Cape Town
The employee were great and constantly wanting to assist me with anything I needed. Some of the best service I have ever seen. Hotel was very clean and the breakfast staff incredible.
Very clean and hospitable environment with very courteous personnels. Central and accessible
The room was freezing. Workers all night. Too much noise
Great hotel. Will definitely be back
DO NOT STAY - MONEY STOLEN
Please do not stay here unless you want your items to be stolen. My friend staying in another room, had an evelope of money stolen from the safe which is pin locked by her own code. We reported this incident to the hotel management and they said they will investigate but no actions taken. They said will respond but until the day we checked out, no one said a thing, no management came to speak to us nor update. 3 days on and they could not even share details of the housekeeper that access the room and datalog of the safe. Obviously buying time. There is another review left under my name that states 8/10. That is not from me. I do not know how that could even happen when i had not submitted any review. Security in this hotel is a concern here. Given the big brand name Radisson, this is really unacceptable.
Hospitality was overwhelming. Loved every second of my stay.
Very clean hotel. 2 restaurants on site. The rooftop terrace bar and restaurant was great. 15 minute walk to the waterfront which has many many shops, cafes and restaurants.
Very nice hotel. Easy to walk to the V&A waterfront.
Gym equipment could be better — especially the elliptical, which is lousy.
don’t go !
hotel more like a building site ! pool not open lift not working toilets closed
Excellent service, kindly upgraded us. Hairdryer didn’t work, which we reported but not changed. Pool out of order.
Hotel staffing are awesome! Dining, bell/door and front desk. Wilber, Siyanda, Bronywn, Zininzi, Michael, Lucien, Carmen, Fairoez are all excellent! Hotel is very close to Convention Center and not far from Waterfront shopping area.
The room is cleaned. The staffs was very friendly. Let me stayed late check out.
My stay was good overall but would have prefer an option to extend from an 11am checkout time to 3pm as my flight leaves at 8pm for a 36hrs journey back home. Some renovation are currently being done on the main floor, so can be noisy throughout the daytime.
Very nice hotel, great staff, centrally located.
Great place to stay. Safe and comfortable within a short distance to main attractions and areas of interest. The waterfront is about a 20 minute easy walk or a 10 minute car ride, for example. While there is not a lot in the immediate area, there are a few restaurants, especially for breakfast and a few convenience stores nearby for basic needs. I usually stay here when I’m Cape Town
Convenient location, fresh and clean, staff very friendly and helpful.
Great staffs and clean facilites
Friendly staff and convenient location
Not good not bad
Assigned room was tiny. Toilet was running the whole week I was there, even though I reported it. Covid protocols were lacking at breakfast. Breakfast was basic and food cold. Staff very friendly and ideally located.
Service was great!!
This is I guess the Radisson budget brand - and it shows. While I was staying here, only 1 of the 2 lifts was working and they were often moving large amounts of stuff from the top floor bar in and ouit (for instance, once it was a lift full of balloons). So the workmen were keeping the lift open and no-one could go anywhere. I knew where the service lift was because we had had to use that when we arrived because neither lift was working. But why weren't the people setting up the party stuff using the service lift?
Nicest staff ever. Very clean hotel. Great location.
Overall service and facilities
The staff were friendly and addressed me by name which was wonderful. The view from the rooftop restaurant is scenic. The room was cleaned and well stocked with the essentials like milk, coffee, teas, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The state of the splash pool however was not clean and my son was disappointed as he couldn’t make use of it. I complained about it at reception but never received feedback. I was struggling to connect my phone to the tv, tried calling reception several times but couldn’t get through so after physically going down and getting step-by-step instructions, it still didn’t work. Instead of someone coming to physically assist us, we couldn’t connect and that was disappointing.
Brilliant always a favorite
Wonderful experience.guests had just gotten engaged and were treated so well during this time of covid.
Friendly, Value for Money
Awesome friendly staff, great location, comfortable room with balcony
Quick service. Very easy check in, check out. Excellent staff members. The rooftop restaurant/bar was noisy on our first night, we requested to change to another room on the lower floor. They did it happily next day. Thank you. Good breakfast. Good bar and restaurant.
Good Location
We enjoyed our stay at the Park Inn. Our room was small but had a fabulous view of the city. The hotel was within walking distance of the V&A Waterfront (about 20 minutes) and of the CBD. We did not walk here at night though. Breakfast buffet was very good as was dinner in their restaurant. Nice bar on the 11th floor with a good view of the city. The Staff was helpful, stored our luggage and booked transport for us to the AIrport. We would recommend this hotel.
