Excellent location for the town fair

The hotel is centrally located in Calahorra. It is very clean and the rooms are a generous size. The hotel has a historic feel about it but also has the modern facilities you would expect. A great hotel.

May 2024 to Bilbao

Still a beautiful and well maintained hotel and very good value for money.

Excelente hotel ocn buena cocina

Trato muy amable de la recepción. Cena muy buena, cama muy buena. Todo perfecto. Un desayuno muy amplio con servicio a la mesa para los huevos.

Faultless

Really lovely stay , very nice receptionist who couldnt have been more helpful. The room was clean & comfortable , the building itself is charming, breakfast was fabulous.we enjoyed it very much , it was definitely the best hotel we ve stayed in .

Overnight stay

A lovely hotel with character and bar cafeteria and restaurant. Lovely guest lounges and a terrace. Staff were friendly and really helpful and professional. The beds and pillows very comfortable. Will go there again and would recommend it.

Really old property so very noisy floorboards especially at night

Parador was excellent, the food both regional and more general( beware the meat and fish helpings are very generous) was good and well priced. 2 mnute walk to the lively cafe and bar area of town.

Lovely Parador stay

Very spacious and quiet room. Staff were very welcoming and interested in us and our trip. The breakfast was excellent and a good value for the price. This Parador was not as spectacular as the other Paradors we have stayed in as the building is modern, but it is designed very comfortably and is up to Parador quality.

Really good food in their restaurant. Concierge services found us a wine tasting event nearby that we would have missed on our own. Great location to split the distance from Bilbao to Barcelona

Modern Parador in centre of Calahorra

Easy to find, close to the centre & some very good bars & restaurants. Ample free parking. Staff friendly & efficient, rooms big & well equipped, but Air conditioning not working, staff said it was still on heating mode after recent cold weather, but it was 30 degrees when we were there! A minor gripe though, would certainly stay again.

Calahorra hotel

This hotel is very nice. Although I could hear snoring in the night and the floor cracked in every step. This is one of my favorite in this trip to Spain and Andorra

excellent overnight en route to Santander Ferry

Just as comfortable and welcoming as our previous stay 3 years ago.

Lovely location

Great stay with friendly staff. More than adequate for any needs. Clean and comfortable, safe to park and notable buildings with lots of local cafés and bars very nearby. Well worth the visit.

OLD WORLD ELEGANCE

This is a hotel with four stars however my stay was completely Five Star. The hotel is decorated with stunning Spanish antiques and fabrics. The breakfast buffet is worth the stay alone. Old World charm with today's services.

Calahorra Veg Out

Convenient stopping point for journey across Spain to Bilbao port (evidenced by others doing the same). Elegant hotel that probably warrants more than just an overnight stay, with it's comfortable lounges and restaurant. Half board option is good value - provided one is content with Spanish style menus and the emphasis on the local focus on vegetable production. The town has quite a number of old buildings, particularly the Cathedral, not to mention the unmissable Vegetable Museum... I expect to feature there in the near future.

Good Location

Pleasant Parador, decor very good, wood floors in the bedroom were very creaky. Problem with the water cistern in the loo which they were not able to fix. Very noisy on flushing. We were offered a change of room but decided to decline due to 1 night stay only. Only 1 gentleman serving in the bar/restaurant so service was slow although very courteous. Another waiter appeared at 9pm. The half board deal is good value, excellent wine list and reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet excellent.

Ideal base for the area

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a perfect base for us. Reception spoke English and the rooms were comfortable and clean and good wifi. Evening restaurant staff were really lovely. They were so friendly and keen to make sure we got what we wanted.

Great hotel in poor neighbourhood

The Parador de Calahorra provided the standard of accommodation and service you would expect from any of the Parador chain - we have stayed in many. Unfortunately the surroundings were not pleasant and the town in general is uninspiring. If you have to stop in the area then the hotel will not disappoint with well-equipped rooms, comfortable common areas, and a good restaurant.

Allt vi behövde fanns här!

Vi kunde inte haft det bättre! Allt ges toppbetyg. Läget, personalen, servicen, rummen och så mycket mer. Stora sällskapsutrymmen, trädgård, cafe, restaurang, närhet till staden. Parkering utanför dörren. Jättefin byggnad, kändes som ett slott. Vi kunde inte haft det bättre.

Durante la estancia en el establecimiento, ha habido tranquilidad, sin ruidos, salvo algún alojado que arrastra algún mueble que, entiendo, es responsabilidad del que lo hace.

Perfecto segun lo esperado

El parador es correcto. El personal igualmente correcto. Eché en falta una manta adicional ya que la habitación estaba fría al llegar.

Parador de ciudad pero con encanto. Nos pareció agradable, con buenas habitaciones y buen restaurante. El desayuno también muy bien. Además buena relación calidad-precio respecto a otros paradores. Camas muy cómodas.

Hotel top, Restaurant meiden!

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über eigene Parkplätze, die kostenfrei benutzt werden können. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet wie auch die verschiedenen öffentlichen anderen Räume. Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich, die Auskünfte kompetent und hilfreich. Eine große Enttäuschung war jedoch der Besuch des Restaurants. Das Essen war von schlechter Qualität und ohne Geschmack. Obwohl wir sehr hochpreisig bestellten war z. B. das Fleisch zäh, fast roh(Steak) und nur lauwarm. Nach einer Reklamation kam es nur gering verändert zurück ohne sonstige Reaktion. Den Tellern der umliegenden Tische nach zu urteilen, verließen viele Gäste das Restaurant mit demselben Eindruck.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Le restaurant est super (pour les français, le pain est facturé plus de 2€/personne).
