Great location, clean and nice accommodation s, friendly staff.
I specifically booked a junior suite as I had a number of business meetings to do by video conference and needed the extra room. During business hours there was constant jackhammering and pounding apparently because of renovations. It was unacceptable. If I had been told of this when I booked by room I would have found another place to stay. When I called the front desk to see what was going on they told me there were ongoing renovations in the adjacent building and that there was nothing that could be done. Poor customer service to say the least.
Staff is amazing great. Especially the concierge Dylan He's a star, always smiling and helpful.
The cleaning was very Poor ! With hair in our bathroom , dirty towels !
The location is ideal for touring and shopping
Great overall experience. Staff, room food and local knowledge were exceptional
Lovely in every way, staff, room, balcony, spa.
Good Location
Very nice hotel. And they stored our luggage for us after checkout while we went on an excursion. Very helpful!!
Hotel was very comfortable and clean.
A gem on Boulevard Haussmann!
This property never disappoints. From the moment you step through the door until you leave, the staff are sensitive, caring and attentive. I always look forward to returning!
Overall excellent
Everything was nice and pleasant. The only thing I would say was they had an issue with the temperature of the water and I felt it’s something that could’ve been resolved a lot sooner.
Excellent service
Excellent and clean hotel in a very centric area. Lots to do. staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, quiet. You are just a 20 min walk to the Louvre, St Germaine, and Montparnasse. Truly a great location.
Location
Very good location.
The facility was great with one exception. Pre-arriving I requested on several occasions that we have joining rooms. Weeks prior to my arriving I spoke with several people they put it in the notes and once we arrived no one knew of anything and made no real push to fore fill the request.
This property can’t possibly be a Marriott Hotel! Not possibly a four star hotel. Due to the issue of scalding and freezing fluctuating temperature of the shower we were moved to a different room, that’s where we noticed a message in the bathroom that stated that that issue was an ongoing problem throughout the hotel and when we complained they did not mention this. The second room had a sagging bed and a toilet room which was so small it was impossible to close the door. We were again moved to a different room which had a screeching sound anytime the bathroom door was opened or closed. We asked for the door to be fixed, we’re ignored until I had to go to the lobby and refused to accept that they would fix it the next day. The solution given was to keep the door open by way of cramming it shut with a stack of cardboard. They finally fixed the problem on the last day of the six day stay. We had two rooms the second one smelled like sewage only that my daughter who was staying there did not mention it until we checked out. She went to the gym and it was old and without air conditioning, one of the machines was out of order so there was only a treadmill and a few free weights. We wasted a lot of time changing rooms instead of sightseeing! The only good thing is the location!
We were given a handicap room modified for a person in a wheelchair with no seating area as in the picture when we order the room. Mr. Sharif was extremely courteous and got us a better room but not until after six days of our 10 day stay. Food at the restaurant was very disappointing. I would read this hotel a three star hotel.
I was very happy with our stay and it was fantastic to have used the exective lounge. One thing I didn't like is that nobody give slipper and wordrobe on the day despite my wife asked to provide.
As high as the room cost was, The breakfast should have been included It was good but very high in cost
Room had a bathtub which was great. People please and helpful.
Property was lovely and clean. Staff was great polite and pleasant. Would definitely stay again.
Great location and wonderful staff! Our favorite place to stay when visiting Paris.
The water temperature was hard to control. Went from cold to HOT in a second. Don’t recommend for anyone traveling with children staying here. The two cleaning ladies were in room looking for
Great location!
Wonderful location and walking distance to restaurants, shopping, metro station and entertainment.
Loved the location. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Great showers. Loved the hot towel warmers in the bathroom. The brkfast buffet was excellent. Only downside is that the room walls are very thin. You can hear everything next door.
Aron was the best so attentive and recommend it great places to eat. I’ll come back again is my 4th time staying with you guys.
The breakfast was underwhelming but everything else was enjoyable.
The bed was so bad, I’ve been hurting so bad. The property definitely needs updating. The rooms especially stale. I had problems with the AC keeping temperature. Also the shower would get real cold and then real hot, no fix. The location is fantastic, lounge is great and the people working there are really amazing. I won’t be staying again, until a proper renovation is done.
.
Thre lobby is the best part of the place , the reception is not very accommodating. I didn't have any Heat in my room and when I called hey said I had to wait for a technician to fix it until the next day , they didn't offer me an extra blanket and didn't have another room to accommodate me with . The breakfast is very standard for Paris expectations as it's more like a fast food buffett. The towels are very poor quality and the walls are so thin you Dan practically hear every sound from neighbors . The fire alarm went off and there was no announcement all guests had to come out and not know what was happening . Very dissapointing property
We stayed for 6 nights. Our room was fabulous, booked an executive suite. The room was beautiful and incredibly spacious. Hotel had a delicious breakfast. It has a fabulous lounge with complementary drink and snack. Overall great experience!