OK location
Room was big and clean. I did not like the pool area. To small both area and pool. The morning buffet was not tidy
Super breakfast and very nice simple , new hotel in great location.
We thought this was a great hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and kind. Hotel shuttle was a bonus. The food was delightful and reasonably priced. The place was clean. The wifi was great. The view from our room was AMAZING ❤️ (Mountain view). The shower was great and the bed was very comfy. The only one thing we were disappointed with was the pool. The photos on the internet made it look a LOT bigger than it is!!! It’s basically a fish tank and being in the bar you can’t go and have a peaceful time or a proper swim. The location was also great. Short walk to V&A
Very nice hotel! Staff was helpful! They were always smiling to us! Hotel is very well located. It is a 15-minute walk to pretty much everything (V&A Waterfront, Bo-Kaap, etc.). The rooftop terrace is pretty nice with a view on Table Mountain. We were disappointed by the fact that the terrace was closed every night during our stay. We can't really blame the hotel though as the nights were really windy. The pool is much smaller than it looks on the pictures. No one really used it. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but they're very clean. Our room had a big window with a view on Table Mountain which was so beautiful! The only ''bad'' thing about the hotel is that the area can get pretty 'sketchy' at night. Avoid walking alone at night. We took Uber to go everywhere. It can also get a bit sketchy during the day if you venture on the wrong street. Tip: Even though it's easy and fast to walk to Bo-Kaap, we suggest taking an Uber or a taxi. Some streets are not as 'safe' as others. We got followed for 10 minutes by a begger. We are not trying to taint the reputation of Cape Town or the hotel. Any big city in the world has those issues. Please do not let this influence your decision to visit Cape Town. We were there for 2 weeks and always felt generally safe. We took good precautions and nothing happened to us! :) Cape Town is sooo worth visiting!! You just have to be smart, like in any big city!
Good even if no recognition of my gold status in radisson
Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Foreshore
USed as a business trip stay
The Hotel is very good and fairly central however the walk to the Waterfront can be uncomfortable and intimidating.
We loved the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. It’s as if they really like people and their jobs. I wish they would give top sheets, because the duvet is too warm. It was a nice walk to the hop on hop off bus, either at the convention center or Long Street, where they are most helpful also. We had Room 606 and the Air con, was working well, my hubby likes it cool. The view from that room was also great. We enjoyed the roof top bar.
Everything was perfect. All the staff was so so lovely and friendly. Room was was amazing. View was stunning. Everywhere was clean. Our room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and the chef cooked eggs perfectly! Car parking was very secure and the guy at the garage gate was awesome. Cannot fault anything. Thank you all the staff for brilliant stay.
excellent
Convenient location for business stay
Park inn is situated very near the ICC (within walking distance). Good location for business - all major companies are in close proximity. Waterfront is also witin walking distance. Front desk staff were very friendly especially Lonke. Hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to locations within a 3km radius. Room is spacious and comfortable - great view of table mountain Breakfast variety was quite basic. Hotel provides lots of soap but no hand cream which we found quite strange.
We stayed for a week recently. From the minute we arrived we had the best time. The breakfast is really good. The roof top is awesome from the food to the views and the pool! Our room in the fifth floor was always clean and even with the city back view we enjoyed it. This is place is really cozy and the location is perfect! I want to thank everyone there!
Great hotel
Great stay only one night. Very friendly staff.
England win
Staff were brilliant from the airport pick up to help with taxis and restaurants to the roof top bar staff. Hotel itself was fine if a little tired in places. Good breakfast. Good location.
Fantastic Staff with great service skills especially the reception guy named Wilber
Very friendly staff Very clean rooms
Messy arrival
Arrival is messy with no place to offload lugguge. No assistance either.
Marvelous
The hotel was so great, they even upgraded us to a bigger room.
Worse experience
We spent 4 nights at this hotel, we spent the first 2 nights in a stinking room and we requested a new the 3rd night we were moved to another room, in the morning of the after the third night we were told we must move out of that room again to another one. The 3rd room the plugs we not working l, we couldn't charge our phones and couldn't even use a kettle to boil water. There was also no safe box, to lock our valuables, yet we requested for one and were told they bringing and it never came. I am not coming back to this hotel. One more thing, the breakfast is bad.
Wonderful birthday spent at the Radisson!
I had a great stay and spent my birthday at the Park-Inn and I would definitely come again. Great value for money, beautiful views and great service. I have to come again to check out the rooftop restaurant. :)
Cape Town visit
Overall good stay. Bit more help from front desk but other than that would recommend this hotel.
