Nice property, the heated garage was a definite plus with crazy cold outdoor temps

Only thing missing was a bar and restaurant but I new that before going, breakfast was good though, and all the staff was friendly.

Everything was great, the beds were not the best.

Underground parking can be difficult if it's bust as there may not be sufficient spaces for all. It is included with the room so that is a bonus for sure though.

The only reason the Pomeroy didn’t get a better review from me was the beds. The mattresses are hard as rocks and extremely uncomfortable. Everything else about this hotel was fantastic. It was quiet, clean, the underground parking was a huge bonus. Unfortunately, the beds are enough of a factor that I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Easy access

The lady who works in the buffet was rude and ignorant. Definitely not someone who should be working with the public. Basically do your job and you won't have to interact with people.

The stay was all perfect and everything was clean. Breakfast was one of the reasons I booked here but was not edible. The bacon was sitting in grease for what looked like the entire morning and potatoes and omelettes were so incredibly dry. We decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. Lived the hotel and staff was great … I will stay here again but will just know not to go for breakfast.

Great Stay!

Underground parking. Great, quick, friendly service. Clean, comfortable room. Nice hot tub and steam room to relax in. Robes provided in room are a really nice touch. Great breakfast in the morning including eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, waffle maker, fruit and other items. Nice that it’s open until 11am on weekends.

LOVED and appreciated the underground parking and the security of using the room key for the elevator.

The location of the hotel did not feel safe. My room was next to the stairs and it was very noisy hearing the door open and slam shut throughout the night and the hallway stunk of weed!

It was a great hotel experience that was affordable. The room was spacious. The hot continental breakfast and underground parking were both included at a very affordable rate. Would definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed the entry way and the beds. Very comfortable. Room service was a little delayed a swe had to get our own fitted sheets when they were dirty but overall great experience. The breakfast was awesome too.

My wife noticed that the front desk moved us. Rooms. Reason was not given. Wallpaper was coming apart at the seams 1 inch gap under the door could hear everybody in the hallway. Beds were uncomfortable and very hard. Will not stay here again.

Everything was good

Property looks really nice, very spacious and staff are very helpful and accommodating.

The last few visits the elliptical in gym has been broken. I also requested housekeeping twice and my room was never serviced.

It was a slow checkin even though we prebooked and could have paid online because we happened to be checking in during audit. So we had to wait a half hour.

Great stay

We stayed on the fourth floor. We were expecting a very comfortable bed after driving for 5 hours. The bed was terrible. So not comfortable at all. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety to choose from but then you smell like bacon after eating. My husband and I had to go back in our room to change our clothes.

My stay started off with a late in the evening check-in, it was myself & my infant daughter. I was offered no help & the guy t the front desk seemed as if I was inconveniencing him by being there. He quickly skimmed over everything & didn't mention amenities such as the pool & gym & the hours they were available. Hotel room was clean, & fresh. Second day of being there, towels & toiletries were replaced but the bed was not remade (Which I found odd?) Check out was simple & the lady helping me was kind.

Best place in town?

Was told it was the nicest place in town It was okay, don't get me wrong, the front desk was nice enough, the breakfast lady was lovely. However, those walls are paper thin and you can hear every door slam because of the huge gap under the door. Beds need a big update, they slope inward to where you can see it clear as day. Bathrooms were nice, cheap tp. Breakfast was decent, great selection. Overall not a terrible stay, I guess if it gets worse around town I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

It is a clean, quite and very beautiful place. Probably the best hotel in the area. Very fair price for the quality of the room and building facilities. Will be staying here again in the future when I need a room in fort mcmurray

Totally Disappointed

Construction went on dayly,front desk told me Saiuna was working but it wasn’t.After my first night stay of 2 nobody even came to my room to see if I needed cleaning or anything. When I went to front desk my last day to ask a question all the attendant wanted to know if I I wanted to check out It was boy 9am. Both breakfast were terrible

The hotel is newer and is kept up really well. The beds could be a little more comfortable, but otherwise, the room is spacious and clean. It is also within walking distance to a couple good restaurants (Earls and BP's) which is ideal! The underground parking is also a great feature.

