Our check in with Ntsiki was a good sign of all the nice things to come. (I do wish we had been offered an upgrade considering we were there for 6/7 nights/days. Our friend was there one night and was given an oceanfront upgraded room. ) Our room was convenient and comfortable and super clean. Everything we needed was provided. The included breakfast is out of this world. From fresh oysters on ice to award winning sparkling wines and cooked to order eggs and bakery goods to rival the best of Europe, this breakfast buffet was amazing. The service provided by manager, Xolie, and her team especially waitstaff Nadia & Bongiwe as well as Thabisa the hostess. Pardon me if I spelled any names wrong. They spoiled us. They remembered what coffee we liked and had the barista make them for us everyday. We enjoyed drinks and snacks on the patio in front of the sea where we could watch dolphins, whales, otters and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

Beautiful room

The location of this property is superb. I stayed in a 2-bedroom suite on the 2nd floor and the room was beautiful and spacious with everything you need. Very clean, beds were comfy and bathrooms were perfect. My friend stayed in a superior room which was equally lovely. Staff at check in was very friendly and efficient. I had ordered a cheese platter on arrival which was quite enjoyable. reasons why I did not give this property a perfect score: First, we had gone out for the day and when we came back there was water dripping from the ceiling and all over the floor. We noticed this when my 4yr old slipped on the water and fell on her back. We turned lights on and water was just dripping down. Maintenance attended to it (quite quickly I must say). We were told sometimes the aircon gets blocked and it overflows. Water was suctioned from the aircon and we waited for housekeeping to come mop the floor. If maintenance is aware that aircon has issues then it should be serviced and checked regularly so guests don’t come back and find hotel room under water and posing danger to kids. I had booked a second room for my friend and her daughter. When we checked out I was charged for mini bar services which they didn’t use. The hotel (Nandi) promised to contact me and credit me. I have not heard from them 5 days later Restaurant staff is amazing. Breakfast is a big spread and we enjoyed it. Dinner was also good (a la carte). I’ll stay there again hopefully with better experience

This was a full on 5 star experience. The staff particularly Manfred and David were so kind and would always be available to carry / move my bags before I could even touch the car door handle. This is our preferred hotel in Cape Town. It never disappoints. The location is perfect—view, proximity to beach, esplanade for walks, a buzzing Sunday market. There’s a shuttle to the Waterfront itself. Parking if you rent a car. I prefer to use Uber if necessary but there is a hotel car service. The staff crown it all. It was wonderful to see some faces and meet new faces—I hope the new stay. It’s what makes the place ‘work.’ You are recognized when you return, even after a long (COVID-era imposed) absence. On a special note: we arrived after the city had experienced a week of transportation disruptions that put pressure on staff. They were impeccable and professional when, in truth, they must have been like everyone else in the city, under considerable strain. This staff would be why we return. The staff were why we began returning, and why we became Radisson fans. Thank you to all the staff at Radisson Blu Waterfront.

Customer service!

I had a three night's stay at the Radisson Waterfront. The place is superb, clean and cannot be faltered with friendly staff. I has an incident worth noting. As a non alcohol on Thursday being birthday during breakfast , I noted wine was supplied and asked a waiter if there is non alcohol and the response was no. The following day Friday I asked the waiter with the name of Avela if non alcohol has been put out and he responded that no, but he will go and get me non alcohol sparkling wine from the bar. That's the attitude of excellent customer service. Thanks AVELA! Your attitude will determine your altitude. God bless

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! The place is gorgeous and it is in an absolutely perfect location! You can walk to the V & A Waterfront or get the shuttle, and you can walk miles along the beautiful oceanfront promenade. The breakfasts and room service was wonderful, my husband looked forward to massive breakfasts every morning. The most special thing about the hotel is the staff, though. They all bent over backwards to meet our every need, and they were always so kind and patient with us. We really fell in love with the generosity and kindness of everyone who worked at the hotel. They are tremendous and helped make our holiday truly unforgettable!

A perfect weekend getaway!

