Nice room.
The stay and the room was good except we couldn’t get the tv working in the bedroom. Someone came down from reception and couldn’t fix it. He said he would come back with champagne for the inconvenience but never came back.
Love Peppers it is always nice and quiet, however we do only ever go during off season so may be different during peak periods. Recommend the spa room they are great.
Staff seemed uninterested and bored. Check in staff was ordinary and unhelpful at best., Pool bar staff were a bit better but overall not a usual experience you would expect from a peppers resort
Great family vacation
Great space in 2 bedroom apartments. Amazing pool. Great location for walking everywhere
Great place to stay. Had one bedroom penthouse suite which was more than expected and offered everything you need got a great stay. Staff were simply wonderful and always helpful. Can’t fault Peppers Port Douglas.
The cleaning was excellent servicing rooms daily happy staff
Great location clean and fairly modern. Limited dining options however close enough to the town centre that this isn’t a problem
Had a great stay at Peppers last month!! Staff were exceptional - attentive to all of our questions and needs and they went out of their way to help mail us something important we had left behind. Room was lovely, pool was fabulous, location was super convenient - highly recommend!
Staff were great, willing to assist you at any time
Dirty sheets on arrival and spa bath the water coming out of the jets was green very overprice for what you get
Peppers in situ hotel beach was a nice feature. The position was ideally close to public beach and town centre.
Great place.
Great place, perfect location, brilliant pool
Great location near the centre of Port Douglas. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, beach. Facilities were very good and the pool area was amazing.
Not up to standard
3 flights of stairs to room and no other option at 2pm checkin Bag took 40 mins to be delivered Coffe with breakfast is undrinkable and want to charge for espresso Have to remind them your room hasn’t been serviced at 2.30 pm then another hour wait
It was a lovely holiday
Beware this property does not have elevators to all rooms, so if stairs prove to be a challenge request first floor room. That said, we stayed in a one bedroom suite, it was gorgeous. full kitchen, lovely bath. View of the gorgeous lagoon pool. We cooked in the room and went out for dinners, so unable to comment on the restaurant at hotel. Great easy location.
The room was modern, clean, quiet with all the amenities I could require. I didn’t need to sleep in, otherwise the lack of black out curtains may have been an issue and the option to use streaming services may have been nice, but not essential. It was an easy 8 minute walk to a lot of nice restaurants. Only a short walk to four mile beach. The staff were very friendly on arrival. No complaints from me.
We stayed for one night weren’t offered a upgrade The iron in the room had been dropped and the bottom was cracked so couldn’t put water to steam iron my linen cloths The shutters had come off it’s runners and couldn’t close for privacy
Great and friendly staff
Fabulous, will stay again.
Had a great stay at Peppers Beach Club. The resort is located right by the main part of town where all the food and shopping is located. The Lagoon style pool is fantastic
i was happy with the service. i was unhappy as i had requested a room with a good view (ie over the pool) as it was a special occasion, the booking was made months ago, and we got view over the street. happy with the room, very disappointing with the view/ location of the room.
Nice location in Port Douglas
Very close to four mile beach, lovely location in Port Douglas. Excellent swimming pool and nice, good sized room. Breakfast was great in the morning with a good amount of options and went on until 10.30am. Sound proofing was poor and could hear guests in the corridors and the rooms next door. Hot tub on balcony was nice but did not work very well.
Lovely place to stay. Staff were exceptional. Made every thing easy. Thank you!
This was our first stay and it was comfortable for a short stay. The room was large with a good size balcony that overlooked the pool. The rooms were sparse with no cushions on any of the furniture which was a dissapointment considering the rating. The hotel in general was tired in places and our balcony paintwork was dirty and needed a good clean. There is good underground onsite parking and access to the beach or central shops are only a very short walk away. There was no lift to the top 3rd floor so you have to use stairs if you have these rooms.
Great location - easy access to nearby facilities- great pool area. Helpful and friendly staff. Accommodation very pleasant
Koko restaurant dining was expensive, tasteless and servings were tiny. Pool was amazing, rooms and premises smelt moldy. Lift was broken so it meant lots of stairs which was difficult with baby pram and luggage. Definitely a relaxing place to stay, just let down by the restaurant mostly.
Lovely stay
Beautiful property and grounds. Our ground floor delux one bed suite was so spacious, with a little gate leading direct to the gardens. The pool area is a total wow and a lot bigger than I thought it looked on photos. The water gets plenty deep enough to swim. Free parking underneath the building. There was a cafe round the corner near the beach which I used for breakfast. Would definitely stay here if visiting again.
