This was my first time staying at this resort, and I would stay here again. For the price, it’s a great place. The location is beautiful with a gorgeous beach with shallow clear water; great for snorkeling. The restaurant on the beach has delicious Thai food and lots of other options with very affordable prices and very nice staff. The view from our room was stunning. I love that the location is away from the crowds, but because it’s on a hill it could be challenging for people with mobility challenges. There’s a covered truck with seats at back of the truck, but that can be difficult to get in and out of as well. The room and bathroom were very clean and the drinks included were appreciated. The only complaint I would have is that the bed was a bit too hard for my taste. But again, the price, beach and views outweigh that and I would stay here again.
Always a great stay here! No complaints and the views are amazing!
Great location
Gorgeous location! You have to travel by long boat but so worth it as the beach is spectacular. Limited food options for vegetarian and very hard mattresses. The staff were helpful but could be more attentive, often had to tell them we needed a waiter to the table but they were very friendly and welcoming otherwise. Fantastic breakfast options. Yes we would definitely recommend staying here it was lovely.
Was very clean peaceful to stay
Great property on beautiful beach. amazing snorkeling from the beach.
Great beach, wonderful views and very quiet
Everything was great except 2 issues ( maybe 3) Ac in my villa blow cold air directly to the bed making it very uncomfortable. The wifi in the villa suites are terrible. The toilet smells bad after flushing bit the smell goes away quickly. It must be the plumbing. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Would stay here again.
Very well maintained, quite location and clean. The staff was also very friendly and professional.
Very nice would come back
Fantastic
Such a beautiful property. We loved our stay!
Fantastic place to stay
The most magical place to stay. The staff was lovely, very helpful and friendly. You have to take a long tail boat from the main area of town, but that didn’t bother us. We loved being away from town. You stay here and feel like you’re in a different town, must less crowded and dirty than the main area of town. Rooms were clean, food was great, good snorkeling right off shore. Can’t recommend this hotel enough 10/1. There was a decent walk to our room, but we didn’t mind. You can call for a ride if you can’t walk up the hills
This resort is located on a quiet strip of beach with just a few other properties away from the busy, smelly town which we didn't like at all! The beach is gorgeous; two small pools, nice restaurant on the beach and a little cafe next to it that has yummy food (but not part of the property). The rooms are comfortable though dated as others have shared. Beds are hard but AC worked great. The big deck with incredible view is worth it! Walking up and down steep path to beach/restaurant is a pain but you can call a shuttle anytime. Overall we loved it here and while the food was not as good on Ko Phi Phi compared to Ao Nang/Krabi the beaches and nearby snorkeling spots/islands are gorgeous. If you want a more upscale experience with lots of restaurants and big pools, dont go here but we liked the simple/chill vibe. The wait staff were slow and not attentive--this can be improved I think. Beware that there is no way to get off the property other than longboats. You'll get wet getting in and out of the boats so wear shorts or shorter skirts/dresses. This was a slight inconvenience but for a shorter stay, it's fine.
Good but smelly bathroom
not good
This resort was amazing! Beautiful beach the the view of the islands are spectacular. The rooms were cool bungalow style & had amazing view. The staff are very very friendly & helpful with anything you need. They speak many languages as well. I highly recommend & will stay here again
Beautiful resort with amazing views. We would definitely go back! Only downside is you need to take a longboat to get into town. Depending on the time of day it may be 150-300 baht per person. This means you’re away from the partying and craziness which we thought was worth it!
The views were to die for. Phi Phi island is beautiful and Phi Phi The Beach Resort is the place to go. Very quiet in the room, and the room had everything that you could ask for. The A/C worked flawlessly and I got some very much need sleep. Will definitely return.
