While our stay was pleasant, we were disappointed with some of the customer support. We appreciated that the maintenance staff may be short handed but as guests we anticipate friendly & courteous responses. Therese at reception was delightful. Spa voucher was an excellent VIP bonus.

Air-conditioning was difficult to use and filters dirty. TV stopped working. Flickering lights un lounge room, epilepsy inducing. Tennis court full of leaves.

The resort is in good location. very clean and exotic place. The apartment where we were staying bit rundown. However, we then upgraded to Villa which made our stay worth it (Thanks to the friendly staff). Totally recommend Villas to stay at Paradise links.

Villa Paradise was exceptional and great for my 2 daughters and their families. Total of 8; including 5 grown teenagers. Plenty of space. Having your own private pool was great and view of golf course was fabulous. Would thoroughly recommend. My husband and I had a 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious. Paradise Links resort was certainly a great choice.

Such a relaxing place to stay. The rainforest villa was perfect for our morning coffee and the kids had a ball in the resort pools.

Good location and clean

Wonderful stay. We had an amazing villa that was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff is also terrific. They were incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. I would definitely stay here again.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was quite concerned however the place was comfortable, relaxing and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Albeit the place is dated, tired and could do with a decent refurbishment. Some reviews mentioned issues with parking but we had no problem for the ten nights when we were there. The rooms are clean and bed super comfy.

It was a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Weather was great too!

Great unit.

Excellent and quiet unit. Very clean and tidy. Excellent outlook over the gardens and pool from 1st floor balcony. No lift. A little way to activities and restaurants but definitely highly recommended.

The new owners are absolute lovely people, which makes staying at the resort a much better experience. The apartment was clean and well maintained, and a reasonable price. It was also quiet. I would highly recommend it.

Villa 1 was run down and in need of serious upgrade. Furniture is old and worn, particularly the couch and wicker furniture bar stools had broken wicker, the bedroom pillows smell of sweat and need refreshing as do the blankets. Bbq was in poor condition but staff arranged another temporary one for our stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Paradise Links. Julian checked us in quick and efficiently. John was great, he helped us with some wifi issues and at first we had an issue with the sofa bed but John solved the issue quickly and our stay was very nice. It’s a great location, we had a rental car so we could explore the area. The facilities were clean and secure and the pool area is beautiful. We recommend Paradise Links for your stay in the Port Douglas area.

Kitchen is cluttered and poor quality cooking utensils. Little space for guest food storage, etc. Property is noisy due to window screens architecture and hard floors. No quilts even though it is winter. Throws were just stuffed into cupboard. Only 2 towels supplied even though we were there for a week.

Lovely place to stay. Enjoyed the pools and the tennis court in particular.

The room we stayed in was terrible the cleanliness of this room was disgusting the shower bath had scum on it the range hood had so much oil on it it smelled the room had a stale smell to it .. you need to get better cleaner this was the second room we went to as the first room the power kept blowing TV kept turning of Our experience was terrible the only reason we didn’t complain as we didn’t want to upset our friend who’s 60 th it was

Dirty doors around door knobs. Excessive soil, hair and dust under couch. Large roaches. No wifi for the 3 day stay. Room was changed yet paid for a room with full kitchen and oven and was given a microwave.

Big, older apartment with an amazing pool

Large apartment with two large balconies in a big, quiet gated complex. The pool was amazing and there were lots of pool toys for the kids. Beautiful gardens that were well maintained. The staff was friendly but we didn’t interact with them much at all as we were out during the day and reception isn’t open beyond 8:30-5. However, the apartment itself was pretty run down. Ripped carpet, chipped counters and furniture, heavily used appliances (scratched up and stained) and very uncomfortable plastic cushioned sofas and chairs. It was clean and the beds were comfortable though. Just all older and very well used.

Loved the swimming pools and the small kitchen.

We loved our location with a view of the rain forest. The staff were extremely helpful in arranging tours and recommendations for shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend staying here.

It was perfect for us close to the golf the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The grounds and pool was beautiful the apartment we had was extremely nice. The resort location was ideal close to everything and short distance away from the main drag.

Very friendly staff, a great location and easy access to town and facilities. A top up of the tea and coffee daily and towel changes over 4 days would have been good but other than that, no issues!

