I can’t say enough great things about this hotel and the incredible team that works there. Our time in Hanoi was amazing, but staying here made the trip even more special. The staff went above and beyond in every possible way—so welcoming, thoughtful, and accommodating. Even the things we didn’t think to ask for, they already had covered. Thank you to everyone—from the reception team to the lovely tour with Lucy, and the warm breakfast experience with Rose for giving us great advise on where to go locally and what to try. You all made us feel like part of your day, and for that, we’re truly grateful

We had an absolute incredible time. The property was gorgeous. The service was top-notch. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in all areas. We had a wonderful time sitting upstairs in the Sky bar. The bartenders have a craft that is off the charts. Recommend this place hotel it hit 10 out of 10

Great place! We spent 3 weeks in SE Asia and this was our last stop. Great location in Old Quarter!

Excellent hotel in a central location close to all the tourist attractions. While the hotel is in the busy old quarter the hotel is set back from the road providing a quiet oasis. During the day you can hear scooters honking but at night it quiets down. Breakfast was a very large buffet with western and Asian selections with freshly cooked eggs. We had dinner one night in the basement restaurant and it was excellent. The flaming prawns were amazing!

Walkable to many restaurants and shopping. Narrow roads for tour bus pick up.

We had a good stay at the Peridot Grand. The staff were very helpful and friendly, everyone spoke good English where it was difficult in some other hotels we stayed in Vietnam. The room was nice but a few problems, the view from one of the windows was a brick wall about 0.5m from the window. The balcony again was not nice, a view of the rubbish and discarded waste. The bathroom was open plan next to the bedroom so if you used it during the nice it was like putting a spotlight on in the room. Other than that it has a great central location in the old quarter and the roof top bar was vibrant and fun.

Beautiful with great food; Interesting location.

Beautiful room and lobby, delicious/ breakfast buffet with everything you could think of. In the middle of Old Town Hanoi, which is an interesting experience, but would not recommend to go directly from the hotel if you are a wheel chair user or have little kids. In that case would recommend cab directly to and from hotel or stay in French Quarter. Old Town is busy with many cars and even more scooters, and basically no traffic lights. Fun, but interesting to get used to. Many street vendors and little shops.

We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. Very convenient position for the old town of Hanoi. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast buffet was good.

Located in a very chaotic area.

I have stayed at many properties across Vietnam, including Western hotels from the biggest chains. Peridot Grand is an exceptional and unique experience. While being right in the heart of old Hanoi, it is somehow nestled behind some buildings and above the fray. So at the same time it is in the middle of everything, while being serene. Beginning with the check-in experience all the way through our stay, the service was exceptional. Add to that several dining options, including the amazingly appointed rooftop restaurant adjacent to the infinity pool. The decor throughout the hotel is elaborate and wonderful. Highly recommended!!

The hotel appeared new and well maintained. The staffs are excellent and the breakfast selection is great. Despite its location inside the old quarters, it is surprisingly quiet.

Hotel was in a great area and very walkable. Everyone on the staff was very nice and helpful. The skybar is stunning. We had a great stay.

It was fantastic. The staff bent over backwards to make sure everything was to our liking. The rooftop bar was a highlight! Definitely spend an evening up there for drinks or appetizers.

Great stay at the Peridot. Our first room for one night was on the small side but the suite on the second night was wonderful. Both well appointed and beautiful though. The location was fantastic and staff were great. Would recommend The Peridot for sure if your travels bring you to Hanoi.

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful decor, quiet space, great location and wonderful staff. This is a great respite from the busy Hanoi old town streets. Allows you to have it both ways.

Great boutique hotel in great location.

Great location & nice hotel.

It was a lovely hotel although very hard to find from the outside. It was down a narrow entrance way. Breakfast was great, the room service food we ordered was delicious & our room was spacious (suite). The hotel was situated right in the middle of the old town. Very hectic but I didn’t notice any outside noise. Easy walking distance to a number of key sites. A pet peeve - no luggage racks for suitcases. Absolutely no view - we kept the curtains closed so we didn’t have to look at dirty rooftops & scaffolding. I’d stay here again.

This was a beautiful place to get away from the chaos of Hanoi but still be in the center of the action. Everyone was so helpful and kind. Loved the Skybar!