This place is perfect for you if you plan on staying at the resort. If you want to visit the main part of town to eat, explore, party, shop… maybe consider a resort closer to the pier/main part of town. Sadly, the resort is only accessible via taxi boat (long tail boat) which costs 100-150 baht per person depending on the time you leave. Yes, there is a free taxi boat shuttle from the pier to the resort when you arrive and leave but otherwise you are on your own for transportation. It’s also worth mentioning that you get in the taxi boats through the beach (your shoes and feet will get wet). Otherwise, the staff is kind and friendly (they decorated my room for my birthday and gave us an upgrade in terms of the bungalow). The food is good and affordable given the location and the resort is beautiful since it is right on the beach and has its’ own private section. The bungalows are on a steep hill but you can grab a ride in a truck from the main lobby. All in all, an enjoyable stay and my sister and I would return there!
We enjoyed our stay and thought that the hotel was suitable for the price we paid. The food was average and with limited alternate restaurants around the area. Location is beautiful and makes this hotel what it is. Without the view and the perfect dream setting this hotel is average. We would have found it challenging to of stayed here for longer than our chosen time of 4 days due to it being isolated from the rest of the island. But for a short trip to phi phi this is suitable
Amazing views and food!
The resort is beautiful!! The rooms are more like villas with amazing features and views! The staff is very accommodating especially Max, who went above and beyond! Highly recommend!
Two night stay for two
Simply incredible! Beautiful resort, beaches, and great food. Should have stayed longer.
Very nice beach. Very close to Shark “island” for snorkeling right off the beach. More laidback for families
Liked the snorkeling Big hill to accomodation did not like when no Tpt available
We loved the property, the location, and the staff. We only had to call reception and someone would collect us from the room in a baht van to go down the hill to dining and the beach. The views were amazing and the beach was perfect. We thought we were in paradise. The only thing stopping us scoring 5 on everything was the litter from drinks and food at the beach were not collected and this attracted flies and insects etc
Great little rooms on stilts. We had a lovely sea view. The bed was so hard we couldn’t sleep. We did ask for something to pad the bed and they said they would but didn’t do anything. The whole place is looking tired and needs maintenance. Painting, sweeping and gardening. There was even Christmas decorations left out, like no one could be bothered to put them away. Also a Valentine’s Day decoration still there 2 weeks after the 14th! The beach is lovely and worth spending time on. The resort needs to clear away broken chairs and rubbish. It seems to be a common problem.
Rooms felt dark with dark wood but were very nice. Uphill climb to the rooms was hard on our friends but the hotel provided transport to the rooms. Please apply rxpedia points to my account.
Loved the view from our bungalow. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and comfortable
Amazing Stay
We love our stay in this resort. We reserve a Deluxe sea view room and the view was breath taking, definitely worth the extra money. The beach was beautiful and service was great. We'll definitely be back.
Overall wonderful but a few let downs
We had a wonderful stay. It is a beautiful hotel but a few things let it down. Room and restaurant were very clean but there was quite a lot of rubbish - plastic bottles and general rubbish, around the resort. Maybe need more bins? Or encourage guests to take their rubbish. Overall the staff were wonderful. Happy, cheerful and helpful. There were a couple of staff in the Lets See Bar who let the resort down. The lady and guy that ran the bar, the trips and the snorkel hire were quite miserable and not very accommodating. It seemed an effort for them to serve you and no smiles - like the staff in the rest of the resort. We hired snorkels for the day but in the afternoon we wanted to go for a walk and didn’t want to leave them lying around so we asked them if we could leave them at the bar and collect when we returned after a short walk, but they rolled their eyes at us and made it seem as if it was a huge effort - even though they did hold onto them for an hour in the end. Otherwise all staff were fabulous :)
This is the second time we have stayed at this resort and it does not disappoint. The views from the villas are amazing, the beach and pool are spectacular, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back!
Not the best resort by a mile
Be careful! Transfer from pier to hotel is by longboat, and they are not easy to board and inboard. Rooms/cabins are very basic. One roll of toilet paper per couple per day. Our room didn't get cleaned. We both became ill from the food, so be careful what you eat. Don't eat any chicken dish. Room information card disagreed with staff. WiFi was working only 20% of the time. We won't be back.
My room and the view from the room was awesome! The staff was so kind and accommodating my entire stay! Just a great place in a better location on the island. The complementary boat shuttle to and from the town marina was a huge perk!
