Great services, attached to a shopping Mall and walkable to city center, the staff was very accommodating and very kind, the old town goes through some construction, so it was confusing to get to the hotel, the room was nice and clean

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times as a drive through overnight just to break a 2300 km travel distance. One minor thing is that ( I guess ) half of the bedrooms face the tram Lines, which create unpleasant squeaking Sound in the early morning hours. Next time we have to ask for a room not facing the tramline

Good city centre hotel

Great position for town centre and amenities. Parking on site. Staff very efficient, friendly and helpful.

Amazing pool and hot tub. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Location was quiet and parking was easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was a little hard for my back but didn’t seem to bother the kids at all. Didn’t feel safe walking to local sites but Uber was quick and easy. All around an excellent stay! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!

Absolutely wonderful stay in the Montpellier! The hotel is modern but right in the center of town, connect to a huge mall with tons of shopping & dining options. Short 10 minute walk to center of Montpellier. Easy parking. Good breakfast. Attentive staff. Great pools. Wonderful spa. Loved our stay.

We picked this property for its vicinity to St-Roch station. The rooftop pool was lovely and my partner enjoyed the spa and sauna. The room was very clean. The best thing about this hotel though was that all the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating!

The one thing I will complain about was the AC unit that was not working to satisfaction and we had to open the window as it was not blowing cold air. Other than that, Blaise and the team were very nice and courteous.

The hotel was beautiful - clean, great pool/sauna/spa areas but it was not in the best location - a bit of a plain walk to get to the main part of town.

The Pullman is a lovely, well-appointed hotel with lots of amenities. Our stay was made even better by the amazing staff (Michael was extra attentive) who satisfied our every need and helped avert a crisis after check-out. I highly recommend The Pullman in Montpellier.

Disappointing

Pluses: Friendly front desk staff and helpful manager. Breakfast good. I enjoyed the pool. Being attached to the shopping centre was useful. I was upgraded but couldn't see much difference to the other rooms I looked at. Minuses: Was disappointed with quite small and noisy room (talking and banging etc from neighboring rooms) The rooms in the back have a view of the shopping centre car park entrance and a tram line that goes round the hotel. Those in the front have an urban view including road and tram line although the external soundproofing is good (not so internally). The hotel was significantly more expensive than others in Montpellier during my stay and I was disappointed with the overall value and wished I'd stayed elsewhere which I will do next time.

Take your own tea and coffee

Nice hotel and service good. The only let down was the drink facilities in the room, 1 coffee, 1 tea, no milk . 2 water in fridge, nothing else….. sparse is an understatement , especially for 2 people staying in the room.

The hotel is next to the Polygone mall and next to place de la comedie . Very convenient to restaurants and shops . the staff is excellent , courteous , and mainly Mr. Mehdi is very kind , professional , very helpful . I highly recommend the hotel .

A real gen!

This newly renovated hotel is conveniently located, pleasantly decorated and had the best breakfast buffet i’ve seen in France. The 8th floor has a pool, beautiful views and the Vertigo restaurant. Another pool, exercise and spa services is in the lobby floor. Staff is feuendky and helpful.

Enjoyable place to explore the city from

It is located above a shopping mall, in the centre of Montpellier. Easy access from the mall’s underground parking. Business-orientated hotel, with very good service and an excellent breakfast, with a large variety of tasty food items. Our Superior Room was large, modern, and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Thanks for the free bottled water offered. Enjoyable place to explore the city from.

The front desk staff are very informative and helpful. The location is very convenient to everything, both walking and tram and train. The restaurant is very good and great breakfast buffet. Beautiful rooftop with pool and restaurant or relaxing with a drink. All staff was great.

Our room was stiffling hot. We lowered the air conditioning, and nothing. We called tge front desk, they said it took time. We waited and waited and it only went up in temperature. The front desk came at our request and said played with it. Ssme issue. He said the only thing we can do is pit you in another room. Guess what, same thing. We had to open the windows, we could not sleep. Now we had a noisy train passing by every 15 minutes and noise in the street all might. The outside air helped a little but barely. What annoyed us the most was the inconsideration of the front desk, lying to us and making us feel llike we did not know how to use the airconditioning and inconveniencing us at midnight for no purpose. The next morning when checking out, i complained at the front desk. They said at this time in october, the air conditioning is off. So they knew...... This is the worst experience we have ever had in an international chain. This only happened once in a small town in China on a chinese chain, not international 4 star hotel. Really puts the hotel to shame.

