Comfortable is the theme here.

The room was great, clean very comfortable beds, loved the extra pillows on the bed. It was quiet...very roomy. The hotel has great breakfast . Was able to get a late check out ans rest. The only issue was the maid was knocking at checkout and had to tell her please check with front desk we have paid for late checkout. I would stay there again. Great price for such a nice comfortable stay.

I spent the night of January 2 with my family there. Very bad experience. The room was dirty, the sofa bed was not ready, and I had to go to the reception to request sheets for the bed and more towels because there were fewer towels than the number of people in the reservation. And to make our experience worse at 5:00 am the fire alarm got activated without any explanation. After more than 5 times someone from maintenance arrived and just disconnected it when I complained to the front desk they only told me that the alarm had no battery and that's why it had been activated. Very bad service. The breakfast buffet consisted of unflavored waffles and cold coffee... I don't recommend that place.

Dirty smell

Walking into our hotel room, the carpet had wet odor to it. The bed sheets did not look new, still smelled like previous guests’ body odors. The restroom tiles were falling apart and the bathtub drain was clogged. I went to front desk to request a different room. The second room also had similar smells too it (wet carpet, broken restroom tiles, and bed sheets smelled). When I asked for extra blankets, even the extra blankets smelled old. It was already very late in the evening and too late to cancel my reservation, good thing was that it was only for one night stay.

We came attending an engagement party for our niece. Overall it was a great hotel. The beds were clean, room smelled good, there was plenty of space for my family of 5 too stay.

NOISY. NOT FELT SECURE.

When we arrived there was a couple fighting in the second floor. Police were called. Wife wanted to leave but we had already paid for the room, also we had a concert to attend and were short on time.

The unit smelled like someone peed in it. When the aircon is open the smell travels across the room.

Home away from home.

The staff was very rude. I went down stairs and asked for toilet paper and was questioned as to why I needed more because one roll should have been enough for 6 people staying three days. Also, the cleaning lady was the same one setting out breakfast but not once did she change her gloves in the transition from cleaning the restroom and setting out food. The hot breakfast was just waffles , yogurt and cereal not the best.

Great place

My girl friend and I really enjoyed our stay. It was a very clean and very quiet and the staff were very polite. We would stay there again when are in San Antonio.

Pleasant Over Night Stay

It was a pleasant stay. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk clerk was friendly and informative. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The staff was very attentive and helpful, the breakfast staff helped my kids make waffles and one nighttime attendant stopped me to see if I could use extra linens, which I was not even thinking about but definitely needed. The next night we encountered a not so friendly attendant who said we were going to be charged for towels, havent really heard of this being an additional fee before. The rooms are why we won't be back to this location, the smell was not great, there was trash in the pull-out couch, mirrors were not clean and looked dusty, toilet paper was not stocked or new, and there was a wet hand towel on top of the shower. Each morning there was a horrific smell that came from the toilet, like a sewer issue.

breakfast hours are very limited i suggest to extend it to 10 or 11 am and i stayed 6 days and they only did housekeeping the first day but the rest was very okay!!

Room was clean and comfortable. Located right next to a cvs within walking distance for any necessities. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful! Felt very safe-the main door is the only door you can use without a key card. The hotel smelled clean and fresh-not like strong chemicals covering up odors. Decor was not too gaudy and made it feel elegant and home like. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Very good budget friendly stay

Check in was very simple & fast. Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable.

Poor maintenance, dim light in bath room and clogged bathtub drain. Cleaning personnel did poor job cleaning room. Had to ask almost daily for coffee cups. Overall satisfactory.

Property was decent for the price. Unfortunately due to it being on SE Military Dr you could hear the traffic going by. The fact that the security deposit was $100 was also ridiculous. I've stayed at locations like the Marriot and I've paid $25. Overall I don't recommend unless it fits your Budget. For me I wanted try something different and I regret doing so. I will Say the staff was very friendly. I had an issue with my toilet in my room and it was addressed rather quickly. I felt that the Room keeping could have been better as well. I walked into my room and their was glitter on the Sofa, hair where the napkin dispenser is.

The stay was okay, the room was nice and clean and spacious. The night staffed accused my children of running around making noise when they weren't doing any of that. The price was definitely over priced, the breakfast was medicore. We deseparate and considering the previous place we booked was unsafe and terrible.

Staff was very helpful but the room and restroom smelled, stains everywhere.

It was horrible, there were prostitutes and people smoking dogs outside my daughter and granddaughters room where I took my granddaughter to where I was staying and told my daughter to check out the next morning EARLY

Overall we probably wiuld stay again in the future. Just not many breakfast options.

Room is clean we were given extra towels and sheets for the pullout couch. The staff is great too! I would stay here again when visiting San Antonio.

It was okay for the price, service was friendly, smelled good. Beds a little hard. Quiet. Towels feel like sand paper, toilet seat is breaking, bathroom tile broken, needs replacing.

Everything was clean and in working condition. No notable concerns to mention.

Decent stay

Room comfortable, breakfast small but adequate.

I had a two bed reservation with a lounge/office area. The lounge/office area allowed me to store my belongings without cluttering the bed/sleeping area. The lounge area also provided me with a sofa, table and chair. I was able to use my laptop effectively. Nearby, there are several fast food and sit-down restaurants. There are also two movie theaters and a couple of big box stores (Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Home Depot, Sam's Club). The property is literally one block from Interstate 37 and approximately a mile from Loop 410. I didn't like housekeeping knocking on doors in the morning; but this happens at every hotel/motel I've stayed at. This is not Embassy Suites or the Marriott, but you get a lotta bang for your buck!