Super friendly staffs, and the location is great as well. We snorkeled daily and saw lots of fishes. Will revisit for sure.
Out of this world views
The resort is beautifully situated at the end of the island right on Long Beach. Away from all the craziness of the main part of Phi Phi. Would highly recommend staying here. The view from our room was out of this world. The only downside is the walk to get up to the room we had which was in the last row. But it also might’ve been the best view of the entire resort. So the long trek up the stairs was totally worth it.
Location is really nice- quiet and secluded. You do have to take a water taxi back and forth to town. There is a awesome beach where you can snorkel. Waters are calm and clear. Rooms are cute and spacious. Huge deck in the villas. Wifi is spotty so make sure you have a sim card. Bring lots of cash for the island but many places do take credit card. There were mice in our room, feces on the bed during the day, several days in a row and in the shower area.(These villas are in the jungle bush on the side of the hill). Recommend you don't leave any food out in your rooms and lock your bags up and keep off the floor. The villas are on steep hills and with the water taxis, this resort would not be friendly for anyone with any sort of mobility issue as a heads up. Restaurant is ok, overpriced to others down the beach that you can walk to such as Paradise Pearl. Breakfast is included and has good food.
9/10
Had such a great time staying at this resort. The views from the bungalows don’t even feel real they are so breathtaking. Has everything you need and we didn’t leave except to take an excursion to Maya Bay which we were able to book with the resort (must do). Food is really good and reasonably priced. The massages offered were fantastic and also well priced. If you want to feel secluded and get out of the touristy chaos that Phi Phi is known for, definitely go here. Only reason that this isn’t a 10 is because the toilet room and shower in the bungalow are exposed thermally to the outside so going to the bathroom can be a bit muggy. Also there are fair amount of stray cats one of which that kept trying to get into our room which was a daily battle. Wouldn’t let that keep us from recommending this place or staying here again.
Unfortunately I didn’t have a working shower for a whole day and it wasn’t fixed until the following day. The staff wasn’t the friendliest At the resort or the restaurant, except for the maids who always made you feel welcomed. I think the island is tired of all the tourists honestly.
We were positioned in a room that adjoining rooms we being refurbished. From 740am every day the sound of hammers, tradesman and timbersaws operating reallydl destroyedmy piece and quite i hoped for .there were lots of spare rooms, cannot understand why they put us in middle of a work site
The views from our room were spectacular! On a great beach with great snorkeling and good dining options. Could be a bit of a hike up the hill but the bus boys were willing to drive us whenever we weren’t wanting to do the hike. The only negative is that there was loud music playing from 8-10pm each night that ruined some of the ambience we were expecting from being outside of town. Also good to note that the morning water taxi doesn’t always run starting at 7am due to low tides, so you may have to walk 40 minutes to town for early morning tours leaving from Ton Sai pier (the beach walk to town is very beautiful though, just ensure to allow extra time!).
Beautiful location, charming staff
The resort was amazing, views from the villas almost better than the photos showed. Staff all super friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Easy 5 min trip to get there from the pier where the ferry drops off. Long Beach has other bars and restaurants close by as well. Afternoon trip to Pileh Bay was amazing. Only thing to note is sea urchins in the sea close to the lovely beach but lots of signs warning people on this.
Definitely will come back! The views are breathtaking from the balconies. Bufffet breakfast was a 7 out of 10. Would be a 9 or 10 out of 10 if it included specialty coffees & an omelet station.
Gorgeous place - lovely staff
Nice resort further away from the busier backpacker place. The place would benefit from getting refurb a little bit in the room. But overall it was a great stay. Lovely staff, excellent dive center, a good place for a couple retreat.
