The property overall condition was good. The breakfast has great quality but a bit costly. I stayed in this property twice and will comeback again.

The hotel is well situated on the sea front at Menton ….a 20 minutes walk to the centre. There isn’t a pool, it’s a jacuzzi.

Very clean and friendly hotel. Good location. Ten minutes from the station and very close to bus stop. Nice room.

Exceeded all expectations! Rooms were very clean, staff was incredibly accommodating and you cant beat the location. We will be back again next year!

Relaxing place overlooking the sea

Lovely place overlooking the Mediterranean sea with a balcony. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room has a coffee maker and minibar. Bed was comfortable. We parked at their year which is 13Eur per night. Perfect place to relax.....the only thing we missed to make it perfect is to have some English channel in the TV

Nice waterfront location. Rooms were clean with great balcony views. Several parking spots in front otherwise its street parkin or adjacent lot both are pay locations. Nice walking path around beach with plenty of benches..cafes...restaurants

Very nice and clean hotel and very close to the beach. Very convenient location. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that you could take bus 608 to Monaco. The hotel is about 0.4 miles from Menton train station. The front desk staff is very nice, professional and helpful.

We had a beautiful room overlooking the sea. It was quiet and the sauna and gym or very convenient.

This is a hidden little gem in Menton. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Mountain or Sea View rooms both wonderful. Can’t recommend it enough.

The staff were amazing and the hotel itself was equally amazing. I was happy throughout. When we had a question or request it was met with polite service and quick assistance. One may need an outlet in the bathroom, but an extension cord in the room made the difference. Menton is sweet and organized and everything is as you’d expect with the hotels location to it. It’s right on the sea and the view is spectacular. Do not miss the solarium on the top floor. Loved it.

Great hotel

Very friendly staff, and hotel looked like it has been recently refurbished. Room was spacious and comfy. We had a mountain view room which sometime can just be an excuse for ‘not sea view’ but the this was not the case, we had a nice balcony, not overlooked by anyone and full panoramic views of the mountain. All very good

We stayed recently for second time at this great hotel and were very happy with the hotel. Staff were very nice and tried their best to make our stay perfect. We had a couple of small problems and they took care of the issues to our satisfaction. We will stay again if we return to the area.

Listen to the sea’

Being on the water was great. We left the balcony door opened all night to hear the waves crashing against sea wall and rocks. Very romantic!The only negative was the WiFi. It was VERY WEAK, kept going away, and was V E R Y S l o w ! ! !

Hotel by the beach

Great beachfront location. Easy walk into town. Fantastic customer service.

What stands out about this hotel are its private beach, beach bar and the sea view from the room. As a 10+ year hotel, it is in good condition. As it is right on the beach, a stroll on the Riviera promenade or a walk to the old town is very convenient. Leah Kline's jazz renditions in the hotel lounge are superb.

This is not a four star hotel, and although it is in a good location, with a good seaview, with very helpful staff, we were disappointed with the policies of the hotel. It was supposed to be "non-smoking" but smoking was permitted on the balconies. As the guest next to us was a smoker, it meant we couldn't enjoy sitting on our balcony. Although we tried to keep our bedroom door closed as much as possible, the smoke permeated into the bedroom, and it smelt like an old "smoking "room that needed to be deodorised.. We were also not informed that the hotel was "pet friendly", and the next to us guest had brought their dog with them. We had to complain three times to reception about the dog barking.. We we were on vacation, and did not appreciate being wakened up about 7.00am by a barking dog,. Another reason why we couldn't enjoy our balcony.due to the dog barking. The bedroom was acceptable,although there were stains in the small carpet.The hotel had two elevators, unfortunately, they only held two persons or the doors wouldn't close. Not good for arrival with two suitcases. The whole time we were there (14 days) the temperature was in excess of 30 degrees C., and there was no ice machines in the whole building except at the bar. Everyday we had to go down to the reception to ask for a bowl of ice, so we could have a cool drink in our room. The toiletries in the bathroom were not replaced automatically, and after a week, we had to ask for a second bar of soap !

The stay was great, staff were very friendly and the hotel is very neat and looks great.

Two nights in Menton

The room (double comfort) was too small for two people. Balcony is a plus. Solarium was a nice addition. Location excellent.

Great location and value for comfort property

Fantastic location and great service from front desk staff! Place may look a bit dated from the outside but very comfortable and modern in the room. There are however limited parking spots (about 5) so it is unlikely you’ll get a spot. There is public parking just 50M down the road and it’s free from 7pm-9am. However please make sure it’s properly secured as I’ve seen another car being broken into.