As a former hotel developer, I love the way this property was ticked in off the busy street down a long ornate passage way. The design touches werre excellent in drssing up a hotel built in tight quarters, and you can tell from the street it is high end. The rooftop bar,which is a common amenity in several Hanoi hotels, is a cut above the rest and Thanh Tien was an excellent host! They even have a rooftop pool with amazing views, not a common amenity for well located hotels in the old quarter. It is kept cool and is probably a welcome amenity in hotter months. The hotel is super walkable and train street is a couple of blocks away, depending on which point of access yu are looking for. You can watch the occasional trains passing from the roof top deck. I stayed in this hotel my last two nights in Vietnam and was a high end way to spend the trip. The staff were excellent, (Especially JULIE, who was intouch with me via Whats App to provide local dining and services recommendations throughout my stay! She was awesome!) as in many hotel in Vietnam, but she reall went above and beyond with great recommendations. I was travelling solo, so that was super helpful.

One of the nicest hotel arond the area, rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety and changes menu everyday. Staff were really pleasant and helpful including their tour coordinator .

Everything we wanted to explore was just a short walk away. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to Roachelle (apologies if I’ve misspelled her name), who was especially welcoming and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Hanoi with top-notch service and a perfect location, this is the place to be. We’ll absolutely be returning!

Mr. Long and his staff made this stay a wonderful experience. The hotel staff was extremely professionally and friendly. The rooms are beautiful with a stunning lobby. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the location was so convenient to everything.

Elegant Hotel with Excellent Service

Mr. Long was amazing. He took care of my mom went she was sick from food poisoning from eating street food. The rooms were elegant. The breakfast buffet was next level. The location is close by so many coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. Highly recommend. Top notch facility. The staff were excellent.

The outside and surrounding areas don't tell the whole story. Inside the hotel is gorgeous. The staff service is great. Recommend it.

Luxury and comfort in a chaotic city

We are very happy with our selection of the Peridot hotel. Hanoi is a bustling chaotic city and it was always nice to escape the pollution and noise when entering the hotel. The concierge service was great, the breakfast was amazing and the room was comfortable. I also recommend the rooftop pool and bar. If it wasn't so smoggy during our stay, we would have spent more time up there!

Great place, would certainly stay here again. They offer a convenient pick-up and drop-off service to the airport (at a reasonable price), hotel is well located, is clean, and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. The spa, also reasonably priced (at least compared to home, albeit more expensive than other smaller places around), was a huge plus as well. Highly recommend.

One of the best hotels in Hanoi. It is positioned well in the middle of the old quarter. All the staff were really kind and the spa and breakfast were excellent.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the city close to shops, restaurants and cafes. There’s a good fish restaurant straight across the hotel. Magnificent architecture in French contemporary style and lots of nice furniture and beautiful details.

The hotel was perfect .... except the WIFI. The connexion was weak everywhere in the hotel. I asked other guest and they had the same problem. Thank god I wasn't there to work because the connexion was unstable in the room, the roof and the breakfast place. Except the terrible WIFI, the staff was amazing! The hotel is great. Nice gym ! Amazing location.

Really nice hotel in Centre of the old town - staff are friendly and helpful and facilities are great. Close to many Restaurants and Bars and shopping. It was a little noisy in the morning but overall a great staff.

Our stay at the Peridot was incredible! The property is right in the center of the Historic Old Town of Hanoi. Everything is easily walkable around. The property and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Tra from the Spa made our trip extra special with the loveliest of conversation and hospitality! Can’t recommend the Peridot more

Amazing hotel. Wonderful staff, incredibly comfortable accommodations. The best hotel we stayed in Hanoi. Great location for exploring the Old Quarter. Would recommend the hotel organized airport pickup (good and safe driver). Breakfast was included and had a wide range of delicious food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peridot Grand Hotel. It's in an exceptional location in the heart of Hanoi but set back from the street so it's a peaceful and relaxing refuge from the bustle of the city centre. The breakfast was exceptional and set us up for a day of sightseeing! Staff were very kind and helpful. The room itself was clean and modern with a very comfy bed. There's a gorgeous pool and if it's raining the spa inside is a wonderful refuge. We enjoyed the rooftop bar with live music (although a little expensive this is to be expected). If we come back to Hanoi in the future we would book this hotel again without hesitation.

Lovely stay and the best hospitality!! We loved our stay - the staff was so kind and considerate and very warm and welcoming of our super energetic 4 year old! The property is also a beautiful gem nestled in a busy area.