During the check out, I was told they are going to charge me for more than $2800. I asked about what kid charges are these and was told it is the room and breakfast. I then told the front desk we booked through Expedia and everything was paid for and we never had breakfast at the hotel. The front desk staff said she talked to the manager and cancel the charges. I checked my credit card after I got home and there is a pending charge of the $2800 . I contacted Expedia 3 times and was told they cannot do anything and asked me to contact the hotel directly. (I don’t know why I would use Expedia in the future). The one day the pending charge disappeared and I was charged for $34 dollars (for the breakfast I didn’t have?). I contacted the credit card company to have the charge removed. Now I have a new card number and need to update all my online payment account. It is very disappointed on how marriot and Expedia handle my trip.
blame You about this hotel!!!!! Only Expedia responsible for what happened in this hotel, I can't believe I can find a 5 star hotel like this at this time 2022 repulsive And ugly hotel
A/C problems
When we checked in, our room was extremely hot, the A/C was not working right. We complaint and they moved us to another one. The second room's temp. was 25C; still warm, but at least It was tolerable. Definitely not to the standards you expect from a Marriott hotel.
They don't have any cooperation, Air conditioner not working, phone not working.and other things
Close to everywhere walking distance to shopping
Poor service and experience Do not book this hotel
Air condition in my room did not work Only reception and concierge she and he are from Thailand so they help me to book restaurant
No air conditioner! My room was not ready so asked to come back. After 4 hrs, the room still not ready. Asked several people before I got my room. Ridiculous.
Liked the location. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of air conditioning. Rooms would not cool below 78-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Terribly uncomfortable. Windows locked, could only open a few inches. We would not stay here again for this reason. Staff very nice and accommodating.
Perfect location, excellent service
Most everything was excellent including the gracious service, food and drink. The buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious. Only cons were very thin walls between rooms and a sewer smell in the bathroom at times. Nice room overall, though.
Excellent location next to Les Grands Magasins!
1.To reach to the reception it takes at least 1hour or more. 2.To check in it took 1hour&checking out took 3 hours. They lost my coate with and my charger i got my coate back after 8 days and i did not get the charger but the said they will wire me the coast. I do not rcomonded We visit the reception daily &we looste minimum 1hour.
Highly recommended
Excellent and convenient location
Our stay was perfect . The service here is next level and everyone was so helpful and nice. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable . My daughter has food allergies and I thought it would be hard to accomodate her but they did . Breakfast was really good here too . The rooms are super clean and service was excellent . We will definitely be staying her again .
Hotel is in a fantastic location that is centrally located in Opera. While the district itself is a bit touristy you are a 15-20 walk from pretty much all the great areas: walk north and you'll land in Monmartre, east into St Denis and south into the Seine river and St Germaine etc. The staff is very friendly and the hotel overall felt safe and well managed. Given this is a Marriott expect the guests here to be mainly Americans (whether good or bad) We did have an issue upon arrival with our room. We had messaged hotel ahead of time saying we were on our honeymoon in hopes they would give us the best room for our tier. When we arrived they put us in a tiny room that looked nothing like the pictures that was adjoining suite and we could hear everything from the room next door. We complained and they ended up moving us into a room that actually looked like the pictures. I'm glad we were persistent and they had another room available because our initial one would have ruined the trip. The room had decent space and closet storage, bed was comfy and bathroom was clean. The bathroom door to toilet would not close all the way though. Having a safe was great peace of mind for our valuables. Overall would recommend staying here but just make sure to call the hotel ahead and time and make sure you are getting the best room you can.
Great in every single detail
Conveniently located, close to the Opera, shopping and public transportation. Easy walking distance to many places of interest. The room was comfortable, a good size for Paris and seemed recently updated. Staff and overall service was great.
All
The hotel is not up to the standards you advertise on expedia site
We landed last minute at the Marriott Opera - their lovely facility and warm hospitality were top notch. The bed was big. The room was well appointed and clean. Delightful stay!
Excellent location. Gotta recently remodeled. Staff very polite. We got earlier and an early check in was given. Rooms are spacious, bathroom is a full suite. Would stay there in my next trip.
My room was ready despite quite early arrival. It's quiet and very comfortable. Front desk was very helpful.
Good location for shopping
Outstanding
One of the best staff at this hotel, make you feel at home. Extremely accommodating with almost everything you need. Definitely going to stay here again on my next visit to Paris. The best hotel for family or business. Five stars for the staff.
We checked in during Fashion Week after checking out from another hotel that was disgusting. The front desk guy at Marriott was great ,Maguette is his name .Very pleasant .Great customer service .we booked 1 hr before getting there so they didn't receive confirmation from Expedia and we had to wait half hour.We went to the bar to wait and he made sure we didn't get charge for our drinks.Hotel room was nice and spacious for Paris standard .I just found that the service wasn't great.First night I tried to order room service and nobody is answering and finally someone answer from Front desk and told me she had to check if kitchen is still open....I was confused ,it was 10:15pm and on the menu it said it was available until 10:30 then they offer a reduced menu...whatever...She said she would call me right back to confirm my order was ok but 20 min later I still didn't hear from her so I called again and she told me food was on its way.I think that is poor Customer service.Next day (we stayed 4 nights)I called for something else and they said same thing,I'll call you right back and half an hr later nobody did...Overall my staying was pleasant, location is good .Not sure I'd stay there next time .
