Short Stay Break

It had everything we needed for a short stay, was very central so easy to get around.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff in a really great location. Overall I would rate the hotel as excellent, but did feel the room was a little tired looking, and the amenities were okay. However very close to main attractions, walkable and lots of amenities very close by. I would definitely stay here again

Gerat hotel and great location.

Good location, clean hotel room and lovely breakfast. Enjoyed our free drink. Limited choices on the free drink for VIP which was disappointing but we still liked the hotel and the staff.

Close to old town and all transport links clean modern hotel friendly approachable staff would definetly stay here again

Great hotel and staff

Great hotel, reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities available. Location was great with plenty of on street parking outside the hotel

Wonderful property and thoughtful kind staff who weee vey helpful. The bar and check in were highlights. Carpets in room were a bit dirty but overall room was clean

Room was good for 1 night. Heating was via vents which we had to turn off due to noise during night. Some flys in bathroom noted. Hitel had cocktail happy hr which we unfortunately missed.

Good but needs modern temperature control

Decent hotel for the price, quick and friendly service. Room was clean and comfy, albeit a bit dated in decor. There is no way to control the temp in the room so every so often hot hair blasts though the vent. At times it was far too warm and it’s mad to not have temp control in 2025. Luckily I had a balcony room so I could open the door, no idea if non balcony rooms have opening windows.

Very nice location, friendly staffs

I liked how close this hotel was to the bus drop-off from the airport. It was near all the major attractions and sites and everywhere was walkable. The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. I would stay here again.

A great affordable hotel stay! Everything was in walking distance. As a female solo traveller I felt safe and happy move freely in and out of the hotel. Room service was great as well! I definitely recommend a stay here.

Location was great and room was very large

Location of the property is excellent. The property itself is very nice and cosy. The staff is very friendly especially in the breakfast area- outstanding! Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend it- definitely value for money!

Nice hotel and staff, spoiled by attention to detail. Some blood or ketchup on the exterior door frame that housekeeping should have spotted and cleaned without being asked. Pay for breakfast it's worth it. The hotel's in a good central location close to the Metro and walkable to Old Town (restaurants) and many of the sights. You'll need sturdy shoes as the pavements and Metro stairs are in poor condition, but this has nothing to do with the hotel!

Excellent location and main areas of the hotel great. Misunderstood (!) room requirements - twin beds resulted in one having a double bed (nice) and the other on a made up sofa bed (not so nice). Struggled to get the room to cool down. But room was clean, shower strong and hot. Lovely people - helpful and friendly

This hotel is located down a quiet side street, close to the old town. The room (cosy urban)was basic with the smallest windows ever, but it had all we needed for a city break when we didn’t intend to be in the room very much. I was very disappointed as I had emailed the hotel in advance to ask if they could arrange anything for my husbands birthday. I also asked if there was any room upgrades available to purchase. I never received a reply. The bar area is nice with a great choice of wines and I would recommend the hotel for those on a budget, or who are more focused on location, than the hotel itself.

Clean, what we were looking for a few days away. We didn’t use all the facilities (restaurant, sauna etc) only really the room. But was nice, modern and had all we needed

Good location, perfect for walking around the old town. Hotel is clean with nice breakfast but room amenities don’t work and staff was of no help when we informed them.

Had a great stay at Peakture Bucharest. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the old town and other areas of the city, with lots of restaurants, cafés, bars and even a couple of breweries to explore. It is in a great location, safe to walk around, with little noise apart from traffic at rush hour times. Staff are really friendly and helpful. I didn't use the wellness facilities there, but they looked great.

Hotel is an ideal base to explore Bucharest as a city break. 10 minute walk from the old town with a Metro station next to the Hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast as well. Very attentive staff.

