I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Proteas! The hotel is immaculate and very well appointed. A lovely family owns and runs it and their attention to detail is evident. The rooms and furnishings are modern and comfortable. Every room has private outdoor seating as well. The pool was perfect! The food was delicious…homemade on site. The hotel is a short walk to beaches, restaurants and bus service. The area is quiet and safe. I can highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. Enjoy this Naxos gem!

Wonderful hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the beach. Very clean and spacious suite with a jacuzzi and view of the sea. Would highly recommend.

Definitely would recommend & go back if visiting Naxos again. Unbelievably clean, staff very friendly & helpful. Delicious breakfast. All around definitely a place to recommend.

Property was in impeccable condition. The pool was amazing for our son, and the proximity to the beach was great.

The staff was very helpful and attended to all our needs, even helped us carry our luggage to the room. The room was clean with a bit of sea view. We decided to rent a car and they had guest parking available. Location is very ideal with 4 minutes walk to the beach and few minutes to the nearby restaurants for various meal options.

The hotel room and hot tub was amazing. Staff were also super friendly and helpful. Would come back and stay here again. Highly recommend

Excellent in every way!

The family-run Proteas Hotel is excellent in every respect. The staff are amazing - informative, helpful, warm and friendly. The location is lovely, on a hill-top overlooking the sea just outside of Agios Prokopolis. It’s only a short walk to the beach or the bus stop that will take you into Chora, the main town for just Euros 2! Everything was sparkling, with daily room cleaning. The swimming pool offered a welcome relief from the heat of the afternoon. The hotel offers breakfast and light meals, which were well prepared. The guests were quiet and the peaceful evenings on our terrace were not disturbed. We loved the place and hope to come back again someday!

This was exactly what I was looking for-- a quiet studio a little away from everything, but still close enough to be convenient. It's close to some of the best beaches and not far from the main town.

Lovely stay!

Great location within a close walk to the beach and town but on the outskirts so nice and quiet. Lovely well kept facilities throughout the hotel including the pool and food provided. The room was spacious, modern and well equiped.

Beautiful, well kept gem on Naxos

This was a beautiful hotel in a perfect location for us to explore Naxos. The people who run the place are very nice, and very helpful. Having the beautiful pool was a plus as well, it being a bit hot while we were there. The room was very big, and having a kitchenette was nice. We loved staying at Hotel Proteas!

This hotel was wonderful. The area was quiet yet close to beach & restaurants. The family that owns it is friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Perfect combination!

Hotel Proteas is absolutely beautiful! We were blown away when we turned up by our room that was 5 metres from the pool. It is a basic hotel but it is done so beautifully. The staff around the hotel work tirelessly and it is clear they love the hotel. A couple of pointers if you’re staying I would ask for a room next to the pool as we absolutely loved it, it is very quiet around the pool and it is quite small but the local beach is a 5 minute walk and is lovely. The only one improvement I would recommend is that they put up a shower holder (wall holder) as you have to hold the shower when showering. I had an amazing stay as my first time in Naxos I loved the island and the hotel and I can’t wait to go back!

Perfect location for us, everything was perfect!

Maria is a very nice and sweet person. She accomodated us for the last day with our luggages. Everything as perfect!!!!

This hotel is a great place to stay can not falt it, its clean and well maintained the family who run and own the hotel are lovely and are willing to help. The hotel is in a great location 5 minutes walk to a great beach and 10 minutes walk to a great selection of restaurants and bars, it has a great clean and safe pool area, all the rooms have balconys ours was great with stunning sunset views in fact just great view's, I know it's only 3 stars, but I've stayed in 4 stars hotels that aren't as nice as this place, they also do a great bacon toastie for breakfast. Thanks very much for a great 17 night stay, and if I get out there for some more windsurfing I will stay with you again

Close to beach and great restaurants. Theh were very helpful to help arrange car rental and tfey kept me informed daily of dock strike and how it wiuld affect our ferry there.