One of the best pools in Port Douglas. Facilities great Cafe great. Staff great. They need to remember to re fill bottles of hand wash etc. in bathroom though .
Nice property friendly and helpful staff we will definitely be back
Had a great time, the breakfast was delicious and the staff super friendly. Will definitely come back.
Absolutely beautiful
Close to town, beautiful rooms, clean and tidy. Would highly recommend. All made better by lovely staff. Will definitely be back
Great spot
Lovely hotel with a spacious one bedroom apartment. Pool was great, tropical gardens stunning, and a very convenient location close to four mile beach and the main street of Port Douglas
Not really a 5 star hotel. Room service finishes at 8.30pm. Noisy rooms from upstairs neighbours moving chairs. Not much privacy on the balcony. Receptionist very pleasant and helpful. Limited dining area. Gym very disappointing, small and very basic. Kids really loud at 7am. Not very relaxing if you’re a couple on holiday without children. Pleasant enough but won’t return. Close to the beach which was a bonus.
Good all round
Overall a nice spot to spend a few days. Easy access to the main part of town.
Peppers is very conveniently located to the town of pt Douglas and 2 blocks from 4 mile beach. The staff is very nice and the entire property is spotless. Landscaping lush and great tropics vibe. My only two complaints are the noise from the road (peppers is on main traffic street and property not set back) and the food at restaurant. Not good. Left our only meal mostly uneaten. Otherwise, wonderful stay.
Beautiful place to stay which was walking distance to everything. Great location. Safe and staff very friendly.
Great property. We had a family holiday here. Our only issue was with how the hotel deals with Accor Plus members & the discount. You need to get it applied each & every time you order, rather than having it dealt with at the end of your stay. This is not easy when ordering by the pool with the app.
Beautiful hotel in a great location close to town. Pool was amazing, however unfortunately the cocktails were not up to standard. Very clean, and staff were helpful. Popular hotel for families
Beautiful property, unfortunately our room overlooked a caravan park rather than the beautiful resort
Very close to beach
Peppers very close to beach for swimming and walking 100m in fact if you like swimming in the sea like us, there is a good pool at hotel. Staff very good and apartments have everything you need including washing machines that some apartments don’t. Peppers only short walk to macrosson st where the cafe and eating places are as well as supermarket and shops, up the end further is the marina for the reef tours and markets. Not overly cheap but very convenient place to stay as you do not need to drive to get somewhere. Also free parking available underneath in basement. Very happy with stay.
Beautiful lagoon style pool to come back to after a walk and hang out .
From the moment we checked in everything was exceptionally organised, the reception staff were friendly, the room staff were lovely and restaurant staff were fantastic.
The super helpful staff was so accommodating and friendly. Helped plan our adventures while there.
Housekeeping was excellent and the suite was perfect worth the extra dollars for the space an so handy being able to walk to shops cafe and marina hope to return
Solid resort
Beautiful honeymoon
Loved every second of our time here! Located just off the main strip, it's so convenient to all the bars and restaurants. All the staff we encountered were wonderful. The room was clean and modern, with housekeeping refreshing it beautifully every day. The breakfast was super tasty. The lagoon pool was divine, where you can order food and drink via a QR code on your pool lounger, and the resort kindly supplies floaties and sand toys for guests to enjoy - a very thoughtful touch! The pool is also a beautiful temperature, so can be enjoyed even on cloudy days. We had a Spa Suite and enjoyed a spa bath on the balcony 2 of our 4 nights, while watching the pouring rain with a glass of wine. Cannot recommend this place more highly - thank you Peppers Beach Club!
The Pool was perfect, we are a couple in our mid 60s however lots of young couples with babys also here, reteraunt was well located adjacent the pool reasonable prices. aslo good for breakfast.
Spacious and comfortable rooms
Location was great. Nice walk to main area. Hotel was spacious and clean. Love the pool. We got the room with a spa in the balcony but never needed to use it as pool was at a comfortable temperature.
The property is neat, clean, and tidy but I would not rate it as a fancy resort. The restaraunt and bar closes at 8.30pm so you need to go out for any drinks or food after that. The site is quite small as are the rooms. Staff are fairly new and inexperience (but this is with most properties in hospitality atm). The location is close to the beach and walking distance to most areas in Port Douglas. Nice place to stay but I felt it was overpriced and over sold.