Everything was just perfect . I would definitely stay there again
Wonderful Service
Very clean, spacious room, with a beautiful view of Table Mountain. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Park Inn from your next Cape Town stay.
really enjoyed our stay , clean nice rooms , staff was very friendly and a good location close to everything
Staff service was excellent. Hotel was quiet and in a good location
The hotel was fine, but my issue was that it was not the hotel I booked, which was a lot nicer. They tried to sell the "being bumped" as an upgrade which it clearly wasn't. Room was tired and probably last updated in the 80s. Only redeeming feature were the staff who were amazing, friendly, and couldn't have been more helpful
Clean, well priced hotel, good breakfast, great roof top bar with table mountain views, a friendly and helpful staff. However the area is not safe. My wife had a necklace ripped from her neck outside the hotel. Not at all valuable but a very disturbing incident.
Expensive but okay
The room was large but quite gloomy as lighting in the room is totally in adequate. Fortunately there is a good sized window in the room which let in plenty of light during the day. But it night you almost needed a white cane to get around. Service was excellent in the hotel but it is overpriced as it caters to the business market Primarily.
Could not get connected to the internet. I will also be avoiding hotels from now on due to a "tourist fee". I'm a South African citizen doing business in CT.
Price quality no much. Breakfast poor. Towels not very clean.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a great view and was immaculate. The lication of the hotel made it easy to get everywhere by Uber or walking. Breakfast was a delicious and bountiful buffet.
It is my first time in this city and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is excellent from the first second. The staff cannot be nicer. They are all very polite, enthusiastic, efficient and helpful! The mountain view room is very good that you can see the Table Mountain comfortably from the big window! The room is clean but a little bit small. The breakfast is delicious although not many options. The food in the lobby restaurant is also very good and reasonable price! Everything is good in these three days! Thank you!
The service I received from the front desk staff was exceptional! Also their shuttle driver was very friendly, professional and gave excellent tips to enhance my trip! I will definitely stay there again!
Really nice hotel. Great location and the staff are great. They were super helpful and the complimentary shuttle was nice! Rooms are clean and spacious. Rooftop bar is great in the evenings. Breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay here again!
This hotel is in a great central location in Cape Town, withing walking distance of the Waterfront, Castle of Good Hope and Long Street. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room is spacious and comfortable.
Value for money
We booked 3 rooms only one had a sitting area.was this a bonus? The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a billing mess up when checking out. We were not told if the resort tax at the time of booking. Breakfast smorgasbord was good but nothing fancy. About a 15 minute walk to the Waterfront.
Convenient in CPT
2nd time to stay here, staff are nice 👍
Everything was awesome, the stuff is eager to help and they're quick when asking for anything with no problems
Great Hotel
Good location as a tourist visiting Cape Town. Very noisy, but good rooftop bar / cafe with great service, cold beer, and inexpensive food.
Great location. Friendly staff. Pleasant rooftop patio and bar. Excellent breakfast.
Good but almost equal to a good 3 stars hotel in Western European countries.
The hotel is well situated in the city. Near long streey
Everything was great about this hotel from the time I checked in to check out. Breakfast was wonderful and the customer service was great. I especially would like to give thanks to Lonke, the night manager who went above and beyond to help me with a problem I was having with my return flight. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Cape Town.
The property advertised airport transfers, which is the reason I selected this hotel. However, when I arrived at the airport I was told I need to arrange the transfer 24 hours in advance. When I attempted to arrange a transfer on the way back to the airport, I was told that it cost 330 Rand (which was more than the cost of the taxi I paid on my arrival). I spoke to the hotel manager and he said there was nothing he could do I would not use this hotel again.
Great location if you have an event at the ICC which is 5min walk. Woolworths food and Food Lovers eatery walking distance although there are 2 x restaurants onsite. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there again with next visit when having an event at the ICC.
Loved every minute.
Great service. Phumzile and the other student gentlemen were fantastic. Nasal arranging halal catering great as well.
His was a cozy establishment close to everything. The staff was amazing. I will definitely continue to go here every time I visit.
Park Inn Radisson, Cape Town
Excellent, everything ran as smooth as could be.
The property was nice and conveniently located. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Comfortable hotel with good view
The hotel is located in the business district, so the streets get very empty after sunset and it might not be safe to go out alone at night. They have daily breakfast buffet with a good selection of fruits, bread and made to order eggs, but it would be nice if they can change the items every few days since it can get boring eating the same thing everyday. We booked a room with a King bed but what was offered to us was two twins joined together to make it a King size. Other than that the room was comfortable and had a great view of Table Mountain. The hotel staff were very nice and courteous.
Very convenient location in the center of the city. Clean, well-kept property. Friendly, helpful staff. Has on-site parking. Very affordable rates.