Tired and the beach is dirty which is a shame Restaurant service is a bit of a joke
From the outside the property looks great but the reality is that it fails to do the most basic of requirements from a hotel, which is to, at a minimum, provide a comfortable bed. A complaint I heard from every guest, myself included, is that the mattresses are absolutely rock hard. I've literally slept on carpeted floors that are more comfortable. The mattress is so bad that it gave me back pain so much that I would wake up multiple times during the night. To make matters worse, they seem to not understand what comfort is and none of the wooden seats at the restaurant or even the hard plastic (and battered) sun loungers have any padding on them whatsoever. Plus, if you expect a peaceful beach, you're mistaken. Long tail boats fly by almost constantly creating a phenomenal noise, and when they weren't, the hotel was blasting out musical so the idea of enjoying a tranquil beach isn't possible at this venue. The one thing it has going for it is that the private section of ocean the property has cornered off is truly beautiful. It has an active coral with a whole array of tropical fish in water shallow enough to stand in. Feeling like your in a tropical fish tank is something I'll never forget.
Lovely location with an amazing beach. We stayed in a superior villa and the views were incredible. We would stay here again!
Nice, quiet place.
This is a lovely place. Not to big, not too small, just right. They offer rides to your room which might otherwise be a few flights of stairs up the hill. The restaurant was good, and the bar next door rented snorkel gear for cheap. They also had a fire dancers show in the evenings, which was fun. Compared to town, this place is nice and quiet. We saw a bunch of fish as we snorkeled in the swimming area. The one downside of this place is that you have to use a water taxi to get there and back. The hotel provides one on your arrival and departure, but it's 100 THB per person each way other than that. If you are leaving early in the morning for scuba diving in town, you have to make arrangements at the bar the day before, and it costs 200 THB per person at 06:00. Perhaps I should have used the Blacktip dive shop, which is on premises.
Very good
A place to wind down, relax and eat lots of good food, lovely white sandy beaches. Some Bungalows built on a mountain, so it’s a good uphill climb to the rooms…..good exercise. Excellent breakfast
Très bel hôtel de luxe. Personnel très sympathique et serviable.
Beautiful place with fantastic views next to an excellent white-sand beach. Attractive beach bar on the property.
Family hotel
We had lovely spacious rooms with great views over the sea. Good air con. Good breakfasts although the "hot" food was always cold. Average food from the restaurant compared to others we stayed at, but still perfectly nice, just not very special. Service was fantastic and it was great to able to eat right by the beach. The beach was great - busy but not too busy and you could snorkel and see fish right from the hotel. Careful of the coral - I kicked some when the sea got choppy and had to have stitches. We were wary about coming here as we'd read a lot of negative reviews about Phi Phi. However, it's a great hotel to stay at and you could happily spend a week here if your main focus is just to relax. The area around Tonsai pier is pretty tacky but if you want to go there for drinks or a restaurant or a change of scene you can walk there (30 minutes, including a bit of clambering up a steep slope to find the path) or get a longboat - this is 100 baht per person or 150 baht at night. Careful if you're on your own as they might make you wait until there are several people to take; we talked to one lady who had been waiting half an hour for some others to turn up. Overall we had a great time here, I thought it was good value and I would definitely recommend it.
Clean but stuff not friendly at all, stuff at bar not friendly and helpful at all , I ask is disappointed
Absolutely loved the resort and the beautiful beach, staff were great, in particular Sakai & Cherry who went over and above to make our stay extra special.
This resort is amazingly located on the beach. The rooms have great views. The restaurant on the beach is good too. We were a bit disappointed with the service though. While some of the staff were great, the rest seemed overworked and it felt they were doing us a favor on the most basic requests. On the other hand, the staff at the dive school are amazing.
This is our third time staying here and we absolutely love it. The facilities and view are fantastic.
Amazing location and facilities! The staff at the restaurant is a bit lazy (they are on their phone a lot instead of going to customers) but a part from that everything was flawless.
Really nice place, choose the villas with the sea view or up in the mountains so you can enjoy the beautiful view of Maya island from your terrace!
The views and beach are super nice but the hotel is so impractical since rooms are far from the beach. The room was clean but I saw big roches.
Great location and beautiful views. The beach is very swimmer friendly and it is a beautiful location. The staff is as accommodating as they can be. They give you anything you need with a large smile on their face.