A lovely small hotel, rooms were of a decent size however quiet dark. They had a very small window so no natural light. Otherwise the room was good enough for what we needed. Staff were very helpful

Overall Good Stay

Room was too hot (23c) I couldnt turn the AC on, street noise too loud when window was open. Assuming it was disabled since it was October. sauna was out of service. Wifi was spotty at best in the room. Room next door was loud with music and talking. That said service was good. Room was a little beat up but clean and modern. Bed comfy. Location was excellent. Nespresso machine with real milk in room was nice. Despite the minor negatives I would stay here again. Good value.

Great location, close to the Old Town, small/medium sized, hotel; friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast - variety and freshness. Lifts a bit problematic and rooms functional but bit dated in parts.

Enjoyable stay. Hotel only a 5 minute walk from old town. Bus 100 for airport even closer and also Metro. Nice staff, good bar and great breakfast at £7 a day. Honestly book it.

When we arrived the first room wasn't that clean. There was a lot of hair on the floors, chair etc so we asked for a change and Daniella was very helpful in getting us a new room. Most of the staff were friendly especially the staff at breakfast - thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect location, 1 minute walking to University square. Modern, very clean room, nice bar downstairs, friendly and professional staff.

Value for the money+

Started in the Hilton inn and continued in Peakature hotel. Half price this hotel with same value or even better. The location of Hilton was slightly better but breakfast, bed, refrigerator, makeup mirror better in this hotel.

Very centrally located hotel just 1/2 block from the 100 bus stop to airport. Staff were kind and accommodating. Bed was comfortable with nice linens. Immediate area around the hotel is a bit dingy, but easy walking distance to nicer areas in the old town.

Think really good Premier Inn, in a convenient location that’s right next to the main buses and metro for the city, and only a few mins walk into the old town. We tried to stay in the old town in a place with a pool but the prices rose exponentially while we were faffing. This was the next best option and, while we missed having a pool, otherwise suited us very well. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with good showers and comfy beds. The reception and breakfast staff are great. Breakfast is very good. Sure, it gets a bit samey after a few days but there’s hot (eggs, ham, a vegetable and a potato), bread, ham, cheeses, mezze type bowls with things like humus and feta in them, and cereal and toast. Coffee is served from a commercial nespresso machine and juices are available to help yourself. Check out time is also noon, which we really appreciated. It was also good value for money. The downside is the lifts are full of signs not to have to many people in them and, it turns out, Americans didn’t read the signs much so the lifts broke and then we were stuck walking up 6 double flights of stairs after breakfast. Read the signs, people, it’s an old building…

For Old Town and access to University Square fior trips booked through Expedia if is the perfect location, less than 10 minutes walk. Clean and tidy hotel that doesnt break the bank and everyone was helpful and friendly. Breakfast is really nice with lots of choice and you can eat in the bar, a limited menu but something for all and good prices. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for a week and more or less delivered exactly as hoped. Wonderful breakfast , very good wifi and helpful staff. Room was a little on the small side but fine for one person. Location is perfect for exploring the city by both foot and Metro. Good value for the money , happy with my choice. Varied and healthy breakfast was the highlight for me .

I liked everything!

It was a good location for seeing the sites - walkable and the subway was close by. Lovely restaurants in old town close by. Staff were welcoming and helpful, although gave us incorrect directions to one plaace and we missed our tour.

The Hotel is good. Beds are comfortable clean rooms staff are so nice and friendly. The overall condition of the Hotel is not in an excellent condition thats why i couldnt rate it excellent. I got a room with a tiny tiny window that overlooks another building with construction the window doesn’t close well so noisy but never bothered me as I enjoyed the city the nice people and the food i would stay here again location is great.

4 Star property with 5 Star service

The hotel is in a little grubby street but close to the old town (about 7min walk) and near some of the nice buildings. The room is as you would expect but some of the fittings were loose (shower rail, toilet button, electric points). Staff in restaurant were lovely and friendly as was the person on reception.