Stayed here 2 years ago and enjoyed it so paid a premium to stay again. Was disappointed - clueless staff and the hotel did not seem well maintained. Is hard to find from the main square - have to walk through a closed shopping mall and an eerie underground parking garage. Still loved the rooftop pool though. Not sure I would pay to stay here again.

The Pullman is located in a great location close to the city Tram stop. The rooms were clean and the service was very professional. I recommend this hotel without reservation for a stay in Montepellier.

The hotel was very clean and the staff really lovely and friendly. Location was good too (just 5-10 mins to the centre of town). And the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. We were disappointed that there were no sunbeds around the pool, so it felt like you weren’t able to relax at the pool in between day trips. The door key cards kept not working and we had to get them reprogrammed around 4-5 times a day which was frustrating. And the English TV channels had no sound and Reception told us that they only had the visual - really weird and annoying when we wanted to watch a film in the evening (all other channels had sound). I expected more from this hotel really especially for the price. With a few improvements this place would be perfect.

The service was excellent, friendly, efficient and courteous. The buffet breakfast was also excellent, a wide choice of good food served on the rooftop with a beautiful view of Montpellier. The beds were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The only small gripe I have however is that there was no complimentary bottled water on arrival, so we took some from the mini bar - a small note on the pillow to say that cold water was waiting for us in the fridge would have made all the difference. It's the little things that really make for a 5 star welcome. Apart from that - everything was excellent.

Very good 2 night stay. Excellent welcome, very pleasant room, with good bathroom, although not sure what made it a »superior room «  Bath robes and slippers included. Rooftop swimming pool good, if a little cramped. Good breakfast taken on the roof top terrace with attentive staff.

Hotel was central and within very easy walking distance to a lot of places. Room was a good size. Bathroom was dated and pillows could be a bit better. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The lobby smells really unpleasant however. It really is a shine. Luckily the room didn’t smell the same. Overall a god stay

Lovely central hotel, near to shops, trams and the main railway station. Clean, spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds and good quality bedding. Excellent rooftop restaurant. Swimming pool looked nice, but as we visited in December, did not make use of it. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location.

Really good location, booked the hotel mainly for its facilities. Unfortunately the 1 full day we had at the hotel, they ended up doing some work around the pool without warning us, so we weren't able to use the lounge chairs for the afternoon. When I mentioned this checking out, they didn't seem to delve further. Otherwise, the room was lovely and I can imagine a great stay otherwise.

Overall wonderful, just one feedback to help improve, there was a bad smell coming from the toilet ventilation tried to keep toilet door always open but he smell still there. Room 704.

Great hotel at the edge of old city

Nice modern hotel at the edge of old city. All the convenience, comfort and cleanliness of a 21st C hotel with easy access to the charm and character of the old city.

Perfect location, if a little overpriced.

Perfect location and good facilities. Room seems a bit tired and dated- could do with a re-vamp. Rooms small (especially when there are 2 adults plus a child in them). In light of this, it’s a bit overpriced.

Excellent hotel very close to the city centre

Location is excellent, food is excellent, staff members are very friendly, facilities are excellent. We stayed for dinner one evening and while it was very pricey the quality of the food was very good. There is better value in other restaurants in Montpellier where the quality is of similar high standard. The rooftop pool was very cold, but it was lovely to sit outside on the 8th floor eating breakfast. Overall a great experience.

There is no hotel more centrally located than the Pullman.

creature comforts but cut off from city

nice hotel for those used to tight-ship experiences. but note that montpellier closes down after 1030 or so; no food around at all. the hotel sits not exactly next to anything in particular, so you will not have food available except for the 24 hour mcdonalds which is quite a ways away from the hotel. restaurant in hotel is good! pool area is fun!

Nice hotel in the hart of the city

The hotel is five minutes from the Comedie Place and you can access to the galleries and shopping from the hotel. The people at the reception desk are the most helpful I ever met in any other hotels. The restaurant "The Vertigo", at the terrace, is nice but the service is really slow and the food is just average.

Good airport hotel

The hotel provided what we needed, a well designed room, a convenient restaurant and an airport shuttle. Hallway carpets need to be replaced but other than worn rugs I have no complaints and would stay there again.