Extremely Disappointing

Our stay was disappointing 😞 we were significantly impacted by a large group of people smoking in the apartments below. We were unable to use our balcony because of the amount of smoke, or leave clothes outside. We reported to management, twice, we were met with 'you should of said something to them, thats what happens in the real world'. We were also informed that the people below were owners and that there was nothing management could do. Needless to say that we felt humiliated by the suggested solution to solve this issue and extremely unsupported as guests in the resort.

Lovely resort - family friendly. Kitchen a little pokey with no pantry space, but overall very happy with our accomodation.

A short drive out of the heart of port Douglas but absolutely worth it. Similarly priced places were smaller - we had a 2 bed villa, kitchen - all the amenities we needed and would absolutely stay again. Fantastic for kids with the pools and tennis court. It felt like home.

Bit dated but spacious

The apartment was big enough for two people,and was clean, but there was no duvet only thin sheets(we have been to port Douglas 5th time and it was still a bit cold during the night)so we ended up using blanket from closet but my husband and my self has been scratching/getting rash everywhere all our holidays and still have rash on our body. I think the blanket wasn’t clean enough.or dusty.we had a very bad sleeping situation.won’t come back again.

Could not fault this properly, loved how it was so close to the golf club, it also serves breakfast everyday! If I had to say something negative it would only be the pillows! We had a great time and are already planning to come again!

We had the pool area to ourselves or few people for a lot of the time. The children loved the multiple pools and the pool toys that were around the pool area. You could hear other guests very easily though. I think as none of the windows had glass, only shutters and fly screens. This was the only negative really. Fridge was huge, coffee machine nice and comfy beds and pillows. Loved the large baths and nice towels

Nice place, nice room although a bit dated, all taps a little stiff, TV's very small, microwave went bang firsttime we tried it, almost fall through the couch, light sensor in loby had a mind of its own and kept coming on during the night, I think with a few bucks spent to update I would upgrade my rating. Nice and roomy though and staff very helpful and friendly

Big of a Gem

Amazing resort. Incredible pool. Comfortable rooms. Great staff. Convenient for golf course. Tavern nearby. If anything a bit out of town. But not too bad.

Liked Location of Property, Quiet Area, Pool Area Disliked Villa is in Need of Upgrade Dust and Spider Webs all over, Doors, Light Switches not working, door handles missing in Kitchen, microwave just sitting in slot, back door locks broken. No Spa. Generally Disappointed for the Amount we Paid it should have been much better. We should actually get some form of Credit or Refund.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at paradise links. We were a group of 6 in 2 of the villas. The 2 bed villa had clearly been updated-new carpets upstairs, spotlessly clean, everything you could need for a few days away. Washer, dryer, iron, pans, all Crockery you could need. Lovely bathrooms with spa baths and nice showers. Beautiful balcony’s upstairs and downstairs with view of the golf course, stunning gardens and wildlife. Clean, fabulous beds. Pool was so warm, perfect for the kids and adults. Pool towels provided. So easy to park at the villas with a garage, great touch. Little bit out of town-no problem with a car. Close enough to enjoy the port and the town Only complaint was 4 nights wasn’t enough! Would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you paradise links, we feel refreshed and grateful for a holiday in your slice of paradise

We stayed in the Paradise Villa and it was absolutely fantastic. Can’t fault it for a relaxing holiday. Everything we needed was provided. Was a great experience.

Great for families especially shade covered pools. 3 bedroom villa, great size and similar to airbnb accommodation. Affordable and good value. Pool’s we’re amazing and clean.

Good resort however no wifi whilst we stayed which was being repaired. Also couldn’t even get mobile data due to phone reception in area so no internet in the rooms which made it hard when trying to organise tours restaurants etc we had to keep coming to reception to use their wifi hopefully it’s fixed soon as was extremely frustrating

