welcome drink also.
I like it that the hotel tries to be eco friendly but my towels were changed everyday anyway. The room was too hot and the thermostat was not working. I had to open the window but there was fumes from the exhaust coming into the room. Housekeeping removed cups, spoons, and face towels from my room but didn’t replenish them. When I called to ask for the cups, it took more than one call and more than one hour to get them.
I liked the room and the food. The service is great . Check in and out very smooth
Very nice property convenient to National Archaeological Museum and more.
Great location and friendly staff. Some rooms need redoing as a dated...
Disappointed
Booked a superior room but the room we had was small. Corner of bed was a few inches from the opened door. There was hardly any space for us to open our luggage; we could manage one a time or there was no walking room. We didn’t expect such a small room for the price we paid.
Employees were always willing to answer our questions.
Terrible coffee and charge you 4 euros for a cup, please charge more but with better quality
Great room and beautiful roof deck for watching sunset over Athens. Location not as nice as Plaka but within easy distance to major sites, airport, and great neighborhood restaurant "Alexandra" down street that concierge recommended.
Like all Radisson Blu's they are nice to stay in. Apart from my clogged sink it served it's purpose. I always choose Radisson Blu first, if possible.
They would not honor the 15.00 per room breakfast they wanted 18.00 euro per person
Good hotel
Perfect
It’s a normal basic hotel .Nothing wrong with it just expected more with Radisson name and price .
It’s a nice basic hotel .Staff are good and helpful but hotel itself is just normal .Nothing really good or bad about it .
High standard of service. Staff well trained. Breakfast is very good.
The rooftop pool and bar was great with an incredible view. Room was clean and modern. Bathroom well equipped. Only downside was the food and drinks in the hotel was a bit pricey.
Pics are deceiving
I booked 2 rooms with 2 king beds and received 1 room with 2 twin beds and 1 room with 3 twin beds. Was told the was Hotels.com fault. The area was not very nice and the pics on the internet are very deceiving. The Acropolis IS NOT close at all as theu have binoculars by the pool area in order to see it. I would not call this a 5 star hotel. I have been to 5 star hotels in Chicago, Las Vegas and Washington D.C. The staff was excellent, but i would not stay there again.
I liked the rooftop view. The lobby appeared a little run down.
Quick three night stay
A three night stay in Athens whilst visiting to watch a football match.
Lovely and luxurious hotel
We had a great stay in Athens. The hotel itself is absolute luxury. Staff very friendly, rooms lovely, pool area fantastic, good standard of gym and excellent breakfast. It was a brief walk (20 mins or so) to the more lively area of Athens in the evening (flea market area) which my wife and I didn’t mind at all as we enjoy walking. Just something to consider for those less active. There is a City Sight Seeing bus stop just around the corner from the hotel so it is still a good base to explore from.
Great room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Only the moldy tiles in the bathroom are unpleasant.
Great Hotel
Nice hotel with good facilities and a great buffet breakfast. poll and the view from the rooftop bar is spectacular. Gym is okay and the spar is good.
After leaving a "4 star" hotel in Athens, we decided to leave that hotel and book 3 rooms at the Radisson Blu. Superb conditions and rooms, wonderful service and friendly staff. This hotel is highly recommended to people staying a few days or lingers in Athens. The rooftop pool and bar with the look out view of the Parthenon and Acropolis is breath taking.
Long Weekend
Overall a good stay with the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace with its pool and bar was the best, a great way to unwind from day of walking around Athens. You have to be a careful as the local area does not its best and can be intimidating if you are on your own.

Enjoyed my stay, staff very attentive and great breakfast