I had never stayed at this hotel i too was kind of skeptical and read the reveiws before booking and i was surprised with the service and cleanliness of the suites and their breakfast was good alot of variety very well maintained thanks to Joey made our stay comfortable for me and my family... will book here thru expedia if needed again ....

The room was in good conditions but the bathtub was in horrible it was clogged up whit hair and when we were taking a shower the water wouldn’t go down due to being clogged. When being done taking a shower the water will take at an hour to go down the drain, overall the hotel was nice.

It was good place to stay, well kept and clean

San Antonio can be a tricky area, I guess most place can be in this day and age. I travel for work and always feel safe in this hotel. Easy interstate access. The staff is great.

Like staff, friendly and attentive. They responded quickly to our requests. Our room was spacious. Did not like, not enough area for the amount of chairs and not enough chairs for the amount of guests in the very small dinning room.

Pros: Customer service was great! Breakfast was decent. The room size was surprisingly spacious. Cons: The area was a sketchy, the toilet in our room needed a lot more scrubbing inside of it. The beds were really uncomfortable. We saw a couple cockroaches in the halls. Don’t think I’ll stay here again. The pictures on here are not comparable to the real thing.

The elevator door got stuck on my way down to the lobby. I finally got it to open by hitting it with my whole body. After 5 minutes. Once I told the front desk lady, she didn’t believe me and stayed “the city just came to fix that last week” I told her to let other customers know that it might not open for them because that was a scary experience. She wasn’t very nice. Also the Expedia said there was a hot tub and there wasn’t one.

Everything was great checkin was easy. They charge a deposit but I got it right back after check out

Don't judge a book by its cover!

The hotel, while older, was very clean and the staff were super polite!! The complimentary breakfast was a hit with my family too!

Pricey stay for poor quality results

I was very disappointed with the stay. My bed sheets were dirty. The toilet and shower head look like they hadn't been cleaned. The amount of money that was charged for the night stay for the quality is deceiving.

Bed was very vomfortable. Unfortunate breakfast was less than desirable. The biscuits were hard as a rock and the eggs were very dry. No effort was made to make breakfast appealing but I could get over the fact about the biscuits. No body cared.

It was a reasonable price to pay for the room, but the parking lot leaves much to be desired and makes it seem less hospitable.

Proven wrong

Saved us over 100$ staying somewhere else. I was rushing finding somewhere to stay that was large enough for our family. Last minute trip we made. I was so scared to book because we have had bad experiences from the past. But I was so glad this was not the case. Everything was great for our one night stay and the women in the front was pleasant and the breakfast time ending at 10 made it great for us. Would def recommend to anyone.

I made a reservation for a property which showed indoor pool. It was very important for my grandson and when we checked in the manager said they don’t have an indoor pool. The reservation was not cancelable so we had to stay. Very disappointing

People are friendly there! Very helpful, but it did smell kinda weird.

the place smelled

Hallways had a STRONG air freshener scent, probably because the room was so musty smelling. The carpet felt damp the whole time we were staying there...it only felt dry next to the window where the sun came in. Even though the website claims "Pet friendly" there is a sign that says NO PETS at the entrance. They let our ESA stay anyway, but had me come in the next day to fill out the Service Animal paperwork the check in person forgot to have me fill out. There was an additional $90 charge for a "pet deposit" which I should get back after they inspected the room to make sure our dog did not pee on the carpets.... Also the room inspector agreed that the room smelled musty and agreed that there was mold in the bathroom We were not offered any type of discount, but we are supposed to get the $90 back in "5-7 days, depending on your bank"

This location is about 8 minutes from downtown. There are a lot of stores and restaurants nearby . At night you can hear a lot of racing and people talking outside. The bathroom had a urine smell even though it looked clean. Other than that it's not very bad for the price compared to other nearby hotels/motels.

The location is good. Close enough to downtown area. Quiet area and a CVS right beside. I did not like the breakfast service, too small, cold eggs, not enough space nor food. Pool area with cigarette butts on the floor, doves poop all around. Stained tub. Elevator out of service. Not a single covered parking spot, bird's poop all over. Glad it was one night only.

Nice and quiet

Very unpleasant, quality not in .... room had sewer smell, elevator out of order, pool out of order, called for extra sheets and we had to go pick them up, breakfast was not heated up right too cold. Lobby was old/outdated and sofas were nasty dirty.

This was a sufficient and adequate stop over on our cross country travel. Nothing super special, but the room was clean, and the beds comfortable.

Room was clean, however, some towels were clean but stained. Shower head needs to be replaced or upgraded.

Breakfast was little but still is okay. Jacuzzi was not functional at time of reservation. Cleanliness is okay. Good price compared to others.

I found a used condom in my room and the staff didn't do anything about it till 2 days later!!! When I brought It up to the staff's attention, i was given attitude from the management. All they ended up doing was taking 25 dollars off the bill. I will never stay here!!!

It was a good experience, the staff we interacted with were nice, the only weird thing for me was that it kind smelled like old towels in the room, and hot tub did not work, but it was one of the better hotels me and my family has stayed in. They also have a paper that tells you prices to buy some of the items in the hotel (dryer, iron, pillows, coffee machine, etc…).