Peppers is a lovely place great service great pool just needs work on breakfast options
Was not worth the money at all, had a number of issues
Loved the pool. Rooms are getting a little tired.
Great property, location and staff. Would say the breakfast could be improved a little, but otherwise really happy with the place.
Great location, easy walk to main street. Staff all helpful and friendly. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy ourselves. Could use Netflix or some other movie channel option. Also card access to rooms instead of keys would be less clunky. Did get bored with the breakfast menu after a week, no buffet so ordering off the same menu. Pool is amazing. A pleasant stay ….
The property was stunning! I was so sad to leave! Staff was amazing and super accommodating
The building itself is impressive and the pool area a standout. Improvements that can be made:- - include mini bar in bedroom. Feels like a huge miss and lacks convenience for those staying - food generally, average. Breakfast an absolute rip off and overalls everything was lacking in flavour. Had the ingredients but all very bland and unmemorable. - provide guests with unbrellas. The fact you have to walk to reception in the rain to get an umbrella highlights the need and lack of convenience in the set up here. - security doors - these would be fine if but when your neighbour has no disregard for shutting the door quietly behind them - disruptive - towels - give guests more towels. Not enough - Flattern sand around the pool. Deck chairs on a slant so was the tables.. means you can’t actually use the tables for drinks and food as sliding off everywhere
I thought the property was great. The breakfast and koko fantastic. I think the checkout staff could improve, there was not one thank you for staying with us or how was your stay. Could be friendlier
Fantastic location Easy parking Pool area was superb The only down side was the endless stairs to our apartment and no lift to access room with luggage
The property is very clean and comfortable … most staff were friendly but the older lady on check in I was very rude and unfriendly …whilst the pool is large there was no where near enough lounges and shade was poor .. the studio spa suites are quite small
From the time we checked-in with Alana, to the time we checked out, we just had a wonderful time at Pepper's! The pool temperature was amazing and the accommodation was clean and comfortable! Very nice location, we were able to walk to the Sunday markets in 10 minutes! Truly wonderful time with great staff! Highly recommended!
Loved our stay, breakfast and staff fantastic. Just the room was a bit shabby, rug was worn and dirty and dusty. Feedback given.
We’ll be back. This resort is gorgeous and intimate, perfect for couples. Staff were so friendly. Food and drink quality was exceptional.
Excellent pool with all rooms overlooking the pool. Room was spacious and had 2 bedrooms, lounge area and kitchen. Also a BBQ on the balcony with table and chairs. Room was cleaned daily. Great location - 5 minute walk to Macrossan Street, the Marina and 4 mile beach. Koko restaurant was great (only ate their once) and food was very nice and reasonably priced.
Can’t wait to come back! Nice modern and clean room in a great location close to the main street and four mile beach.
Relaxed atmosphere. Close to Macrossan St. Amazing pool ground floor access. Will be back!
Excellent hotel in agreat location.
Nice hotel but not 5 star service
Hi, great location and lovely, comfortable and clean room. Service in the restaurant was pretty average and not 5 star as expected. Nice pool area and reception were helpful.
Lovely staff. Pleasant environment. Breakfast options should vary not everyone wants a two course breakfast.
Loved everything about this stay! The room Was cleaned/new towels linen everyday, easy accessible to the pool, staff were friendly, easy quick walk into town, would 10/10 recommend!!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Peppers beach club. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and bed was comfy. Staff are very much on top of covid cleaning, the only suggestion I can make there is they need hand sanitisers at the lift. Pool area is very nice but the service and the drinks from the “swim up bar” was a bit disappointing. Cocktails tasted very watered down and it would have been nice if the staff asked customers if they would like another drink instead of standing behind the bar talking about their private lives. We would have spent a lot more there if the drinks were good and the staff looked after their customers. Overall though we had a lovely stay and would come back again.
Great place to stay. The apartment was a good size although I felt like the lounge furniture was a bit big for the room and one of the armchairs blocked the balcony door which if I was staying longer I would’ve moved over. The kitchen was well equipped, it would’ve been nice to have some bottled water available however. The bathroom was nice, there was some mould in the grout of the shower although I’m not sure whether this would be solved with better ventilation/extraction fan as there didn’t seem to be any fan to suck out the steam. Beds were comfy. Staff were amazing. Really lovely. The food in the restaurant was great. Pool was fantastic. Location was perfect, walking distance to the Main Street and restaurants. Would stay again :)
The private swim out room was fabulous. The feeling of being locked away in a private resort but only minutes from town
Overall a good hotel but shame they couldn't even supply a bottle of water (or a jug !) in the bedroom. Also no full menus available in the room, and internet very bad (smart TV useless to watch movies)
Port Douglas gem
We were so surprised by the size & comfort of our room, in a really good way! Our 1 bedroom apartment (#212) had a lovely outlook over the lagoon pool on the beach/sandy side. We loved the space of our apartment, the fully kitted out kitchen, laundry room, spacious bedroom with adjoining private area, large balcony with built in BBQ. The location of the resort allows guests to easily walk to the main street of Port Douglas as well as 4 Mile Beach & Flagstaff Hill. We wish we could have stayed longer!! Will definately be going back for a longer stay in early 2021!!