Excellent hotel; needs to keep its A/C functional

We stayed at the Pullman as a base of operations for touring Montpellier, Avignon, Arles, and other nearby cities in the south of France, for just under one week. Granted that it was an unusually warm period of time in mid-April, so whether air conditioning was available became more of an issue than might have been true with different weather. Unfortunately, the hotel's air conditioning was out of commission and every day we were told it would be fixed within 1-2 days; and never was. Luckily, the windows could be opened to the cool of night and they provided an electric fan, so we were reasonably OK. That being said, the hotel staff are extraordinarily helpful and friendly; the public areas and our spacious room were immaculate and modern, and the included breakfast was excellent, with probably the widest selection of food I have ever found in a hotel anywhere in the world. The hotel is outside of old town and easy to navigate to and from with our rental car, yet easily within walking distance to all that Montpellier has to offer. Would definitely recommend, but check the weather first (especially in late spring and summer) and confirm that the A/C is functional.

Stayed for 2 nights. Great service, excellent breakfast. Loved the coconut at breakfast :) Very convenient the direct passage to the mall (although closed Sunday) and Comedie center. Room was very pleasant and the huge TV is a great bonus!

Awesome stay

The staff was super friendly spoke English if did not speak French. Breakfast was amazing all sorts of pastries and breads very delicious. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable.

Nice hotel near mall and the Comedie (Town centre)

Five minute walk to the Poligone Mall and a further few minutes to the Tourist Office and the Comedie (town centre). The city core is made for walking. When we left we rolled our luggage up the same path past the tram stop ( a bit up hill) and then down to the Montpellier-St. Roch train station. (15 minutes). In two days we did not take a cab or the local tram system.

Really friendly and helpful staff

I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday in Montpellier with my sister and nephew. The staff were really helpful and the rooms we kept spotless. They really cater for your every need. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful stay.

Pullman- a Seviice Hotel

It was right a 15 min walk to the center of the old town where everything was happening.. It was far enough away so we could have a day of peace to lye by the gorgeous pool area on the roof.

The hotel room felt very cheap and the bathroom is bad

Very friendly and helpful hotel staffs. The room is a good size. But the housekeeping lack tention to detail when cleaned the room. when we arrived in our room we found that the drinking bottle was opened already and half empty.

Nice, but expensive.

Room was super spacious and comfortable. TV was ginormous (but a lot of channels on the menu did not come in). Rooftop pool was crowded and unpleasant. You literally had to slide single file to move around it. Location is close to old town, maybe a 10 minute walk. Staff were super nice. Parking was super reasonable. We were in a room with twin beds, but they were pushed up next to each other (which is fine for us, but just to note). Overall, I'd say it's overpriced, but we enjoyed our two nights here in August.

Hotel great , breakfast very expensive, was asked to move from the pool for a private party which was not good as we were paying guests . Only ate at hotel on last night and meal was awful .

Beautiful hotel with excellent breakfast by the rooftop pool with views of the city. Staff extremely friendly. Room excellent with views of the surrounding area. The location of the hotel was ideal for accessing the city. Very good value - I recommend you stay in this hotel if you are in Montpellier

OK location and good room

Pretty convenient location to city center (walkable, but easiest during shopping center opening hours). Expensive restaurant, but nice location on roof with pool as well. On weekend and holiday might be hard to get a sun chair. Room was nice with enough space for desk and small table as well. Only managed to find french tv channels unfortunately.

Pullman Montpellier staff are very helpful, courteous and nice . The hotel is located in a good area , next to Polygone and Place de la comedie . 5 mn to the train station by the TAM and 1 mn to the tram . the room is spacious with good wi fi and very clean ,

Super Clean, Great Breakfast, Wonderful Staff

The Pullman Montpellier is a great value! The rooms are clean, the hotel is well maintained and immaculate. The dining room is beautiful, looking out on the hotel pool. Staff is attentive and at $140 a night, this is great value! The location is perfect... A six minute walk to Place de la Comedie and a two minute walk to the tram! Visit Montpellier, a great city! The Pullman serves as an equally great home base!! Enjoy..

Good hotel but not worth the hefty price tag

Positive points - the bed was comfortable, very nice rooftop bar and swimming pool (even if I didn't get to try it out). Huge TV in the room, good wifi. The location is great, near the train station and city centre and and tram stop is right next to the hotel. Negative points: the welcome felt forced and over the top, room service wasn't good at all (I'm not a fussy eater at all however the meat was inedibly dry and the chips way too salty), the price of breakfast was extortionate (13 euros if you want one coffee and bread, otherwise 26/28 euros for anything substantial). Overall I don't feel that the room warrants such a high price tag, little touches such as a coffee machine in the room would have been appreciated. This is the norm in other 3/4 star hotels. Deco needs freshing up a bit.