Very clean hotel, choose a room that’s not on the street level. It’s very hard to shower without making the whole bathroom wet. Very clean pool, 15min walk to beach and Prokopios restaurants

Large room in hotel with lovely pool

The room itself was very spacious but simple. It had a double and a single bed. Also a kitchenette with sink, cooktop and fridge. The bathroom was basic but adequate. The pool area was very nice with sun lounges. The location was good as we could walk to the town and beach at Prokopios. The bus stop was only a 5 minute walk away also so easy to get around. We had difficulty finding the hotel initially. Take the bus from Naxos port to Prokopios and get off at the stop called Lago Mare. Then go along the road that runs off the main road and to the west. It is only a few minutes walk and the hotel is on your right. The staff were very helpful with advice and even booked us a tour. They sell bus tickets at the front desk.

The very best of the Cyclades

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as lovely and easy as possible. The property was gorgeous, the breakfast the most delicious we had during our multi-island stay, and the service impeccable. They helped us rent a car which was delivered right to the hotel, do laundry and plan our island adventures. My husband left his passport and wallet in the room when we checked out. The front desk promptly mailed the passport and wallet (all contents untouched) to our next hotel, saving our whole trip. I can’t say enough about this place! We hope to return some day for a longer stay!

I loved my stay here at Hotel Proteas, and so did my mum and cousin. We had a beautiful sunlit room with a balcony (paying for the balcony with a sea view is really worth it, the view is gorgeous). The room was always meticulously cleaned everyday and was quite spacious. The pool area and the flowers everywhere and the views make this hotel really delightful to stay at. It felt really homey and comfortable. The people working at Hotel Proteas are really lovely and do everything they can for you to enjoy your stay. Its a short walk to the bus stop and to the main street of Agios Prokopios. When I was making a booking for Naxos I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay in Naxos town or not. I'm really glad I decided to stay near Agios Prokopios instead, as the town is not that far away and I got to experience more of the island this way. I couldn't recommend staying at Hotel Proteas enough! It was really great value too. Enjoy!

NICE, COSY AND QUITE HOTEL

We have been in this hotel for a week in high season. staff very nice and competent, every day they cleaned the room, and the pool is awesome! perfect location, 5 min to walk from the beach, restaurant, coffee shops, markets and bakeries a well. Very easy and cheap to reach the port and Naxos center by bus.

Lovely hotel near everything

Hotel Proteas is a lovely place to stay in Agios Propokios as it is in a quiet area, close to the beach, shops and bus stop. It has a beautiful pool to cool off in after a hot day and the rooms are big! The town is a short 10 minute walk and has many restaurants and shops. Would stay here again.

Fabulous family holiday hotel

We had a fantastic 7 night stay at Hotel Proteas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious accommodation for a family of 4, cleaned daily and overlooking the pool. Lovely pool. 10 minute walk to the beach or town, which was fine for us, as the hotel was quiet at night, which suited us too. Breakfasts were delicious at the hotel, when we chose to eat there. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

Nice and easy to get to the beach

Nice hotel, each room has a balcony. Large rooms but the beds and sheets were not very comfortable. Good location with a 5 min walk to the beach. Breakfast was very convenient at the hotel. The island is amazing and you should rent a car to check it out!

Fantastiskt

Otroligt välskött och mysigt familjeägt boende och mycket god mat. Lagom avskilt men ändå smidigt TT promenera ner till stranden eller bussen.

Joli petit hotel à Agia Anna

Très joli hôtel au décor prometteur proche de la plage de Agia Anna a 5 Km de la capitale Chora centre de Naxos et arrivée dès ferry. Véhicule conseille pour se déplacer sinon arrêt de bus à 500m. Nous avons été extrêmement déçu par la chambre qui est totalement plongée dans la pénombre même en plein jour car sous une voûte (il fallait allumer la lumière en plein jour) Salle de bain sommaire Evitez les chambres 19,20,21 96 euros sans petit déjeuner Tarif élevé pour une chambre dans le noir et dans laquelle on ne peut y rester. Très jolie piscine , dommage que les propriétaires ne fassent pas respecter le règlement car bcp d’enfants qui crient qui sautent etc… donc difficile de profiter de ce joli endroit . Personnel charmant

Parfait- super rapport qualité prix

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet hotel. La chambre était très grande, très propre. Elle dispose d'une petite cuisine. La piscine est un vrai plus en plein été. Possibilité de se rendre à pieds au village en 10min. Super rapport qualité-prix.

Camera molto spaziosa e ben rifinita. Anche esternamente è una struttura incantevole e molto curata e pulita. Unica scomodità che abbiamo trovato è nella doccia che non è fissata a muro ma si deve tenere in mano. In definitiva un'ottima struttura.