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway at the Radisson Blu Waterfront. My hotel room had the most beautiful view of the water and a partial view Table Mountain. Peace & tranquility! The staff go above and beyond to assist and are exceptionally friendly. I loved every moment and did not want to leave. I highly recommend this hotel!!

A Great stay in an excellent property!

We had a wonderful stay! Hotel is extremely clean! Service was always excellent from Yusef to the whole staff. Always friendly and ready to help! I can not fault the hotel on anything. Food is great and the breakfast is excellent. We had 4 great relaxing days! Highly recommend this hotel, specially for if you are a smoker! Very smoker friendly which is always a problem in Cape Town.

A fantastic location, with some wonderful reception staff, but spoiled by poorly trained waiter, wobbly tables on the brick paved outside dining area, and a very damp smelling room with carpets that had obviously not dried since they were cleaned a day or two prior. No mini bar price list in our room, and no Whisky in the bar (only bourbon and Irish Whiskey)!

Efficient and friendly staff, great breakfast, clean and comfortable room and a shuttle bus to the waterfront. I highly recommend, and will definitely stay here again if i visit capetown.

Only one desk person after midnight with multiple guest checking in. The cost also seemed to double after being booked. The staff and property are great, great location and view from restaurant, close to major shopping and sites.

The Place to Stay in Cape Town!

My wife and I had an amazing time. Food (especially the breakfast) was incredible. The concierge helped us plan our daily activities. And dry cleaning/laundry service was excellent (used it twice)!

Treated like Criminals

Our stay Was horrible. When we checked in they told us that they will lock our mini bar, because we did not book with them and for that reason they do not have my credit card details. They told me that they will only open the mini bar if I give them my credit card details. Just because out of principle I refused, they went and actually send a person up to our room to come and lock the mini bar in front of my kids. They were confused why the hotel would think we would stole anything. They were not eager to use any of the hotels facilities because they were not sure if we were allowed. They also asked if the hotel would want to search our bags when would check out. We were treated like criminals. The noise at night was also unbearable. There were other guests in two rooms, 308 and 310, who were partying in between rooms and slammed the doors the whole night. I had to eventually walked out and asked them to keep quite. The hotel did nothing and was obviously not even aware, because the cleaner was also vacuuming the carpets at 01:00 am. I also had asked them to stop this as my whole family have not had any sleep at this stage. We were also not helped with our luggage when checking in and had to do everything ourselves in the rain. We have stayed previously in this hotel for 3 nights and in the Radisson Red, but I will NEVER stay here again. It felt like the hotel do not treat the customers the same when using other companies like Hotel.com for the reservations and payments.

Excellent location, great staff, great room. The view from the room/balcony was breathtaking. The restaurant offered a very good menu and a good wine selection. The dishes served were very nicely prepared and overall better than some of the V&A restaurants.

Uniquely situated in full view of the ocean and the nice Marina next to the hotel. Perfection appears to be the key word, staff very attentive, very good breakfast on the terrace/deck, lovely infinity pool with the ocean as back drop and so on and so forth: we had a wonderful 4 day stay.

For what you pay a night it’s not worth it. The service is tremendously slow. The pool is also open to public events. So we were unable to get a chair by the pool for the day. Also took over an hour to bring coffee to our room in the morning. Would not recommend this hotel

It was our second visit to this hotel but in 2017 we only attended the New Years Eve Party and didn't stay there. We were so impressed on that occasion that in December 2018 we had a 3 night stay there and really enjoyed it. Breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the sea were memorable but everything about the hotel was excellent and we will certainly stay there again in Dec19.

Great Location, Beautiful Pool, Room is tired

Beautiful pool and view. Nice breakfast. OK gym. Rooms are a bit tired, and the housekeeping is "so-so" but the view makes up for it.

Excellent Hotel 1km from V&A Waterfront with hotel shuttle bus connection ever hour. Have stayed there twice 2014 & 2018 and would highly recommend hotel for its location,underground parking and general hi quality feel. Breakfast very good Dinner good but with V&A Waterfront close and free shuttle bus to numerous restaurants we generally dined at V&A.
