Bad mood and conditions

Some of the stuff was not friendly. Didnt give solution or willing to help with the noise on the apartment above Didnt fix the water in the tap Didnt give alternative to the room door that couldnt be locked. Really horrible, was not like that the last time I stayed there

Good place to stay for a few days. The room is small, however it is pretty and modern. Breads were old, but the variety was good.

Great location and large room

Great location but this hotel is getting really old

Excellent service and very friendly staff from valet to front desk to housekeeping. The location is great to explore the Moinhos de Vento neighborhood, which is filled with interesting cafes and restaurants. If you’re into fitness, the park across the street is great for running, and the hotel is next door to a CrossFit box (called Open,) where you can work out while enjoying a view to the park.

Best location and value!

The hotel is located across the street from a very beautiful and safe park in Porto Alegre, also very close to restaurants, shops and even a shopping mall. We loved walking around the area and felt the location to be the best! The front desk staff were very friendly and allowed us check in prior to 2pm. We got upgraded to a room on the newer side which didn’t face the park but it was very spacious, clean and updated. It was nice and quiet and the shades allowed us to sleep very well. The shower was quite small but it was nice and warm and great water pressure. I also had some work to do and the WiFi worked wonderful for connecting to USA. We had a kitchen and table inside the room which made for a nice office space. We loved our stay and will return next time we visit porto alegre. Great value for the price you pay!!

Very Nice hotel

A nice hotel at a great location. Maintainance could be better. Service was very nice with good intension but shame that even reception people almost can't speak English.

This was the only hotel available in the city. Extremely high price for a room with 2 single beds. Still, the room was nice and comfy. Hotel service is a little short - no laundry service because was holiday. will go back during low seasson to enjoy my stay.

Ótima estadia

O hotel era limpo e moderno, café da manhã excelente e funcionários simpáticos.

There was a leakage of diesel with fumes on the elevator shafts and aisles of the hotel for the entire stay. The management of the hotel ignored the problem. I left the hotel earlier because I was afraid of a fire. They did not reimburse me for the prepaid nights I did not stay there. Very disappointing.

Location, Location, Location

Room was big, clean and comfy. Little bit on the high side in terms of price. Location is very good to access local cuisine, bars, and run at the park.

jewel in the center

From the outside and in the halls looks a little bit beat up. But when you get to the room is good. You get very good room for the price. There is a park in front of the hotel and many bars and restaurants on the area. Very safe neighborhood. It is also close to the mall and other fancy boutiques and entertainments. Breakfast is superior than similar hotels in the area.

Nice hotel facing a park

Nice hotel next to a small park and close to a shopping mall and a lot of good restaurants. Good and varied (free) breakfast. Clean room. Pleasant staff. The WiFi connection was a little weak.

Nice overall

The room was spacious and comfortable. I really like the desk area. It had lots of space to work. They got my reservation wrong and the lady that checked me in was not very nice about it. I ordered room service and the food was pretty bad. I ordered chicken with risotto. The chicken was so overcooked you could hardly chew it and the risotto had at least 20 whole sundried tomatoes that totally overpowered the dish. Then I ordered the cheese risotto and it was better, but not great. Best to eat somewhere else if you can. I had to say in because they were having a day of nation wide protests and the main site was by the hotel.

Porto Alagre

Nice hotel in good área. Not expensive as the other hotel close by. Have stayed there several times and like the staff and the área, one of the best in Porto Alegre.

Godo hotel, excelente neighborhood. However the hotel furniture and decoration is quite old and need some reparations. In general good stay

Lovely hotel overlooking a gorgeous park

Staff were very helpful, welcoming and proficient in English. Breakfast was fabulous and there are a number of bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. There is a fantastic shopping center just down the road as well. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked well. I think it's a hotel used by executive travelers and they tend to get up early. After advice we organised a driver to show us around the city and drive us to the town of Gramado, a two hour drive. This was organised through the hotel and was a delightful service. Our driver had interesting information to impart, was a safe driver and obviously experienced with showing people all the best sights. I would recommend this hotel.

well-located property on the famous "parcao"

The hotel is a well-located property on the famous parcao. Rooms were clean, however the fixtures were dated. Service, like most Brazilian hotels, left much to be desired for. Good for a quick two night stay but not ideal for a traveler in need of service or pampering.

They asked me to pay more than I should

Nice hotel but I had a problem: I made a reservation and payment in Expedia but they required me an extra payment when I checked out. I complained but the employee told me that I had to pay and then complain to get my money back if it was an unfair charge. I accepted because I needed to go to the airport very fast; however, as soon as I came back to my country, I sent a complaint in order to get my money back. Furthermore, I sent them all the documents that they required me by mail (not e-mail!). More than 6 months have passed and I haven't received the reimbursement. I didn't want to make this negative commentary but now I'm forced to do it. They should give a better service when they make mistakes, I feel totally dissapointed with their behavior.

Perfect for the price

Would stay there again!