No Wifi with Body Corporate issues Nice place however if you require Wifi in the privacy of your own place it may pay to look at other properties. Upon arrival (after hours) we found a letter in our room and one with our key advising that there was no Wifi and it had been down a few days and the contractor had been unable to fix the problem but Wifi was available at reception (where there’s a couple of bench seats) although completely unsuitable for work with the need to sprawl out files etc. I went to reception the following morning to see when the Wifi will be restored as I needed it for work however was advised it had been down a couple of weeks and that the problem laid with the inactivity from the Body Corporate. No alternative was offered besides sitting on a bench seat at reception which was impossible with files etc We had no other option but to connect to our expensive international data roaming and incur a bill in the hundreds. If you also have children who like playing games and communication on social media, like ours, then this place is not for you. If the Wifi had been down for weeks with no reconnection date on hand we should have been notified as this definitely would have dictated where we stayed! On arrival back home we received an email from the resort thanking us for staying there and offered us a discount code for our next stay, not as compensation just a repeat business offer. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa which had everything you would want from a serviced apartment. Great facilities for people holidaying with or without kids. Staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to meet special requests. Pools were amazing, lovely bbq area and well cared for gardens were a perfect way to spend a holiday. What a great place to stay for a few days to relax with the family

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa which exceeded our expectations. The villa was beautiful and well equipped for our family of 5. The pool area was perfect with lots of room for the kids and water at the perfect temp. It was bliss! The only bad thing was 3 nights wasn’t long enough, so next time we will definitely be staying longer.

Our stay was in a 2 bedroom appt for 6 nights. From the stairwell and landing to the whole apartment it was dirty. Spiderwebs on the walls and ceilings and behind doors. There was dust and dirt built up on skirting boards and carpet, clearly never been cleaned. The fabric bed heads both had an inch of dust along the top of them which we had to try and clean before using the beds. Dirty cutlery had been left in one room. The rooms were meant to be serviced after 4 nights, no cleaner came near the appartment the whole time we were there. The reception staff were obviously totally disinterested, even on checkout the girl just took our key and said nothing. We were left just standing there. The pool area was nice, but the sun lounge covers were filthy and some were mouldy. It is disappointing as this property could be amazing if it was presented in an acceptable manner and staff were more friendly and helpful.

This is honestly paradise - the name is fitting. Their pool is great and the staff is helpful. Family friendly!

Good location and nice surroundings. Good pool. Apartment quite dated and not cleaned (currently waiting for reply from resort on this). Basic kitchen items provided. God TVs. Loungers by pool dirty and left out so mouldy. Overall, nice resort, not enough cleaning staff.

From the moment we walked into apt we wanted to walk out. It stunk!! We changed our days from 5 days to 3 days. (That was all Manager would do for us) It was filthy, mattress was lumpy and could feel springs. Tea towels stunk and were greasy. Pool lounges were filthy. We had 2 dead coakroaches in apt when we arrived. We couldnt get netflix as advertised. Manager, Liz said she would fix it for us. But didnt get it for us. It was so bad we left after 2 days and lost the cost of 1 night. We request to be refunded the night we lost. We hope you look into this accomodation. Look forward to your response. Beautiful place to stay

I really enjoyed my stay here because the room was very clean, it had a beautiful big bath tub and nice balcony. The bed was comfy. The pool is big and so is the area around it so you can find your own space ( during winter) The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a supermarket around a 15 minute walk away. The ride into town is quick and easy on the shuttle bus service in PD. Would certainly stay here again!

This resort is a real treat. The staff are fabulous and help you out with any information you need - restaurants, shuttle buses, things to do, they know it all! The pool is lovely and although the resort was full it felt private. We had the most basic room but we had a big bathroom, a balcony and every thing we needed.We might go every year for our anniversary now. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our villa was very nice and the pools were great. The area lacked amenities. The resort was very slow at fixing problems. Our front door could not be locked for the kast 4 days of our stay.

Great for a week's stay.

The resort was situated within walking distance of Four Mile Beach and handy to a local pub and takeaway fish shop. There was a shuttle going to town but we had a car. The unit was very spacious and everything was there. We lost some of our food because the fuse to the refrigerator had flipped before we checked in and we didn't know. Also, our dishwasher wasn't working so we filled it with dishes before we knew. These two problems were addressed by management. The resort is well looked after and has great pathways around it.

This place was just perfect. We so happy to stay here. I would definitely come back and stay again. Highly recommend!

Ticks most boxes, not bad but not great

The house was perfect for a group of 9. Close to the smaller pool, bbq area and tennis court at Paradise Links and the outlook from the house was sensational. All couples mentioned the pillows left us wanting and the communal upstairs bathroom was only ever luke warm, never hot.