Bella struttura non troppo lontana dal centro di Agios Prokopios. Appartamento spazioso, confortevole con tv a led con anche canali italiani. Pulizie e cambio asciugamani giornalieri, le lenzuola a giorni alterni. Bella piscina, profonda con vari lettini ai bordi.

Fantastisk ferie på et helt igennem fantastisk sted! Hotellet, stranden og byen i nærheden er så dejlig, at vi uden tvivl kommer tilbage til netop dette hotel. Det eneste negative at sige om dette sted de den vej man skal gå for at komme ned til “byen” om aftenen. Bilerne kører stærkt på den smalle og snoede landevej og belysningen er dårlig og derfor en anelse “farlig” (god ide at have lommelygten på mobilen tændt eller tage cykellygter med).

Ottima esperienza in hotel molto carino

La struttura è molto carina, vicina a una delle località di mare più belle dell'isola, la spiaggia di San Procopio, e cmq vicina alla città di Naxos, tutto raggiungibile sia coi mezzi pubblici che in moto o auto. Accoglienza gentile, personale cortese, gentile, professionale e al tempo stesso molto disponibile e friendly. le stanze ai piani superiori godono di un bel panorama. Assolutamente consigliato.

Very nice, clean hotel and friendly staff

The hotel is on top of a hill and has a very nice sea view if you're in the right room. Every day the staff cleans your room, the pool and the general area's. Very clean. It's a 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants. Very helpfull staff. You can take breakfast in the hotel, there is plenty of choice.

Ein Wohlfühl Hôtel .

Hotel sehr schön! Wir waren zwei Personen und man hatte uns ein Zimmer für vier reserviert! Wieso dass? Keine Ahnung ! Ein Zimmer sozusagen im Keller! Es gefiel uns gar nicht! Das Hôtel war sehr zuvorkommend und wir bekamen dann ein Zimmer mit zwei Terrassen und einer sehr schönen Sicht auf`s Land und bis zum Meer. Das Personnel war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hotelzimmer tip-top sauber, so wie der Pool. Das Einzige: Es ist leider etwas zu weit entfernt von Geschäften und dem Strand. Man sollte schon Motorisiert sein, was kein Problem ist, denn es gibt überall Vermietungen von Fahrzeugen! Wir haben 2 Wochen schöne, wolkenlose Ferien verbracht.

Abbiamo soggiornato io e mia moglie in questa magnifica struttura dal 11 al 19 agosto, in un posto meraviglioso lontano dal caos ma vicino(6km) da chora, il centro principale dell isola di Naxos. Hotel situato ad Ag. Procopios un piccolo paese con un bellissimo lungomare con taverne e ristoranti, negozi di souvenir e rent car e moto. La struttura comoda, nuova, silenziosa, camere grandissime (la nostra era la 17). La nostra camera era talmente fresca che non abbiamo mai acceso il condizionatore. La pulizia altamente qualificata, cambio biancheria tutti i giorni. Io è mia moglie siamo animalisti e aver notato la pulizia delle scodelle per i gatti (che in Grecia abbondano) lavate tutti i giorni ci ha riempito il cuore e fatto sentire ancora di più tra amici. Isola stupenda, mare cristallino, cielo meraviglioso, aria finissima, sole dolce e caldo il giusto, cibo ottimo. Anche quest'anno la Grecia ci ha fatto sognare. Grazie hotel Proteas grazie Naxos.

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο. Ευγενικό προσωπικό. Μεγάλο δωμάτιο, καθαρό, άνετο στρώμα, καθημερινή αλλαγή σε σεντόνια και πετσέτες. Λίγο μακρία από την παραλία με τα πόδια, ωστόσο είχαμε μεταφορικό μέσο. Μικρός χώρος γύρω απο την πισίνα και λίγες ξαπλώστρες συγκριτικά με τον αριθμό ατόμων που δέχεται το ξενοδοχείο. Πολύ καλη σχέση τιμής - ποιότητας.

Veldig flott hotell, gangavstand til ei flott strand med en del tavernaer langs veien. Hotellrommet ble godt vasket hver dag, og nye hånklær og sengetøy hver dag. Litt kjedelig lokalområde, men Naxos by var bare en liten taxitur unna.