Pullman is REAL

Good old Pullman is the go to place whenever i need to stay in this town. everything is great, only small downside is it is a little further out from the old town as other hotels in the area.

Such a nice hotel

I've been a regular at Pullman for years. Staff is very friendly and the place is well conceived and equipped for a nice and relaxing stay. I was tempted this time to have a swim in the pool but didn't take the time to do it eventually.

Very nice hotel ideally located

It's a gem in the middle of the City : ideally located between the 'old' and 'new' City, very comfortable, cosy, generous buffet at breakfast... Staff is friendly and efficient.

Not 4 star Quality.

I chose this hotel as I have stayed other Pullman properties and I was looking for more than your average 3 star accommodation found in most city centres. I opted for this 4 star one hoping to have a comfortable stay - unfortunately not. The reviews had mostly been pretty good but this hotel does not deserve 4 stars. Upon arrival which was quite late in the evening and after a journey taking some 11 hours , we were given the key to our superior room and were quite embarrassed to enter into someone else's occupied room - I've since read that this has happened before!! Back to reception again where after an apology we were given another room. Woken from 5 am onwards to the growingly more constant noise of passing trams very close to the hotel which made it impossible to go back to sleep. In the morning we were promised a quieter room and a present of chocolates. No upgrade was offered. The second night we slept better as this room was positioned where the trams are moving slower and not making so much noise. The TV channel selection was ridiculous with only 2 english ones both of which were news channels. The superior bedrooms are small, dark and dingy and though the beds were comfortable we felt very hemmed in and the lamps had to be constantly left on. Room service was prompt but the in-room dining menu is very limited and the bar downstairs did not even stock Bacardi rum. Very understocked mini bar also. Overall a very disappointing stay and we ere pleased to be checking out

High standard of service

I'd highly recommend the Pullman - excellent service, super comfortable hotel and everything in it was new and high quality. Pleasant staff.

Good hotel but not cheap at full rate

Room large and comfortable. Booked on line through Hotels and got around 30% lower than standard rate. Le Vertigo restaurant on top floor great. Didn't have breakfast as other reviews said expensive and not great. It did seem expensive. I only wanted a coffee but it seemed to be all or nothing. Staff very friendly. Trams and trains can be noisy if you are wrong side of hotel but they stop around 1am and start again around 5.30am.

The room seemed a bit small for the price.

The hotel lobby is beautiful but when you going to elevator and enter in the rooms look like old hotel, my room's safe do not work and we have to wait until next day for a tech also the shower drain do not evacuated the water properly u shower with the water at 3 inch high. We came from Barcelona and the other Pullman was excellent this need a renovation. Also great staff very friendly and helpful.

Easy to find and nice hotel

Easy to find and well-located. We got a great welcome to the hotel, the rooms were clean and comfy and parking easy. Park in Polygone P3 and on leaving you can pay at reception. The area was nice and only 5 minutes from Place de Comedie. The pool was small and seating limited and the gym tiny but it was a nice addition. My main gripe was the pool bar service - it was rubbish. I know it was not lunch time but we had to wait ages and then chase staff to get our order taken. So maybe just eat somewhere else.

Well located hotel and very nice roof terrace

From home to home. I go to this hotel once a month and enjoy the friendly staff, great comfort and amazing breakfast buffet on the astonishing roof terrace by the pool.

Disappointing

Didn't like the overall experience in this hotel. Receptionists and waiters in the roof top restaurant were not friendly and had always an arrogant attitude which killed part of the experience - I was staying with 2 other work colleagues in this hotel and shared very similar opinions. The coffee in the room was pretty awful (instant) and the coffee in the restaurant was equally disappointing (Nespresso).

All in all a very pleasant stay.

From the moment I arrived to my departure I felt looked after by the hotel staff. The faculties as described, the restaurant food superb, together with the breakfast buffet very nice.

Great location in Centre Ville

Relatively easy to find, thanks to helpful road signs. Really putrid smell in lobby, unfortunately--seemed to emanate from restrooms on both days we were there. Most people we dealt with at the front desk didn't speak English, which is unusual for a four star hotel in Europe today. The one woman who did was a joy, and she cheerfully helped us make a dinner reservation. The hallway smelled as if somebody was cooking. The room, thankfully, smelled fine, and was quite clean and comfortable. The free Wi-Fi service was excellent.

Good location for visiting centre of Montpellier, Christmas market and shopping at Polygone mall. Very convenient for the tram. Fantastic breakfast buffet!