The Peridot is located in a highly convenient location of Hanoi. It is extremely easy to go on day trips and excursions. We had a wonderful experience thanks to Alina, Guest Relations Manager. She ensured we had a specially wonderful experience. Moreover the bell boy staff, room service and housekeeping staff is exceptional and provided us with wonderful service and answered all our questions.

Stunning hotel; great service in a great location

We had a beautiful one bedroom suite at the Peridot Grand. Yes, it is a luxury hotel. The entrance is grand and the lobby has beautiful decor. There are 4 reception desks so checking in and out was quick. Our room was spacious with a gorgeous marble bathroom. We loved the rooftop Skybar with an incredible view and great drinks. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of Western and Asian options. The hotel is very centrally located in the old Quarter of Hanoi and we walked everywhere. We highly recommend staying here!

A five star rated hotel must have better English speaking reception staff to be able to warmly receive tourists. A friend of mine already told us to cancel our booking at this hotel. I regretted going ahead with this hotel.

AMAZING!!! The staff here are absolutely incredible! The food is some of the best food I’ve ever had. The spa is renowned and the rooftop bar is bumping at night!!

The hotel was celebrating 2 years of being open during our stay and due to this areas were unavailable with no prior warning. One afternoon we lay by the pool while they hammered drilled and painted around us. Not very relaxing. They shut off the roof bar one night for an event which was one of the reasons we chose the hotel.

Fabulous luxury. We were welcomed with a fruit drink snd dried fruits while seated in cushy armchairs for registration in a spacious grand reception area/lobby with high ceilings and chandeliers. No standing in line at all. Our ninth floor deluxe room had a most comfortable bed and fluffy huge pillows. Marble surrounded most of the bathroom accented with tile and natural light filtered through a glass window with shades. Breakfast offerings were extensive and delicious ranging from croissants to pho soup. Yes, a chocolate fountain flowed in the corner. The rooftop restaurant, infinity pool and Ignite bar had tremdous views of the city. Reception staff, Ann and Linh provided excellent assistance in shipping a package overseas in a timely fashion. All the staff members from housekeeping and concierge to bell staff, wait persons and food service staff were gracious, attentive and helpful. Indeed, we must return.

The stay here is excellent. For sure we would love to come back again.

A lovely home away from home.

Staff was amazing, each and every single person we met was polite, attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our room was spacious, the bed and pillows were glorious! Breakfast selection was plentiful and delicious. Location was good and though in a busy area, we couldn’t hear any noise in our room. Very nice lobby and bar, welcome drinks and a towel was very much welcomed and needed. Learned about Vietnamese gin at the bar which was a nice treat. Little touches are missing such as lotion in communal restrooms (i.e., bar, spa, etc) which you would expect to find in luxury restaurants, hotels, etc. Hotel could be more eco-friendly and move away from little plastic bottles of amenities. Looked under the mini bar for my car which fell and discovered it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time and found peanuts, a spray bottle, disposed contact lenses, and few centimeters of dust. Disappointing but easily fixable and I wouldn’t write this place off. I made the front desk aware and they were horrified and very apologetic. I very much think this will be rectified immediately with the room cleaned, other rooms inspected to ensure they are clean, and staff spoken to, training reinforced. Overall I do recommend.

Great honeymoon experience

The hotel prepared a honeymoon decoration before our arrival which was a very special gesture from them, we also recommend the Spa, it was a great experience. Hotel location is great and the restaurant on the 10th floor is also very good, a must try.

Our stay at the Peridot Grand Luxury Boutique Hotel was simply amazing. Right from the start, we were greeted by Phi Long, who helped ensure our check in process was smooth. He was very accommodating and very helpful. He went above and beyond to give us information and his personal recommendations. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The spa was also very relaxing. The staff member, Tra Pham, was so friendly and made us feel so welcomed. The food was also delicious. The service is top notch. Special shout-out to Annie Nguyen for treating us so kindly. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Can not find fault!!

Loved everything about this hotel. The service received was over and beyond, the staff couldn’t do enough for you. They were very attentive at all times. After breakfast they escorted you to the lift and took the time to ask about your plans for the day as they saw you off. We were allowed to store our luggage as we were going on a halong bay cruise for two days, on our return we were told we could use the shower facilities and swimming pool at no extra cost. Our luggage was taken to the spa area ready for us. This hotel and service is of an extremely high standard.