Wellness weekend
I had a perfect weekend with my girlfriend, and we get exelent service ad Park Inn In Capetown...
Really excellent front desk staff who went the extra mile for us.
Best service
My hotel of choice in cape town
Breakfast was fab! Bed comfy! Didn’t like the shower screen! Or reception staff , miserable! The young lady who took the room numbers at breakfast was lovely very cheerful.
amazing stay
amazing stay, easy check in, great views, helpful staff
Most amazing experience, the Staff made all the difference.
Expected more from a Radisson.
The towels are way too small. Asked for a king bed but got 2 singles. My rooms service order arrived incomplete. The construction site next to my room was still going on at 6pm.room 414. No mention of construction site on the website. Reception staff very efficient with check in and check out. Breakfast setup is perfect.
Convenient between Waterfront and Greenmarket/Company Gardens. Good comfort with a smile.
Amazing staff. Great location for conferences at the international convention centre. Top service!
Perfect location
The staff was very friendly, the room has all you need. The location is perfect for everywhere you want to go in Cape Town.
Amazing! Everyone is so kind and would do as much as they can to help. Room was very clean and so was the whole place.
Park Inn
It was quite difficult to find even with Sat Nav - traffic was heavy which didn't help. The parking was also hard to find and drove around 3 times before spotting the sign. The location is good and the hotel itself was very nice. The room didn't have a good view just the backs of buildings, but as we were not in there much it wasn't too much of a problem
Great stay and great value for money
The staff where absolutely amazing and so professional and friendly. Staff took the time to remember your name. Very classy touch
It was ok, and affordable. I would go back for a short stay.
A so so ( hit and miss) hotel!
The hotel is fine near train station. And only 2 km walking distance : Hotel to Waterfront. We disliked the chaos at breakfast buffet, it would be easy to fix if the managers took time to look at the Queues!! Plus smoking and loud DJ was spoiling the ambience on rooftop bar.
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff at the grill where we had our daily breakfast were top notch. The grill supervisor/manager (Marzel) is excellent....say hi to her if you ever venture to the grill. Breakfast fare is excellent. The rooms are clean. I loved that the staff will knock on your door in the late afternoon/early evening to ask if you need anything else in the room. Paid Parking is available but you will need to be very good at parking. There is a limited number of parking space in the hotel and some may be challenged by the tight spaces and really small corners. The rooftop bar (Harald’s) is a good place to hang out. It could get challenging in the beginning as it seems they have a steady clientele. Newcomers may not immediately be “warmed up to” by the wait staff. It took a little conversation with the staff to get things going but after that, all is well. Two things that influenced my good rating instead of excellent for the hotel: 1. This is the first hotel I stayed in where charging services (food) to your room requires either a ore-payment or paid onbthe spot. A little hint to management - your customers may sometimes not be carrying cash/card as they enjoy the offerings of the RBG grill or the rooftop bar. 2. The hotel location is very close to a lot of things and it’s very easy to access the Waterfont, Table Mountain, etc. it can be a bit challenging with some of locals hanging out outside of the building. You will see them
Very nice hotel, great breakfast every day.
Excellent breakfast, the best we have ever had anywhere! Pleasant staff, great room with air conditioning, spectacular views of the mountain. nice rooftop bar and grill and shuttle service to and from the airport. Area behind and above the hotel a bit sketchy. As we walked from Nando's on Long St in the early evening, a pickpock got into my husband's pack, but it was an empty pocket. Another person tried to get up close behind us as well. We didn't go back in that direction again. When walking in Cape Town, use a money belt and take as little as you need with you. The V&A Waterfront area is great, no problem there or walking to it from the hotel. Also the Red Route Hop on-Hop off bus has a stop 2 blocks from the hotel (Convention Center stop) and travels to many tourist attractions.
The property is centrally located. Staff are happy to please!
The View
Location waa great. Easy walking distance to red sightseeing bus stop. Shuttle available on first come first served basis. Rooms were clean and spacious. Coffee machine and kettle available in rooms. Would have preferred a room with a mountain view though. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was available. Gym available and neat. Noise level was minimal from bar on 11th floor and surroundings. Overall hotel was good value for money. Ideally situated. Only pitfall is parking facilities. Paid parking available but limited.
This hotel is located in the city, therefore was close food outlets such as Burger kKng and Mariam's kitchen which serves the local cuisine. There were water restrictions in the city but we were provided with drinking water daily. The hotel was spacious, clean and a pleasure to stay in. The hotel was relatively quiet but also child friendly. Breakfast could have been better in the variety of food offered.
Unhelpful staff. Would not recommend.
Hotel staff very unhelpful.