Excellent breakfast buffet, wonderful view from room, loved the balcony, blackout curtains, comfy bed, plenty of hot water, convenient location, great service - so glad we stayed in Menton, what a lovely town, not too big but not too small! Only negative was the tepid temperature of the hot tub, a disappointment but not a deal breaker. Would definitely return!

great hotel

The hotel is 30 minutes outside Monte Carlo. Lovely location, lovely hotel, lovely staff. Take the 100 bus to get into Monte Carlo at 1.50 euros. Taxi's are pretty steep. La Trattoria is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area.

Opposite the beach

Efficient check in-check out. Room nicely decorated. Restaurants near by. Public transport available. Somewhat noisy as roads are on 2 sides of the property. Ventilation could be improved.

Lovely hotel right at the beach. Worth it to get a sea view room. Good European breakfast for 12 euros. Very nice and helpful staff.

Very nice Beach Hotel

This is a very pleasant hotel just by the beach. We had a room with a balcony facing the sea. It is very close to the centre of the old town and the wonderful Jean Cocteau museum. The rooms are simple and clean. The gym is limited but useful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast on the terrace at the front of the hotel is really good.

Strong choice

Reasonably priced, standard amenities, no complaints. Ah! And loved the balcony and the views!

Princess and Richmond Hotel in Menton

Excellent hotel overlooking the sea. Excellent location, very friendly and welcoming staff, only 10 mins walk along the promenade to the old town of Menton. We had room with a mountain view and balcony overlooking the street but you only have to go downstairs to the bar and breakfast area and you are overlooking the sea! Added bonus is the jacuzzi and roof top terrace which overlooks the whole of Menton - highly recommend this hotel which is family run and celebrating 50 years this year - it has also all been refurbished so everything is new. Very comfy beds too.

Nice hotel

Wifi wasn't working during our whole stay. Otherwise it's a great hotel. Location is very good, close to the beach and many restaurants - however there is a loud street between the hotel and the sea. View from our room was excellent. A few parking spots can be found in front of the hotel and many more around the corner in a public parking lot.

Very nice hotel for the money . Rooms very quiet

Really nice place to stay in a very French part of the Côte d’Azur. The receptionists were very friendly! The rooms very clean. It’s so convenient for transportation to Monaco, Cap Ferrat and anywhere you want to go along the French Riviera. They have a really delicious vegan restaurant nearby called ‘loving hut’ - I really enjoyed staying there!

Great location. Walking distance to restaurants, attractions, shops. Very nice decor. We had a lovely room with a sea view. Wished we could have stayed longer than our 2 allotted nights. Next time!

Ideal stopover

Ideal overnight stopover between Italy and Provence. Menton is a much more relaxed version of Nice, the riviera views without all the people!

nice friendly clean modern hotel in Menton

Lovely friendly hotel in the seaside resort of Menton. Quite Modern inside, very clean, nice rooms. Offers breakfast only, but not an issue, as their are a lot of restaurants and cafes on the Prom on the walk into town. Would use again. About 10 minutes walk to Train station, and 15 minutes by Train to Monaco. About 45 mins to Nice Airport.

Parking a potential problem in high season.elevator small but staff helpful with luggage if asked.Very friendly staff. Good with English.

Côte d’Azur gem.

We had a fabulous time there. Upon arrival receptionist helped us with parking difficulty enormously from there on it was a breeze. Didn’t know what to expect for b-fast but turned out relaxing and satisfying. Can’t find any complaints. Would stay again as it’s ideal location for touring the coast in either direction.

Hotel rooms have been recently renovated and were very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great Location

Very nice hotel. I would only recommend a sea front room however. I had a side view which was mostly a view of the street behind (and them of me). Could not enjoy the view from the side. Would have been nice if breakfast was included.

Fantastic hotel.

We stayed at Princess et Richmond hotel for five nights. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were polite, helpful. The location was fantastic. It is on a Main Street, so noise is a small factor, however, the view more than makes up for it. Bus to and from the Nice airport stops right behind the hotel. Bus to and from Nice also stops behind hotel and is only $1.50 euro per trip.would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely family run hotel

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great seafront location about 10 mins walk to town. We had Seaview room with balcony which I would recommend. Nicely decorated room and very comfy bed.