Fabulous location for the beach. The rooms are in individual wooden huts located on a hillside facing the sea. It's a steep walk of 5 minutes to the beach, restaurant etc. This is not a concrete high rise glossy resort more a resort designed to blend with nature. Although a ' tourist area' it's very quiet at the moment and sadly not looking it's best as it's raining hard. Good inexpensive simple restaurant serving local and western food. Had a great massage!
It is a real paradise. The cabins are so beautiful and intimate, the beach is perfect, the meals are awesome and you can easily take a long tail boat to go to Tonsai beach. We even saw a turtle while scuba diving with the amazing Black Tip Scuba team (they are on the hotel site) and a shark, while snorkeling at the shark point in long beach itself. I would spend more than 2 days there next time. We didn't have time to visit all the islands around and regret not booking a longer stay here.
Amazing stay in Ko phi phi the tours were better than any on offer in the mainland and private offered on a x2persons basis with the option to add on additional pass for a reasonable price good quality resort with everything you would expect 2 pools and large spacious rooms with a smooth water taxi service - if you were here for an extended period food would become repetitive and you would need to venture into town (only ten mins) we didn’t have an issue doing this happy hour was a welcome bonus staff and room were great amazing beaches thanks for everything so accommodating xxx
The property is well hidden away, right on the beach, forcing us to hike through the beautiful jungles and beaches of Phi Phi just to get to town, it was wonderful.
This resort is perfect for relaxation. It is away from the main town, but not too far. I hiked one day to get to town. It took me about 30-40 minutes but I did take my time and stopped at one of the beaches on the way to take photos. The hike should only take 20 minutes. The resort also has free boat transfer from Tonsai pier to the resort, both arrival and departure. Otherwise, you can pay 200 baht for boat taxi to get to town. There is an on-site restaurant which serves free breakfast buffet. The food are great.
The individualistic room design gives a very unique feel, adding to that, the interior is all made of wood
For the rooms, the walls were paper thin and when we asked to move rooms they purposely moved us farther away from the beach. The bed was hard and full of sand. The wifi didn’t work whatsoever. The restaurants were overpriced but not bad. On a positive note, it sits right on the most beautiful beach on the main island, the view from our balcony was amazing and the beach was almost empty and incredible. The hotel also offered shuttles to your room but not from the room to the main area. They also offered free longtail boats to the pier. Overall it was an ok stay here but apart from the amazing beach I wouldn’t come back.
Nice , wonderful, excellent. you do have to shuttle to town . And it is walkable but some areas of walking are dense and mosquitoes. So it’s totally worth not walking and taking boat taxi
Hotel Management inexistent.
Great stay
This is the second time I've stayed at this resort. I travel a fair bit, and this is one of my favorite places to stay anywhere. The views are gorgeous, swimming on the beach is very good, the pools are nice, and I love the rooms (I stayed in a partial ocean view villa, which actually had a great, full, ocean view), which are large, comfortable, have great views, and are very private. The staff is excellent, the buffet breakfast is really good, and the food at the resort is good and reasonably priced. I really recommend snorkeling or scuba-big at Phi Phi Le and Maya Bay
Glad we stayed here.
Overall happy with our experience here, especially when seeing some of the other options. Glad we stayed on Long Beach and the property overall was beautiful— definitely worth getting a room with at least a partial ocean view. Very much appreciated the pier transfer and easy access to taxis to go to town, but not walkable if that’s a priority for you. Glad they had a tour/excursion booking service on site and front desk staff was helpful. The rooms could use some updating and the bed was a little hard and needed more than one pillow per person, and the food on-site was only okay in our opinion. The island overall is fairly modest so it did seem like one of the nicer places to stay and would recommend, especially if you’re committed to just relaxing beach time and don’t want to break the bank.
Beautiful Phi Phi
We loved our stay at Phi Phi. The beach was lovely, our room was spacious with a stunning view and we also had delicious dinners with the fresh fish chosen on ice and cooked to perfection. Happy hours made the sunsets even greater. Highly recommend!
