Restaurants at the hotel were excellent and staff at the hotel were so friendly.

Lovely Stay

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel! The day spa was absolutely fabulous!! One area of disappointment was a friend had ordered chocolate covered strawberries, a charcuterie platter, and drinks to be delivered to our room to celebrate our 38th anniversary. Because we had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, the hotel did not deliver it to us. It would have been nice if the hotel at least notified us that we had this special delivery!

Excellent vacation 👌

They did not disclose all fees related to this hotel in the Expedia app. I ended up paying a resort fee that was presumably included and stated that it was included.

Everyone was very nice. The room and entire property was very pretty and clean.

Our room was on the West wing that was far away from the casino. The first night our bathroom fan sounded like someone was screaming out of the vent. The second night the air conditioning vent coming from the ceiling was making a knocking noise for hours. We called the hotel at 3am to request a different room so we could get some sleep. The refused to move us and so we didn't get any sleep that night. The room didn't have a smoke detector outside of our room. It was completely missing. The third night, luckily, they moved us to the main hotel where we could get a good night's rest. The elevators were disgusting, everything was outdated. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

There should be a path to avoid casino for children

PROS: Convenience to everything in Reno, food, nice gym, plenty gaming machines, clean gaming bars with nice staff and excellent housekeeping service. CONS: The coffee. The espressos, coffee and cappuccinos are pretty weak. I’m a self-made barista. They must fix this. I ended up getting coffee at Atlantis near the convention center. That said, I’ve been a Peppermill customer for over 40 years. (Performed there in the late 80s) The rooms a very nice. Nice they’ve kept the Fireside Lounge afloat. The Milano restaurant was our stop as our event hours were late. Portions are huge and selection of food is great.

I arrived at 1230 as indicated on my pre check in. The room wasnt ready yet but i was supposed to receive a text message. I went back at 3pm abd the room was ready but i never got a text. The bathrooms in the casino are not clean. The room was decent but nothing special. I had a grand suite and was less than impressed. The bed was hard and the pillows sucked. The saving grace of the facility is the food. All places we ate at were delicious.

Upgraded rooms are very clean and well appointed. Casino and casino staff were terrific. Reno has some interesting table games like 1 deck blackjack which moves very fast and has some quirks to the regular 21. The dealers are very nice and explain everything without Vegas-style frustration.

I really liked it there. Felt like old school Vegas with cheap gambling and good food at reasonable.prives. staff is very professional! Make sure you get a room with a steam shower. It was awesome!

North tower rooms smell like smoke. The staff said they are all like that and I would need to pay for an upgrade in order to stay in room that didn’t smell! Poor service would never stay there again

I did not like the fact that charged the resorts fee and they will do an additional 400-dollar deposit. Any restaurant is too expensive even the convenience coffee shop.

initial room was to be a non-smoking room, but was found to be thick smell / Oder of Marijana. house keeping sent up a fan to clean , but failed. change room of a lesser quality without compensation.

Nice hotel, great restaurants, I would highly recommend this place.

The only couple of things that could improve, are the slow draining sink, smelled a bit like cigarette smoke and no microwave. Other than that, it was great, I would stay again.

Noisy

A little surprised about the noise factor in the Tuscany Tower Suite area. The door slamming next door was all night pretty much. Our sleeping area of the bed was situationed fairly close to our entry door. Perhaps soft close doors could be installed as a suggestion.

Excellent room fireplace was a nice surprise

The Peppermill Casino and Resort is the best place to stay on Reno. The rooms are gorgeous, with large TV's and steam showers too. The Casino is large, with lots of slots and table games. There's a high limit room and a large poker room. The amenities are A-1.

We love going to the Peppermill for my wife’s birthday every year

The room was nice. The tub was amazing. Very comfortable. The only thing we wish would be to use a different smelling smoke neutralizer as it made my husband have a headache. But otherwise great stay. We will be back

Excellent short getaway

Great spa experience! Gym was also good, with steam room and sauna. Very friendly staff everywhere.

Peppermill is always our favorite. We spend time here yearly on our ski trip. We stayed at north tower this time and were surprised to find that north tower has been renovated. We really like the room.

Beautiful room!

I wish we had had more time to explore this property! We were flying out of Reno and needed a place to stay for one night only since we had a 5:15am flight. The resort had so many amazing amenities, including pool, fitness center, spa and restaurants! We would definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area. The staff is SO friendly! The property is beautiful. We had fun just walking around and looking at everything.

Good trip stay

Really nice room for a standard. Had to wait about 2 hours after our promised check in time. Room was unavailable, I guess and they moved us to a different room. The room we were out in was very clean. I loved the lighting ,very cozy. At about 5 in the morning there was a lot of noise outside the window. Our room was facing the side where they have pick up and delivery,so it was kind of disappointing view. Other than that it was nice. Could have been cheaper because of the room location.

We weren't expecting much from any property in Reno, but this place was beautiful, clean, well maintained and well planned. The casino floor is very smoky but otherwise, we loved it. Dining options were fantastic and everything worked perfectly.

I'm disappointed by the quality of my stay. The shower head was fixed and didn’t have a hose, which made showering quite inconvenient. The heater was also very loud and kept waking me up at night. For the price I paid, I expected better room quality. Overall, it felt like the cost didn’t match what was offered.

It was my 1st trip to peppermill casino and yeah it was Awesome

-Convenient check in and check out -Easy and free to self park -They charge a resort fee but includes coupons which are useable and break even or more to cover the amount charged -Water got out of the steam shower and made a puddle rather easily -Could use better pillows

The property was well taken care of. The north wing of hotel rooms is very confusing to get to with the skywalk. We found another way to get there which was much better thru a staircase in the middle.

Noisy and uncomfortable

Room was right next to maid closet and elevator. The coming and going of staff and customers was heard night and day. Not relaxing at all. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, sunk in the middle and feet higher than head. It was clean but next time we will stay an the Tuscany tower and request not to be by the elevator

Do not stay in the west wing. We were put there after being told our tower room wasn’t ready after arriving at almost 7 pm. The room was as far as possible from the front desk, we even had to go out in the cold to get there. We had to go up stairs with our luggage as the first floor was not ground level on the front. The bldg was right next to the road so we listened to traffic all night. The heater was very loud. The room was nice, but where it was made us disappointed.

It was a good stay overall. The view wasn’t great but that’s just due to the area this hotel is in.

Everything was clean. I slept better than at home. The only ducky thing is although it as a non smoking room it reeked of smoke really reeked. I know that is not the responsibility of the casino. There will always be stinkers who think no smoking does not apply to them. Otherwise my stay was great!

Loved the room and the bathroom! Phenomenal. Our hiccup was that we checked in 15 minutes before 3, and our room wasn’t ready. He said it was cleansed it just needed a final ok and he would text us as soon as it was ready. No big deal, we knew we were a bit early for check-in. So we wondered around, threw some money away I. The slot machines and then decided to sit and wait. And wait. And wait. At 4pm I went to the desk and asked about the status of our room. A very nice woman helped us this time and said “Oh! It’s ready”. I let her know we didn’t recieve a text or anything and she looked at her coworker who checked us in and side eyed him. It felt like he made mistakes often. Other than that our stay was great.