The name of the hotel made me think it would be the opposite, but we stayed at a radisson the night before and saw that they were under the same ownership. Not AS nice as the radisson, but not far off. Lucas at the front desk was amazing. He spoke enough English to be very helpful, scheduling taxis and printing maps for us, never bothered. Te neighbourhood was really cute, there's a really nice park across the street and there are a lot of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Also in walking distance was a boarding stop for the tourist bus.

Porto Alegre hotel

I have stayed in Porto Alegre many but had stayed at this hotel for the first time 3 months ago and was impressed with the value it offers. The location is great in the Moinjos de Vento area, they are remodeling the restaurant, so that was the only drawback but it is supposed to be finished in Dec/2014

Comfortable hotel in a great location

Stayed 3 nights over a weekend and was able to enjoy the area of Moinhos de Vento and the "Parcao" em POA.

Great location

I have stayed in Porto Alegre over 30 different times in the past 8 years. I usually stay at the Sheraton or the Mercure hotels in the Moinojos de Vento area. I like this part of the city which is a very safe, upscale neighborhood with many boutique shops and dozens of restaurants along it's tree shade streets. The Sheraton while nice and convienently connected to the small 3 story mall, has over the past couple of years kept raising its rates. This trip I stayed at the Quality Hotel, diagonally across the Park from the Sheraton. It beat my expectations. The staff was over the top courteous and helpful. The location on the quiet tree lined street across from the park was not only quiet but there were 7 different restaurant/cafes to pick from as you walked up the street. The room was very comfortable with great king size bed! I will definitely be staying here on future trips!

Clean, comfortable hotel, good value for money

I would be happy to stay again. The journey from the airport was quick. The hotel and room facilities facilities were fine. The hotel was not right in the centre but taxi fares to attractions were reasonable. The bext side trip was the catamaran journey across the lagoon (20 minutes each way; less than $10 return).

Great hotel staff and location

Great location, staff and service!

I arrived earlier than the normal check in time and the hotel staff were very accommodating because my room was not ready yet. They put me into a diff room than what I had booked for the 1st night so I could shower and get changed for a business meeting I had to prepare for. My friend who I was traveling with fell ill on our last night and was sick in the room unfortunately. The staff were amazing, they came up to the room to clean up and then returned with water and tea for her to help her get well. The hotel is in a great location, very close to good bars restaurants and shopping. There is a nice park across the road too. The room are clean and of a good standard, it is not a "high end" hotel but I had a great all round experience with this hotel.

Hotel bom e de ótima localização!

Hotel em localização ótima e se não fosse pela condição do quarto, daria uma nota maior. Hotel com estrutura antiga (pelo menos o quarto que fiquei) e o café da manhã achei d e pouca variedade pelo preço cobrado pela diária. Maioria dos funcionários super atenciosos e queridos!

Exceto o atendimento na recepção que foi simpático e solícito, o restante limpeza, conforto, manutenção deixaram a desejar.

O Hotel é bom, café da manhã razoável, porém estava a trabalho e a internet no meu quarto não funcionou em nenhum momento, tive prejuízo no trabalho, mesmo solicitando varias vezes, eles não conseguiram resolver o problema.

Não informou número de recepção, não informou senha de Wi-Fi, cheiro ruim, minibar super caro e café da manhã ruim.

Hotel não tem funcionários em número mínimo necessário. Problema com arrumação do quarto todos os dias. No ultimo, não tinha lençol!!!! (E não foi resolvido). Café da manhã muito fraco.

Estadia boa. Porem chegamos à noite e o chuveiro não esquentou, tivemos que tomar banho frio.

Localização excelente, Hotel antigo.

Razoável. O Hotel fica em uma localização muito privilegiada, as portas do Parque Moinhos de Vento. Uma corrida ou caminhada é muito agradável. No entorno muitos restaurantes, bares e cafés. O Hotel mesmo está ANTIGO e desatualizado. A manutenção e cuidado estão em dia, nada quebrado, mas não é uma hospedagem moderna. A TV só tem canais básicos. O quarto é escuro. A cama está RUIM, colchão de molas antigos e barulhento. O WC é OK.

Caro e com anúncio enganoso

Paguei 700 R$ em um quarto para dois adultos e uma criança que supostamente teria uma sala separada com sofá cama e uma cama king size. A sala não era separada, e a cama não era king size. O sofá cama não estava arrumado para a minha filha e não havia camareira para arrumar, pedimos lençóis e tivemos que arrumar nós mesmos, não havia sequer copos no quarto, a torneira do chuveiro estava solta e caía toda hora, lençóis manchados, luzes de cabeceira piscando. Tem hotéis muito melhores por menos.

Hotel MARAVILHOSO!!