The lobby is very nice with a lovely little bar area. The breakfast is pretty good and the restaurant food is pretty good. (Expensive though). The rooms are a bit dated, they don’t match the lobby area. However, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, so that’s the important part. The AC works and the shower has hot water. The area is quite walkable and safe of course. The black out curtains are also quite nice. I would stay again. Just wished there was more counter space in the bathroom. But it’s not that big of a deal. The mini bar and coffee in the room is convenient

Excellent hotel in a really great location for a good price. Rooms are air conned and the bathrooms have a lovely heated floor. The location was perfect for exploring Old Town in beautiful Bucharest. I would highly recommend.

its location is very good easy waking to old town and many of the attractions.....the breakfast choice was excellent...assisted by great staff.....outside...is a bit shabby...dont be put off its a destination that deserves mire visitors

Great, modern hotel in central Bucharest. Close to restaurants and tourist locations. Nice lobby bar and friendly, helpful staff. Elevator and located on a quiet street. We didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment on that.

It is worth staying on this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the place is quiet.

Great location at a great price. You just walk underground across the street and you’re in the old town. They have a sauna gym and massage room in the basement. Really nice massage! The rooms were clean and comfortable. And the shower was great, which has not always been my experience in Eastern Europe!

Lovely hotel in excellent location

We arrived very late at night after a delayed flight, but the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Best of all was the location, on a quiet side street but close to a metro station. It was only five minutes walk from the old town (not recommended!) and ten minutes from the beautiful Fantanile Bucuresti. There are lots of good restaurants nearby too.

Location was fantastic with trsnsport via buses less than 109 metres away. Hotel room wasfab..comfortable room for three adults. It was spacious and a mini fridge was nice. Nice bed linen and complimentary drink was nice

Perfectly located for old town

A smart and trendy hotel. Friendly staff. Location is perfect. A few minutes walk to the old town. Lots of choices for breakfast. Large comfortable room but shower was in desperate need of regrouting due to black mould at bottom which was unpleasant. Coffee machine and a bottle of water in the room. Bar and lobby area is stunning. Highly recommend this hotel.

Walkable to everywhere

The elevator had a notice to take one at a time. No dedicated parking. Street parking is available to pay. The lobby looks more luxurious than the upstairs hotel area. A/C is great! Beds were somewhat comfortable, better than typical German beds. Windows can open. Shower area is old. The area is run-down but GREAT location for walking everywhere! We would probably stay here again.

Parking was easy (unusual in Bucharest), breakfast was included and it was quite healthy/good, and the staff were terrific. SO helpful with information and ideas. The room was excellent, with a balcony that made it even better. Really glad we stayed at Peakture.

The Hotel has a wonderful staff, amazing breakfast, clean rooms and the location it’s only a few minutes away from the metro station(3 min) and the main sightseeing.

Not great,air conditioning very loud and rattly,had to turn it off.Feather pillows(who uses them anymore?),so allergies and no aircon made for not a great sleep!location good.shower not great either

Peakture Hotel

Nice greeting upon arrival. Hotel is in a great location not far from old town. I would say the hotel needs an update in terms of painting and cleaning. A little dated in terms of look inside the hotel and rooms. My brother’s room was much better on the six floor and his balcony was excellent with a fantastic view. I would say average for the hotel but if you get a room on the six floor like my brother did then you are much better off.

A great stay in Bucharest

The stay was brilliant. The staff were helpful and spoke excellent English (far better than my Romanian!). The hotel was very clean and the reception area smelt great. Would thoroughly recommend.

Hotel was within easy walking distance to the Old Town Square. Strong AC and comfortable beds. Finally, the ability to have late checkout was great.

Good central location close to the underground and the old town. Clean comfortable room with very comfortable bed. The room could have had better lighting. Even with all the lights on it was quite dark. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on the quality but did note that it seemed quite expensive compared to eating elsewhere. The room, however, was good value for money for a city centre hotel.

Really happy with everything about this hotel. Great quality for the price paid, I would 100% use this hotel again. I slept well, I couldn't hear other guests and it was very close to a Metro station for easily getting around the city as well as being a reasonable walk from a lot of things
