Great clean and the staff is amazing

Unsatisfactory experience.

1. Check-In: Wrongly charged the mini-bar expenses. Finally, front desk waived. 2. Dining Experience: Unfortunately, the overall service did not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. At breakfast, coffee was not served despite ordering, and during the buffet dinner, I was asked to settle my bill within the first hour due to a crowded restaurant. 3. Room Amenities: The mini-fridge in my room was non-functional, and I chose not to request a replacement. 4. Pest Issues: I encountered mosquitoes in my room. After informing the front desk, anti-mosquito spray was applied. 5. Billing Confusion: My most significant issue occurred during my first meal at the Italian restaurant. After signing the bill with my room number, I received a call asking for credit card payment. Initially, I thought this was standard procedure. I requested the waiter to verify my guest status with the front desk, explaining my stay was registered with my passport. However, five minutes later, the waiter knocked on my door with a payment machine, insisting I settle the bill. This was both embarrassing and confusing, as I had already verified my status. Despite my attempts to clarify, I felt pressured to pay after a long flight and a full day of meetings. When I contacted the front desk for clarity, I was told the issue was due to not providing a deposit, which I was never informed about at check-in. I emailed the hotel manager the following day but did not receive a response.

It was for my business trip.

Need major renovations

The hotel has its good points as well as challenges. The room smelled like mildew and I had to ask for a room service menu. Food from room service was excellent although charging 520 TK for a Schweppes soda water is ridiculous. The Peninsula only charges 350 TK. Breakfast was okay with much of the hot food actually lukewarm. I really liked the carafe of drinkable water which is eco-responsible. The refrigerator in the room isn’t cold. The Thai massage I had was the best I’ve ever had including those I experienced in Thailand. Sharmeen was very thorough. Sorry guys, she only does massages for women.

Business or Travel it’s a quite good place to stay

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the last two years and have seen a significant decline in their services and quality. The rooms are starting to fall apart and the staff are not the best trained. Their dining options are limited and the hotel uses very bad methods to get rid of mosquitoes in their grounds. If you like to inhale burning kerosine, this may be your place. They are still a top hotel of Chittagong and unfortunately there isn’t another luxury hotel to go to.

Great hotel comfortable & good service

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times in the past found the experience to be quiet good. It was on the most recent trip I took where things seemed to have taken a downturn in quality.

Below average as a 5 star hotel. More like a 3 star or may be 4 the highest.

Hotel with everything a family and business need

Amazing ambient inside and surrounding stadium, museum, Chittagong Club, CRB, IEB and restaurant & street food the best in Bangladesh. Pool is special and probably the best I have seen for family. Restaurant is fabulous. Gym, Spa, coffee shop are superb. Only we look forward to see the tennis court. A family and business hotel with architectural masterpiece

I stayed during a country wide lockdown. A lot of services were limited during that time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would stay again if I had to.

The lightning outside the rooms on each floor after midnight. Beautiful!

mini bar overprice and will charge above price

hotel is nice too bad they rip you off for the mini bar i had one beer and one 7up came out to 1400tak which is equivalent to $17 in a country where you can buy 3 good dinners for that price. They didnt even give me an itemized bill to make sure the charges were correct. Dont take anything from the minibar unless you want to get ripped off. It was so much higher then the price posted on the minibar. I asked about it and the guy said that the charge.

They gave such hard time while checking in. Was asking for a business card as a secondary ID. Not a bank card, credit card or driver’s license... A business card!

The Hotel and it's staff are a welcome sight after working all day and spending hours in traffic. Once inside the hotel, the outside world is miles away.

Great for a relaxing time in Chittagong

Central location, pricey but worth it. Staff is eager to please. Only snag was that during checkout they wanted to charge us for minibar items that we did not consume - but it was amicably resolved

Had a great stay except the manager at the reception was really rude. He asked for an obscene amount on a simple requrst for a complemetary drop to a loation which was just 2 kms away. He said we don't do this for non-regualr customers. Seriosly?

Best Hotel In Chittagong

Rooms are modern, comfortable, and top notch. Plenty of amenities to entertain guests. Excellent weight room with free weights and modern equipment, full service spa, and beautiful pool. If you're staying in Chittagong, you can't go wrong with Radisson Blu.

VERY GOOD HOTEL

This is a very Good hotel. They have good restaurants. The décor of hotel is very relaxing. Staff are very friendly. HOWEVER THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS MAKING LOT OF NOISE AND THIS WAS COMPLAINT WAS OF ALL THE RESIDENTS. ALSO UNDERNEATH WASH BASIN IN BATHROOM THERE WAS LOT OF DIRT AND COBWEBS. OBVIOUSLY NOT VISIBLE BUT VERY DIRTY.

Great Hotel. The only place to stay.

The hotel is great. The facilities are five star. The pool/gym/spa were spectacular. The staff worked tirelessly to make my experience at the pool and spar memorable. The lounge chairs were super comfortable and more than once I fell asleep by the pool. The towels were soft and absorbent and plentiful. The room was large and well appointed. The bathroom was also large with a great shower and tub. Shampoo, body cream, conditioner and soaps were plentiful. Housekeeping kept the room neat and clean. Overall, a great experience.

Very good to stay but expensive then all 5 stars

It was fine but as a new hotel still there r many lackings ! Food is too costly then international standard ... No travel desk or easy transportation arrangements! Breakfast is not included with room rent. May be room occupancy is less that's the reason of high cost!!!

Just a brief note to thank all the staff members for the wonderful and worming treatment during our staying at the hotel. We spent a wonderful time rooms, bathrooms and all the other faselity of the hotel are very clean. Breakfast and dinner were traditional and very tasty. We all had a great time. staying at this hotel made a lovely change for our trip to Chittagong so we may do stay at the same hotel for the next time.

Not ready yet

My wife and I spent one night, not a very happy one. The infrastructure is not ready yet. The room had damp smell and the air conditioner in the room wasnt working and we could not sleep most of the night. The water flow in the shower was pathetic and hot and cold water flow was fluctuating during the shower, not so pleasant experience. Staff were also not prepared up to a good four star hotel standard. Great location, good building, facilities and architecture but let down by these important things.