Loved it!
We went to Phi Phi beach resort on our honeymoon. It was so beautiful and the staff was so nice! Pataya set up a beautiful romantic dinner for us. We will always remember. Highly recommend!
Beautiful beach resort
The staff was super polite and helpful at all times! I strongly recommend this hotel for its location (amazing beach!), cleanliness and for their hospitality. Only improvements I could think of is the Wi-Fi connection in the rooms up the hill and in the bar/restaurant area. Fire shows were a great addition to the experience!
Great Snorkeling Right Off the Beach + Great Staff
If you like to snorkel right off the beach, then this is the place to stay on Koh Phi Phi. Just a few feet out, you'll see beautiful coral and lots of fish. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very cosy. The breakfast (included in my rate) was excellent. I've been having dinners here also, and they've been great. The hotel has catered to my vegetarian needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained. If you like taking pictures of nature, both in the water and out, this is a great place to do it. I saw some comments that this place might be difficult for older people who have difficulty with stairs. There ARE cottages near the beach and the reception that do NOT require significant stair climbing, so, if you're older, like me, you can ask for one of these. The place looks just as beautiful as in their pictures.
The beach was gorgeous and awesome, they hooked us up with some great services for a longboat day trip. Cherry (one of our servers) was awesome and so kind. They were quick to help us and all very nice. The room was also really nice too. LOVED the views. oh and the food at the resort was really good
This was our experience ......
Just returned from our fourth stay at the resort and planning the next when the pandemic is over. As always the staff are superb, nothing is too much trouble and problems are resolved promptly.
Really lovely holiday but would have loved cushioning on plastic sunbeds. Mattress on bed felt a bit dated and wasn’t the most comfortable. Everything else was fab. Despite these comments we would definitely go to this resort again.
This is our second time in two years staying here and we loved coming back. The view and the beach are fantastic.
The rooms were very unique, making you feel like you had your own special piece of paradise. The pools were very small
The property offered no wow, the location and stunning views are the wow. A little bit more attention to detail required like raking the beach of sharp shells and stones would help, rooms are standard everything worked as it should
Only thing good was the view from our room and great snorkeling in front of our hotel.
Spend your hard earned money somewhere else
The beach itself is absolutely beautiful. However, this is the only place I've visited in Thailand that brings confusion to the slogan "Land of a Thousand Smiles". Service was subpar and you could tell no one enjoyed working there. At times the staff was rather rude. Rooms were cleaned every day but for a resort of this price I wouldn't expect empty water bottles from the person before still laying in the closet as well as used laundry tags. WIFI works about 20% of the time by the reception only. NYE show was awful, we just ate and got out of there as fast as possible. You can tell every cost was spared. A/C barely works and we met some other people who's A/C did not work at all and they paid 500/night.
Amazing
Absolutely amazing! Five start hotel. So happy with all the service & great location.
Right on the beach and snorkelling at this beach is great.... will visit again
We traveled as a family with 2 kids (14 & 23 yo) Nov 25-29.This property is amazing, more than we expected! We had a full sea view and it was totally worth it. Low tides do not affect this property much. The views are breathtaking! The beds were a little hard but we didn't mind it. We had about 100 steps of stairs to our cottage but we were looking forward to this exercise (you can also ask for a golf cart escort to your room). The beach and gardens are absolutely beautiful, water is crystal clear with fish swimming next to you. Food at the hotel was great & not expensive. There are other restaurants nearby as well. Fire show was fun! We rented a private longtail boat twice around the islands and loved every minute of it (not expensive, around 3,400 baht for 4 people for 5-6 hours). We did daily Massages (400 baht) and enjoyed it very much. A transfer from the Tonsai pier to the hotel was included however it has to be either at 8am or 1pm which is not convenient on the way back (we had to pay out of pocket). We are definitely coming back to this hotel and would highly recommend it!