Enjoyed the sea view

A very nice small hotel with friendly efficient staff. Lovely clean and very well-thought out modern room with sea view. Traffic is noisy during the day but a small price to pay. Excellent breakfast and comfortable lounge area. Couldn't fault it.Airport bus stops 2 minutes away.

Very pleasant experience

Very nice hotel, but due to its location, right on the main road between itself and the sea, it was noisy from traffic. Also this lack of space in front meant that there were no gardens in which to sit, so the only way to sit outdoors, especially in the shade, was to drive out to somewhere like a garden. Rather hard bed and little shelving for clothes - either in a low cupboard - not good if you have a weak back and have to get clothes out first thing in the morning, or high up above the hanging space, which I could not reach. No drawers for bits and pieces, which ended up being piled up on the 'desk/shelf' below the TV.

nice hotel with super rooms

All staff were polite and courteous from arrival to departure. Room was excellent and if only they had tea/coffee making facilities in the room it would have been perfect. For their info I would happily pay an extra €5 for this facility. Like a lot of hotels here it does not have a resto for dinner/lunch but you don't need to walk far for plenty of super options.

Nice hotel

This is a very nice hotel directly on the beach. The staff was helpful and courteous. The only negative was the traffic noise and the air conditioning which did not make it cool enough if the window was closed.

Wonderful hotel right across from beach

What a nice French Riviera hotel. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. It is located on the promenade and right across the street from the Mediterranean Sea. It was an easy walk / stroll into old town Menton and nice beach side restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful pizza dinner at an Italian restaurant on the beach. We did not have breakfast as we had an early train to catch, but it looked like they were putting out a nice variety. Can't ask for more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay there again.

A little bit of heaven in Menton!

We had the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea, we lay in bed watching the waves lap on the shore, the sun go down and the moonlight shining on the turquoise waters. It was heaven. Every comfort was available, staff so helpful and friendly. First class, thankyou.

Stunning views!

Great hotel with stunning views! Right on the water, with views of the mountains in the other direction. Cute little French town just outside of Monaco. Rooms were nice, looked newly renovated. Elevator is a bit small, but this is typical in France.Bathroom was very clean and modern but a bit small as well. The room was a little small as well, but had a huge terrace overlooking the water with 2 lounge chairs, and a table with 2 chairs which made it feel bigger. Tons of restaurants walking distance, and even a casino! Hotel was clean and the young man at the front desk (did not get his name unfortunately) was above and beyond helpful. Helping us with the trains, buses, pretty much everything. It did rain the whole time we were there, so check the weather! Hotel was a good find!

Very comfortable with helpful staff

Would stay there again. Comfortable bed. All rooms have balconies - even the ones not facing the sea have a nice mountain view. Helpful staff - helped me make my reservation at my next hotel. I ordered a glass of wine and they brought it to me on the rooftop with a tray full of snacks! Free computers for the guests in the lobby. It was less central than some other hotels but that was fine - it was a 10 minute walk overlooking the sea to the action. Bus to Monaco/Nice is right outside.

Family owned gem

The hotel is a great value for the location and level of service. The staff and owners have a warmhearted charm and went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable.

Princess et Richmond, nice find in Menton, France

I enjoyed the hotel, a very nice size, family run French Hotel in Menton, France. Breakfast nice, located nearby fun stuff, like beach, bars, restaurants. Nice cross of Italian and France.

Nice hotel close to the beach; lovely roof space.

We arrived by small yacht into Menton after two weeks at sea and to have a comfy bed instead of a bunk was a delight.

Really close to Monaco

We stayed there for 4 nights for a short vacation to visit Monaco. The facility was very clean, welcoming, and the staff were more than willing to provide tips for getting in to Monaco. The hotel is right up on the beach so you get a wonderful view of the coastline. It's very convenient to get into Monaco from the hotel, the bus stop is literally right behind the building and the cost was only 1.50 Euro's each way, and the ride is only 17 minutes, max. The buses also run very frequently so there's practically no wait at all.

Excellent price/quality ratio

The room was freshly renovated and extremely clean (an attribute to the fresh decor and excellent cleaning staff). The staff was friendly and helpful. Every night we were given the next days forecast printed to our room along with a biscuit... We left one morning for breakfast and had informed the reception staff that our refrigerator appeared to be over heating; we couldn't have been gone more than 45 minutes and when we returned the fridge had already been replaced... Helpful tip: the 100 and 110 steps from the hotel and it is about a 20 minutes leisurely walk to Menton center. Overall very impressed and I would stay there again!

