Had a few issues but was able to speak with the manager this morning as leaving. Amy was very understanding and empathetic to my concerns which led me to leave a good review.

The staff have always been nice and helpful every time I have stayed there.

This was my second stay at this location. Love the ease of parking and feel staff is very friendly and helpful. I also love that it is not a very large hotel but still has amenities like the pool, gym area and breakfast included.

Great place

Everything was okay except for the service. Our room wasn't cleaned after our first day, and the person at the desk said that they don't always clean when the motel gets busy! That's unacceptable, considering what they charge per night. And besides, we heard the housekeeping staff cleaning on our hall for most of that morning!

It was very nice clean and great service.

The bathroom fan rattled the entire time it was turned on. That was a bit annoying when you were using it. Other than that the room was very nice and clean.

Super quiet and clean. The pool was warm and refreshing. The hot breakfast was a big hit with our family who loves huge waffles. We would definitely stay here again if we get a chance to come through the Greenville area again.

The lady who checked me in is one of the best receptionist not only for his professionalism and kindness, but also for her solidarity.

It wasn't very clean outside. Not very appealing entrance. Entrance doors are old and not updated. No elevator.

Our room was very nice and the jacuzzi tub was great. The bathroom however needs updating as there was very little water pressure and very hard to rinse hair. Also paint peeling, etc. but the sleeping area was very nice and comfortable mattress.

Decent hotel, would probably stay again.

Decent hotel for a day or two stay. No gym so that was disappointing but I knew that going in. The hotel is not up to date if that is something that interests you. Easy access from the road.

I was very happy with how quiet the room was. Very soundproof. Everything was clean, smelled clean and linens were nice. The shower worked, but the shower head moved in and out of the wall. It needs some maintenance. Everyone was very nice!

Front desk lady was very accommodating, I explained my wife did not walk well so she gave us a room on the ground floor close to the entry. Saved a lot of steps.

It had a whirlpool tube but it wasn't hook up unfortunately

The room was very clean and spacious. The pool was out of order but that didn't matter to us. Just included that for others reading reviews. The only real drawback was the extremely low toilet height. Staff was very friendly.

It was a nice stay. We were there to attend a funeral. It was in close proximity to where we needed to be. The breakfast hit the spot. The waters and snacks upon arrival were a nice touch. Everyone was very nice.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the area quiet. Las Marias restaurant was within walking distance next door for a nice evening out.

This place did not have an elevator and walking 2 flights of stairs is a little rough when you are elderly. The beds were comfortable and place was clean. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay again but request room on the first floor.

Our room was beside the stairway from the outside and it was somewhat noisy. Next time, we’ll ask for another room. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

They used fragrant laundry products that caused me to have severe allergy attack (from sheets) and red/itchy/painful legs (from towel).

No fresh air

One exception to a very satisfactory stay was the odor that hit us in the face when we entered the room. It smelled like perfumed dirty gym socks or a musty air filter in the air-conditioner. It took a while to get used to it. The room appeared clean otherwise and the sheets and towels were fresh and clean.

Accommodating when we called asking for early check-in. We had a problem with our key card early on Sunday morning and the front desk was open and helpful.The room was lovely for the price. There were a lot of choices for the breakfast.

Pool was empty with mold. Kids were disappointed.

No masks worn!

The room was good. I was upset by the lack of mask use by the staff. When I said something to the desk clerk in the morning of Aug 8, she said they weren't required if 6 ft was maintained. That was not the case with staff I passed in the hall and who came to the door, nor the desk clerk even though there was a plexiglass barrier.

Loved the jetted tub and the fact I got a decent deal on it! Needed a break from things and this was a good break! Missed the hot breakfast due to the virus they weren’t allowed to serve other than that was extremely enjoyable!!

The door to my ground floor room was ajar when i arrived. The window was broken and could be opened from the outside easily. I notified the desk who said they would "look in to it" the day after i checked out. I was also told there is no security. The handicap hand shower had zero water pressure and could not be used except to drip water. Sad!

This property is clean and comfortable. The employees are friendly, welcoming and accommodating as well.

Overall okay stay.

It was all fine. The bathroom handle in room 111 was either broken or maybe they are made to be opened from the outside when locked. The only issue I had was that the ceiling was leaking water from the floor above when they had their spa tub half filled. This was brought to the service desks attention and I was switched to another room which was bigger and had the same stuff as the last room.

the price I was quoted was $120.00 a night. $240.00 for 2 nights. After and only after I gave my credit card number and clicked submit. The Price was $270.00. Its not the extra $30.00 but the fact that I was scamed. I'll never use Hotels.com again.

Really enjoyed our stay and the pool was really warm,which we really enjoyed since it was cold outside.

Didn’t get to stay there. My husbands older brother became very ill and was placed in Hospice Care to comfort him while he passes away. We had to cancel all our plans at the last minute! Eldora Speedway is refunding out ticket purchases, but the motel made us pay for one night because of not canceling 24 hours before. Death has a way of not giving any notice sometimes, too bad for us, but I am sure they had no problem filling that room!!! Will never book there again.

The hotel is clean, but the beds are quite firm & more than once my experience involved drunk individuals make a lot of noise in the halls & knocking on doors very late at night/morning. Overall just a meh experience. For $150/night I expect more.