Amazing stay
An amazing hotel in a very good location. Good for honeymooners, family and couples visiting Ko Phi Phi. We got a really nice room with a great view on top of the hill, breakfast is good, the restaurant located at the hotel has a lot of good food options and the pool is also nice. It's only 10 minutes to the "city center" by boat for 100 bahts during day time or 150 bahts after that until midnight. If you're looking into party in Ko Phi Phi, I'd recommend u to stay somewhere in the city center as after midnight you're not gonna be able to make it back to the hotel unless you're ok with walking a long distance back or paying way more money for a boat ride if you're lucky enough to find one available. Overall an amazing place to stay and make sure you bring some insect repellent with you :)
Beautiful resort
The resort was nestled in the most beautiful place. The beach and all 3 pools were easy to access. Our bungalow was located on the higher side of the resort but getting there was no problem and the view was spectacular. They provide free transport to and from the pier as well as help with luggage since the steep walk can be some what difficult. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, both of which were very good. We would definitely recommend this place!
It’s tucked away and quiet, but still offers lots to do. Can take the longtail boats into town or hike about 30 minutes over difficult terrain. Would recommend doing the viewpoint walk, but it is a trek through some of the poor areas - be sure to take some money to get to see the view.
View from our room was amazing. Definitely recommend a room with a sea view
They don't make up your room daily, and we didn't have any coffee/ tea in the room. But compared to other hotels in the area, this place is nice and clean, and right across from airport.
We loved this hotel. The beach it's in is fantastic and the amenities are really nice. You're surrounded by jungle everywhere and get great views. Be aware that to get in and out of the hotel you have to pay for a boat taxi which can cost anywhere between $3USD - $7USD per person. Still worth it to get to this nicer and less crowded beach.
they were renovating so it was very noisy and not very beautiful... furthermore, we took the cheap room and it was very pricey for its old condition.
We booked a package for 21days and we loved every day.We are not youngsters and this lsland/ resort gave us all what we needed and more. The room was in a perfect position for us and was cleaned every day.The staff were like family to us.Breakfast was excellent and waiting staff were always at hand. We would recommend this resort to anyone *****
Excellent location, 5 mins (100baht) boat ride around the point from town which gets you away from the hustle of town. Bar and beach is great. Included breakfast was fantastic. Could not fault the hotel. Also looked like the pick of the hotels on the water that we saw.
3 days at Phi Phi Island
Amazing view! Excellent customer service!
Amazing property, friendly staff.
This is an amazing hotel, the staff is friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean. AC was cold, linens were clean. Upon arriving at the pier the staff is waiting for you and they escort you to the longboat and take you to the hotel. Checking was a breeze, we were greeted with a delicious red juice. Breakfast was great, omelet station included. Enough options for my vegan wife. There is free water, soda and snacks in your room, no alcohol. Only con would be the location. If you are REALLY on a budget then you will not like to pay 100-150 pp each way to the pier, everytime you want to go explore although if you think about it is a very small fee. It is a 45 minute hike to get from the pier to the hotel and if you’re coming back really late the water taxi will probably charge much more as the tide can get high at night and taxis don’t go all the way to the hotel’s dock. My room was right next to the beach so I can’t speak about the other rooms. SNORKEL is AMAZING and you get the benefit of having a beautiful private beach.
Phi Phi The Beach Resort | Hotel in Ko Phi Phi | Travala.com
We loved it here, it’s in the quieter area of phi phi but a short boat ride to Ton Sai Pier if you want the party! It had a great little beach area and a section of the sea cordoned off for swimming and snorkelling where lots of different fish can be seen. There’s also an onsite dive company for those who want to do some diving. Breakfast is really good, a whole range of options to suit everyone. There is a really good restaurant next door called Nay Hying Restaurant (think it’s part of the PP Mountain Resort) great relaxed setting, nice staff and lovely food. We stayed in a partial sea view villa - the view was amazing and more like a full sea view apart from the odd tree obscuring it, it was in the highest part of the resort, whilst this gave us the great view it was a bit of a trek and all up a steep hill! The hotel were good at dropping you off though if you asked. We had a great couple of days here, would highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing visit to phi phi.