Great location, rooms little small, no air conditioning but was still comfortable. Staff very accommodating!
Poor AC - no one to fix it.
Great location. Easy to walk to shopping and dining. Room was very comfortable.
The hotel is nice and spacious. Perhaps just a little outdated with its support, such as no USB charger. Also noticed the wear and tear of the interior of the room is showing its sign.
The Marriott Ambassador has a fine, friendly and very helpful staff
Bathrooms were not kept clean, nor were the floors in the rooms Vanity not cleaned , water stains on a daily basis. If you walked barefoot in the room it was very dirty. They should of vacumed and mopped the floors better
Excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. All in all, great for the price.
It was really great staying at Marriott Hotel! Staff was very kind and service was excellent as well!
The location of the hotel is very convenient, it is close to the Metro and to major shopping department stores. The staff are very friendly and courteous.
From the moment we arrived the staff was incredibly attentive. The room was perfectly comfortable. I don’t have anything but wonderful things to say about the people, the location and the hotel itself!
great location great staff every one eas fantastic.
Excellent location, excellent staff we really enjoyed every aspect of our stay
Not a big deal.
It was normal. Not worth what it is. Just a normal hotel at a overpriced.
This is so stupid to force user to put a 50 characters review. How many feedback did you lose because of this.
Property very close to Lafayette mall, 5 minutes walking distance! A cosmetic duty free store next to hotel
Hotel room was very cold. Heating did not appear to work. Common areas were very limited.
The basic freebies like slippers grooming kits toothbrush were not provided unlike the other marriott hotels we stayed in. The bathtub was too high and very dangerous especially when you have older companions. It was just too high and it was so hard to get out of the shower. The water from the shower also keeps going out and keeps making a mess everytime we would use it. :( Nobody helped during check in and check out. The only good thing for this hotel is the LOCATION. Very close to train stations, RER, the departmentstores like Galleries and Printemps
Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador hotel
The hotel is expensive and looks dull and tired. It's very quiet though and was comfortable with staff at reception, concierge, breakfast restaurant and cleaning staff, very friendly and approachable
Very friendly staff. Helpful for all our needs. Breakfast selection was good.
it is in a convenient location, but the hotel is a little bit old and not soundproof
Wonderful hotel
Hotel is wonderful! The staff is very helpful and answered all all questions. They were very friendly too. Hotel is located within walking distance to all the tourist spots & many restaurants to choose from.
This property is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel also has an awesome location. It is within a short walking distance to the Galeries Lafayette.. Also, there are cafes and restaurants right down the street from the hotel. There are two metro stations about a block from the hotel so it is fast and easy to get anywhere in the city from the Marriott. The beds are super comfortable, but the rooms/bathrooms are a bit small.......but small hotel rooms are the norm in Europe.
Location Large room Staff Breakfast Classic and classy However needs some Reno But in all excellent Will go there again in a blink
Wonderful staff! Cecilia, Charlene, and Eriq were amazing!
Both the front desk and concierge were extremely helpful. I've stayed at the Ambassador in the past and it's still just as great. Thank you for the lovely experience as always. Will definitely be back in the future.
Excellent experience , very friendly staff and close to main attractions
Nice lobby nice rooms very welcoming team and staff very nice roof top
All the staff were very kind and helpful, specially Jeremy. The hotel’s location is just perfect. Very close to gallery Lafayette and metro station.
The location was very convenient for exploring the city. The staff was helpful and informative. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. However the shower was small. The restaurant had a limited menu for dinner but the food was good. We did see a rat scurrying around on the lobby level but otherwise the place was well maintained.
I liked everything. No complaints. If ever i go back to Paris, this hotel will be my first choice. Conveniently located.
great breakfast, confortable bed, clean bathroom, ice machine, conicerge great. what I did not like that much is that out of my seven day stay, two days the maids knocked on the door to clean the room while we were still in the room, even with the "privacy" sign posted at the door. also, floor in the room does not seem to be vacuumed and wiped properly and regularly. otherwise, fantastic hotel, great location.
The hotel is located in a good area, close to galleries Lafayette. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff was nice and willing to help.
Loved the location and the staff was amazing!! Close to metro and attractions! Breakfast was fantastic and so was happy hour!
People were very helpful and kind - I was happy with the service from the entire staff
Great location very helpful staff nice rooms two negatives are the small elevators and bad breakfast buffet especially for the price they charge
Staff are extremely helpful. Location is central, so easy to get to tourist sites.
Close to everything! 5mins walk going to the mall and few mins walk from metro
Staff was really great. Xxxxxxxxccxxxxxxccxcccccccc
