Weekend away

Weekend getaway for maitland steamfest .good sized room and bathroom. Kitchenette too,with cutlery and plates, nice and quiet, walking distance to everything.

The place was perfect for us. It was very clean and the room is separate and private.

Communication could have been better. I was sent an incorrect link to electronically check-in, so had to inform the team of the wrong link. I was also sent an after hours access code, but no information on where or how to access my room key.

Was very happy with our stay at The Quest Maitland. We had parking on site and check in was easy and staff were great. Very happy with Appartment it had everything we wanted and more.

Very convenient to shops and car parks and cinemas. Happy with booking service and check in. Clean and modern, can’t go past this for the best stay in the area.

Neat and tidy , great room for when travelling for business

A short walk to High St, the Quest was clean and comfortable, reception staff helpful. The rooms were a bit noisy (ours was road facing but there was also noise from connecting rooms). Parking is complimentary albeit some spaces a little tight to get into if you have a 4wd.

Very nice place to stay with friendly staff and a fantastic cafe attached.

Very comfortable for a reasonable cost. Close to amenities. Easy onsite parking. Well maintained and clean rooms with all facilities.

I loved how quiet it was & you can walk just about everywhere

The apartment was spacious and had everything you could need in the kitchen. The location was perfect for us, as we were attending MEC just across the road on Sunday.

Nice and Ariel perfect for tired travellers.

Basic amenities were there just felt dirty Staff were lovely though

I was disappointed with having to pay an extra $20 because we checked in at 12pm instead of 2pm. That was a straight-out price gouge. The sofa bed was unbearable to sleep on, so uncomfortable. In hindsight we should have put the mattress on the floor instead.

Great location & very clean. But couldn't open any windows so room was stuffy & smelt a bit funky.

A great stop over hotel, my do not disturb sign must of fallen on the floor outside qhen i walked out so my room wasnt cleaned, hotel should of called to ask if id like it ckean, had to fet new towels myself from reception

Very comfortable and clean. Excellent shower pressure, comfy bed, plenty of parking, quiet location while also being 5 minutes to everything. Everything we needed for a quick stopover in the area and would also be very suitable for a longer stay.

This property was ideal for my stay in Maitland as it is in walking distance from the venue I was attending for conference. The staff were friendly and helpful and the coffee shop attached to the building was fabulous!

Has all the bits. Except single beds - it cost $45 extra per night to make up the night and day.

Clean and cosy

Very helpful management, very clean and inviting.

Loved the large size of the room and the cleanliness. The outside noise was minimal. The only fault was the furniture. The couch was old and saggy. The chairs had very little padding and the bed was a bit low to the floor and a bit too soft. Overall a pleasant stay.

Overall a very clean and comfortable property. Staff were friendly easy check in. Parking was a bit short for the size and look like its not enough for the rooms. Air Con was extremely loud with a rattle. Multi device plug at desk didn't work.

Close to centrql Maitland within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. Comfortable, clean and spacious apartment. Would definitely recommend.

It was nice and clean. Quite spacious. Bathrooms were big also. Kitchen worked well. However, there is no Foxtel so take something to entertain the kids in the evening

Good Central location in the heart of town. Walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Very clean and spacious. Only grumble was that the lounge was a bit uncomfortable, it had a fold out bed built into it, and the combination shower bath - a general dislike.

Great that we could get connecting rooms. Also appreciated that our request of a balcony could be facilitated. I so very much appreciated that they rang me afterwards to advise they found my partner’s watch and offered to post it back to me at a nominal fee. Amazing service.

Great value for money! The rooms were very spacious and had great amenities including a washing machine and dryer! Reception staff were also very lovely to deal with and had no issues organising transport for us to get to our friend’s wedding.

Really handy location with spacious rooms. Staff very helpful. For the price I’d like to see some finer touches with more attention to cleanliness and to detail, ie, some hand and body wash, tissues and complimentary water. It feels tired and in need of refreshing

Great apartment accommodation

We booked a loft 1 bedroom apartment because we wanted to avoid upstairs neighbours as we live in an apartment and wanted a break. The apartment was overlooking a side street and was beautifully quiet. The kitchen was fantastic and we cooked several meals with no issue. TVs in lounge and bedroom although bedroom tv was a little old with no HDMI. Fantastic location as it’s close-ish to Newcastle and the Hunter Valley (but without the extra price tag) Only complaint was the housekeepers came in to the room twice on the day we were checking out (before check out time) as they assumed for some reason we were gone so we felt like we were being hurried out (I assume it’s mostly business people who leave early). Would definitely stay again.

Great over night stay with an easy check in and out. Staff were very helpful. Good location and would recommend staying at this apartment again.

The staff were friendly and professional, the apartment was clean and well designed and it was well positioned with half a dozed eateries within a 2 minute walk. I recommend the BikeSmith cafe around the corner for coffee/brekky.

Spacious Appartment

Spacious ground floor appartment with free parking.Stay in this appartment for 5 days,good location, close to the shop.During our stay we did little bit of cooking using oven and microwave,aluminium foil and cling wrap would be great if available in the kitchen.

Very helpful and pleasant check in people. On arrival I was very irritable and tired but the helpfulness of the check in people by fetching a luggage trolly dissipated that.

Huge space and everything you need

Great location and great use of space in the room. The pull out sofa bed had seen better days and could use an upgrade. Excellent service and if i was in the area I would stay here again.

Close to town and facilities. Very clean and quiet overnight. Just what we needed for an overnight stay.

Great staff, Really helpful. Only down side which. I. Wasn't impressed and had no idea about is being hit with a $100 holding fee when booking in, was told it was for the mini bar which was a bit funny considering it had 1 chocolate bar, small packet of chips, bottle of coke and water. This charge should be up front and written where it can be easily seen

Good but deceived & disappointed (Expedia)

Had booked Loft, 1 Bedroom, Non-Smoking, Kitchen via Expedia but later came to discover we were deceived but the photos of the room were not what we had stayed small amenities were missing. No free internet, no bathtub etc were even told there was ladder despite we had 15 months old baby. We based accommodation on the picture. The bedroom was even smaller then what picture shows in Expedia. Sadly Expedia took the view if you cannot prove with photos we cannot compensate refund to the card which was paid. Thus this was my first time booking with Expedia with a bad experience & paid $411 for 2 nights for 1 bedroom serviced apartment.

Friendly Staff

The apartments were great. We received an upgrade when we arrived and had a lovely stay. The only complaint (which was very minor) is that the shower head did not stay in position. Otherwise we really enjoyed our short stay. I wish we could have stayed longer but we had to go back to work.