Beds were terrible had to switch rooms because one was a queen in a king room. That bed was broken.

Serena the breakfast server was very pleasant friendly amd helllpful in the morning.

We had a great stay, and will almost certainly stay again. I loved their fitness center and hot tub/steam room, staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good! The hotel wasn't super close to anything, but it was such a a lovely stay we didn't mind driving a few minutes to restaurants etc.

The room I am was supposed to check into was by renovations they were doing . So they upgraded me for free to a suite in a quiete area of hotel

Good staff fast friendly service

The hotel is clean and the rooms are dry spacious. I have stayed her before and had a very good experience. This time I arrived at 1:15pm and was advised that my room was ready, however if I checked in early there would be a $25 additional fee. As there is no reason for this additional fee, I will not be staying here again.

Very disappointed in our stay. We picked this hotel because of the hot tub and it was shut down the week we were there. The girl at the desk offered a discount but at checkout it was a different person and the invoice did not reflect a discount. I have spoken with several people and they all have to "talk to the manager" and call me back which no one has. Cleaning of the room wasn't done until day 4 so we had to keep going to the lobby to get towels, coffee, toilet paper and kleenex. When the cleaning staff came the second time they took our collection of bottles to return that was clearly in a separate box/area in the middle of our stay. AND one night was insanely loud we had to call down at midnight to complain. Just overall a disappointment.

Sisters Weekend

The 1st night was awesome and had a good nights sleep. It was the 2nd night there was a sports group of older teenage girls that slammed doors, yelled at each other down the hallway, and had no consideration for the other patrions staying at the hotel. This went on until 5am.

The Pomeroy was a great hotel. The lounge area in the lobby was so cozy, the room was clean and modern and the breakfast was great.

Quick trip

Wishing the pool and hot tub was open! Underground parking was excellent. Location was convenient. Gurpreet’s excellent customer service made up for the facility maintenance. She was excellent.

Would be nice to have two working elevators. Have stayed a few times over the last couple months and it's always once elevator working

For a new hotel. Super thing walls, so It was loud from people In the hallway at all times of day and night. Mattress was uncomfortable. Shower rod was slightly off so the curtain wouldn’t stay closed.

The Pomeroy needs to secure a food & beverage establishment for one of the vacant ground level spaces. They should approach Brown's Social House or Cactus Club Cafe.

Poor customer service and bad attitude towards others

Great service from all the staff. Love their coffee and they served great breakfast options.

Friendly staff and nice clean room. Dining area was bright and roomy but glad we brought our own coffee. Limited viewing movie /TV options but all in all a great stay.

Excellent location

Staff was very good and accommodating, breakfast was good and underground parking was good as well. Rooms were well maintained, clean and hygienic.

Finding rooms in Fort McMurray was difficult. I booked and confirmed through Expedia and then got a call from the hotel telling me they had no rooms. Initially I was told I had to cancel which would have meant no refund.

Reserved a room with a balcony which I could not access due to construction. There was also a lack of underground parking spaces. The staff could not accommodate any room change as the hotel was at full occupancy. Quite disappointed.

Facility is very clean and new, excellent & friendly staff and great breakfast, great underground parking and nice view. Five-star hotel with reasonable price. Makes you feel safe and wanna make you stay longer to enjoy their amenities. Thank you!

Clean and quiet. underground parking is a plus, great Breakfast, lady that preps and looks after the breakfast was very nice and made sure things were kept clean and trays were full. Gym is clean and has good equipment. Overall, a great place to stay. Will return to this Hotel again.

The pla w is under heavy construction. It would have been nice to know that BEFORE we booked a bapcony suite that had contraction stuff all over it.