Problema com atendimento no turno da manhã

O atendente da noite que fez o meu check-in fez um ótimo atendimento, atencioso, gentil, simpático… o quarto confortável com cama boa e estava bem limpinho. A única coisa que tenho a reclamar foi do atendimento de uma mulher no turno da manhã, grosseira, abusada, atendimento com arrogância. O hotel vazio e eu queria apenas ficar com o quarto até 14h por causa do horário do meu voo, ela não permitiu, sendo que eu fiz check-in 23h, não custava estender gratuitamente e ela queria me cobrar 90,00

Localização boa. Pessoal educado e cortês. Instalações antigas, todavia. No período que estive (ano novo) os pratos quentes do cafe da manhã estavam gelados.

Boa opções no Parcão.

Pernoitamos em POA vindo de Gramado antes de viajar ao nosso destino, foi uma boa estadia, pudemos desfrutar da região do Parcão e descansar antes de nossa viagem.

Quarto limpo e cama boa

Quarto estava limpo, cama boa, roupas de cama e toalhas limpas e cheirosas. Banheiro limpo, Cafe da manhã bom. Tudo funcionou perfeitamente em nossa estadia.

Razoável, o banheiro estava com vazamento e desleixado, esta foi minha segunda estadia, voltei porque tinha gostado, mas na segunda experiencia não gostei

Muito bom o hotel

Tudo certo, muito organizado, limpo e confortável. O que achei que poderia melhorar seria o frigobar, que não gelava e os produtos com preços elevados até mesmo para hotel. Uma água com gás de 350ml a R$8,00 e não passava de morna sua temperatura. O hotel no geral teria um preço “ok” para sua estrutura, senão fosse o custo a mais da diária do estacionamento, que é muito elevado R$40,00/noite.

Decepcionante

Acomodaram parte da família no décimo primeiro andar e a outra no segundo, em um quarto ao lado da lavanderia, muito barulhento. Isso apesar do pedido expresso de quartos próximos em reserva feita com bastante antecedência.

Tive uma boa estadia. Hotel bom e bem localizado. Alguns detalhes que poderiam ser melhores: ar condicionado muito velho mesmo dificil de ajustar, toalhas ruins e velhas e a comida que pedi no quarto estava muito ruim mesmo. No mais para mim vale quanto pesa, porém estes pequenos detalhes poderiam fazer uma grande diferença.

Ótimo hotel, bem localizado um bairro maravilhoso, bem aconchegante e calmo, excelente pra quem tem crianças. Só faz falta um espaço kids pros dias chuvosos, tirando isso tem uma ótima praça bem na frente.

Localização ótima. Atendimento na recepção bom. Quarto ok, mas o banheiro tinha vazamento no cano da pia e o ralo não escoava a água do box. Em banho de menos de 5 minutos a água já subia acima do pé... Encontramos uma sacola de supermercado no quarto, o que indica que a limpeza não foi das melhores. Café da manhã desorganizado, com garçons de má vontade.

O chão estava sujo (no dia em que foi feito o check-in), banheiro com bolor, e apenas na primeira diária foi realizado serviço de arrumação. Café da manhã bom, porém novamente a limpeza das mesas deixou a desejar.

Queda grande na qualidade

O hotel deu uma boa decaída. Os quartos estão com problemas de manutenção, tipo o porta papel higiênico caiu, e nenhum foi colocado no local, está lá o parafuso do suporte. As toalhas de banho são puídas e furadas, e o serviço de quarto é bastante ineficiente, tendo sido esquecido de ser feito completamente 1 dia, mesmo após uma lembrança na portaria ao meio dia. Mas mesmo quando é feito, deixa bastante a desejar. Uma pena, pois é meu hotel preferido na cidade com uma localização incrível, mas provavelmente me hospedarei em outro da próxima vez.

Atendimento terrível

Hotel ok, quarto era limpo e espaçoso. O atendimento que deixou muito a desejar. O funcionário da chegada foi bem mal educado ao nos falar sobre o pagamento do estacionamento(nao estava claro que era pago separado da diaria). As camareiras grutando e falando alto 8h da manha no corredor e ainda entraram no nosso quarto as 8:40 sem bater. Ainda estava na cama. Um horror. Na saida apesar de ja termos pago as diarias no dia em que chegamos, nos cobraram novamente, pois o funcionário da chegada nao deu baixa no sistema. Tive que procurar extraro do cartao para provar o pagamento. Para completar quando cheguei no cafe da manha 10:15, passou por mim um garcom e falou sao 10:20, tem 10 minutos. Achei absurdo e inacreditável, nem parece que lidam com pessoas. Fiquei chicada com o atendimento e Sinceramente nao voltaria jamais a esse hotel. Uma pena pois a localização é boa e o hotel no geral tambem.

Quartos com mofos, tivemos que trocar. Cama ruim, balança muito. Quartos são grandes e localização excelente, mas o hotel precisa de reforma. Café da manhã médio, com muita coisa pré fabricada.

Ótima localização

Os pontos altos são o atendimento, qualidade do café da manhã. Alguns problemas de manutenção, na janela do quarto, o suporte de limite de abertura estava quebrado, mas nada que prejudique a estadia. Tive alguns pequenos problemas (a estadia foi longa) e todos foram prontamente atendidos e solucionados com muita gentileza pelos funcionários.