Reasonable Place around Monaco

We had a ocean view room with balcony for 135 Euro/ nite. Hotel is next to 3 restuarants and only about 5 min. walk to bus stop to go to Monaco. had limited free parking on site but worked for us. Balcony was great for evening wine and morning coffee looking out over Mediteranean. Sand beach is less than 2 blocks away - no beach across street

Gorgeous view from our oceanfront room. Staff very courteous and helpful. Quiet place to relax. Breakfast was delicious. Our stay was very pleasant, we really enjoyed it!

WOW

Wow, this Hotel lived up to all our expectations plus. When booking, make sure you go for the sea veiws.In the mornings you will see Cruise ships passing, heading for Monaco. My wife and I had the only room on the 7th floor. Large balcony, great room and veiws for ever. The staff were great. Location is perfect to explore Monaco and Nice, at good rates. Public transport is so reasonable, 1 ride, 1 euro. Great restaurants near by. This was the perfect location, our only regret was our stay was 2 nights, would have loved 4-5.

Lovely hotel

Just stayed here with my boyfriend, we had a mountain view which was fine and we got sun on the balcony in the early evening! Great location, lovely town. Staff really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Es caro el hotel para lo que ofrece, sólo tiene la terraza. Una tina todo el hotel es remodelado, por lo que pues se ve viejo, las almohadas están muy duras, no te las cambian y la atención no es muy buena

Dommage de partir sur une mauvaise note...

Réceptionniste homme très sympathique et accueillant à l'arrivée le 9 janvier. Réceptionniste femme beaucoup moins agréable à la sortie le 11 janvier. Elle était en panique car perdue dans ses factures, ce qui peut arriver mais utilise alors un ton très désagréable, complètement fermée quand il a fallu lui expliquer qu'une partie de la note avait été payée en ligne. Sinon localisation au top. Vue mer magnifique, chambre néanmoins moyennement isolée, le bruit de la mer est agréable, celui des voitures qui passent devant l'est moins, même avec les volets fermés. Literie top.

Mysigt vid havet

Trevligt hotell precis vid havet, endast en gata skiljer. Om man väljer havsutsikt bör man bo på de övre våningarna för att slippa ljudet från gatan. Bra länge och fin frukost.

Justement pour cet hotel le parking est un problème Lors de notre arrivée l accueil nous a informé que dès le lendemain nous aurions une place et malheureusement le le lendemain une collègue de l accueil n a pas eu la même version (pas agreable du tout) en nous signalant qu il fallait réservé avant Un point c est tout Dommage pour ce comportement qui n est pas avec le reste de l établissement Walle laurent

Week-end fête citron Menton Février 2022

Attention de bien réserver (avec petit supplément) une place de parking de l'hôtel, surtout pendant les festivités de Menton (fête du citron par exemple).

Rena och fina rum. Nära stranden. Fin utsikt från rummet. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal.Jag hade gärna stannat längre.Det är en mysig stad. Hit kommer jag gärna igen.Rekommenderar det starkt.

Molto gentili. Ottima posizione. Camere sul mare con splendida vista.

Personnel attentionné et courtois, chambre impeccable, propre et au goût du jour. Lits confortables. À 10-15 minutes de marche du centre, mais agréable promenade au bord de la mer.

Se precisar de internet, esqueça

Não tem estacionamento, tivemos que parar na rua, a internet é péssima, não consegui responder meus e-mails, fora isso o hotel e bom, limpo, confortável e bem localizado.

Goede locatie, lekkere bedden en een heerlijke douche. Het was schoon en een heerlijk balkon. Fijn waren de rolluiken waardoor het lekker donker was en het geluid van het verkeer hoorde je daardoor niet meer. Ik kom graag een keer terug.

Menton forever

Fantastiskt hotell med underbar takterass och jacuzzi och med ett oslagbart läge direkt vid stranden, älskar utsikten från vår balkong där Medelhavets vågor slår in, sååå rogivande att få uppleva!

E' sicura, accogliente, confortevole, frequenta da bella gente. Staff efficiente, cordiale. Posizione excellent su mare ed al contempo vicino alla stazione treni, fermate bus proprio di fianco all'hotel. Molto gradito il bollitore per te' e caffe'. Letto perfetti. Grazie.

Fint hotel

Rigtig fint hotel. Der var dog et par ved siden af os med to hunde. De gøede utrolig meget, hvilket vi nemt kunne høre. Ellers rigtig fint hotel, og hyggelig by.