We loved our stay at Peppers and would definitely stay there again. The room was lovely and we appreciated all the space our 1 bedroom apartment offered, plus the two balconies overlooking the stunning pool. The staff were really friendly as were the other guests. It’s an easy walk to Macrossan St for meals and shopping. Overall, a great place to stay!
Beautiful pool
Our ground floor suite room was on the beach side of the pool. The sand pool is amazing and beautifully lit at night. The local meal deal on the Monday night with a singer was excellent.
There was a great pool, close to restaurants, spacious rooms. Bar had limited opening hours. Shower was available after checkout.
Great location and a nice checkin experience. A welcome pack or similar might be nice as the apartment feels a little impersonal. Close to restaurants and the beach.
Beautiful property, we stayed here for our honeymoon.
Great pool nice property lovely rooms close to town
Great room, friendly and helpful staff. Location close to everything Port Douglas has to offer. Pool a highlight
This was our honeymoon, receptionist very rude made us feel stupid and unwelcome especially with all restrictions coming into place. Buffet breakfast turned into room service with only two options which were both burgers. Ended up leaving 2 days early as we felt they didn’t comprise in anyway to make it enjoyable for guests.
Not a 5-star resort plus ATM nightmare
The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to the marina, shops, supermarket and lots of restaurants. However, the level of features, service and amenities of Peppers Beach Club definitely could not qualify for a 5-star resort ranking. When I made our 4 nights reservation, it had not mentioned each unit is individually owned. I booked a one-bedroom suite with daily housekeeping service. Our corner top floor unit (3rd floor) was spacious with a huge balcony that equipped with a barbecue grill, a dining table and chairs. Our unit has a modern full kitchen with utensils that we need. It also has an inhouse washer and dryer. However, the aircon could not adjust to go below 22C. The weather was quite hot, so it was very uncomfortable trying to relax. The unit has minimal décor and old furniture, especially the old bad shape couch - like you were sitting in the quick sand. The worse has yet to come. When the ATM machine inside the Marina Building did not dispense money out for our withdraw, we had to make an urgent collect call to our bank at home. The Front Desk of Peppers Beach Club told us they had no international phone line! This was a bit disappointing for a resort that advertises itself as a 5-star. We had to rush to West Pac Bank in town to get help. The Bank Advisor Katelyn Cody was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She helped us to solve the issue. So lucky!
Amazing
It was great apart from the coronavirus cutting short our stay so we were able to get home! Also would be great if in the 1BR room there was at least a microwave or a sink to wash your cups and fill up your water bottle otherwise I would go back there in a flash, great location to everything, great restaurant, great pool, thanks will be back soon :)
Beautiful place. Got there and was upgraded at no charge. Beautiful pool. Great food and friendly staff
fabulous
Wonderful time
Great rooms, pool and location Maybe more choices on the food selections would be good.
Staff were outstanding , its close to the centre of town and has a great pool
Pillows on bed were too large. Uncomfortable bed. Uncomfortable night
So pleased w facility & location easy walk to town or beach great side trips super fun pool
Amazing. Will come again.
A refreshing break
Beautiful resort. Location is ideal , short distance to Main Street and Beach. Resort beach pool , a highlight for my children. Breakfast buffet good , with everything you need.Staff friendly and excellent service in KoKos.
Impossible to sleep at night due to the blue lights blaring through the windows that you can't cover. Aircon won't go below 22C. Woke up to being bitten throughout the night by something - my partner and I were covered in bites in the morning.
Great pool. Great staff. Amazing breakfast. Look forward to our next visits

Lovely oasis
A wonderful hotel. The pool is incredible. Our room looked out over it ( as did our spa). The bar was great and the food delicious. It’s a limited menu but theres enough variety, it’s close to restaurants so easy to walk if you wanted to do that. We’ll be back.