Parking was terrible. Needs more space. Had large work trucks taking up 4- 5 parking spots. Had. Motorcycle gang thats parked anywhere they wanted, parking spot or not. Building neefs updated on outside. I had a room by side entrance door. The motorcycle gang set up a tent like cover to stand under and left door open so they could be in air conditioning very loud and drunk. I ledt at 11:30pm because sleep was impossible. Very nad management to put people in rooms by the gang. . Had no eooms ledt to move me. Will never fo baxk.

Was here for a softball tournament. Nice and clise to the field. Lits of restaurants in the area and Walmart! Was a plus. Inly bad thing was the pool closes by 10. The team wanted more time to unwind after the later gamed.

I was very disappointed in this experience. I booked this room at this hotel at this location based on the advertisement of a pool and a hot tub/spa. Upon arriving at the location five hours prior to our other engagement in order to enjoy the pool and the hot tub with friends we find out The pool is out of service and there is no spa/hot tub it has been filled in with concrete and now has patio furniture over the top of it. The toilet in our room leaked so bad that the sub flooring underneath the linoleum squished out water between the tub and the flooring. In the morning the carpet leading out into the room was wet because of this. Upon arrival I reported the leak to the front desk she offered to change our room which I told her there was no need since we were only spending one night. I do trust this was fixed after we left. Disappointing stay.

Fine for a short stay

The hotel is a little worn, but it's relatively clean. Biggest complaint is that the walls are paper thin. You can hear just about everything going on around you.

Great hotel. Carpet needs to be replaced. But great place to rest and breakfast was good.

Convenient location. Breakfast was definitely lacking. Eggs watery, bacon papery, sausage just yucky. Biscuits and breakfast pastries very cheap tasting.

It was ok for a couple nights

We have family that lives in town and we were there due to a recent health scare. We needed a late checkout and one front desk clerk approved it and was in the notes yet on the day of the late checkout the desk person was extremely rude, never got out of her chair to discuss it with me and said they would have to charge me another day for a late checkout. We ended up rushing back to checkout about an hour late I order to avoid another days charges. And since it’s a small town it wasn’t like they were full or would have avoided renting that room due to a later checkout. Terrible customer service!!!

Needs repair & attention to detail

1st room reeked of cigarette smoke. Had to be moved. The 2nd room had broken shower rod, broken jacuzzi tub and dry wall partials in the closet where something was removed; poor housekeeping. Was told by hostess that was recently under new ownership and changes were to be made. I hope so.

Not as Expected

I was given a room on the second floor. I was not aware there were no elevators. When I asked a worker where the elevator was, she was kind enough to offer to carry my suitcase up the stairs. There was no fitness room as advertised, but I was offered a free pass to the YMCA about 5 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel was advertised as newly remodeled. The bathroom tile was cracked in two places on the floor, the caulking around the tub was dingy, the carpeting looked dingy. The room was clean so that was something positive.

A rear door was not working properly, which could have resulted in a big problem in the case of afire or other emergency whereby the door needed to be opened from the inside. I called it to the attention of the front desk girl, & she was supposed to have it repaired the foelowing day. II hope it was-for safety's sake.

Better than expected but no Jaccuzi anymore.

We had a jaccuzi in the room! Boy were we excited! Unfortunately, it did not work.....none of them worked. Other than that, all was very well. Will be back soon.

Nice small hotel

Everything was good. Only issue was the room was hot and the air conditioner took a very long time to cool. When we left, it was still kinda warm. There also is no elevator.

Nice, Quiet Stay

I had a very nice stay. I was in town for a family matter and booked because of the free breakfast and great price. The entire stay was satisfactory, but the eggs were rubbery, and the sausages cold. However all other parts of the complimentary breakfast were fine. My room was exceptionally clean.

Overpriced since there was no microwave or refrigerator in your room. No hot tub either. Staff was rarely at the desk.

Clean, pleasant and perfect for our needs

We were in town one night for a sporting event and needed a clean simple place to stay. This hotel was exactly what we needed. It was very clean, the staff was available at the front desk and attentive to the breakfast bar the next morning. The front desk staff helped us find a local non-chain restaurant for a great dinner too. The pool area was clean and maintained well (not overpowering chlorine smell like many other places). Our only wish is that they would insulate the rooms closest to the stairway to the lobby a bit better as the passing traffic was a bit loud.

Very clean, extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Bathroom sink could prob use replacing -very scratched. Would suggest moving the shower curtain rod out slightly to allow more room for showering without curtain continually the body.

A decent place to stay

This is a clean, comfortable, decent place to stay. I have only one complaint. I was cold and wanted to take a warm bath. The flow of warm water from the spigot was extremely slow. Hopefully they'll improve that.

Good, clean room with nice breakfast. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if the room would have included a small refrigerator and possibly a microwave.

Half Happy/Half Disappointed

My family and I took a trip to Greenville because a church in town asked me to come and preach for them one Sunday. The leadership at the church recommended that we stay at the Comfort Inn while we were there. Our room was nice, comfortable, and just the right size for the three of us. However, the bathroom was not as nice as the rest of the room. It had seen some water damage in the past and someone attempted to make some repairs but it's obvious that they weren't professionals. Some black mold was beginning to form on the ceiling in the shower and the general condition around the tub was a little grungy.

The staff have is a plunger when toilet got clogged and didn't help. Also put a family with small kids on top floor, very annoyed for not putting on first floor