Resort has the potential to be great - good sized villas, lovely outlooks etc. Unfortunately maintenance issues (likely due to covid and staffing difficulties) affected our stay - no hot water on first night, spa didn't work, bbq near tennis court not working, oven/hot plates fixed with cardboard, locks on bathroom door not working The staff were great once you informed them of issues - would fix the next day, but finding them and getting them sorted took a bit of gloss off relaxing holiday.

The place is quiet and nice. However the room needs some maintenance, the bathroom has no exhaust fan and there was mould on the ceiling. The humid environment has led to some rust in the bathroom. The TV was very small and needs to be upgraded and the remote control had no guide function. The bed is on castors and moves around.

So so...

Late check-in service was great thanks to Louise but there were a big cockroach in the room and tiny aunts as well as spider webs under the table and chairs. The reception told me that's due to the tropical weather as an excuse. They just gave me one spray against insects. The room cleaning service didn't seem to be good enough.

Would have loved it if the beautiful pool was heated.

Lovely place to stay

What a beautiful and quite property. The gardens are amazing as well as the pool too. Staff are friendly and helpful with booking day trip's.

Our family stayed in a 3 bed villa for 7 nights overlooking the golf course. The outlook was lovely and peaceful. The villa spacious and well appointed. The only thing to mention is lamps would be a nice touch in the bedrooms. We didn’t hire a car so relied on the bus service to get to Macrossan St…we don’t recommend SRCoaches. Use alternative bus companies. SR were rude and overcharged our family of 5. The BEAM scooters at reception are fun and easy to use too.

Staff were friendly and helpful, Chloe was amazing.

As a young family we loved it. The value for money in our apartment was second to none. The area was clean and we loved the pool area also. The only down fall was that it seemed the reception was closed more than it was open so it made it hard to do things/ get non-urgent help at times. It is also just that little bit out of the way so we were always last off on the community transport

The location was quiet and accessible but you need a car. It is away out of the main town. The rooms are reasonable for the price but small. The property itself was very nice but local facilities limited.

It was amazing the only problem we had was parking. A few times we would come back from being in town which is just a couple minutes away, and we would find we had no parking spot. Maybe number the parking spot to room number and have visitors park elsewhere. Other then that the room was clean and decent. We were 5min walk away from four mile beach less then 10min away from town. We enjoyed the peace and quiet we had

The property itself is in good location and surrounding is beautiful and very natural. The property require more attention and detail cleaning as there was spider wave and cockroaches everywhere around the house. The kitchen utensil were not clean and you can see spider wave everywhere as well.

Great family resort

We had a 4 and 3 bedroom villa with almost exclusive access to the pools, tennis court and basketball court. The gardens were well maintained and we had great views of the golf course. The beds were very comfortable. Some of the furniture is looking tired but with very low occupancy rates the resort would be struggling to make a profit.

Peace and tranquility in paradise

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is clean and neat but the rooms are in need of a refresh, and whilst the view of the lovely lagoon pool area is beautiful, there is not much sunlight in the room. The property overall is nice with a peaceful and quiet location.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was smelly on check-in. We rectified this by always keeping the windows open. We could keep the in-built plantation shutters open all the time. The staff are fantastic. You can rent old bikes and an old car from the hotel. The main swimming pool is not heated. I could not find a spa as well. Walking distance to the beach - it's a long beach. Port Douglas has shuttle buses that will take you into town. Excellence Coaches were the cheapest at the time.

Due to Covid we had to change our plans hence needed to stay longer in Port Douglas. We were pleased we could still stay at the resort but needed to move accommodation. After enjoying 8 nights in a villa we then relocated to a one bedroom apartment. The initial one we were offered was way below par. After speaking to Holly at reception voicing our disappointment at the condition of the property we were moved to another apartment which was far superior. Clean, well maintained, comfortable bed and furnishings. Along with quality kitchen items. I'm so glad that our complaint was dealt with swiftly and in a professional manner. This is the second stay at this resort and we look forward to returning. We particularly enjoy the swimming pools, lovely gardens and quiet location. Most days we walked to the adjoining golf course for breakfast and coffee.
